Vice President Kamala Harris is fond of saying that Donald Trump is only in it for himself, not the American people. Well, this weekend we saw, in a picture-perfect example of psychological projection, Harris throwing a small business under the bus for her own supposed political gain.

On Saturday, GOP vice presidential nominee JD Vance tried to drop in on Pittsburgh’s famed Primanti Bros. sandwich shop, only to be barred entry. This came much to the disappointment of waiting voters, some of whom angrily recorded the events on their phones.

VANCE NOT ALLOWED TO CAMPAIGN IN PITTSBURGH CULINARY LANDMARK – DESPITE HARRIS EVENT AT SAME RESTAURANT CHAIN

Ire was raised on the right, threats of boycotts abounded, and Vance had cause to be a little miffed.

But Trump’s running mate graciously forgave the snub, while greeting fans in the parking lot, paying for the crowd’s meals with a generous tip. The store released a statement saying he was welcome and that their employee had just been surprised by the cameras.

As the Bard once pointed out, all’s well that ends well, until Kamala Harris gets involved, and it’s very telling.

On Sunday, Harris’ campaign posted a video on X showing Harris being welcomed as a hero in Primanti Bros. back in August. The message was as clear as it was ugly – unlike Republicans, Democrats are welcome in polite society.

Let’s set to one side the fact that Harris’ appearance at the Steel City staple this summer was met by widespread mockery when it was discovered her campaign had kicked out actual diners and bused in supporters to set the fraudulent scene. That’s bad enough.

But what Harris has wrought here isn’t just the disingenuous papering of the house at a political event. She is doing real harm to Primanti Bros.’ effort to walk this situation back and make clear that everyone, of every political stripe, is welcome there.

That was the point Vance was trying to make when he spoke after being denied entry, saying of the manager, “Don’t hold it against her, she just got a little nervous, but it’s a great local business.”

That is the classy way to handle such a thing. It is what generations of Americans have expected from our leaders.

Primanti Bros. confirmed that was what happened and that really should have been the end of it. But no, not for Kamala Harris, the ‘me’ girl, around whom all things must revolve.

It didn’t matter to Harris that the matter had been settled, that calls to boycott the restaurant were dying down, or that people were ready to move on to more serious matters.

No, the vice president of the United States had to spike the football on X over her astroturf event at the greasy spoon, even if it meant hurting the business. You see, Harris winning is more important than any individual small business.

And it was done in such an obnoxious way. Does Harris really want all of our businesses segregated by the politics of the customers? How ghastly.

It brought me back to a conversation I had with a woman in San Francisco recently. She was a lifelong resident who had followed Harris’ rise.

“She doesn’t seem to believe in much, and the word is she isn’t very nice,” she told me.

This echoes similar voices in Pennsylvania who told me they “just don’t know who she is,” or, commonly, “I think she’ll say anything to get elected.”

Harris keeps insisting that she is the candidate who is selflessly in the race for the sake of the American people, while Trump only cares about Trump, but when has Harris ever done anything selflessly, or not on the public dime?

When in her career has she taken a back seat for the good of the people?

She certainly isn’t doing so by extending the controversy and misery surrounding Primanti Bros., which wants nothing more than for this whole story to go away.

The brutal fact is that the only moral compass Harris and her campaign have is set squarely on a north star of victory, not helping actual people, even if they think they might get around to that part eventually.

In the meantime, much like the bused-in participants at her event at Primanti Bros., we are all just extras in Kamala’s Excellent Adventure.

Donald Trump snags significant Hollywood endorsement from ‘Shazam!’ star

A Hollywood actor is throwing his support behind former President Trump as Election Day is a little more than five weeks away.

“Shazam!” star Zachary Levi revealed his pick for president while moderating an event with former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, the former Democrat congresswoman from Hawaii, in Michigan on Saturday.

Levi opened the event by explaining that he initially was backing RFK Jr. in the 2024 presidential election, and when Kennedy suspended his campaign, Levi  knew to whom he was sending his support.

“In a perfect world, in whatever that would look like, perhaps I would have voted for Bobby,” Levi said. “But we don’t live in a perfect world. In fact, we live in a very broken one. We live in a country that has been hijacked by a lot of people who want to take this place way off the cliff, and we’re here to stop that.”

