Terrorists’ favorite nightclub busted, illegal aliens arrested, US military members detained
Federal authorities announced Sunday that more than a hundred illegal immigrants were detained in a massive raid at an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs that officials say was “frequented by TdA and MS-13 terrorists.”
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Division led a multi-agency operation early Sunday morning and arrested 114 illegal immigrants at the venue that contained more than 200 people inside.
Authorities uncovered drugs, including pink cocaine, as well as evidence of prostitution and multiple firearms during the operation, according to the DEA.
“@DHSgov has taken more than 100 illegal aliens into custody,” DEA Rocky Mountain said in a post on X on Sunday. “Drugs and weapons have also been seized at this underground nightclub in Colorado Springs.”
BLUE SANCTUARY STATE OPERATING AS ‘CONTROL’ CENTER FOR VICIOUS MIGRANT GANG: ACTING DEA CHIEF
Attorney General Pamela Bondi applauded the operation, which included 300 officials across multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
“This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists,” Bondi said in a post on X. “Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized.”
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department were also involved in the operation.
‘BRING IT ON’: SHERIFF PUSHES BACK AFTER BLUE STATE LEADERS SUE TO STOP IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT
DEA Acting Administrator Derek Maltz previously said Colorado has become “ground zero for some of the most violent criminals in America,” including Tren de Aragua’s leadership, Denver 7 reported.
One local official blamed the blue state’s leadership.
“Colorado without question has been a hub for illegal immigration due to the sanctuary policies of the city of Denver in conjunction with radical legislation (including this session) from the State Capitol affirming Colorado’s sanctuary status,” Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly told The Gazette, which first reported the story. “As the Sheriff of Douglas County I will do everything I can within Colorado law to support our federal partners. This, in turn, helps keep my community safe.”
Many of those detained in Sunday’s raid are expected to face federal immigration charges, according to DEA Rocky Mountain. At least two people were also arrested on existing warrants, Bondi said.
“#DEA partners and @DHSgov placed patrons (in the U.S. illegally) on buses for processing and likely eventual deportation,” DEA Rocky Mountain said.
About a dozen U.S. active-duty service members were also found at the club, special DEA Rocky Mountain agent Jonathan Pullen told multiple outlets. The service members were inside the club as patrons or working as armed security.
“I think that everybody that goes into a nightclub at 3 o’clock in the morning knows what they’re getting into,” Pullen told Denver 7. “The active duty servicemembers who were there will be dealt with by Army CID [Criminal Investigation Division]. They were on scene with us, and they are partners in this investigation.”
DEA Rocky Mountain confirmed to Fox News that those active duty service members found at the club have so far been detained and are not under arrest at this time.
“Colorado Springs is waking up to a safer city this Sunday morning,” Pullen said in a press briefing to local outlets.
“As we approach his 100 days in office @POTUS Trump’s directive to make America safe again is achieving results!” Bondi said on X.
Colorado Springs Chief of Police Adrian Vasquez said the department participated in the operation “solely to address criminal violations” affecting community safety and is not authorized to conduct immigration enforcement under state law.

