Gov Whitmer rejects polls giving VP Harris a sizable lead over Trump in Michigan
AUSTIN, TX – Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer fiercely rejected polls giving Vice President Kamala Harris a sizable lead over former President Trump, declaring “it’s just not true.”
“It makes me nervous to see any poll that says there’s a five-point lead for Kamala Harris in Michigan now. It’s just not true,” Whitmer said Thursday at the Texas Tribune Festival.
“It’s gonna be a very close race. I believe we can win it. And I believe we wlll, but it’s gonna be very close,” Whitmer added.

Whitmer was referring to a CNN poll released this week that showed Harris having a five-point advantage over Trump.
“In Michigan right now, we have Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, and we have three other people on the ballot. CNN didn’t test for that,” Whitmer said. “And that’s why, as we see these polls, I’m telling everyone, don’t get comfortable on any. You can’t sleep on Michigan.”

However, the CNN poll did include three other candidates, showing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with 4% (he has dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump while fighting to remove his name from Michigan’s ballot), Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver with 1% and Green Party candidate Jill Stein with 0%.
Whitmer stressed the impact of third-party candidates, particularly regarding Stein during the 2016 election.
“In 2016, Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump by 11,000 votes. Jill Stein was also on our ballot and earned more than 11,000 votes,” Whitmer said.
The governor was asked what makes Michigan such a swing state.
“One of the wonderful strengths about Michigan and one of the challenges is we are the most diverse swing state in the country,” Whitmer responded. “Michigan benefited from the auto industry and brought people from the South, from the Middle East- people came from all around the globe for a job on the line at Ford Motor Company or General Motors. And it was a guarantee to the middle class where you could take care of your family, could even buy a place up north because you were paid a salary that can sustain a family and a good quality of life.”
She added, “And so that’s kind of how our population grew over the years. And that’s part of who we are. We are a microcosm of the country.”

“And I do think, you know, in Michigan over my lifetime, we take big swings. We’ve had 12 years of a Republican governor, and then we have term limits so eight years of a Democrat, then eight years of a Republican, then eight years of a Democrat. So it is a state that is notoriously kind of independent. We split our ticket a lot. And that’s who we are in Michigan,” Whitmer continued.
“And I think that’s is a great strength. I think it’s important to have robust dialogue and different points of view. And I think that over the years that has served us well. I do think right now, with all the different pressures that are happening in our political rhetoric and with social media, etc., that it makes it a lot more challenging to find that common ground. And that’s something that I’m concerned about,” the governor added.

Trump does have a history of overperforming on Election Day in comparison to the polls.
In 2020, the RealClearPolitics average of polls in Michigan showed President Biden beating Trump by more than four points but ended up winning by less than three. Similarly in 2016, the RealClearPolitics average of polls had Clinton up by nearly four points in Michigan against Trump. Trump ended up winning by 0.3 points.
Navy SEAL who killed Bin Laden slaps hotel with lawsuit after allegation derails career
FIRST ON FOX: Former Navy SEAL Rob O’Neill, the man credited with killing Usama Bin Laden, is speaking out after recently filing a lawsuit against the hotel where he allegedly assaulted a security guard and used a racial slur, which he vehemently denies and says has crippled his business career.
“I’ve lost a ton of business. There was a point in my career where I was giving 300 speeches in one year, between 250 and 300 speeches and that many cities in a year, and now it’s just dried up, because it’s a bad look that didn’t happen,” O’Neill told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview about the notorious incident at the Omni Hotel in Frisco, Texas in August last year when he was accused of assaulting a loss-prevention officer while intoxicated and calling that guard, who is white, the “N word.”
O’Neill, a former SEAL Team 6 member, who has received two Silver Stars and four Bronze Stars, says he never assaulted anyone and never used the slur which prompted him to file a lawsuit against the Omni Hotel. In the lawsuit, O’Neill argues that the security guard, Johnny Lee Loomis, should never have been hired, due to his allegedly checkered past, and alleges that he made false statements about that night.
“Hotel Defendants knowingly, recklessly, and negligently hired and retained Loomis as a security guard, despite Loomis’ publicly available history as a pedophile and child sex purveyor,” the lawsuit states. “Hotel Defendants also knowingly, recklessly, and negligently hired and retained Loomis as a security guard despite his known history of violence and of making false accusations of violence and misconduct against Hotel guests.”

