Dangerous escalation between nuclear-armed nations in latest barrage of rocket attacks

Pakistan’s armed forces said they hit back at India, targeting military sites, after India fired missiles at three of its air bases in a frightening escalation between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

India had earlier targeted the three air bases inside Pakistan with missiles, most of which were intercepted, on Saturday, Pakistani military officials said.

The strike marks the latest escalation between the nuclear-armed rivals, a move triggered by a mass shooting that India blames Pakistan for.

TRUMP OFFERS TO HELP INDIA, PAKISTAN AMID GROWING CONFLICT: ‘I WANT TO SEE THEM STOP’

In a televised address, Pakistani army spokesman, Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif, said the country’s air force assets were safe.

He added that some of the Indian missiles also hit India’s eastern Punjab. There was no immediate comment from India.

“This is a provocation of the highest order,” Sharif said.

INDIA LAUNCHES STRIKES ON TERRORIST CAMPS IN PAKISTAN

The missiles targeted Nur Khan air base in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, Murid air base in Chakwal city and Rafiqui air base in the Jhang district of eastern Punjab province, Sharif said.

Some of the missiles landed in Afghanistan, he said.

“I want to give you the shocking news that India fired six ballistic missiles from its city of Adampur,” said Sharif. One of the ballistic missiles hit Adampur, the remaining five missiles hit the Indian Punjab area of Amritsar.”

Earlier this week, Pakistan shot down more than two dozen drones.

The fraught relationship between the neighboring nations hit a low following an attack at a popular tourist area in India-controlled Kashmir, leaving 26 people dead.

Most of those killed were Hindu tourists. India has blamed Pakistan, which denies any involvement.

Mexico sues American tech giant over Gulf of America name change

Mexico has filed a lawsuit against Google after it changed the label for the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America on its maps platform to match U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order to amend the name of the body of water, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced Friday.

Sheinbaum said at a press briefing that the lawsuit had been filed against the tech giant, without providing additional details.

The lawsuit comes after Sheinbaum threatened in February to sue Google for the name change.

MEXICAN PRESIDENT SIGNALS POSSIBLE LAWSUIT AGAINST GOOGLE OVER GULF OF AMERICA NAME CHANGE

“We are going to wait. We are already seeing, observing what this would mean from the perspective of legal advice, but we hope that they will make a revision,” Sheinbaum said at the time.

Mexico’s Foreign Relations Ministry has also previously sent letters to Google urging it not to relabel the oceanic basin as the Gulf of America.

Trump signed an order on his first day back in the White House in January to rename the northern part of the gulf to the Gulf of America. The body of water has shared borders between the United States and Mexico, and Trump’s order only carries authority within the U.S.

Mexico has argued that the Gulf of America label should only apply to the part over the U.S. continental shelf. The U.S. has control over about 46% of the gulf, Mexico controls about 49% and Cuba controls about 5%, according to Sovereign Limits, a database of international boundaries.

“What Google is doing here is changing the name of the continental shelf of Mexico and Cuba, which has nothing to do with Trump’s decree, which applied only to the U.S. continental shelf,” Sheinbaum said in February.

The gulf appears in Google Maps as the Gulf of America within the U.S., as the Gulf of Mexico within Mexico and Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America) everywhere else. It had been called the Gulf of Mexico for more than 400 years.

Google Maps began using Gulf of America for users in the U.S. shortly after Trump’s order, citing its “longstanding practice” of following the U.S. government’s lead on these matters. In cases where official names vary between countries, Google’s policy says users will see their official local names.

In February, the Mexican president shared a response from Google’s vice president of government affairs and public policy, Cris Turner, who said the company would not change its policy after Trump’s order.

Sheinbaum’s announcement of the lawsuit comes after House Republicans passed the Gulf of America Act in a 211-206 vote, marking the first step in codifying Trump’s order. The legislation now heads to the Senate.

Red state pushes ‘strongest bill in the nation’ to stop land buys by US foes

Texas lawmakers are charging ahead with what they call the nation’s strongest legislative effort yet to block hostile foreign powers from purchasing land in the Lone Star State.