“I want to be clear that it is the responsibility of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) to investigate criminal activity and make arrests when appropriate. This operation was the result of a months-long investigation into serious criminal activity in our community,” Vasquez said. “While the investigation is ongoing, arrests for these criminal violations are expected. CSPD is aware that our federal partners also detained multiple people for suspected immigration violations during the operation.”
Gene Hackman final autopsy released two months after actor was found dead
An official cause of death has been revealed for Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa.
According to the Office of the Medical Investigator in New Mexico, a final autopsy obtained by Fox News Digital shows that Hackman had a “history of congestive heart failure” in addition to “severe chronic hypertensive changes, kidneys.”
The legendary actor had a “bi-ventricular pacemaker” placed in April 2019, documents stated. “Neurodegenerative features consistent with Alzheimer’s Disease,” were also noted in the autopsy.
INVESTIGATORS IN GENE HACKMAN’S DEATH RELEASE FOOTAGE FROM INSIDE HOME, WIFE BETSY’S ONLINE SEARCH HISTORY
“Autopsy showed severe atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, with placement of coronary artery stents and a bypass graft, as well as a previous aortic valve replacement,” the documents stated.
“Remote myocardial infarctions were present involving the left ventricular free wall and the septum, which were significantly large. Examination of the brain showed microscopic findings of advanced stage Alzheimer’s disease.”
Hackman tested negative for Hantavirus. “Testing for carbon monoxide was less than 5% saturation, in keeping with a normal range,” the medical examiner noted.
A toxicology report found trace amounts of acetone in Hackman’s system when he died. The solvent used for chemicals is “also a product of diabetic- and fasting-induced ketoacidosis as well as a metabolite following isopropanol ingestion,” according to the report.
Hackman’s toxicology test showed acetone levels at 5.3 mg/dl, where as reported normal endogenous acetone levels in blood are up to 0.3 mg/dL.
The findings are consistent with a prolonged level of fasting.
GENE HACKMAN AND WIFE’S DEATHS CALLED ‘SUSPICIOUS,’ BODIES SHOWED SIGNS OF ‘MUMMIFICATION’
Hackman and Arakawa’s bodies were found Feb. 26 by maintenance workers Jesse Kesler and Roland Lowe Begay. Kesler, who had worked as a personal contractor for the couple for 16 years, made a frantic 911 call.
A search warrant affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital revealed that Arakawa was found decomposed with bloating on her face and mummification in her hands and feet.
Hackman was found to have the same signs of decomposition as his wife.
HOLLYWOOD STARS WHO DIED IN 2025: PHOTOS
Detectives initially described the couple’s deaths as “suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation,” according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital.
Officials confirmed that no external trauma was seen on either Hackman or Arakawa, and New Mexico authorities promptly launched a criminal investigation into their deaths.
LISTEN: GENE HACKMAN 911 CALL
Through a search of Arakawa’s computer, investigators discovered that she had researched COVID-19 and flu-like symptoms multiple times before she died. Investigators recovered an email Arakawa sent to her massage therapist on Feb. 11 in which she admitted Hackman took a “covid test” after experiencing “flu/cold-like symptoms.”
Prior to her email, Arakawa had researched “COVID” at least four times between Feb. 8 and 11 before pursuing medical attention at the Cloudberry Health center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, documents showed.
“This data suggests that Betsy was actively researching medical conditions related to COVID-19 and flu-like symptoms in the days leading up to her death,” the report stated.

Arakawa died due to hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, which is transmitted from animals to humans and is commonly found in rodents, the New Mexico Department of Health confirmed.
Hantavirus is characterized by “flu-like symptoms consisting of fever, muscle aches, cough, sometimes vomiting and diarrhea that can progress to shortness of breath and cardiac or heart failure and lung failure,” Chief Medical Investigator Dr. Heather Jarrell explained during a news conference last month.
Hackman was 95 at the time of his death, and his wife was 63.
Shedeur Sanders NFL draft prank call controversy yields stunning new development
The son of an Atlanta Falcons coach owned up to a prank call to Shedeur Sanders during the NFL Draft as the quarterback slid from a first-round projection to the fifth round.
Jax Ulbrich, the son of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, posted a statement on his Instagram account, apologizing to the former Colorado Buffaloes star.

“On Friday night, I made a tremendous mistake,” the post read. “Shedeur, what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing, and shameful. I’m so sorry I took away from your moment, it was childish and selfish.
“I could never imagine getting ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life and I made a terrible mistake and messed up with that moment. Thank you for accepting my call earlier today, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
The NFL confirmed to Fox News Digital earlier on Sunday that the league had launched a probe into the call.
The Falcons said that Jax Ulbrich had written the phone number down off of an iPad that had been left out in the open at his parents’ house.
“Earlier in the week, Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, unintentionally came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad while visiting his parents’ home and wrote the number down to later conduct a prank call. Jeff Ulbrich was unaware of the data exposure or any facets of the prank and was made aware of the above only after the fact,” the team said.
“The Atlanta Falcons do not condone this behavior and send our sincere apologies to Shedeur Sanders and his family, who we have been in contact with to apologize to, as well as facilitate an apology directly from Jax to the Sanders family.
SHEDEUR SANDERS’ NFL DRAFT FALL IGNITES FIERY DEBATE BETWEEN ESPN BROADCASTERS
“We have also been in contact with the NFL and will continue to cooperate fully with any inquiries we may receive from the NFL league office. We are thoroughly reviewing all protocols, and updating if necessary, to help prevent an incident like this from happening again.”
Sanders was subjected to at least two prank calls during the draft.
The Browns eventually selected Sanders with the No. 144 overall pick of the draft.
“It didn’t really have an impact on me, because it was just like, I mean, OK, like I don’t feed into negativity, or I don’t feed into that stuff.” Sanders told Cleveland media about the prank call, via ESPN. “You’ve seen on Deion [Sanders] Jr’s YouTube video. My reaction to it, I don’t – it is what it is. I think, of course, it’s childish. Of course, I feel like it was a childish act, but everybody does childish things here and there.”

