White House blasts judge for attempting to halt deportation flights to El Salvador
The White House criticized a federal judge’s attempt to halt the Trump administration’s recent deportation flights, a move that was deemed “too late” by the Central American leader who accepted the deportations over the weekend.
On Friday, President Donald Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which allows deportation of natives and citizens of an enemy nation without a hearing. The act had only been successfully invoked three times in U.S. history: during the War of 1812, World War I and World War II.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg recently ordered an immediate stop to the deportations in order to determine whether Trump’s invocation of the 1798 act was legal – but a Trump administration official told Fox News that the planes carrying the migrants had already left U.S. airspace when the judge issued his order.
In a statement to Fox News on Sunday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the Trump administration “did not ‘refuse to comply’ with a court order.”
EL SALVADOR AGREES TO ACCEPT US DEPORTEES OF ANY NATIONALITY FOLLOWING MEETING WITH RUBIO
“The order, which had no lawful basis, was issued after terrorist [Tren de Aragua] aliens had already been removed from U.S. territory,” Leavitt said. “The written order and the Administration’s actions do not conflict.”
“Moreover, as the Supreme Court has repeatedly made clear – federal courts generally have no jurisdiction over the President’s conduct of foreign affairs, his authorities under the Alien Enemies Act, and his core Article II powers to remove foreign alien terrorists from U.S. soil and repel a declared invasion,” Leavitt added. “A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movements of an aircraft carrier full of foreign alien terrorists who were physically expelled from U.S. soil.”
RUBIO HEADS TO PANAMA, LATIN AMERICA TO PURSUE TRUMP’S ‘GOLDEN AGE’ AGENDA
On Sunday, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele responded to Boasberg’s order by joking, “Oopsie… too late,” in an X post. He also shared footage of heavily-armed Salvadorean authorities escorting the alleged gang members off the planes, shaving their heads and rounding them up in their prison cells.
A total of 261 illegal aliens were deported from the U.S. to El Salvador yesterday – 137 of which were through the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, 101 others were Venezuelans removed via Title 8 and another 21 were Salvadoran MS-13 gang members. Two others were MS-13 ringleaders and “special cases” for El Salvador.
A senior Trump administration official confirmed the numbers to Fox News on Sunday, explaining that the migrants’ alleged crimes included kidnapping, sexual abuse of a child, aggravated assault, prostitution, robbery and aggravated assault of a police officer.
On Sunday night, Vice President JD Vance voiced support for the deportations.

Tesla owner ‘speechless’ after Musk-hater finger-traces disturbing image on car
A New York man who reportedly caught another man drawing a swastika on his Cybertruck right in front of a New York Post reporter and photographer who documented the arrest was stunned to learn the suspect, like him, was Jewish.
The suspect, identified as Michael Lewis, 42, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated harassment and later released, according to his attorney, Mark Luccarelli.
The Cybertruck’s owner, Avi Ben Hamo, allegedly saw Lewis double park his Subaru, carrying two car seats in the back, and draw the symbol on the driver’s side door.
TESLA VEHICLES, CHARGING STATIONS TARGETED AS PROTESTERS DENOUNCE DOGE, ELON MUSK
“I feel myself burning inside,” Ben Hamo told the Post.
Lewis got back in his car and tried to speed off before being confronted by Hamo, who blocked the dramatic exit.
“What are you doing?” Hamo is seen on video asking Lewis.
As Hamo called police, Lewis took off running, leaving his car in the bike lane, the Post reported.
When Lewis came back later to get his car, which was left abandoned on Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights, he was greeted by four police officers, along with a Post reporter and photographer.
He was handcuffed and arrested on suspicion, according to the report.
ELON MUSK PROTESTS TO TARGET LAWMAKERS, TESLA DEALERSHIPS AS PROGRESSIVES DECRY ‘EXTREMIST CUTS’
Luccarelli told Fox News’ Digital on Sunday the symbol was traced in the dust on the Cybertruck and no damage was done to the vehicle.
“Our client, who is also Jewish, deeply regrets touching the other man’s car and using a hate symbol in the message,” Luccarelli. “He was dealing with a host of personal issues at the time and the action was out of character. As to the criminal case, he was released from custody without any charges because no damage was done to the vehicle and no crime was committed.”
Teslas, Tesla dealerships and charging stations around the country have been targeted by liberals angry at the company’s founder, Elon Musk, for working with President Donald Trump. But Hamo said he couldn’t fathom someone using the Nazi symbol to make their point, especially someone who shares his faith.
“People hating Elon Musk is one thing, but to do something like this is next level,” Hamo told the Post after the incident. “I’m speechless. That’s just wrong. … I don’t understand how someone thinks because I bought a car it gives them the authorization to do this.”
Musk’s involvement with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is tasked with cutting wasteful government spending, has been criticized by leftists since its creation in January.
An Oregon Tesla dealership was shot up this month, damaging multiple cars and shattering windows. A second Oregon Tesla dealership was damaged after a man threw Molotov cocktails at the business.
In Massachusetts, several Tesla charging stations were set on fire.
The events come amid a string of apparent protests against Musk and DOGE.
Indivisible, an organization founded by former Democratic congressional staffers, previously urged liberals to protest Musk’s actions, going so far as providing a “tool kit” with recommendations on how to “take the fight to Elon.”
The manual provides steps for planning and executing demonstrations at Tesla dealerships, showrooms and factories.

