Dems who decried domestic terrorism change tune while Tesla torchers are charged
Attorney General Pam Bondi on Tuesday labeled the violent streak of vandalism against Tesla vehicles and showrooms as “domestic terrorism” — an issue Democrats have rallied against for years. Fox News Digital asked 13 Democrats who sponsored legislation to combat domestic terrorism if they agreed with Bondi’s distinction. None of the lawmakers responded.
The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the ongoing Tesla attacks across the U.S. From Oregon to Massachusetts, Tesla cars and facilities have been vandalized in at least seven locations. What began as protests against Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have escalated into violent incidents, including shots fired at a building, destroyed dealership windows and charging stations set on fire.
Former President Joe Biden’s administration launched the first-ever National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism in 2021, identifying domestic terrorism as a major national security threat, particularly in the aftermath of the U.S. Capitol attacks on Jan. 6. Congressional Democrats led their own legislative efforts to combat domestic terrorism during the Biden administration.
Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and 10 Senate Democrats introduced the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2023, which was designed to enhance the government’s ability to prevent domestic terrorism. The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022 also targeted domestic terrorism, with a focus on combating “white supremacist and neo-Nazi infiltration.”
SUSPECTED TESLA ARSONISTS HIT WITH FEDERAL CHARGES IN ACTS OF ‘DOMESTIC TERRORISM’: AG
Despite Democrats leading activism against domestic terrorism during the Biden administration, the Democratic response to the ongoing Tesla attacks has been noticeably silent. One Democrat, Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., urged his colleagues to condemn the Tesla vandalism in an X post last week.
ELON MUSK IN ‘SHOCK’ OVER DEMS’ ALLEGED ‘HATRED AND VIOLENCE,’ LAMENTS ‘DERANGED’ ATTACKS ON TESLA PLANTS
“There is zero tolerance for acts of vandalism against Tesla. Spraying the words “nazi cars” or lighting fire to dealership and chargers is wrong. Period. All Democrats should condemn it,” he said.
While now refusing to condemn Tesla vandalism, Democrats have not missed an opportunity to vocalize their opposition to domestic terrorism in the past.
“As I have said on many occasions, I condemn all violence, regardless of ideology,” Durbin said in 2023 while urging colleagues to support the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act.
“We have to act decisively to address the poison of white supremacy and domestic terrorism in America. It’s a poison, it’s a cancer, it’s destroying our society. It shouldn’t be a partisan issue. It’s not a Democratic issue or Republican issue, dealing with the crisis of violent white supremacy. It is an American issue,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said in 2022.
‘DOMESTIC TERRORISM’ HITS TESLA DRIVERS, DEALERS AS FORMER FBI FIELD BOSS WARNS IT COULD GET WORSE
“We are deeply concerned about the financing of domestic violent extremist activities in the U.S.,” Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif.; former Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio; and former Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J., said in 2022 while calling for a review into how domestic extremists are funded.
Waters is yet to call for an investigation into how Tesla protests are being funded as many conservatives are pointing the finger at liberal activist groups, including Musk, who recently blamed left-wing billionaire George Soros, billionaire Democratic mega-donor and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and others, claiming they are bankrolling the destructive “protests.”
In 2021, Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said in a Facebook post, “Domestic terrorism is one of the gravest threats to America.”
“When violence fueled by homegrown, hateful ideology poses a more immediate threat to the safety and security of Americans on American soil than an international terrorist organization, it’s time for our laws to catch up,” Schiff said in 2019.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., said last summer following the first assassination attempt on President Donald Trump that “all political violence” should be condemned, adding she was the victim of political violence herself.
Following the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on X: “We must do more to fight terrorism at home and abroad.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D-N.Y., demanded accountability in 2022 for those who perpetrate White supremacy, which is considered a form of domestic terrorism.
“White supremacy has cost countless lives from El Paso to Mother Emanuel and now Buffalo. Our hearts break for the victims. And we demand accountability for those in Congress and in social media that perpetrate this deadly ideology,” she said on X after questioning Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel seemed to mock Tesla vandalism during his show on Tuesday.
“People have been vandalizing Tesla vehicles, new Tesla vehicles. Please, don’t vandalize, don’t ever vandalize Tesla vehicles,” Kimmel said, pausing and looking into the camera for a dramatic pause as the audience laughed.