Championed by Republican state Rep. Cole Hefner and state Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, Senate Bill 17 (SB17) is designed to stop governments and entities tied to countries like China, Iran, North Korea and Russia from gaining a foothold on Texas soil.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Hefner described SB17 as “model legislation” aimed at shutting down land purchases that pose a national security threat.

“This bill is about actions and affiliations, not race, not nationality,” Hefner said. “If you’re acting on behalf of a hostile foreign adversary, we’re going to take that land back.”

TEXAS LAW GETS TOUGH ON PUBLIC, PRIVATE DRONE USE

The bill is in direct response to real-world events.

Hefner cited the 2021 case of a retired Chinese general acquiring over 140,000 acres near Laughlin Air Force Base.

“We’ve [also] seen the attempt of foreign actors or hostile foreign adversaries to buy land close to food processing plants,” Hefner said. “And it’s just something that we have found the more we dig into it, the more we find that there’s a lot of things we don’t know and a lot of vulnerabilities that are out there.”

The bill prohibits entities and individuals affiliated with governments designated as national security threats, based on the U.S. Director of National Intelligence’s annual assessments, from purchasing real estate if those purchases pose risks to public health or safety.

The law empowers the state’s attorney general to investigate, block and even reverse such land deals through court-ordered receivership.

TEXAS LAWMAKERS CONSIDERING BILL TO BAN GENDER CHANGES ON BIRTH CERTIFICATES

Under SB17, “real property” includes agricultural, commercial, industrial, and residential land as well as mines, minerals, and timber. The law includes key exemptions for U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and property intended as a personal homestead.

“The strong points of our bill is that it can apply to anyone if we can prove they’re acting as an agent,” said Hefner. “So even if they’re from a friendly country, but they’re actually on behalf of a foreign adversary, then they will be subject to the bill.”

The bill gives the attorney general investigative powers, and authority to appoint receivers to manage or sell properties acquired in violation of the law.

Hefner pushed back hard on critics who claim the bill is xenophobic. “This has nothing to do with skin color or ethnicity,” he said. “It’s about protecting Texans and Americans from foreign espionage and influence.”

He also stressed that SB17 should not be seen as a partisan move. “It shouldn’t be a partisan issue. This is about national security. This is about keeping our citizens safe,” said Hefner. “It’s not about Republican or Democrat, it’s not liberal or conservative. It is just taking care of our people.

“And I believe that’s the, you know, the number one responsibility of the government is to make sure that people can live free and safe in their state.”

SB17 is set to take effect Sept. 1. Hefner said he hopes the legislation sparks a nationwide effort.

“We need to wake up,” he said. “This is about securing the homeland, not playing politics.”

Jeff Sperbeck, the longtime agent, business partner and friend of John Elway, died after he was involved in a serious crash involving a golf cart. Sperbeck was 62.

Elway, a former Denver Broncos quarterback, was reportedly driving the motorized vehicle at the time of the deadly accident.

The Riverside County (California) coroner confirmed that Sperbeck died on April 30 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. The injury had occurred four days earlier in nearby La Quinta.

On Friday, the coroner’s office ruled Sperbeck’s death accidental and said he had died as a result of blunt head trauma.

“The Cause of Death is ‘Blunt Head Trauma,’ and the Manner of Death is ‘Accident,’ and the Mode of Death (How the injury occurred) is ‘Passenger fell from golf cart.’” the coroner’s bureau said in the statement obtained by Fox News Digital.

JOHN ELWAY BREAKS SILENCE ON AGENT’S DEATH AFTER GOLF CART CRASH

The statement added that the injury occurred when the “passenger fell from” the golf cart.

Last week, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco made it clear that investigators had found “nothing” to suggest that criminal activity had taken place during the incident. “This appears to be a horrific accident,” Bianco told the Post, noting that “a couple” of the people involved in the incident “happen to be very high-profile celebrities,” Bianco told the Denver Post.

