JD Vance calls out VP Harris’ ‘bizarre’ answers during FOX News interview

Republican VP candidate JD Vance said Thursday that he believes “something pathological is going on” with Vice President Kamala Harris that leads to her blaming former President Trump for issues that occurred during her time in office.

Harris insisted Wednesday during an exclusive interview with “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier that she would “not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency” after previously being unable to name anything she would have changed about his administration.

Responding on “Fox & Friends,” Vance said he simply doesn’t believe her and suggested it will be more of the same if she is elected president.

“The entire theme of her campaign is that she hasn’t even met the person that’s the president, even though she’s his sitting vice president and ran along the ticket with him,” Vance told hosts Lawrence Jones, Ainsley Earhardt and Steve Doocy.

KAMALA HARRIS ASSERTS HER PRESIDENCY ‘WILL NOT BE A CONTINUATION’ OF BIDEN’S

“She is, of course, the deciding vote in trillions of Joe Biden’s spending. She bragged about being the last person in the room when major decisions were made,” Vance continued.

“But we have to sort of step back and appreciate, there is something pathological going on here. She has been in power for three and a half years and when asked about how she would be different, she goes and talks about Donald Trump.”

Vance said that Harris deflects when it’s pointed out that she’s been in office for nearly four years, calling her answers in the interview “bizarre.”

“She says, ‘Well, you know, [Trump’s] been talking about politics for 10 years,’” Vance said.

“What is it in the mind of this person that can’t just acknowledge that she has been in power for three and a half years and bears some responsibility as the sitting vice president for the condition the country is in?” he added.

“She can do any number of things, she can say, ‘Well, I think that things are a little bit better than you’re giving me credit for,’ or she can say, ‘Well, this wasn’t totally my fault.’”

Vance said that Harris instead “pretends” that Trump is responsible for “problems that happened while she was the sitting vice president” when it comes to the border, the affordability of groceries, “chaos on the world stage” and other issues.

KAMALA HARRIS AVOIDS QUESTIONS ABOUT BIDEN’S MENTAL DECLINE: ‘JOE BIDEN IS NOT ON THE BALLOT’

“I’ve never seen a person who’s running for president, as the sitting vice president, who pretends that she has nothing to do with the condition of the country she’s been governing,” Vance said.

Vance was referring to a moment from Wednesday night’s interview when Baier pressed Harris over telling “The View” last week, “There is not a thing that comes to mind” that she would do differently from Biden. Harris dodged the question again on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency, and, like every new president that comes in to office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas. I represent a new generation of leadership,” Harris told Baier.

She continued, “I, for example, am someone who has not spent the majority of my career in Washington, D.C. I invite ideas, whether it be from the Republicans who are supporting me, who were just on stage with me minutes ago, and the business sector, and others who can contribute to the decisions that I make.”

Baier followed up, “We’ve heard a lot about those plans in recent days. Your campaign slogan is ‘a new way forward’ and ‘it’s time to turn the page.’ You have been vice president for three and a half years, so, what are you turning the page from?”

“First of all, turning the page from the last decade in which we have been burdened with the kind of rhetoric coming from Donald Trump that has been designed and implemented to divide our country and have Americans literally point fingers at each other. Rhetoric and an approach to leadership that suggests that the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down instead of what we all know the strength of leadership is based on who you lift up,” Harris said.

BIDEN SAYS HARRIS HANDLED ‘EVERYTHING FROM FOREIGN POLICY TO DOMESTIC POLICY’ UNDER HIS ADMINISTRATION

Baier attempted to interject, but Harris continued, “The strength of an American president which is one who understands that the vast majority of us have more in common than what separates us.”

She emphasized, “That is about turning the page on rhetoric that people are frankly exhausted of, Bret. People are exhausted.”

Baier asked why, after three and a half years of the Biden-Harris administration, 79% of people say the country is on the wrong track. “If you’re turning the page, you’ve been in office for three and a half years,” he prompted.

“And Donald Trump has been running for office since-” Harris replied as Baier again noted she had been in office.

“Come on,” she said. “You and I both know what I’m talking about.”

“I actually don’t, what are you talking about?” he asked, before Harris pivoted again to Trump.