O’Neill acknowledges that he had had a drink after a long day after a speaking engagement, falling asleep at the hotel bar, and that he had encountered Loomis while trying to get back into his room, but denies striking Loomis or calling him a racial slur.
“It had been a long day flying from New York to Dallas, and then we had a dinner meeting and whatnot and went to the cigar bar and then came back, and generally just being in a hospitality environment such as a hotel, you know, you sit at the bar having a try to have a nightcap and then fell asleep at the bar, which, unfortunately, has happened before and then getting semi escorted up to my hotel room, which is fine. I guess that can happen,” O’Neill recounted.
“It’s odd that it’s only one guy that did it. It’s odd the way that he knew he was going to a place with no audio and video, and also it’s just odd that he’s trying to use my wallet, my key, when as a loss-prevention officer, he has a key to a room. And any time I’ve seen it happen or been around security guys from a hotel, they have their own key. They don’t need the guy’s keys. So I was actually surprised at first when the police showed up.”

O’Neill continued. “It wasn’t until later that I found out that not only had I been accused of assault, I’d been accused of using a racial slur. And that, to me, was odd, too, along with the one guy escorting me up to him being a middle-aged white guy, like a dude in his 60s and all of a sudden he’s claiming assault and claiming a racial slur, which with two guys alone in a hallway is just to me, silly.”
O’Neill said the slur is a “horrible word” that he would “never use” and says he supports law enforcement and was treated well by local police but alleges in the lawsuit that Loomis has a track record of false statements and altercations with guests.
The lawsuit states that Loomis has “been involved in several other physical altercations with guests at the Hotel” and that in one case, Loomis “published false statements and instigated that guest’s arrest, claiming the guest had started the altercation.”

“On at least one occasion before August 22, 2023, law enforcement personnel specifically warned Hotel Defendants about Loomis and his background,” the lawsuit states. “Yet, Hotel Defendants retained Loomis in his supervisory role, giving him continued, unsupervised access to Hotel premises and guests of all ages. Hotel Defendants also took no remedial or disciplinary action against Loomis.”
“This lawsuit seeks substantial compensatory and punitive damages against Hotel Defendants for negligent hiring, screening, retention, and supervision arising from Hotel Defendants’ employment of Loomis, for Loomis’ false statements, and for events that occurred at the Hotel on or about August 22, 2023.”
The lawsuit also states that Loomis did not hold the proper security guard registration credentials in accordance with Texas law and that Louisiana law enforcement, where Loomis had been previously employed, had called to warn the hotel about Loomis and the hotel continued employing him.
O’Neill told Fox News Digital that a main reason he filed the lawsuit was to restore his name that he says has been forever sullied due to false allegations.
“There’s a ton of damage done, and the internet is forever,” O’Neill said. “And it’s just hard to just sit here and say, well, that’s not really me when it’s already out there. People that know me know this is not me. Obviously, I want to restore my reputation. I want to restore the way my family is treated and the way that they think about my reputation and their relationships with me. And most importantly, I’ve been thinking about this for a year, and I assure you, that’s a long time to keep my mouth shut, especially with my platforms. But, I really don’t want anyone else to have to deal with this.”
“When my grandkids Google my name or Neptune’s Spear or 9/11, this article that’s not even true will come up, and that affects everything from my family life, my legacy, my business, my military career,” O’Neill added.
“Even friends and family when they’ve gone places they’ve heard whispers and stuff like that, it’s just, it’s a shame. And. I mean, the lawsuit speaks for itself but again, just the fact that there are people out there that will print anything for a headline.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the Omni Hotel, which provided the following statement: “On August 23, 2023, the Frisco Police Department was dispatched to the Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star due to a disturbance call regarding guest, Robert O’Neill. Upon arrival on the scene, the responding police officers conducted their own investigation and made the determination to take Mr. O’Neill into custody.”
“The Frisco Police Department arrested Mr. O’Neill for public intoxication and assault. The security staff at the Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star followed all appropriate protocols to ensure the safety of its guests and associates.
“We will let due process play out in the court of law. Omni Hotels & Resorts followed all standard and legal protocols, including background checks upon hiring Mr. Loomis, which includes all national registries. No convictions and arrests were found. Omni has placed Mr. Loomis on suspension while this incident is under investigation. There will be no further comment at this time.”
Loomis did not respond to Fox News Digital’s media inquiry.
Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes sit separately at game amid Trump support controversy
Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes both cheered for the Kansas City Chiefs in their 27-20 opening night win against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, but they may be on different sides of other issues.
Swift and Mahomes were seen sitting in separate suites at Arrowhead Stadium amid a controversy surrounding Mahomes’ recent displays of support for Donald Trump.
Mahomes and Swift had a history of sitting together in suites when Swift started going to games last year after publicizing her relationship with tight end Travis Kelce. Seeing the two sit together while making quirky gestures during broadcast cutaways became a common staple of Chiefs games last season.
The two were also seen at public events together as the friendship between Mahomes, the wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend of over one year, became symbolic for the Chiefs in broadening their fanbase among women.