A conservative social media account posted the clip and said: “Jimmy Kimmel wants more Tesla attacks.”
“He’s such an unfunny jerk,” Musk replied to the post.
Bondi on Tuesday said that the Tesla attacks are “nothing short of domestic terrorism” and the Department of Justice has already made several charges.
“The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism. The Department of Justice has already charged several perpetrators with that in mind, including in cases that involve charges with five-year mandatory minimum sentences. We will continue investigations that impose severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes,” Bondi said in a statement.
10 PLACES WHERE TESLA VEHICLES, DEALERSHIPS WERE ATTACKED THIS YEAR
While no serious injuries have been reported, anti-Musk cyberattackers posted an interactive map of Tesla owners’ names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mails. Bondi told Fox News’ Will Cain on Wednesday that the Justice Department believes the attacks are part of an organized effort.
“We are coming after you,” Bondi said on “The Will Cain Show.” “We believe these are organizers, and these are not individuals out there throughout the country doing this on their own. They’re targeting Tesla owners. They’re targeting Tesla dealerships. They’re targeting Elon Musk, who is out there trying to save our country. And it will not be tolerated. We are coming after you. We will find you. And if you are an organized group who is funding this, we’re going to find you, too. You better look out, and you better stop it.”
Violence against Tesla car owners and facilities has skyrocketed over the past few weeks, as anti-Elon Musk protesters continue to vandalize and destroy electric vehicles in a violent string of crimes against the Trump ally’s company.
Videos circulating on social media show footage of individuals spitting on, keying or setting ablaze Tesla vehicles across the country. “Smile, you’re on camera,” Tesla wrote Thursday in a post on X, revealing that there are “at least 7 cameras all around each of our cars” capturing the crime.
One victim, Avi Ben Hamo, a Jewish man from New York, recently called for hate crime charges against a man who he caught drawing a Nazi symbol on his Cybertruck.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt denounced the “heinous violence” against Tesla and called on Democrats to condemn the attacks.

“Democrats were big supporters of Tesla and of electric vehicles until Elon Musk decided to vote for Donald Trump. So we would like Democrats to also come out and condemn this heinous violence that we have seen,” Leavitt said during a press briefing on Wednesday. “And I believe the attorney general has said she’s investigating these incidents as acts of domestic terrorism.”
Three individuals were charged in federal cases after they used Molotov cocktails to violently attack Tesla properties around the country in acts of “domestic terrorism,” Bondi announced Thursday.
“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Bondi said. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
State’s universities cave to Trump on trans athletes after admin pauses funding
The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Wednesday that the University of Maine System (UMS) has agreed to comply with President Donald Trump’s executive order to keep transgender athletes out of women’s sports.
UMS, a network of eight public universities in Maine, was subject to a temporary pause in funding from the USDA last week during an ongoing battle between the state and the federal government over trans inclusion in women’s and girls sports. The funding was reinstated just days later.
The USDA now claims the UMS is in full compliance with Trump’s executive order.
TRUMP ADMIN RESPONDS TO MAINE’S RELUCTANCE TO BAN TRANS ATHLETES FROM GIRLS SPORTS
“After the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) initiated a Title IX compliance review regarding federal funding, the University of Maine System (UMaine) has clearly communicated its compliance with Title IX’s requirement to protect equal opportunities for women and girls to compete in safe and fair sports, as articulated in President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order,” the USDA said in its announcement.
“Any false claim by the UMaine can, and will, result in onerous and even potentially criminal financial liability.”
UMS Chancellor Dannel Malloy provided a statement to Fox News Digital, saying the system is “relieved” to have come to an understanding with the USDA.
“The University of Maine System has always maintained its compliance with state and federal laws and with NCAA rules, which the U.S. Department of Agriculture also affirmed in a press release today,” said Chancellor Malloy.
“We are relieved to put the Department’s Title IX compliance review behind us so the land-grant University of Maine and our statewide partners can continue to leverage USDA and other essential federal funds to strengthen and grow our natural resource economy and dependent rural communities through world-class education, research and extension.”