Liberal network host declares she’s leaving the Democratic Party in revolt, can’t be stopped
MSNBC’s “The Weekend” unloaded on Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., on Saturday over his support for the bill that keeps the government open and avoids a shutdown — calling the move a stain and a “black mark” on his leadership.
MSNBC host Michael Steele asked his panel, “What are Republicans thinking right now about their ability to absolutely punk Schumer into making this move the way he did, when he knew that that’s not where his party was?”
Schumer supported the bill on Friday despite his numerous disagreements with the House-passed stopgap spending bill, arguing that a government shutdown would be a “gift” to President Donald Trump.
“The reality here is there was no message, no strategy, and, at the end of the day, no leadership. And this is really a black mark, I think, on Chuck Schumer,” former Democratic lawmaker Donna Edwards, who is now an MSNBC analyst, said. “You cannot signal on Wednesday that you want to fight, and then on Thursday, you cave. And so now Republicans know that all they have to do is play Democrats, and it will work.”
DEM HEARD SCREAMING AT COLLEAGUES DESPITE SCHUMER’S UNITY CLAIM AS SHUTDOWN LOOMS
“I’m pissed,” MSNBC host Symone Sanders Townsend said, referring to the contents of the spending bill. “There’s actually little that the Senate Minority Leader can say, and the 10 Democrats that voted with the Republicans can say, to appease somebody like me. I’m going to change my registration to Independent.”
A government shutdown was averted on Friday just before the deadline. Senators voted 54-46 to pass the stopgap spending bill, which only needed 51 votes to be approved. Nearly all Republicans backed the measure. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., voted against the bill along with nearly all the Democrats, except Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., and Independent Sen. Angus King of Maine.
Townsend went on to read an excerpt from journalist Rebecca Traister’s Substack, which argued that the same Democratic politicians who were sounding the alarm on Trump being a threat to democracy were “questioning whether or not to stand up to him and his party.”
“There’s not another option for Senate Democrats or House Democrats to effectively push back. This was it. They blew it. The Democratic Tea Party was born the same day that Chuck Schumer took to that podium to read that very well-crafted statement that told us he folded like a paper napkin,” Townsend continued.

MSNBC’s Alicia Menendez said that members of the Democratic caucus were privately encouraging Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., to primary Schumer.
“Anyone can primary him,” Townsend added, reacting to Menendez’s statement. “Anyone.”
Schumer was also criticized by some of his fellow Democratic colleagues, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, who said Schumer’s argument that a shutdown would have presented worse consequences was “absolutely wrong.”
Crockett appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday. When asked if Senate Democrats should replace Schumer, Crockett responded, “I think Senate Democrats have to sit down and take a look and decide whether or not Chuck Schumer is the one to lead in this moment.”
Schumer called Republican lawmakers “b—–ds” during an MSNBC interview on Friday, explaining his support.