But the 2024 season is off to a different start as Mahomes is embroiled in a controversy over expressing support for Trump through Instagram activity in recent weeks. Swift was seen in a suite with Kelce’s mother Donna Kelce, while Mahomes sat in a suite with her daughter, Sterling Skye, as seen in her Instagram Stories.
Mahomes, a 29-year-old pregnant mother, first indicated her support for Trump on Aug. 13 when she liked Trump’s Instagram post that outlined the “2024 GOP platform.”
The like ignited a firestorm of backlash against the wife of the superstar quarterback. In fact, the critics included fans of Swift. Multiple fan pages dedicated to Swift posted the screenshots of the like on social media, spreading the reach of the backlash.
Mahomes responded to the criticism on her Instagram Stories on Aug. 23.
“I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
She then posted another message in reference to the situation on Instagram days later.
“Contrary to the tone of the world today….you can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind,” she wrote Aug. 26. “Read that again!”
Last week she appeared to like two other comments, one that said “TRUMP-VANCE 2024” and another that said “Glad to see you aren’t backing down. We are all entitled to our own opinions and shouldn’t be bullied into submission.”

Mahomes’ Instagram likes and the subsquent attention caught the attention of Trump himself. The former president and current presidential candidate thanked Mahomes in a post on his Truth Social account and praised her and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, as a “great couple.”

Mahomes’ controversial Instagram like hasn’t seemed to drive a wedge between her and her husband. On Brittany’s 29th birthday on Aug. 31, Patrick posted a series of photos on Instagram Saturday of him and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, celebrating her 29th birthday. The slideshow included a group picture of them and their kids, 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye and 1-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III.
Patrick has never publicly expressed support for a political figure or affiliation and he told Time in April he would not speak about who he would vote for in the upcoming election. Brittany and Patrick were born and raisedin east Texas and started dating when they attended Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas. Whitehouse is a town with a population of about 8,500 and has a history of voting Republican, according to Data USA.
However, Brittany’s connection with Swift may prove to be a different story after her recent social media activites.
While Swift has not officially endorsed a candidate in the 2024 election, she has a long history of taking up political activism in support of Democrats.

After Trump was first elected in 2016, Swift revealed her political stance for the first time, endorsing the Democratic candidates Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper in the 2018 U.S. midterm elections in her family’s home state of Tennessee.
Swift has also publicly supported abortion rights, LGBTQ inclusion and gun control.
In 2020, Swift officially endorsed Joe Biden for president and condemned Trump’s presidency, calling it “racist” in the wake of the George Floyd murder in Minnesota.
NYT editorial board member says VP Harris, Trump shouldn’t be held to the same standard
New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay said it’s “a little silly” for journalists to hold Vice President Kamala Harris to the same standards as former President Trump.
Gay was a guest on Thursday’s “Morning Joe” where the eponymous MSNBC host bemoaned the “sacrosanct” wall between editorials and news when it comes to the presidential candidates, adding how absurd it was to believe there was a “moral equivalency” between criticizing Trump and Harris.
Gay agreed the “choice is obvious” between the two, suggesting there needs to be a different standard applied to Trump.