MAINE RESPONDS TO TRUMP ADMIN’S DECLARATION STATE VIOLATED TITLE IX BY ALLOWING TRANSGENDERS IN GIRLS SPORTS
In fiscal year 2024 alone, the USDA awarded $29.78 million in funding to UMS for research, the system said. The USDA claims it has provided over $100 million to the UMS in recent years in a letter addressed to the system.
The NCAA also amended its gender eligibility policy to prohibit any athlete born biologically male from competing in women’s sports.
Trump initially vowed to cut funding to Maine specifically if it continued to allow trans athletes to compete in girls sports during a meeting of GOP governors at the White House Feb. 20.

The next day, Gov. Janet Mills’ office responded with a statement threatening legal action against the Trump administration if it withheld federal funding from the state. Then Trump and Mills verbally sparred in a widely publicized argument at the White House during a bipartisan meeting of governors.
Just hours after that interaction, the U.S. Department of Education announced it would investigate the state for allowing transgender athletes to compete in girls sports and for potential Title IX violations.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has already determined that the state and its Department of Education violated Title IX by allowing transgender athletes to compete and warned that it will make a referral to the U.S. Department of Justice if the state does not provide a written agreement to comply with Trump’s executive order.
“What HHS is asking of the Maine Department of Education, the Maine Principals’ Association (MPA) and Greely High School is simple — protect female athletes’ rights. Girls deserve girls-only sports without male competitors. And if Maine won’t come to the table to voluntarily comply with Title IX, HHS will enforce Title IX to the fullest extent permitted by the law,” OCR acting Director Anthony Archeval said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
McMahon confident Congress will abolish Education Dept as Trump takes the first step
President Donald Trump signed a long-awaited executive order Thursday at the White House to begin dismantling the Department of Education, capping a campaign promise and setting up a congressional showdown.
Trump repeatedly vowed on the 2024 campaign trail to shut down the federal agency and give school power back to the states. The Education Department, however, was created by Congress in 1979 and cannot be unilaterally shuttered by executive action. It can only officially be dismantled by an act of Congress.
Republicans maintain slim majorities in both the House and Senate. Soon after Trump signed the executive order in the East Room, Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., announced in a post on X that he would submit legislation to accomplish the president’s goal.
Secretary of Education Linda McMahon acknowledged the agency will face some hurdles in the months ahead but promised to work with Congress to get the job done.
“We’ve spent almost $3 trillion. We’ve seen our scores continue to decline. We’re doing something wrong. We need to change,” she said in an interview Thursday on “Special Report.”
“I want Congress to be a partner in this, and I believe they will be because both sides of the aisle know that what is happening to education in our country cannot be allowed to stand because we are failing our students.”
DEM AGS SUE OVER TRUMP ADMINISTRATION’S DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION LAYOFFS
Data from the National Assessment of Education Progress, commonly known as the Nation’s Report Card, shows math proficiency at 39% for 4th graders and 28% for 8th graders. Reading proficiency isn’t much better, at 31% and 30% respectively.
Democratic lawmakers released statements shortly after Trump’s executive order signing, condemning his decision.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said the move will only hurt students. “This horrible decision by Donald Trump will be felt by teachers, parents, school leaders, and in the quality of education our children receive. Across the country property taxes will go up, while the quality of many schools will go down,” he said.
DEPT OF ED SPENDING SOARED 749% DESPITE DOWNSIZING, NEW DOGE-INSPIRED INITIATIVE REVEALS
McMahon told Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier that the Trump administration wants students to improve and have more opportunities.
“We want to make education better for children. The president is an absolute proponent of school choice, and we are going to work very hard to make sure that children are not held prisoner in failing schools,” she said.
“I do think returning to basics is the best way to do it. We need to teach math and English and literacy and writing. We don’t need to teach ideology. We have to let teachers teach.”
The former WWE CEO added that she’s begun traveling across the country, meeting with governors to understand what they need moving forward to improve the education systems in their states.
“What kind of plans for best practices can we make available to you so that you can see what other states have done and done successfully? And that’s going to be the goal. Let’s make sure that we are providing as much information to our states as we can so that we can get the best outcomes,” McMahon explained.

She acknowledged she could soon be out of a job if the Education Department is gutted, but said in the meantime, she wants students to be taken care of.