“It’s much, much better not to be in the middle of a shutdown, which [would] divert people from the number one issue we have against these b—–ds,” Schumer said. “Sorry, these people.”
Trumps takes jab at Biden after report raises alarm on who was running country during his term
President Donald Trump trolled former President Joe Biden in a social media post on Sunday, highlighting the controversy surrounding his alleged “autopen signatures” during his presidency.
On Truth Social, Trump posted three images side-by-side – his official portrait from his first term, a picture of Biden’s autopen and then finally his official portrait for his second term.
Trump then pinned the post.
“The person who was the real President during the Biden years was the person who controlled the Autopen!” Trump wrote in another post on his account.
BIDEN’S ‘AUTOPEN SIGNATURE’ APPEARS ON MOST OFFICIAL DOCS, RAISING CONCERNS OVER WHO CONTROLLED THE WH: REPORT
Trump spoke about the autopen signature issue while speaking from the Oval Office on Friday about NATO spending.
“The man was grossly incompetent. All you have to do is take a look, he signs by autopen. Who was signing all this stuff by autopen? Who would think to sign important documents by autopen?” Trump asked reporters.
“These are major documents you’re signing, you’re proud to sign, yet you have your signature on something and in 300 years, they say ‘oh look.’ Can you imagine everything was signing by autopen? Almost everything. Nobody has ever heard of such a thing. It should have never happened,” Trump continued.
The post sparked a firestorm on social media with many backing Trump as Democrats have faced backlash over accusations that they dismissed Biden’s health concerns and engaged in a cover-up throughout the end of his term.
“President Trump JUST POSTED the AUTOPEN that ran the White House from 2021-2025 next to his portraits,” one X user commented.
LIES ABOUT BIDEN’S AGE, HEALTH DURING HIS PRESIDENCY IS A ‘SCANDAL OF EPIC PROPORTIONS,’ SCOTT JENNINGS SAYS
“Biden was an illegitimate president. Who controlled the auto pen?” another X used commented.
Vice President JD Vance also shared the image on X without any comment.
“Corrupt establishment was running the country from 2021-2025. Who controlled the auto pen for Biden?” Missouri Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger commented, sharing Vance’s post.
Elon Musk also chimed in on the photo, posting on X, with two emojis – a bullseye and laughing face.
Fox News Digital reached out to Biden’s team about Trump’s post featuring the autopen image, but did not receive a response.
In a new report published by an arm of the Heritage Foundation, it was revealed that the majority of official documents signed by Biden allegedly used the same autopen signature, reinvigorating concerns over the former president’s mental acuity and if he “actually ordered the signature of relevant legal documents.”
“WHOEVER CONTROLLED THE AUTOPEN CONTROLLED THE PRESIDENCY,” the Oversight Project, which is an initiative within the conservative Heritage Foundation that investigates the government to bolster transparency, posted to X on Thursday.
CHUCK SCHUMER CONFRONTED WITH OLD CLIP OF HIMSELF DECLARING BIDEN’S DECLINE ‘RIGHT-WING PROPAGANDA’
“We gathered every document we could find with Biden’s signature over the course of his presidency. All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year. Here is the autopen signature,” the group claimed on X, accompanied by photo examples.
The Oversight Project posted three examples showing Biden’s signature, including two executive orders and the president’s announcement he was bowing out of the 2024 presidential race. The signature on the two executive orders, one of which was signed in 2022 and the other in 2024, showed the same signature that included what appeared to be a line, followed by “R. Biden Jr.”
Fox News Digital reached out to Biden’s office for comment on the Oversight Project’s findings on the autopen investigation, but did not immediately receive a reply.

Fox News Digital also examined the signatures on President Donald Trump’s executive orders, which are often signed in public or in front of the media, during his first administration and second administration and found the signatures were also the same.
The Oversight Project continued in its findings that investigators should determine “who controlled the autopen” during the Biden administration.
Dentist with glowing reviews in wealthy coastal enclave accused of carrying out evil act
A dentist practicing in St. Simons Island, Georgia, is accused of fatally shooting her boyfriend in a home in Gainesville, a suburban town northeast of Atlanta.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office has charged Suzanne Renee Mericle, 61, with murder, tampering with evidence, aggravated assault against a spouse or family member, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, obstruction or resisting, driving under the influence and a traffic-related charge.
Authorities with the sheriff’s office initially responded to a home off of Bayridge Drive in Gainesville at approximately 1:15 a.m. on March 8.
Deputies located an unresponsive man, later identified as 68-year-old David Barron, in a bedroom. He had been shot in the torso, according to the sheriff’s office.

