A Chicago Sky press conference was interrupted by mysterious audio on Sunday night after the team fell to the Seattle Storm, 84-71.

Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon, rookie sensation Angel Reese and starting guard Marina Mabrey were at their desk awaiting questions from reporters when someone appeared to forget to mute their audio.

Video from the press conference showed the trio listening in on an apparent conversation about someone’s “intimate relationship” and their reactions were priceless. Eventually, the person’s audio was muted, but it still appeared to stun Weatherspoon, Reese and Mabrey.

Reese later reacted to the ordeal.

“I was shook,” she wrote on X.

Even as the Sky lost to the Storm, Reese was able to set the record for most consecutive double-doubles by a player. She surpassed Candace Parker’s mark with her 13th. Reese had 17 points and 14 rebounds and is the lone rookie averaging a double-double this year.

“I’m just trying to be consistent for my teammates, doing whatever I can to help my team,” Reese said, via EPSN. “I think I didn’t do enough tonight, but just being able to be there for my teammates and knowing that I have a job to do every day no matter if I’m a rookie or a vet.”

Reese and Caitlin Clark are the top candidates for the WNBA Rookie of the Year Award.

After Reese tied Parker’s mark, the Sky’s social media account made clear who it believes is the front-runner.

“Record setter. THE front runner,” the team wrote.

Reese now has 14 double-doubles on the season. According to ESPN, it’s tied for fifth most from a rookie in WNBA history.

John Corbett has been an actor for over three decades, but the actor’s life is not for him.

The “Sex and the City” star spoke about his frustrations on David Spade and Dana Carvey’s “Fly on the Wall” podcast last week, saying he regrets his decision to become an actor.

“Look, I’m in the fourth quarter of the football game now, in life and in showbiz. It’s just a fact,” Corbett said. “So I can reveal now I picked the f—ing wrong thing to do with my life.”

“Since I was a kid, I hate[d] being told what to do by an authority figure. So, I picked something to do with my whole life for my fulfillment of my work life, which is, ‘Dude, stand here, say this, put this on, look this way, say it faster, cut your hair like this,’” he continued.

Corbett gained acclaim for his work on shows like “Northern Exposure,” “Sex and the City,” and “The United States of Tara,” but admits he feels limited creatively. 

“And there’s not really, as an actor, in my position, which is always second, third banana in something… I’m not collaborating with the writers,” he said, adding, “You feel like a puppet.”

He continued, “Have you ever sat in a f—ing waiting room of a doctor’s office for like an hour and you’re going, ‘What the f—?’ For me, that’s what making a movie is like, because I’m not part of any creative process.”

The 63-year-old fully acknowledged he sounds “ungrateful,” but the lack of creative input into a lot of his work is what leaves him frustrated.

“I’m just telling you, I made a lot of money. I live in a beautiful home. People come to me in every f—ing restaurant I go in. I’m a friend of the world,” he said. “But as far as a fulfilling creative work life, I didn’t write one f—ing line. I didn’t write one joke to make people laugh. So it’s been unfulfilling on that level.”

He continued, “You know, there were some good times here and there, but most of it’s sitting, waiting for them to f—ing knock on your door to go, ‘Hey, we need you to come back and say that thing again.’ And to me, man, it’s such a boring f—ing life.” 

“Anybody listening that’s never been on a movie set, if you ever came to visit one of us for two days, just two of those 14-hour days, you’d say, ‘I never want to be here ever again.’ [It’s] like watching paint dry,” the “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” star added.

Corbett has dabbled in country music through the years, telling Billboard in 2006 ahead of his debut album, “It’s not like I learned to play the guitar last year and just started writing songs and thought, ‘Oh, I’m gonna make a record now.'”

But even that outlet didn’t help him, as he recalled on the podcast that the gaps between acting work leave him wanting more.

He said in 2022, “the phone never rang” with opportunities.

“For that whole year, how do I get my, besides playing guitar and piano at home, how do I express myself?” Corbett said.

The “Parenthood” star said ultimately he’s content to stay home with his longtime partner and wife, Bo Derek.

“I’m just at that point in my life now where I like being at home with Bo and the dogs,” he said.

Corbett and Derek have been together since 2002, and officially married in 2020, keeping the news private until the following year. 

Corbett said that he’s not into traveling for films: “At this point in my life, I’m just gonna…if something seems really, really f—ing fun, I’ll say yes. But then I’ll get there two days later and say why the f— did I say yes?’”

The “And Just Like That” star did have high praise for his co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, saying, “If I had to act the rest of my life with just one person, it would be her. There’s something about this girl …she’s the best.”

“And I get to do it again apparently, because I did that reboot last year, and then right before the actors strike and the writers strike, they said, ‘Hey if we get picked up would you do it again?’ And I said, ‘Sure, I’ll come do some. I really haven’t heard anything since then.”

Corbett may have been playing coy about his role in season three of the HBO series, as paparazzi photographs revealed him filming with Parker, presumably reprising his role as Aidan Shaw.

The premiere date for Season 3 of “And Just Like That” has yet to be announced, but the show is expected to return in 2025.

A single mother is living her best life after deciding to travel the world with her toddler while on a three-year paid maternity leave. 

Sarah Noack, 26, of Frankfurt, Germany, just recently ended her maternity leave and quit her job. 

The flight attendant became pregnant with her first child, Luana Noack, in 2021 and was told she could not work for the airline while pregnant.