“And that makes this more of an issue than it probably should be,” Bianco said at the time, noting that his department had received a “massive media inquiry” after the news broke. “We’re doing everything we can to make sure that this is what it appears to be, and just an accident,” he added.

Elway released a statement on April 30 saying he was left “heartbroken.”

“I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the passing of my close friend, business partner and agent Jeff Sperbeck,” Elway said in a statement, via ESPN. “There are no words to truly express the profound sadness I feel with the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much to me. “

Well-known bishop says pope has already given a clue how he will handle political divides

American author, speaker and theologian Bishop Robert Barron was at the Vatican this week to witness the election of a new pope, and he shared his thoughts with Fox News Digital about Cardinal Robert Prevost’s “intriguing” new papal name.

Papal names are often very symbolic with regard to how a Pope will serve as the leader of the Catholic Church. Typically, Pope’s select the names of predecessors they admire or want to emulate. Prevost ultimately went with Leo XIV in honor of Pope Leo XIII, who served from 1878 to 1903.

“He could have been Francis II, and we would have said, ‘Oh, there he is clearly in the line of Francis.’ He could have been John Paul III, then we would have thought, ‘Oh, he’s very much in that more conservative line.’ He could have been John XXIV, and we say ‘Oh, now he’s a real revolutionary liberal, et cetera,'” Barron said. “The fact that he went back, well over 100 years, to this very interesting and pivotal figure … our new pope was saying, I too, want a critical engagement with the modern world, not simply a ‘no,’ but also not simply a ‘yes,’ not simply an acquiescence to it.”

CARDINAL DOLAN DESCRIBES POPE XIV AS ‘CITIZEN OF THE WORLD,’ WILL BUILD BRIDGES WITH TRUMP

Barron pointed out that Leo XIII was a pivotal figure due to the timing of his reign, which came during a moment when the Church was contending with the tremendous political and philosophical upheavals of the 18th and 19th centuries, such as the French and American Revolutions, and the introduction of philosophies such as Marxism.

“The church’s first reaction [to these changes] was very negative. It was a great ‘no’ to modernity. By the end of the 19th century, I think, with a certain distance and a certain critical intelligence, the church was willing to enter into a more, call it, creative engagement with modernity. And I think Pope Leo the 13th represents precisely that,” Barron said.

The bishop pointed to the Rerum Novarum to further his point, an encyclical letter issued by Pope Leo XII in 1891.

BEARS STAR CALEB WILLIAMS ISSUES TWO-WORDED REACTION TO POPE LEO XIV’S ELECTION

“In that document, [Leo XII] is a fierce opponent of Marxism, a fierce opponent of socialism and communism, a great defender of private property and of the market economy,” Barron said. “So you say, ‘Okay, there’s that great ‘no’ to the left-wing economic revolutions.’ At the same time, in that same letter, [Leo XII] comes out strongly in favor of the right to form unions. He comes out very strongly in favor of what we call the universal destination of goods.”

“In fact, Pope Leo says in that letter, once the requirements of necessity and propriety have been met in your life, the rest of what you own belongs to the poor,” Barron continued. “That’s not a just a standard, boring, mainstream point of view. That’s a pretty revolutionary statement. But notice the lovely balance in that letter between ‘yes’ to private property, the great ‘no’ to socialism and Marxism, but the great ‘yes’ to the universal destination of goods. Leo sets the tone thereby for the rest of Catholic social teaching that followed him.”

In conclusion, Barron said he thinks Prevost’s selection of Leo XIV makes the new pope “a very interesting player” in terms of the debate between the Right and the Left in politics.

“[Leo XVI] doesn’t fit – and I’ve said this 1,000 times – he and other great representatives of Catholic social teaching don’t fit into our categories of left and right,” Barron said. “They don’t fit into Democrat-Republican, they’re in a space beyond those distinctions. So, I think that’s what’s perhaps most interesting about him.”

CNN commentator roars with laughter over ‘The View’ host’s claim about Biden’s honesty

CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings laughed at fellow network commentator Ana Navarro Thursday night after she insisted former President Joe Biden doesn’t “tell many lies.”