Missing American girl found in Mexico alive 25 years after police located her, did nothing
Connecticut police have located a New Haven girl — now a woman — who went missing 25 years ago, when she was just 2 years old.
Andrea Reyes, 27, was abducted in October 1999 by her non-custodial, biological mother, Rosa Tenorio, who brought her to Mexico.
“Thank you for sharing in our joy in finding our daughter Andrea. After 25 years, God has answered our prayers and blessed us with a chance to know her again,” Andrea’s stepmother said in an emotional statement during a March 12 press conference with the New Haven Police Department. “We recognize that this reacquaintance will have challenges, however, we are confident that God is building the path before us and leading our steps.”
Andrea’s father went on several trips to Mexico himself over the years to find his daughter, police said during the press conference.
MAN DESCRIBES SHOCKING LIVING CONDITIONS HE ENDURED DURING 20-YEAR HOME CAPTIVITY: ‘UNIMAGINABLE’
Andrea’s father and stepmother thanked law enforcement and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Her stepmother also said DNA technology helped law enforcement develop a lead that ultimately led them to Andrea, who currently lives in Mexico.
She added that they “do not lose sight for those families waiting for their loved ones to be found.”
“We keep you in our prayers, hoping for the day that you, too, can be reunited with your loved ones,” Andrea’s stepmother said. “As we establish new connections over these days and months, we ask for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We hope that our good news will one day be your good news.”
CONNECTICUT TO AWARD NEARLY $6M TO FAMILY OF DISABLED MAN WRONGFULLY IMPRISONED FOR MURDER CONVICTION
Mexican authorities apparently identified Reyes and her mother in 2000, but “it was advised that the Government of Mexico would not take further action to remove Andrea from her mother,” New Haven PD Sgt. John Moore said during the press conference.
Andrea apparently contacted the man she believed to be her father in 2023, when Det. Kealyn Nivakoff with the New Haven Police Department began to re-investigate the case. To confirm her identity, New Haven police partnered with forensic genetic genealogy research company Othram, which ultimately confirmed a father-daughter relationship between Andrea and her father.
BIDEN CLEMENCY FOR ‘NON-VIOLENT’ INMATES INCLUDES CONNECTICUT CHILD KILLER
Family abductions are the second-most common type of child abduction in the United States, according to NCMEC.
In 2023, NCMEC received 1,185 family abduction cases and 59% of all AMBER Alerts that were issued were for family abductions.

“One of the biggest misconceptions about family abduction cases is that the children are safe and ‘not really missing’ because they’re with a parent,” Angeline Hartmann, director of communications at NCMEC, said in a statement. “At NCMEC, we know that there is a lot of emotion behind these cases, and these scenarios can be unpredictable and dangerous. These children ARE missing and living a life on the run with their kidnapper. They’re forced to lie about who they are and are often isolated. The recent recoveries of Andrea Reyes and Aziz Khan remind everyone that these kids can be found, no matter how long they’ve been gone.”
An arrest warrant for Tenorio remains active.
NCAA Tournament bid leads to social media backlash: ‘How did this even happen?’
Perhaps the biggest shock after the 2025 NCAA Tournament men’s basketball bracket was revealed on Sunday was seeing the North Carolina Tar Heels as one of the “First Four” teams that will play San Diego State to determine who will be the No. 11 in the South Region.
There’s a large contingent that isn’t too happy with that decision by the selection committee.
Social media erupted with backlash after the Tar Heels were named as the last team of 68 to make it in, and there’s some backing to that vitriol.
CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM
UNC, despite the program’s historic pedigree, was just 1-12 in Quadrant 1 games, which the selection committee determines as a game against a team that is ranked in the top 30 of the NET (the NCAA’s evaluation tool) at home, against a team ranked 1-50 on a neutral court, and 1-75 in away contests.
Bubba Cunningham, the Tar Heels athletic director who also happens to be the chair of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, explained the process that went into UNC making it in.
“Obviously, I’m going to defer that to [vice committee chair] Keith [Gill],” Cunningham responded after being asked about UNC getting in and how it wasn’t a conflict of interest. “But all the policies and procedures were followed. And Keith can address exactly how North Carolina was discussed because I was not in the room for any of that.”
NCAA TOURNAMENT BRACKET REVEALED: AUBURN NAMED NO 1 OVERALL SEED AS 68 TEAMS VIE FOR NATIONAL TITLE
Gill responded, “Our policies require the AD of any school to recuse themselves and actually leave the room for those discussions. And they’re not allowed to participate in any vote as well. … We voted in four teams in the field on Saturday night, and we had a contingency vote.
“The contingency vote, that was the last team in the field. And it was based on Memphis-UAB. If Memphis won that game, then that was going to free up a spot in the tournament and that was going to be North Carolina.”
Despite the responses about why UNC got in, social media commenters wasted no time reacting when seeing the Tar Heels’ decision.
“Maybe the worst team ever to get an at-large bid,” one commenter on X said.
Another added, “How did this even happen??”
“1-12 vs Q1,” one explained. “NC State was the highest NET team ever left out in 2019 with a net of 33. The reason was a 3-9 Q1 record.”
It wasn’t entirely backlash, though, as some brought up the Tar Heels’ recent games against some of the best teams in the country.
“Like it or not, the Tarheels over the last month are amongst the Top 30-40 teams in the country just based off current form,” one commenter said. “If you want the maximum quality in the tourney, it’s a no brainer.”
Another added, “Why is anyone upset about UNC having to play into the NCAA Tournament? They were 33rd in [KenPom ratings] and 36th in NET. Their Quad 1 losses include, Kansas, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan St, and Duke, with many coming down to the wire. UNC deserved to get in.”
UNC finished 22-13 overall and 13-7 in ACC play while winning two games in the ACC Tournament before being bounced by the No. 1-seeded Duke Blue Devils in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, teams like Indiana, West Virginia, Boise State and UC Irvine – all of which were on the bubble – didn’t get in despite having competitive resumes.
Each year, teams on the bubble are heartbroken when their name isn’t called during the selection show. It’s an unfortunate part of the game, but ultimately, the decision is final.
The Tar Heels will play the Aztecs on Tuesday night to determine who will be the No. 11 seed facing off against No. 6 Ole Miss in the South Region.
Mel Gibson praises ‘topnotch’ alternative to Hollywood as liberal haven struggles
Mel Gibson, who just directed Mark Wahlberg in the thriller “Flight Risk,” is eager to return to Las Vegas for another film.
“Mark Wahlberg is an industrious guy and great to work with. The production experience in Vegas was topnotch,” the “Lethal Weapon” star told the Las Vegas Review-Journal over the weekend. “I am certain Vegas will accommodate Mark in a big way. I look forward to coming back for big-budget movies.”
The “Braveheart” star and Wahlberg have also worked together in the past on 2022’s “Father Stu” and “Daddy’s Home 2.” He played Wahlberg’s dad in both movies.
Gibson is one of three Hollywood icons – along with Jon Voight and Sylvester Stallone – whom President Trump in January named as special ambassadors to Hollywood.
MEL GIBSON ON CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES: ‘EVERYONE IS PUTTING ON A BRAVE FACE’
“They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!” Trump wrote at the time.
Gibson told Sean Hannity in January that he found out he had been appointed a Hollywood ambassador when Trump posted about it, but he is “ready, willing and able to be of service in any way I can.”
The “Pocahontas” actor said that tax incentives to shoot projects in California haven’t been enough to keep the Golden State competitive.