“And there are plenty of things that we could hear from the vice president that we’d love to hear more about policy speeches,” she continued. “It’d be great to see her take more questions from the press. Those things are important.
“It’s just the context is difficult because of the extremism of the Republican Party, because of how extreme Donald Trump is, it’s hard to hold both candidates accountable equally, because one is committed to democracy and is functioning as a normal candidate from a normal American party, and the other is not.”
“And so, you know, this is really about the extremism of the Republican ticket. And it’s important to hold all candidates accountable. It’s just that when you do that, it does sometimes sound a little silly, because given the breadth of what the vice president is offering the American people, there is no comparison with Donald Trump,” Gay concluded.

Trump supporter elicits ‘pretty crazy things’ when asking why voters support VP Harris
Will Purvis, an 18-year-old college student who goes by the name “wpsteezy” on TikTok, has gone viral on the platform for videos that have supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris sharing their reasons for supporting her.
“When people watch my videos, they just, they can’t help themselves but go comment and say something on it, because some of the videos are crazy,” Purvis told Fox News Digital.
“I’ve had a woman say that when Trump was shot, she wished that he would have been shot in the forehead. So like, I’ve had people say some pretty crazy things,” Purvis added. “From the people that I talked to and my friends, I think we support Trump… and I think that Trump is the better option. It’s pretty obvious for my generation.”

Another voter cited that she liked what Harris was doing with healthcare, women’s rights and “small businesses and not the wealthy.”
“She’s very experienced, more than Trump. I would say Trump really doesn’t have experience to run s–t,” one woman said, while referring to Harris as “Camilla.”
“I don’t absolutely hate [Trump], I just think that he’s unhinged. And for him to represent himself, in a very intelligent manner is very difficult because his ego gets in the way. Camilla brings experience, education, intelligence. And, you know, she’s a woman. I think we need that. It’s time, we need it,” she added.

Despite the majority of interviewees preferring Democrats, some of Purvis’ videos have underlined the support some still champion in favor of Trump.
“[Trump] is a businessman,” one man said in a video. “I seen she was a part of ‘Biden camp,’ so she had to have been a part of what was going on in the economy.”
“Most people just want an affordable country and they want things to be affordable, like groceries, gas prices, rent prices, house prices and stuff like that. I think that’s the biggest issue, when voters are making their decision,” Purvis told Fox News Digital when asked about the most common concern for voters when considering the upcoming election.

State Dept ‘urgently’ gathering more information about American killed in West Bank
An American citizen has died during a protest in the West Bank, Fox News has confirmed.
The State Department says it is aware of “the tragic death” of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, although did not provide any more details.
The agency did not say how she died. However, Reuters, citing the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, reported that a U.S. citizen taking part in a protest against settlement expansion in the West Bank died of her wounds on Friday after being shot in the head by Israeli troops.

The incident occurred during a regular protest march by activists in Beita, a town near the city of Nablus that has seen repeated attacks by settlers, WAFA reports.
Fouad Nafaa, the head of the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, told Reuters the woman arrived at the hospital in a very critical condition, with a serious head injury.
“We tried to perform a resuscitation operation on her, but unfortunately she died,” he said.
The Turkish government condemned the death and says that Eygi was also a Turkish citizen.
The Israeli military says it is looking into the report.

“We are urgently gathering more information about the circumstances of her death and will have more to say as we learn more. We have no higher priority than the safety and security of American citizens.”
Turkey’s foreign ministry, in statement, condemned the death labeling it as a “murder committed by the Netanyahu government.”