Sanders’ new head coach, Kevin Stefanski, said that “people are morons,” when asked about the prank call.
Bill Clinton once admitted it was broken — now Trump’s swinging the wrecking ball
The Trump administration just announced plans to sell the headquarters of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), a brutalist architectural monstrosity. Secretary Scott Turner admits that HUD headquarters is “known as the ugliest building in D.C.”
The Trump administration is also seeking to terminate half of HUD’s staff and defund programs that have vexed America since the launch of Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society.
Andrew Cuomo, former New York governor and Bill Clinton’s last HUD secretary, admitted in 1998 that HUD had been “the poster child for failed government.” In 1976, Detroit City Council president (and future U.S. senator) Carl Levin denounced the agency as “Hurricane HUD” for ravaging the Motor City with reckless subsidized mortgages with stratospheric default rates.
Vice President Al Gore denounced HUD-financed public housing projects in 1996: “These crime-infested monuments to a failed policy are killing the neighborhoods around them.” In 2006, the leftist Village Voice labeled HUD as America’s worst landlord.
HUD PUTS HALF-OCCUPIED HEADQUARTERS BUILDING IN DC UP FOR SALE
Gross negligence has always been HUD’s standard operating procedure. In 2011, the Washington Postcompiled hundreds of satellite images to prove that HUD’s largest homebuilding program was a “dysfunctional system that delivers billions of dollars to local housing agencies with few rules, safeguards or even a reliable way to track projects.”
HUD claimed to have no idea that billions of dollars of its grants had been misused or plundered and ignored a barrage of complaints from individuals whose neighborhoods were ravaged. HUD left a “trail of failed developments in every corner of the country. Fields where apartment complexes were promised are empty and neglected,” the Post noted.
During the 1990s, I spent many days at HUD headquarters investigating boondoggles. HUD was overstocked with the most depressed employees you would ever meet outside of a group therapy session in a city jail. After I wrote a Wall Street Journal piece headlined “Clinton’s Wrecking Ball for Suburbs,” HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros denounced me for “unfortunate stereotyping of assisted-housing residents.”
But not nearly as unfortunate as subsequent HUD-financed violent crime waves across the nation. In the first half of 2016, at least 30 people were killed at Section 8 residences in Chicago – along with 7,000 other reported crimes.
TRUMP STOPPED BIDEN’S PLAN TO FORCE DEI ON LOCAL COMMUNITIES
In Houston, male Section 8 recipients are twice as likely to commit violent crimes as people with similar backgrounds and incomes who did not receive housing vouchers, according to a Texas A&M University study. A HUD-financed study found that Section 8 relocations “tripled the rate of arrests for property crimes” among boys who moved to new locales.
Russell Vought, Trump’s Office of Management & Budget chief, derided Section 8 because it “brings with it crime, decreased property values, and results in dependency and subsidized irresponsibility.” The Trump administration is expected to propose severe cuts in rental subsidies for next year’s budget.
When Congress created HUD in 1965, it was supposed to bring social justice to American cities. But Sandra Thompson, Biden’s Federal Housing Finance Agency chief, testified to Congress in 2022 that the racial homeownership gap “is higher today than when the Fair Housing Act [of 1968] was passed.”
The Biden administration sought to “fix” that problem with a new mandate to punish mortgage borrowers with good credit ratings by forcing them to subsidize borrowers with shaky records of paying their bills. But “No Deadbeats Left Behind” is a poor maxim for mortgage policies.

Secretary Turner is ready to abandon HUD headquarters, declaring that that agency’s focus is on “creating a workplace that reflects the values of efficiency, accountability and purpose.” That 12-story building needs a half billion dollars in “deferred maintenance and modernization” expenses and costs more than $50 million a year to operate – despite being perennially half empty even before Trump’s mass firings. The maintenance and modernization costs far exceed the original cost of the building in inflation-adjusted dollars.
HUD’s faltering headquarters could be far more valuable for a symbolic gesture than for a real estate payout.
Donald Trump should take a page from the most dramatic housing intervention of the last 60 years. In 1954, St. Louis opened one of the nation’s largest public housing projects, with 33 high-rise apartment buildings. But the Pruitt-Igoe project soon became hopelessly marred by crime and vandalism. The 1972 film footage of the entire project being demolished should have been required viewing in every high school civics class in the nation.