Trump says three nice things about Harris after she struggled with same question of him

Former President Trump offered compliments to Vice President Kamala Harris at the Univision town hall after she struggled to say three nice things about him during her own town hall last week.

Univision’s election special ended on a lighter note Wednesday night when Trump was asked by a Hispanic voter to name “three virtues” about his Democratic rival.

“That’s a very hard question,” Trump quipped, sparking laughs from the audience. “That’s the toughest question. The other ones are easy! I’m not a fan, I’m not a fan. I think she’s harmed our country horribly, horribly — at the border, with inflation, with so many other things.”

KAMALA HARRIS AVOIDS QUESTIONS ABOUT BIDEN’S MENTAL DECLINE: ‘JOE BIDEN IS NOT ON THE BALLOT’

“But she seems to have an ability to survive,” Trump went on to tell the voter. “Because, you know, she was out of the race, and all of a sudden she’s running for president. That’s a great ability that some people have and some people don’t have.”

“She seems to have some pretty longtime friendships… I don’t call that an ability. I call that a good thing,” he continued. “And she seems to have a nice way about her. I mean, I like the way, you know, some of her statements, some of her- the way she behaves in a certain way. But in another way, I think it’s very bad for our country, very bad for our country. But she does seem to have some relationships that [are] lasting, and she does seem to be a survivor, because remember, she was the first one out, and all of sudden she’s running for president. And the other 21 people that are running, they’re sitting home watching her on television, right? So that’s by far the toughest question I’ve had today.”

Last week, the same voter asked Harris to name “three virtues” Trump has, which prompted an awkward laugh from the Democratic nominee.

“Let me start with this… Based on a life experience, I know that the vast majority of us have so much more in common than what separates us,” Harris responded. “And part of what pains me is the approach that, frankly, Donald Trump and some others have taken, which is to suggest that it’s us versus them, whoever that may be. And having Americans point fingers at each other, using language that’s about belittling people and calling them names and meant to make them afraid and live in fear. I don’t think that’s healthy for our nation. And I don’t admire that. And, in fact, I’m quite critical of it coming from someone who wants to be President of the United States.”

After pondering for a moment over the question, Harris then said, “I think Donald Trump loves his family. And I think that’s very important. I think family is one of the most important things that we can prioritize.”

“But I don’t really know him, to be honest with you,” the vice president continued. “I only met him one time on the debate stage. I’d never met him before, so I don’t really have much more to offer you.”

Israeli forces investigating whether Oct 7 mastermind was killed in operation

The Israel Defense Forces and the country’s domestic security agency Shin Bet have announced that it is investigating whether Hamas terror chief Yahya Sinwar was killed on Thursday in the Gaza Strip.

The agencies said in a joint statement that “During IDF operations in the Gaza Strip, three terrorists were eliminated” and that it was “checking the possibility that one of the terrorists was Yahya Sinwar.”

“In the building where the terrorists were eliminated, there were no signs of the presence of hostages in the area,” they added. “The forces that are operating in the area are continuing to operate with the required caution.”

Referred to by Israel as the Butcher of Khan Younis for his violent and cruel torture methods against his enemies, both Israeli and Palestinian, Sinwar, 60, is widely seen as being behind the massacre of Israeli civilians carried out by thousands of Hamas militants on Oct. 7.

HAMAS NAMES YAHYA SINWAR, MASTERMIND OF OCT. 7 ATTACKS, AS ITS NEW LEADER

Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Lt. Col. Richard Hecht had told reporters last October that “Sinwar is the leader of Hamas in Gaza and he’s a dead man walking.”

“We will get to him, however long it takes… and this war could be long,” he said.

Sinwar was believed to be somewhere in the Palestinian enclave but hidden deep underground in the warren of tunnels Hamas uses to transport weapons and fighters and where they may even be keeping the hostages, was born in the Khan Younis refugee camp when the area was part of Egypt.

According to multiple sources, he was always a militant activist and joined Hamas not long after its founding in 1987. Two years later, he was arrested by Israel for his involvement in the abduction and killing of two Israelis, as well as the torturing and murder of four Palestinians he considered to be collaborators.