The conservative commentator burst out laughing at Navarro – also a co-host on ABC’s “The View” – after she denied reporting that Biden had told former Vice President Kamala Harris to leave “no daylight” between their agendas while she campaigned for president last year.

Navarro recounted that Biden denied the “daylight” comment during a live interview on “The View” earlier in the day and said she believed him, adding that she doesn’t think he lies often.

Jennings asked her of Biden, “You think he’s ever told a lie?” Navarro replied, “I don’t think he tells many lies,” prompting Jennings to bend over laughing.

JEN PSAKI RECALLS REACTION TO BIDEN’S DEBATE, ‘HEARTBREAKING’ SUMMER BEFORE 2024 EXIT: ‘I WAS LIKE, IS HE OK?’

The clash came several hours after Navarro and her “View” co-hosts spoke to Joe and Jill Biden on the set of the ABC talk show Thursday morning, asking him about claims made in a new book that he requested that Harris leave “no daylight” between them.

“Well, look, first of all, I did not advise her to say that, number one. Like I said, I was vice president. I understand the role, number one,” he said. “Number two, I think it was, I think she was talking about, she wouldn’t have changed the successes we had, not opposed to, we wouldn’t change anything at all. She has to be her own person, and she was.”

Biden’s response conflicted with reporting in “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” the book written by reporters Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen in the aftermath of the 2024 election.

Biden’s alleged request to his then-vice president was seen as one of the contributing reasons for her loss. Critics have claimed Harris didn’t do enough to separate herself from her ex-boss’s unpopular presidency.

Jennings confronted Navarro over the answer she received from Biden on her other show, suggesting she’d rather believe Biden’s statements over Parnes and Allen’s reporting.

“It’s been reported. He told [Harris] point-blank – he told her point-blank, ‘No daylight, kid. No daylight,’” the conservative said, as Navarro tried to speak over him.

BIDEN TELLS ‘THE VIEW’ HE WASN’T SURPRISED HARRIS LOST, BLAMES SEXISM, RACISM

“The View” co-host shot back that Jennings, a media critic, was buying the journalists’ claims without much skepticism.

“Oh, because reporting can never be wrong?” she asked.

“Are you attacking the journalism around it?,” he replied.

“You think reporting can never be wrong? You come in and you come on here and you attack reporting every night! We actually asked him the question directly,” Navarro responded, referencing her interview with Biden.

Jennings rejected Biden’s response, saying, “There’s critical reporting about this guy, and he told her point-blank, ‘No daylight.'”

After Jennings laughed at her denial that Biden wasn’t being honest, Navarro hit back, “No. You know why you don’t get to laugh like that? Because you support a guy who lies every freaking day and lies continuously. You support a guy who cannot acknowledge that he lost the 2020 election, and that lies about it.”

By this point in the discussion, the two were almost yelling at each other, prompting CNN anchor Abby Phillip to end the segment.

Following the interview, Jennings continued defending his point on X, sharing the image of Allen’s headline mentioning Biden’s alleged “daylight” claim.

In the post, the CNN commentator invited the authors of the Biden book to refute Navarro and Biden’s statements, writing, “Care to weigh in, @amieparnes and @jonallendc? You’ve been called liars here on the ‘no daylight kid’ moment – but my bet is you’ve got it right and Joe Biden can’t remember what he had for breakfast yesterday. This will not age well.”

Allen replied to Jennings on Friday morning, declaring “We stand by our reporting, which @TheView noted was deeply sourced.”

In a follow-up post, Allen even argued that Biden had not even denied the “daylight” claim specifically.

He wrote, “Also, Biden was asked a two-part question. 1) Harris saying ‘there’s not a thing that comes to mind’ on The View. 2) that he encouraged her to have ‘no daylight’ from him. He answered the first — ‘I did not advise her to say that’ — and ignored the second. Roll tape.”

Warning issued on head-turning new drink trend that could crush alcohol sales

A head-turning new trend is hitting bars across America, and it is likely to have a major impact on the spirits market, according to “Bar Rescue” host Jon Taffer.