War-torn country proposes minerals agreement to Trump in exchange for security
The president of the Democratic Republic of Congo sent a letter to President Donald Trump offering a minerals deal in exchange for a security agreement with the U.S. that would remove violent rebels from the war-torn nation.
“Your election has ushered in the golden age for America,” President Félix Tshisekedi wrote in February to Trump, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday. “Our partnership would provide the U.S. with a strategic advantage by securing critical minerals such as cobalt, lithium, copper and tantalum from the Democratic Republic of Congo.”
The Congo has over $20 trillion worth of minerals available, according to the Congo-based Panzi Foundation, including gold and copper. The African country is also the world’s largest producer of cobalt, which is essential for defense and aerospace applications, and a main component in the batteries of many electric vehicles and cellphones.
Tshisekedi seeks to strike a “formal security pact” so Congo’s army can defeat a Rwandan-backed rebel group called M23 in exchange for a minerals deal, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The letter did not provide details on what a potential security pact would look like or operate.
CONGO’S MINERAL OFFER TO US RAISES QUESTIONS OF OWNERSHIP AMID BLOODY CIVIL WAR, MAJOR CHINA PRESENCE
Congo “is interested in partnering with the Trump administration to end the conflict and stop the flow of blood minerals via Rwanda,” a Tshisekedi spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal.
“It is in both our interests that American companies – like Apple and Tesla – buy minerals direct from source in the DRC and unlock the engine of our mineral wealth for the benefit of all the world,” she added.
RWANDA-BACKED M23 REBELS BREACH SECOND MAJOR CITY IN CONGO’S MINERAL-RICH EAST
Congo and Rwanda are neighboring nations and have been involved in conflict for decades, including the First Congo War from 1996 to 1997, the Second Congo War between 1998 and 2003, and the most recent ongoing conflict that began in 2022. The current conflicts are rooted in gaining access to resources, such as minerals, and claims M23 will protect ethnic minorities from the Congolese government.
The rebels seized Goma – the country’s largest city of the North Kivu province – in January as fighting between the Rwanda-backed rebels and government intensified, which included the deaths of 13 U.N. peacekeepers and foreign soldiers.
WIDESPREAD KILLING, RAPE, DISEASE AND WAR MAKE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO HELL ON EARTH
Tshisekedi joined Fox News’ Bret Baier Wednesday to discuss the potential minerals deal with the U.S., explaining he wants to build jobs in his nation through the extraction of the minerals, while simultaneously building a partnership with the U.S. to ensure lasting peace in the nation.
“We want to extract these minerals but also process them, as this would create a lot of jobs,” Tshisekedi told Baier. “And we want a partnership that will provide lasting peace and stability for our countries, which we need.”
China has a large presence in Congo, and it runs the country’s cobalt mine, Fox Digital previously reported. Tshisekedi brushed off concerns that China’s presence could complicate any potential deal with the U.S. during his interview with Baier.
70 CHRISTIANS BEHEADED IN AFRICAN COUNTRY BY ISIS-ALIGNED MILITANTS, GROUPS SAY; WORLD MOSTLY SILENT
“Nature abhors a vacuum, as the saying goes,” he told Baier. “It’s not that China is waxing in Africa. It’s more that America is waning in Africa… and we would be very happy to have our American friends here, who used to be more present than China in the ‘70s and ’80s.”
Tshisekedi is also in negotiations with Erik Prince, the founder of private military firm formerly known as Blackwater and a Trump ally, to potentially aid the Congo’s government amid the war, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comment on the deal offer, but did not immediately receive a reply.
The offer comes after the Trump administration worked to strike a minerals deal with Ukraine, which is rich in resources such as lithium and copper, in an effort to recoup the cost of aid sent to Ukraine amid its war with Russia.
The deal, however, was put on ice after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy‘s tense Oval Office meeting with Trump and Vice President JD Vance in February.
What astronauts’ paychecks will look like after mission turned into 286-day ordeal
NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams arrived back on Earth on Tuesday after living in space for a longer-than-expected nine months.
The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft carrying Wilmore, Williams, fellow NASA astronaut Nick Hauge and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov — known as Crew-9 — landed in the Gulf of America near Tallahassee, Florida, with SpaceX crew quickly recovering them and the capsule safe and sound.