Levi added that he grew up in a Christian conservative family and his parents taught him to “have a healthy level of distrust of the government,” adding that Kennedy is the “real deal” and the kind of politician he wanted to support for president.

“We are going to take back this country. We are going to make it great again, we’re going to make it healthy again. And so I stand with Bobby and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump. … Of the two choices that we have, and we only have two, President Trump is the man that can get us there,” Levi said.

Levi starred as the superhero Shazam in two DC movies in 2019 and 2023. The movies are about a young boy who transforms into an adult man after saying the catchphrase. He also starred in the TV series “Chuck” and voiced Flynn Rider in the animated Disney movie “Tangled.”

The actor also brewed a social media storm after expressing his distrust of the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer in a post on X in 2023.

‘SHAZAM’ STAR ZACHARY LEVI RIPS HOLLYWOOD FOR MAKING ‘GARBAGE’ MOVIES: ‘THEY DON’T CARE ENOUGH’

The controversy began when Levi retweeted a question from Moorhouse Group founder Lyndon Wood, who questioned his followers, “Do you agree or not, that Pfizer is a real danger to the world?”

Levi replied to the question, “Hardcore agree.”

The brief comment stirred intense backlash from left-leaning X accounts, attacking the actor for “disappointing” them after supporting “antivax propaganda.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the Trump campaign and Levi for comment on the endorsement and did not immediately receive a response.

Rob Gronkowski left confused as ‘FOX NFL Sunday’ crew pulls off hilarious prank

NFL legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski was the subject of a “FOX NFL Sunday” prank that left him flabbergasted in a hilarious scene.

Whenever it comes to breaking down tight ends, the star-studded crew is going to turn to Gronkowski, the four-time Super Bowl champion who should be wearing a gold jacket one day after being one of the best tight ends in NFL history.

But his Fox colleagues decided to pull a fast one on him during a fake segment that everyone but “Gronk” knew wasn’t real.

“He thought we were going live with an extra segment,” Fox NFL Insider Jay Glazer said in a clip recap of the prank. “… The premise was, I was going to ‘break news’ that the Cowboys were activating this great Pro Bowl tight end who doesn’t exist and Gronkowski has to go on what he thinks is live TV to talk about this tight end.”

Gronkowski’s colleague, Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, suggested in the next clip that the team should talk about Russo. Thus, the prank begins.

Glazer then started to talk about Russo being activated by the Dallas Cowboys, but Gronkowski was being very quiet as the fake player was being discussed. Then Strahan stepped in.

ROB GRONKOWSKI ON WHETHER HE WOULD HAVE WORN GUARDIAN CAP DURING HIS PLAYING DAYS

“That’s big because Russo is a complete game-changer, takes so much pressure off [Cowboys quarterback] Dak [Prescott], takes so much pressure off the run game, great blocker, great receiver,” Strahan said.

After that explanation, host Kurt Menefee looked to Gronkowski for his input on Russo, and despite being confused, he simply winged it.

“Uh, he’s been out for a little bit so he might be a little rusty coming back, but I think they’re going to give him the opportunities, that’s for sure, but also they got [Jake] Ferguson as well, so they’re going to be a 1-2 combo,” Gronkowski said.

Gronkowski tried to shift the conversation to Ferguson, the actual starting tight end of the Cowboys. However, another Hall of Famer in Terry Bradshaw went right back to Russo, and that’s when things got really wacky.

“He’s the only guy in the league that has two fingers missing on his right hand, that’s why he’s been out, and he’s back now,” Bradshaw said.

“So, is that going to affect him when he’s catching a pass?” Gronkowski questioned Bradshaw.

The crew was trying their hardest to keep the bit going, but after they couldn’t hold a straight face any longer, Menefee let Gronkowski in.

“Whoa! I was wondering,” Gronkowski said in a shocked manner. “I was going to say right when it was done, ‘Guys, I’ve never heard of Rich Russo in my life.’”

When the show was actually live this Sunday, Gronkowski let his team know that they had his “head spinning” as he tried to figure out how to seem knowledgeable about Russo.

But if there’s anything Gronkowski learned about that moment, it was “that I am always ready.”

Liberal New York publication delivers scathing rebuke of Biden in Harris endorsement

The New Yorker magazine issued a scathing rebuke of President Biden in its official endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris published Sunday.

The magazine heaped praise on Harris for displaying “the basic values and political skills” to defeat former President Trump in a lengthy endorsement, but not before scolding President Biden for standing in her way.