Reality star speaks out after arrest in infamous swingers scandal
Mormon TikTok star Taylor Frankie Paul is speaking out about her arrest on domestic violence charges after her infamous swingers sex scandal.
Paul is a member of Mormon MomTok, a group of Utah-based wives and mothers who rose to fame on TikTok for their viral dancing and lip-sync videos. The now 30-year-old sent shock waves through the internet in a 2022 TikTok livestream when she announced her divorce from now ex-husband Tate Paul and shared more of their “soft swinging” lifestyle, which included some of the friends featured in her videos.
In February 2023, Paul was arrested and charged with domestic violence. Paul, who is starring in the new Hulu reality series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” recently sat down for an interview with Fox News Digital during which she reflected on her run-in with the law and the impact it had on her.
“That one was super difficult,” Paul said in a joint appearance with co-star Jessi Ngatikaura. “That was the worst thing that I’ve gone through.”

After her arrest, Paul was charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief, according to Herriman police in Salt Lake County.
A complaint filed in Salt Lake County in March 2023 alleged that Paul threw a phone, a wooden play set and “heavy metal chairs” at her boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. One of the chairs allegedly hit one of her children who was sitting next to Mortensen on the couch during their argument, an affidavit stated.
She pleaded guilty in August of that year to aggravated assault, while the other four charges were dismissed with prejudice.
Paul has said that she and Tate, who share Indy, 6, and Ocean, 3, are on “good terms.” After their separation, Paul began dating Mortenson. Seven weeks into their relationship, Paul revealed that she and Mortenson were expecting their first child together, but she suffered an ectopic pregnancy.
Though Paul and Mortenson’s relationship has been marked with ups and downs, including her domestic violence arrest, the pair are still together. Mortenson regularly appears in Paul’s videos and photos and the couple welcomed their son Ever in March 2024.
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” follows the fallout from Paul’s “soft swinging” revelations and the sex scandal that changed the lives of the other women featured in her videos.
In her explosive 2022 TikTok livestream, the influencer said that she and Tate had agreed to a lifestyle that included having multiple partners. She said that they were engaged in “soft swinging” with a group of their friends comprised of other married Mormon couples.
Paul said the group had an agreement that they “wouldn’t go all the way” with their other partners. However, Paul admitted that she “did step out of the agreement” with one of the other husbands in the group.
“That’s where I messed up, and I, obviously, am losing everything that I have,” Paul said during the livestream.
Paul claimed that “no one was innocent” within the swingers group and that “everyone had hooked up with everyone.”
She went on to explain that she and Tate had “other issues” that led to their split but “this was like the tip of the iceberg.”

After the scandal broke, other members of MomTok faced an onslaught of speculation over whether they had also participated in “soft swinging.” Several took to social media to deny the claims while others stayed silent, but none have yet confirmed their involvement.
While speaking with Fox News Digital, Paul elaborated on the overlap between MomTok and her swingers group, explaining that the two were “a little bit intertwined.” However, she added that “maybe only one” member of MomTok was a part of the other group, who she said were “all intimate with each other.”
“I came out,” she recalled. “It got on the internet, kind of broke the internet. MomTok was involved, and then — I guess the public kind of thought everyone was swingers in MomTok. And then it kind of blew up from there. People were dissecting. It was like a thing.”
“And then we got offered this TV show, and I feel like it gave me an opportunity to kind of tell my side of the story, whether those who were involved were in it or not and those who were affected by it,” Paul said.
Ngatikaura told Fox News Digital that the whole MomTok group was “rocked” by the scandal.
“Since we were all, you know, kind of close friends on the internet, people just assumed everyone in MomTok was involved,” Ngatikaura explained. “So it was hard to navigate everyone just all of a sudden throwing accusations at you because of misconceptions. And the friendship group definitely dissipated.”
She continued, “The cast of the show is a little bit different than the actual MomTok group because of that. There were a lot of people who didn’t want anything to do with Taylor or MomTok anymore. So for me, I was just kind of focused on making sure the friendship stayed intact, and that Taylor was OK. But it definitely had its ups and downs. And you see that play out on the show.”

Paul told Fox News Digital that Tate was “in shock” after she revealed their swingers lifestyle on TikTok.
“I think when it hit the internet, everyone was kind of in survival mode and, like, ‘What’s going on?'” she recalled. “[Tate] kind of quieted down and kind of just wanted to mind his own business.”
Paul continued, “He kind of just, like, got off social media and is living his life happy now, and I’m really happy for him.”