A heavily publicized demolition of HUD headquarters would provide a more valuable lesson for Americans than any sale price the faltering building fetched. For 60 years, HUD reaped massive congressional appropriations regardless of the havoc it sowed. Razing HUD would remind all federal agencies that failure has consequences.
And seeing HUD headquarters topple down would gratify everyone who wants to drain the D.C. swamp and everyone whose home value or neighborhood was blighted by HUD.

Schiff offers dire warning to Dems after what happened to him during San Francisco visit
Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., offered a dire warning to fellow Democrats recalling an exchange he had with a Target cashier in San Francisco, insisting his party has a “major problem.”
During a panel discussion on Friday’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Schiff was asked to weigh in on the current state of the Democratic Party and how it governs, particularly in a state like California.
“So we’re gonna have to change how we do business in California,” Schiff told Bill Maher. “We’re gonna have to address people’s legitimate concerns about crime.”
NBC HOST QUESTIONS ADAM SCHIFF ON WHETHER BIDEN OFFICIALS MISLED THE PUBLIC ABOUT FORMER PRESIDENT
Schiff then recalled an experience he had two years ago in San Francisco when his luggage was stolen from his car, admitting it was the one time he did not heed warnings from others about not leaving valuables in vehicles while in the city.
“And what was most memorable about the experience for me is I went to this Target in South San Francisco, 10 o’clock at night, and I’m getting the toiletries I’m gonna need for my next two days in the city,” Schiff said. “First of all, I had to get the clerk, which is hard to find, to unlock the shampoo or the whatever. So that’s one thing.”
MAYOR DANIEL LURIE SEES ‘VIBE SHIFT’ IN SAN FRANCISCO AS HE WORKS TO CLEAN UP CITY
“And then I get to the cashier. The cashier asked me if I want one of those Target bags with a little bullseye on it. And I said, ‘Yes, that Target bag is gonna be my luggage for the next two days,” Schiff continued. “And she asked me what happened, and I told her, and she basically said in not so many words, ’Yeah, Democrats are a—h—s.’ And I thought, you know, if the cashier in South San Francisco at 10 o’clock at night believes that Democrats are a—h—s because the shampoo was locked up and my stuff got stolen out of the trunk, we’ve got a major problem that we have to address.”
“That’s an awesome story,” Maher reacted. “That says a lot. I hope all the Democrats listen to that story.”
Schiff expressed hope in San Francisco‘s new Democratic mayor Daniel Lurie, who he says is “helping lead the way in how we kind of reinvent how Democrats are doing governance.”

Aaron Rodgers appears down to only one NFL team needing him after NFL Draft
While the football world was wrapped up in where Shedeur Sanders was going to go on day three of the 2025 NFL Draft, ESPN’s Adam Schefter dropped some other quarterback news that is very significant for a certain MVP free agent.
Aaron Rodgers remains without a team for the 2025 season, as he hasn’t made his decision on whom to play for.
One of those potential teams was the Minnesota Vikings, given that J.J. McCarthy, the team’s first-round pick in 2024, didn’t touch the field last season due to a season-ending injury. However, the front office has been adamant that McCarthy is the man for the job, heading into this season, but speculation about a potential Rodgers deal remained afloat.

Perhaps that has officially come to an end after Schefter revealed during ESPN’s broadcast of the draft that the Vikings had acquired Sam Howell from the Seattle Seahawks. Howell later confirmed the trade, making a celebratory post on Instagram.
ESPN STAR OFFERS EXPLANATION FOLLOWING SHEDEUR SANDERS’ NFL DRAFT TUMBLE
In return for Howell, Minnesota sent its 142nd pick in the fifth round, which the Seahawks used on defensive lineman Rylie Mills. Two picks later, Sanders was finally taken by the Cleveland Browns.
So, where does that leave Rodgers for 2025?
The Pittsburgh Steelers are still the frontrunner for his services, and their draft mindset appeared to show that they still believe he has a good chance of signing. When Pittsburgh passed on a quarterback in the first round, electing to go with Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon instead, many were shocked.
The surprise only gained weight when the Steelers continued to select other positions of need for its roster other than quarterback on day two. Finally, after Sanders was taken, the Steelers selected Ohio State’s Will Howard, a Pennsylvania native, in the sixth round.
Steelers owner Art Rooney II and head coach Mike Tomlin have both publicly shown interest in bringing in the four-time MVP quarterback to lead their offense after his failed tenure with the New York Jets.
“That’s certainly a possibility,” Tomlin said to NFL Network about getting a decision from Rodgers soon. “I’m not going to forecast the ifs and whens regarding not only him, but any other potential free agent. We’ve had really productive talks with him, and I’ve enjoyed having productive talks with him and getting to know him.”
Ultimately, it appears the decision is entirely Rodgers’ at this point. Retirement, much like it was when his time with the Green Bay Packers was clearly up before the 2023 campaign, is still in the cards.