“It was hardly a secret that Biden has aged, growing markedly less robust, particularly in the past eighteen months or so. If he got through an interview or a (rare) press conference without incident, staff and supporters exhaled and treated it as a victory,” the editors wrote.

FORMER REPUBLICAN US SENATOR ENDORSES KAMALA HARRIS, SAYS ELECTION OFFERS ‘STARK CHOICE’

“But, rather than open the gate to a younger generation of Democratic candidates, Biden, his advisers, and the Party leadership stood in the way. They made it plain that a challenger would inevitably be defeated. Meanwhile, through spin and deft scheduling, the White House staff protected the President and hoped for the best. Tens of millions of voters, fearing another Trump Presidency, had little choice but to close their eyes and think of America,” the endorsement reads.

The editors wrote that the infamous debate, which led to the end of Biden’s re-election bid, broadcast to the world the extent of his “disintegration.”

“Viewed more coldly, it was a gift. Had it taken place, say, after the Conventions, it might have been too late to force a reassessment,” the article reads.

“Trump said… ‘I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said, either.’ By Trumpian standards, this was a kindness. It was also the end of the Biden candidacy,” the editors continue.

The endorsement also spends a significant portion attacking Trump, calling him a “menacing presence in American life.”

“There’s every reason to think that Trump II would be far worse than Trump I,” they wrote.

HARRIS-TRUMP SHOWDOWN: THE EDGE IS CLEAR ON THIS KEY ISSUE

Harris, they wrote, has “got the ‘vibes,’ as this year’s cliché has it. But the race remains very close.

“In both 2016 and 2020, Trump outperformed the polls. No responsible assessment of the contest has the luxury of focussing only on the imperatives for a Harris Administration and gliding past the ramifications of another Trump Administration,” the editors continue.

The New Yorker was among the first left-leaning publications to urge Biden to step aside after his disastrous debate performance in June.

“Watching Thursday’s debate, observing Biden wander into senselessness onstage, was an agonizing experience, and it is bound to obliterate forever all those vague and qualified descriptions from White House insiders about good days and bad days,” The New Yorker’s editor, David Remnick, wrote at the time.

“You watched it, and, on the most basic human level, you could only feel pity for the man and, more, fear for the country.”

Scandal-plagued ‘worst mayor in America’ facing new disaster after reportedly being evicted

Tiffany Henyard, the scandal-plagued Democratic mayor of Dolton, Illinois, appears to be facing a new disaster after a local report indicated she is being evicted from her home.

Henyard, dubbed by residents as “the worst mayor in America,” and her boyfriend Kamal Woods owe more than $3,300 in rent on a home they have been renting in the 14600 block of South Harvard for the past three years, FOX32 Chicago reported, citing copies of an eviction notice filed against the couple in Cook County Court.

Henyard also reportedly refused to allow the property to be inspected.

An attorney for Heynard told FOX32 via text message that the claim is false, and the couple has not missed any rent payments.

CONTROVERSIAL DEMOCRAT MAYOR UNDER INVESTIGATION AFTER WILD TIRADES, POLICE RAIDS, LAVISH SPENDING

Henyard, a self-proclaimed “supermayor,” has come under fire for extravagant spending on the taxpayer’s dime, making national headlines for contentious town hall meetings with residents and city officials that escalated to requiring police involvement.

In April, police were forced to shut down a meeting due to safety concerns following chaotic exchanges between Henyard and residents

In June, police officers broke up a scuffle between supporters and opponents of Henyard before it turned violent.

On Tuesday, another out-of-control meeting unfolded in Thornton Township, where Henyard also serves as Thornton Township Supervisor. Township trustees called on Henyard to be more open about her lavish spending habits, leading Henyard to accuse them of attacking her.

CONTROVERSIAL MAYOR DEFIES BOARD, SAYS SHE ‘CLEANED UP’ TOWN DESPITE TURNING BALANCE SHEET RED

“This is what I mean about my board,” Henyard said. “It’s a lot of hate, jealousy, and envy amongst them towards their supervisor.”

Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot previously investigated Henyard for her spending habits in the Village of Dolton, though there has been no investigation into her spending habits regarding Thornton Township.

Lightfoot’s investigation into the town’s financial situation revealed in a preliminary report that Dolton’s general fund balance was $5.61 million in 2022, but by May 2024 the balance had dropped to a deficit of $3.65 million.