Crew-9’s homecoming had been ushered in by NASA and SpaceX sending a new four-person crew to replace them to the International Space Station (ISS) over the weekend.
SPACEX DRAGON CAPSULE STICKS SPLASHDOWN LANDING AS NASA ASTRONAUTS RETURN HOME AFTER MONTHS STUCK IN SPACE
Wilmore and Williams both notched 286 days in space, significantly longer than the roughly one week they were originally supposed to spend on the ISS when they arrived via Boeing’s Starliner in June of last year. Meanwhile, Hague and Gorbunov’s time in space amounted to 171 days.
With Crew-9 back on Earth and new astronauts manning the ISS, questions about how much money NASA astronauts earn while onboard the orbiting research station have arisen — and whether Wilmore and Williams could have any extra pay coming their way, given their extended stint in space.
“When NASA astronauts are aboard the International Space Station, they receive regular, 40-hour work-week salaries. They do not receive overtime or holiday/weekend pay,” a NASA spokesperson told FOX Business.
NASA astronaut salaries were over $152,000 last year, a NASA webpage indicated.
The NASA spokesperson said transportation, lodging and meals are provided for NASA astronauts as they are “on official travel orders as federal employees” while in space.
“They are also on long-term TDY (Temporary Duty), and receive the incidentals amount for each day they are in space,” the spokesperson also told FOX Business. “Incidental expenses for travel to any location is currently $5 per day.”
That incidentals rate would presumably equate to $1,430 for Wilmore and Williams.
The pair’s lengthy stay at the ISS came after NASA and Boeing ended up deciding that the Starliner that brought the pair to space would make an unmanned return to Earth in early September so that they could “continue gathering testing data” on the spacecraft while it traveled back “while also not accepting more risk than necessary for its crew,” according to NASA. Starliner had experienced “helium leaks” and “issues with the spacecraft reaction control thrusters” as it got close to the ISS during its June 2024 journey, the space agency said at the time.

Wilmore, Williams and Hague put in more than 900 hours of research while at the research station that orbits some 250 miles above Earth.
“We are thrilled to have Suni, Butch, Nick, and Aleksandr home after their months-long mission conducting vital science, technology demonstrations, and maintenance aboard the International Space Station,” NASA acting Administrator Janet Petro said in a Tuesday press release.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk reacted to Crew-9’s homecoming during an interview with Sean Hannity.
“I’m actually usually a little nervous about these returns because there’s always some risk that something could go wrong, but thanks to the excellent work of the SpaceX team working with NASA, the astronauts are now safely home,” he said.
The billionaire offered his congratulations to the SpaceX and NASA teams on their “excellent work” and gave a “huge note of appreciation to President Trump for prioritizing and expediting their return.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday said that President Donald Trump “looks forward to welcoming Butch and Suni to the Oval Office when they are recovered” from their time in space.
EXPERTS REVEAL HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE NASA ASTRONAUTS TO RECOVER AFTER NINE MONTHS STRANDED IN SPACE
Trump previously told “The Ingraham Angle” host Laura Ingraham that he wanted to meet with the astronauts after their homecoming after they had time to recuperate.
“They have to get better. It’s going to be a little bit tough for them. It’s not easy, you know they were up there for a long time, and when they do, they’ll come to the Oval Office,” he told her.
Diabetes risk lowered by eating one surprisingly sweet food, study suggests
Mangoes may be linked to lower insulin resistance, a factor involved in the prevention of diabetes, a new study published in the journal Nutrients suggests.
Researchers at the Illinois Institute of Technology examined how eating fresh mangoes affected inflammation and insulin sensitivity in overweight and obese adults with low-grade chronic inflammation, as reported by SWNS.
Then they compared this to consuming the same calorie content of Italian ice, a frozen, sweetened dessert similar to sorbet.
DISEASE STARTS ON YOUR PLATE, CARDIOLOGIST SAYS — HERE’S WHAT TO CHANGE
The study included 48 individuals between the ages of 20 and 60.
Other than eating the allotted amount of mango (two pre-portioned cups a day), the participants were instructed to maintain their normal diet and lifestyle.