But the true options are down to really only one team that could use his services for next season. The Steelers did make things enticing for Rodgers, too, bringing in D.K. Metcalf in a trade with the Seahawks to add to their offensive firepower, which includes George Pickens, Jaylen Warren, Pat Freiermuth and rookie running back Kaleb Johnson out of Iowa.
Other than Howard, the Steelers brought back Mason Rudolph and signed Skylar Thompson to fill out its quarterbacks room.
Two speedboat racers are lucky to be alive after a terrifying crash at Lake Havasu in Arizona on Saturday in which their vessel went flipping and flying through the air before slamming back onto the surface of the water.
The frightening scene was captured on video as the speedboat was attempting to break a 206-mph speed record on the lake. It happened during an event called Desert Storm Shugrue’s Shootout.
In the video, the white 10,000-horsepower boat was seen cruising at a high speed on the lake’s surface while being followed by a helicopter with a camera attached to the bottom.
The vessel appeared to be skipping like a stone when the front of it tilted just enough for the wind to pick it up, causing the boat to backflip completely.
2 TEEN GIRLS KILLED AFTER JET SKI CRASHES INTO BOAT IN ILLINOIS
But the wild ride did not end there. In fact, the boat remained in the air and turned nearly 360 degrees horizontally before the front corner caught the water as it began to flip vertically once more.
Spectators could be heard on the original video swearing in disbelief at what they had just seen.
FOX 10 in Phoenix reported that both racers on board, who are with Freedom One Racing and go by the aliases John Wayne and Clint Eastwood to hide their identities, walked away from the crash.
The station spoke with Ray Lee of Speedboat Magazine, who said the racing team was hoping to make history over the weekend.
FISHERMAN CATCHES PREHISTORIC-LOOKING ALLIGATOR GAR IN 4-HOUR ‘EPIC BATTLE’
“It’s a 388 skater and it’s estimated at about 10,000 horsepower,” Lee said. “So, they came to Lake Havasu earlier in the week intending to break the record here for the Desert Storm shootout. That was their first pass of the day and when they went over, the radar picked them up at 200.1 mph.”
Fellow racers told the station that the men on board owe their lives to those who built the boat.
“The last thing you ever want to see is a crash and especially something as horrendous as that,” shootout competitor Jeff Clark said, explaining that going as fast as the men were going can take away a driver’s ability to react. “At that speed, it doesn’t take much, you know, those tunnel holes are built to pack air, so the boat rides on top of the water. You know it’s like on a rail and if you pack up too much and that nose gets too high it’ll just – at that speed – take you airborne.”
He added that his heart dropped when he saw Eastwood and Wayne’s boat go airborne.
3 DEAD, MORE INJURED AFTER BOAT ACCIDENT IN MAJOR LEAGUE FISHING TOURNAMENT: REPORT
“It’s never something you want to look at when you’re out having fun as a driver, for sure,” Clark said.
Both Lee and Clark said windy conditions may have been a factor in the crash but also may have helped the two men onboard.
Lee told the station that when the boat cut the wind, it caused the vessel to remain airborne longer than if there had not been any substantial wind.
“You hold your breath, and you hold it until you see both racers emerge from the cockpit,” he said. “For the most part, uninjured.”
Since 1963, there have been 11 fatal racing crashes on Lake Havasu, Motorsport Memorial reported, with the deadliest occurring in 2018 when three people died when a boat named “Lickety Split” crashed.

Clark credited safety improvements for keeping the racers inside the vessel safe.
“Those guys are alive for one reason and one reason only: That boat was built not to come apart,” he said. “So, when they were sitting in that cockpit and when you look at pictures of the boats, it’s totally destroyed but the cockpit is in perfect condition. I tip my hat to Skater and the crew that built that boat because it saved that guy’s life, it saved both of their lives, there’s no doubt about it.”