That meant that Sarah Noack would be placed on maternity leave from then on. 

She told SWNS, however, that her company would also allow mothers to continue on maternity leave during their breastfeeding journey — which for this mom would be for roughly two more years. 

“Flight attendants aren’t allowed to work when they are pregnant at the airline I was with, so I was still having a full salary but not working,” she said.

“I have been on parental leave since my daughter was born,” she added, as “we have a breastfeeding policy where you get your whole salary while breastfeeding.”

Sarah Noack decided to take the time off as an opportunity to travel the world with her newborn daughter. 

“I wanted to have an adventurous life and have a child,” she told SWNS. 

The single mom took her two-week-old baby to Barcelona, Spain, to start out her traveling adventure.

From there, baby Luana Noack took her first steps on a beach in Bali and spoke her first words in Indonesia — something her mother said was a memorable experience. 

Although traveling full-time with a newborn baby likely sounds difficult in theory to many, Sarah Noack said she actually found it to be easier than “having a normal routine in Germany.”

She said, “Backpacking hasn’t been difficult with a baby as she was so small, [but] it is getting harder now [that] she is getting bigger and has started running around.”

Today, the pair have been to 17 countries in the first two-and-a-half years of the toddler’s life. 

The mom of one, who is now a freelance social media manager, told SWNS the pair have spent a month in Thailand, two months in Portugal and three weeks in Cambodia, to name a few stops.

Sarah Noack said her favorite country to visit was Nepal because of its rich culture. 

She said, “The country blew me away. It was beautiful [and] so different to every other place I have ever been to.”

She has also started a podcast discussing her adventure as a full-time traveling mom called “Hot Mum Things.” 

With over 60,000 followers on Instagram, Sarah Noack shares the daily realities of traveling the world with her toddler.

New York City leaders from both parties slammed a move by Mayor Eric Adams’ administration to distribute another tranche of thousands of prepaid debit cards to migrant families.

While Adams’ office claimed at its February inception the program would save the city as much as $7.2 million per year, some city lawmakers decried the latest allocation of 7,300 cards as a signal for more border-crossers to come.

Councilman Robert Holden, a Democrat from Glendale, Queens, said the “gravy train for migrants has to stop.”

“Giving out free housing, food, and legal aid while protecting them from federal authorities is unsustainable and only makes the crisis worse. This madness needs to end now.”

Holden’s borough hosts 70 migrant shelters, the most in the city, according to a New York Post analysis released Sunday.

Of the city’s zip codes, 10036 in Midtown Manhattan – which includes Fox News’ headquarters – has eight shelters alone within its dense two-fifths of a square mile.

A representative for Democratic Councilwoman Gale Brewer, who represents that neighborhood, declined comment.

The top Republican on council, Joe Borelli of Staten Island, said sanctuary city proponents may finally be realizing the consequences of their actions.

“I think Democrats are finding out the hard way that American cities just can’t be the world’s refugee camp,” Borelli said.

“We’re approaching Year Three of the migrant crisis in New York and the argument for these cards seems to be that it’s the ‘least worst’ way of doing things,” added the minority leader, whose party faces a 45-6 Democratic council majority.

City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams could not be reached for comment.

However, Democratic Councilwoman Julie Won of Long Island City, Queens, lauded the program, saying prepaid cards give migrants “sovereignty and freedom to choose whatever they want to eat” and lets them avoid “rotten” food provided by city contractors.

She said all the estimated 60,000 migrants under the city’s auspices should receive such assistance, pointing to the 23 shelters tallied in Long Island City alone.

Won said New York City spent $463 million on food procurement last year, and noted she publicly exposed how meals had often gone to waste. She said the debit card program provides better services at less than 1% of the cost of dealing with the food contractors.

Won previously hosted “welcome dinners” for small groups of migrants in her district to help them integrate into the community and get access to essential services, according to Queens news outlet QNS. 

Several other council Democrats, as well as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., who lives in Brooklyn, did not respond to comment requests.

However, Deputy Mayor Anne Williams-Isom defended the administration’s decision, while calling on the federal government to “finish the job they started” and process more asylum applications to allow migrants to work.

“As we continue to do our part to respond to this global humanitarian crisis, we are finding new ways to help us save taxpayer dollars, invest in our local economy, and support our newest New Yorkers in ways that work for families with children,” Williams-Isom said.

“They can buy from local shops, support small businesses, and manage their own resources. When we empower people, we help them achieve self-sufficiency and access the American Dream.”

In addition, one resident of the nation’s largest housing project questioned why shelters are being constructed in underserved areas.

“Why are y’all sending them here? Send them to Fifth Avenue [or] Park Avenue…” Shawarn Shields of Queensbridge Houses told the New York Post on Sunday.

In response to criticisms of the program, a city spokesperson said the debit card program only covers a small fraction of migrants.

The spokesperson also pointed to a right-to-shelter policy requiring New York City to find and provide housing to those who are homeless. They also noted migrants are still not allowed to receive federal SNAP food stamp benefits for their daily sustenance.

The spokesperson also cited a recent calculation depicting a modest per-migrant meal per-diem of $4. That amount does not go far in New York City, their analysis suggested.

Meanwhile, a representative for MoCaFi, the New Jersey-based contractor the city brought in to administer the cards, directed Fox News Digital to recent reporting on the program when asked for response to criticism.

The representative added that MoCaFi’s day-to-day focus is serving 50 million unbanked and “under-banked” Americans.