Lightfoot also disclosed that Henyard used the village credit card to make purchases at Amazon, Target, Walgreens, Wayfair and other retailers. One jaw-dropping statement revealed that the embattled mayor had dropped $33,000 on Jan. 5, 2023, on Amazon.

Henyard most recently spent approximately $85,000 to throw a party that featured R&B singer Keke Wyatt and rapper J. Holiday last month.

Residents evacuate as toxic smoke billows from massive BioLab fire

Georgia officials are asking some residents to evacuate after a fire at a chemical plant started spreading toxic smoke on Sunday.

The fire began at the BioLab plant in Conyers – which is located around 32 miles southeast of Atlanta – at 5 a.m. on Sunday, FOX 5 Atlanta reported. BioLab is a company that produces pool chemicals, according to its website.

BioLab told Fox News Digital that they are “actively responding” to the incident.

“Our employees are accounted for with no injuries reported,” a spokesperson said. “Our team is on the scene, working with first responders and local authorities to assess and contain the situation. As always, the safety of our community remains our top priority.”

MISSOURI OFFICIALS RESPOND TO REPORTS OF FIREWORKS WAREHOUSE IN FLAMES

By the afternoon, the smoke clouds were emanating from the facility and huge billows of multicolored clouds still polluted the air. During a press conference on Sunday morning, Rockdale County Fire Chief Marian McDaniel said that a sprinkler head at the facility malfunctioned and “caus[ed] a mixture with a water reactive chemical.”

Social media video of the fire shows gigantic clouds of smoke visible from I-20, which had been blocked off between Salem Road and Turner Hill on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say that those who live south of I-20 are safe, but those who live north of I-20 or between I-20 and Sigman Road are asked to evacuate.

“Please evacuate the area if you are inside this zone,” Rockdale County officials said in a Facebook post. “I-20 will be blocked off in both directions between Salem Rd and Turner Hill.”

MARYLAND FAMILY’S SUV BURSTS INTO FLAMES WHILE THEY SLEPT, VIDEO SHOWS: ‘WE WERE TERRIFIED’

During a Sunday press conference, Rockdale County Sheriff Eric Levett told residents that “this is not the time to do any type of sightseeing.”

“We are strongly encouraging everyone, no matter where you’re coming from, but especially Rockdale residents, to stay out of this area for the safety of yourself, and for the safety of all personnel that are out here already that have to work this type of incident,” the official advised.

The Rockdale County Animal Services asked residents within the evacuation area to bring their animals along with them.

“Please, if you’re in the evacuation area, take your pets with you. Please do not leave them behind,” the organization said. “We are loaded and getting the 50+ shelter animals out of the area and to safety.”

Ravens star has sensational touchdown that immediately puts him in the records books

The Baltimore Ravens needed just a single play on offense to find the end zone on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills, and franchise history was made in the process.

After forcing Josh Allen and the Bills’ red-hot offense to punt on its first drive of the game, Lamar Jackson and his Ravens offense set up from their own 13-yard line.

On the first snap, Jackson turned around and handed it off to his star running back Derrick Henry and he immediately saw a hole on the right side of the line that he liked.

Thanks to a perfect block from fullback Patrick Ricard, Henry was quickly into the second level and saw daylight as he turned on the burners down the right sideline.

As Bills defenders were chasing him, Henry kept pace, looking up at the videoboard in front of him to see where Buffalo players were. But they couldn’t catch up, as Henry walked into the end zone for an 87-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage for the Ravens on their home turf.

BALTIMORE RAVENS BRING BACK EDGE RUSHER YANNICK NGAKOUE

Henry, who came into this game with the most rushing touchdowns in the league with four through three games, didn’t just put his team up 7-0, but he made Ravens history with the longest run in franchise history at 87 yards.

“King Henry” was a massive pickup for Baltimore this offseason, as the former Tennessee Titans running back hit the free agent market as one of the top options for every team to bid for.

Henry ended up signing a two-year contract worth up to $16 million with Baltimore.

With Jackson already such a rushing threat when he has the ball in his hands, adding Henry has been as advertised despite the Ravens coming into this game with a 1-2 record on the year.

Henry entered Sunday with the fifth-most rushing yards in the league at 281 over 56 attempts, which comes out to five yards per carry.