The participants who ate mangoes experienced “significant” reductions in insulin resistance.
Beta-cell function, the ability of the pancreas to produce and release insulin to manage normal glucose concentrations, also significantly improved.
After four weeks, those in the mango group also had significantly lower insulin concentrations compared to the start of the study, while no changes were observed in the control group.
FRUIT AS A FOOD CHOICE COMES WITH A CAVEAT: HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH?
“Managing blood glucose isn’t just about monitoring blood sugar levels — it’s about improving insulin sensitivity,” said study leader and professor Indika Edirisinghe, as SWNS noted.
“Our study suggests that adding fresh mangoes to the diet can be a simple, enjoyable way for people who are overweight or have obesity to support better insulin function and reduce type 2 diabetes risk.”
New Jersey-based dietitian Erin Palinski-Wade, author of “2-Day Diabetes Diet,” spoke with Fox News Digital about the study’s findings.
“Mangoes can be a great addition to a diabetes meal plan, but they are not the only food that can provide these benefits,” she said, citing almonds, avocados and berries as other foods with protective benefits.
EATING ONE TYPE OF FRUIT COULD LOWER DEPRESSION RISK, STUDY SHOWS
While mangoes are rich in nutrients and provide a good source of fiber, consumers must remember that the fruit is still a carbohydrate, Palinski-Wade noted.
Carbohydrate balance throughout the day is important for blood sugar management, according to the expert.
Carbohydrate balance throughout the day is important for blood sugar management.
“Adding lean protein and good fats to the plate at the same time as consuming mango will allow you to enjoy the beneficial nutrients without worrying about a spike in blood sugar level,” she advised.
Despite eating calorically comparable foods, body composition remained stable in the mango group, while the control group experienced a slight but significant increase in body weight, the researchers found.
Markers of inflammation and glucose levels were not significantly different between the two groups at the end of the study, leading the researchers to conclude that mangoes are a “heart-healthy” swap for calorically comparable sweet treats.
“The improvement in insulin sensitivity in the mango group, without changes in body weight, is noteworthy – which counters misconceptions about mangoes’ natural sugar content and impact on obesity and diabetes,” Edirisinghe added, as reported by SWNS.

“These findings support previous research showing that eating mango does not lead to weight gain, and while the exact mechanism is still unknown, the role of improved antioxidant status from mango consumption may be the mediating factor on blood glucose control.”
Naturally occurring sugars are found in many beneficial nutrients, including fiber and antioxidants, which is why they have less of an impact on blood sugar than added sugars in foods, according to Palinski-Wade.
“However, they are still a source of carbohydrates and can raise blood sugar levels,” she cautioned. “If you add mangoes for the blood-sugar benefits, space your intake out during the day.”
“Mangoes can be a great addition to a diabetes meal plan, but they are not the only food that can provide these benefits.”
The expert called for more research to better understand the full impacts of mango on blood sugar.
“But this study, along with others, continues to show that fruit should not be off-limits with diabetes, and that recommended whole fruits, like mango, can be an effective way to enjoy sweet satisfaction while reducing added sugars in the diet and improving overall blood sugar regulation.”

The National Mango Board provided funding for this study, but “NMB had no influence over the study or its findings,” according to a press release.
Popular country charging entry fee for tourists — and it’s getting more expensive
The British government previously rolled out a requirement for travelers, implementing a fee and a digitized system.
An “lectronic Travel Authorization (ETA) has been implemented that digitizes tourists’ requests to visit the country while paying a fee.
POPULAR VACATION DESTINATION SHOOTS DOWN CONTROVERSIAL TOURIST TAX ONE DAY AFTER IT’S INTRODUCED
The fee began at around $13, but will see a hike as tourists will be forced to fork up nearly $18 starting on April 9.
There were 38 million visits to the U.K. during 2023, which was an increase of 6.7 million visits compared to 2022, according to the U.K. Office for National Statistics.
The government site says the ETA “authorizes a person to travel to the UK.”
“Everyone wishing to travel to the U.K. – except British and Irish citizens – will need permission to travel in advance of coming here,” says the United Kingdom government’s site.
The ETAs are linked to a traveler’s passport in an effort to smooth security checks and “prevent abuse” of the immigration system.