ISRAEL’S HUNT FOR HAMAS TERROR LEADER YAHYA SINWAR: ‘DEAD MAN WALKING’

Sentenced to life in prison, Sinwar ended up serving 22 years in an Israeli jail and was eventually released as part of a prisoner exchange for the abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in 2011.

“Sinwar has been active since the early days of Hamas,” Kobi Michael, a senior researcher at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv, previously told Fox News Digital. “In jail, he became a prominent leader of Hamas prisoners and was a very influential figure among all Palestinian prisoners.”

After being returned to Gaza as part of the Shalit deal, Sinwar became a popular leader in Hamas, an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood, and in 2017 was elected by secret ballot to replace the incumbent political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in Iran this July.

Biden-Harris admin’s ‘rampant waste, fraud and abuse’ revealed in new Comer report

EXCLUSIVE: House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed his committee’s oversight work of the Biden-Harris administration, telling Fox News Digital that Americans “cannot afford” another term of “incompetence.”

Vice President Kamala Harris has “been an active participant in the worst administration in U.S. history that has inflicted untold harm on the American people,” Comer told Fox News Digital.

Comer compiled a 72-page report with the committee’s “118th Congress accomplishments,” highlighting the committee’s work — including its investigation into the Biden family’s domestic and international business dealings, oversight of the Biden-Harris administration’s border crisis, as well as probing the fraud and abuse related to COVID unemployment relief benefits and the infiltration of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the U.S.

“Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee are committed to achieving what Democrats have neglected: rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government and holding the Biden-Harris Administration accountable,” he said. “We have succeeded.”

BIDEN COMMITTED ‘IMPEACHABLE CONDUCT,’ ‘DEFRAUDED UNITED STATES TO ENRICH HIS FAMILY’: HOUSE GOP REPORT

“Our thorough oversight and investigations have revealed rampant waste, fraud, abuse and mismanagement in the Biden-Harris Administration, and we’ve provided the transparency and accountability the American people demand,” Comer said.

The report included the committee’s latest Secret Service oversight following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at his Butler, Pennsylvania, rally in July. Then-Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned the day after she publicly testified before the committee.

“Americans cannot afford another four years of the same failed policies and incompetence,” Comer told Fox News Digital.

“Vice President Kamala Harris has been an active participant in the worst administration in U.S. history that has inflicted untold harm on the American people,” Comer continued. “We must return to pro-growth, America-first policies to restore prosperity, liberty, and security for the American people.”

During the 118th Congress, the House Oversight Committee held 135 hearings, sent more than 600 investigative letters, issued 51 subpoenas, heard testimony from 112 government witnesses and saw 23 bills passed in the House — with three signed into law.

The committee investigated the Biden family’s business dealings, finding that from 2014 to the present, Biden family members and their associates received more than $27 million from foreign individuals or entities. The committee claimed that the family set up shell companies to conceal the payments from scrutiny.

The White House previously ripped the investigation as an “evidence-free, politically-motivated” probe.

Comer also co-led the impeachment inquiry into President Biden. Comer’s Oversight Committee led the inquiry after its monthslong investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings, alongside the House Judiciary Committee and House Ways & Means Committee.

The committees concluded that Biden engaged in “impeachable conduct, “abused his office” and “defrauded the United States to enrich his family.”

TAXPAYERS LOST MORE THAN $100B TO COVID UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE FRAUD, COMMITTEE FINDS

“We also exposed Joe Biden’s corruption at the highest levels of government as he actively participated in his family’s influence peddling racket that made the Bidens millions from Chinese, Russian and other foreign entities,” Comer told Fox News Digital.

From those investigations, Comer, Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith sent criminal referrals to the Justice Department recommending Hunter Biden and James Biden be charged with making false statements to Congress about key aspects of the impeachment inquiry.

The White House discounted the committee’s investigations, calling the impeachment inquiry a “failed stunt” that “will only be remembered for how it became an embarrassment that their own members distanced themselves from as they only managed to turn up evidence that refuted their false and baseless conspiracy theories.”