Ngatikaura explained that some of the husbands began to feel insecure about their marriages due to the scandal.

“I would say that a lot of the husbands in the group that didn’t know it was happening until the swinging scandal broke were like, ‘Oh my gosh, could that happen to me now?’” she said. “And I think that kind of led into jealousy with the husbands, and you see some of that play out on the show. There’s insecurity now because you never know what could happen behind the scenes, you know? So I think it definitely rocked a lot of relationships. But again, maybe it needed to happen to make those relationships stronger.”

Doctors draw attention to safety issues associated with popular weight-loss drugs
The demand for highly sought-after weight-loss drugs continues to rise. However, as more patients embrace this trend, doctors are cautioning them about potential side effects.
Anti-obesity medications “exert potent effects throughout the body, particularly the gastrointestinal tract,” according to gastroenterologist and obesity medicine specialist Dr. Christopher McGowan.
Because of these effects, close supervision, monitoring and medical oversight are “critical for all patients,” McGowan told FOX Business.
The growth of weight-loss drugs, otherwise known as GLP-1 medications, represents a shift in obesity management. But, they should not be taken casually or carelessly, McGowan said. In fact, these potent effects are the very reason why the products warn patients about nausea, vomiting, gastroparesis and bowel obstruction, which was highlighted in a recent lawsuit.
A Pennsylvania woman, who went into emergency surgery and lost her colon after taking Wegovy and Ozempic, is suing Novo Nordisk claiming that the drugs didn’t adequately warn patients about potentially serious side effects.
WEIGHT-LOSS DRUGS COULD REDUCE COVID-RELATED DEATHS: STUDY
Novo Nordisk told FOX Business that the allegations in the lawsuit are “without merit,” and it intends “to vigorously defend against these claims.”
While McGowan believes there are adequate warnings for such drugs, he said that, like all medications, GLP-1 drugs come with risks that patients must take into consideration.
With millions of Americans now on these medications, McGown expects “more cases of severe side effects are likely to emerge,” which “should at least serve as a caution to anyone starting a GLP-1 medication.”
“There is a misconception that these medications are universally effective and universally safe. That is not true,” McGowan said, adding that while clinical trials demonstrated a favorable safety profile, patients still need to be informed about the potential risks.
“Patients have ended up in the hospital. They have required surgery for gallbladder disease and have experienced dehydration, electrolyte abnormalities and even kidney failure,” according to McGowan.

Aspiration, which is when food, drink or other objects are accidentally inhaled into the lungs, pneumonia and procedural complications have also occurred in patients on these medications “due to retained gastric contents while receiving anesthesia,” he said.
“Though exceedingly rare, these represent serious adverse events,” McGowan said. He added that there are also “emerging concerns about potential suicidal ideation, which is not yet proven but highlights the complexity of treating obesity and taking a medication that has effects within the brain.”
Novo told FOX Business that these types of GLP-1 medicines have been used to treat Type 2 diabetes for roughly two decades, and for the treatment of obesity for almost 10 years. This includes semaglutide, the active ingredient in Wegovy and Ozempic, and liraglutide, the active ingredient in Saxenda and Victoza.
The company said it “stands behind the safety and efficacy of all of our GLP-1 medicines when they are used as indicated and when they are taken under the care of a licensed healthcare professional.”
Novo said that semaglutide, for example, “has been extensively examined in robust clinical development programs, large real world evidence studies and has cumulatively over 9.5 million patient years of clinical experience.”
The known risks and benefits of its drugs are described in their FDA-approved product labeling, Novo said.
Ozempic was FDA-approved in 2017 for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes, to improve blood sugar, along with diet and exercise. Weight loss is a common side effect, but the drug isn’t approved for chronic weight management.

In 2021, the FDA approved Wegovy for chronic weight management in adults who are obese or overweight with at least one weight-related condition. Earlier this year, Wegovy was also approved for use as a heart disease prevention medication after a study showed that the drug reduced the risk of serious heart problems by 20%.
While both contain semaglutide, they are different products with different indications, dosages and prescribing information. The products are also not interchangeable and should not be used outside their approved indications, Novo said.