“I had to shoot a film for one day in L.A., and it was cheaper for me to take the whole crew and fly them to Europe and shoot for three days, lodge them, fly them, everything, than it was to shoot one day just down the road,” Gibson explained. “So, there’s something really wrong there.”
Gibson noted that former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger “tried to level the playing field years ago, he couldn’t do it because there were obstacles.”
Hannity noted that many stars have left the state, asking why Gibson has decided to stay in Malibu.
“A lot of people have left, and I don’t blame them,” he agreed with Hannity. “It didn’t suit them anymore. Even people who were liberal, it didn’t suit them anymore, but if everybody leaves, what’s going to happen?”
When Hannity asked what his message would be to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass as a Hollywood ambassador, he said, “Keep the kids on the farm. Be competitive with the rest of the world. . . . We’re going somewhere else because it’s just more cost-effective. There’s just a lot of prohibitive regulations and things in the way I think could be lifted.”
“I’ll talk with the guys about that later and get more specific,” Gibson said of Voight and Stallone. “And I have to educate myself more on that, too. But, I think it can be fixed.”
Although Gibson still lives in California, Wahlberg moved his family to Nevada three years ago and has talked about making the state “Hollywood 2.0.”
MEL GIBSON DOESN’T ‘BLAME’ CELEBRITIES FLEEING HOLLYWOOD BUT VOWS TO’ FIX’ AS TRUMP’S AMBASSADOR
The “Shooter” actor is supporting Nevada bill 238, which would bring a movie studio to Summerlin, Nevada, just outside Las Vegas, in a partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Warner Bros, according to the Review-Journal.
“We’re looking to create 10,000 jobs on the studio alone. The average salary would be $100,000 more than it is now,” Wahlberg told Fox News Digital in 2023. “We want to train people both in front of and behind the camera, create jobs, first and foremost for locals, and then after that I think we can attract a lot of people.”

In 2022, Wahlberg told “The Talk,” “I moved to Nevada where, after this gubernatorial election, hopefully it will go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get a tax credit for the state — build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0.”