Following the investigation, Comer introduced the bipartisan Presidential Ethics Reform Act — a bill requiring presidents and vice presidents to disclose conflicts of interest while in office and disclose foreign payments, expensive gifts, loan transactions and tax returns during the two-year period prior to taking office, time in office, and for two years after leaving office. That bill also required presidents and vice presidents to make disclosures for immediate family members who receive foreign payments and other gifts, or who use official travel for personal business.

HOUSE OVERSIGHT INVESTIGATING WALZ OVER ‘LONGSTANDING CONNECTIONS’ TO CHINA

Regarding its oversight of the Biden-Harris administration’s border crisis, Comer said the committee found there have been more than 8 million illegal immigrants encountered entering the country and over 1.9 million gotaways — illegal immigrants who avoided agents but were detected by other forms of surveillance — since they took office.

As for China, Comer sent letters to 25 federal agencies to investigate whether officials were aware of CCP outreach to the American public. The committee held briefings with 23 federal agencies revealing “there is no cohesive, government-wide strategy to identify, deter, and defeat CCP political warfare.”

The committee also found that American taxpayers lost more than $100 billion to fraud and improper payments as a result of temporary unemployment insurance programs created in response to COVID-19.

The committee also investigated Biden-Harris administration officials implementing a “radical environmental agenda” that Comer said is “jeopardizing jobs, energy security, and national security.”

SECRET SERVICE DIRECTOR CHEATLE RESIGNS AFTER MOUNTING PRESSURE IN WAKE OF TRUMP ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT

Meanwhile, after the July 13 assassination attempt against Trump, Comer launched an oversight investigation into the U.S. Secret Service, acting “quickly” to investigate the “historic failure and prevent a similar incident from happening again in the future.”

Comer held an immediate hearing with Cheatle, who testified publicly about the egregious security lapses that led to the assassination attempt of Trump and the murder of an innocent attendee, Corey Comperatore.

Cheatle resigned the following day.

Most recently, Comer launched an investigation into Harris’ running-mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, for alleged connections to the CCP.

Comer said the committee’s “effective, targeted oversight has led to transparency, accountability, and solutions for the American people.”

Scandal-plagued ‘super mayor’ announces her future political plans

Tiffany Henyard, the scandal-plagued Democratic mayor of Dolton, Illinois, announced that she will run for a second term.

“Attention Attention Attention Attention,” Henyard wrote in a Facebook post. “I am running for Reelection for Mayor of Dolton.”

She was first elected mayor of Dolton, a south suburb of Chicago, in 2021 after serving two terms as trustee on the village’s board. She won the election in a landslide – receiving more than 80% of the vote.

Henyard, who self-anointed herself as “super mayor,” was dubbed by residents as “the worst mayor in America.” She earned the nickname after her term was plagued with controversy, including money mismanagement.

CONTROVERSIAL MAYOR DEFIES BOARD, SAYS SHE ‘CLEANED UP’ TOWN DESPITE TURNING BALANCE SHEET RED

Her reelection announcement came as she’s heading a lawsuit against several village trustees, the Dolton Park District, the village clerk, and the village administrator.

The legal dispute stems from a previous controversial village board meeting, which Henyard alleges violated procedures.

DEMOCRATIC MAYOR ACCUSED OF ANTICS SO WILD SHE DESERVES HER OWN TV SHOW: ‘REAL LIFE PARKS & REC SITUATION’

Henyard’s alleged misuse of taxpayer funds made national headlines after former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot previously investigated her for her extravagant spending habits.

Lightfoot’s investigation into the town’s financial situation revealed in a preliminary report that Dolton’s general fund balance was $5.61 million in 2022, but by May 2024 the balance had dropped to a deficit of $3.65 million.

Lightfoot also disclosed that Henyard used the village credit card to make purchases at Amazon, Target, Walgreens, Wayfair and other retailers. One jaw-dropping statement revealed that the embattled mayor had dropped $33,000 on Jan. 5, 2023, on Amazon.

Henyard also threw extravagant parties – all on the taxpayers’ dime. One party cost taxpayers approximately $85,000 to throw a party that featured R&B singer Keke Wyatt and rapper J. Holiday.

Despite the ongoing challenges, Henyard remains confident in her leadership.
