General Situation

A southerly airstream is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, more than 30 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over Lantau Island and parts of the New Territories this morning, and rainfall even exceeded 70 millimetres over Tsuen Wan District and Tsing Yi.

Mainly cloudy with a few showers. Showers will be heavier with thunderstorms over some areas at first. Hot in the afternoon. Moderate southerly winds.
Hot with sunny intervals and a few showers in the next couple of days. More showers towards the weekend.