Cannabis-infused drinks are gaining popularity as an alternative for consumers embracing an alcohol-free lifestyle, and although the effects on the market are too early to tell, Taffer asserts there is “no question” it is shaking up the industry.

CBD- AND THC-INFUSED MOCKTAIL BRAND SOLD IN STATES WHERE CANNABIS PRODUCTS ARE LEGAL AS INDUSTRY GROWS

“There’s clearly a trend in that direction… And there’s no question cannabis is affecting the spirits industry,” Taffer said Wednesday during an appearance on “Varney & Co.”

CBD-infused beverages are a steadily growing category. In 2021, cannabidiol products generated $5.3 billion and by 2026 are projected to increase to $16 billion, according to Statista.

DOCTOR WARNS OF CANNABIS-RELATED MEDICAL RISKS: LEGAL DOES NOT MEAN SAFE

This year, the cannabis market in the U.S. is anticipated to exceed $45 billion.

However, Taffer noted an existing hurdle, spotlighting that many states do not permit the sale of alcohol and cannabis in the same environment.

Minnesota is one of the few states that currently allows the sale of hemp and low-dose THC beverages at breweries, and in some cases, even offers on-tap options.

California has taken a strict stance on beverages containing THC. The state’s Department of Alcohol Beverage Control issued an industry advisory stating that alcohol-licensed businesses may not carry or sell hemp products.

Despite the red tape, some celebrities have hopped into the market, including country music legend Willie Nelson.

Diddy prosecution faces setback as key witness disappears ahead of trial

As opening statements in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking trial are set to kick off Monday, the defense and prosecution have seemingly run into a few roadblocks.

The prosecution has lost communication with Victim 3 and cannot locate her, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey.

“The disappearance of a key victim at trial is crippling for the prosecution,” attorney John J. Perlstein told Fox News Digital. “I doubt it impacts other counts; however, it will severely impact the one relating to the AWOL victim. A lot of times, people reconsider wanting to be involved in such a high-profile matter. Good prosecutors will adapt and, hopefully, their case is not dependent on the cooperation of one person.”

DIDDY FACES JURY IN OPINIONATED NY HOMETOWN AMID BID FOR FREEDOM ON SEX TRAFFICKING CHARGES

No-shows “add stress” to any trial and witnesses can become non-responsive for many reasons, according to Judie Saunders, partner of NYC-based ASK LLP.

“If this witness doesn’t show, that’s a problem,” entertainment lawyer Tre Lovell explained to Fox News Digital. “One of the biggest questions in this prosecution is the small number of victim-witnesses in light of all the civil lawsuits and ‘victims’ out there.

“To have only three to four actual victims testifying against allegations of two decades-long criminality is telling. Although the government will have other witnesses to testify (i.e. staff workers, Diddy associates, people that were part of his entourage), the victims will be the most compelling and important people on the stand.”

PROSPECTIVE DIDDY JURORS QUIZZED ON MIKE MYERS, INFIDELITY, MUSIC

Diddy has been charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution in a federal indictment unsealed Sept. 17. He has maintained his innocence. If found guilty, he faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars or a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Authorities allege Diddy ran a criminal enterprise through his businesses, including Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises and Combs Global, among others. He used “firearms, threats of violence, coercion and verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse” to fulfill his sexual desires, according to prosecutors.

WATCH ON FOX NATION: WHAT DIDDY DO?

While opening statements will begin Monday, the jury panel has yet to be finalized, according to Friday’s status conference in the case. Diddy’s legal team was concerned about jurors getting cold feet over the weekend, and Judge Arun Subramanian agreed.

“This doesn’t necessarily signal a struggle to seat the jury; it’s more about being cautious and setting the trial up for a smooth start with minimal disruptions,” criminal defense lawyer Jo-Anna Nieves told Fox News Digital. “It’s a thoughtful and fairly common precaution.”

Criminal defense attorney Eric Faddis added, “It’s normal for different phases of the trial to take longer than expected, but apparently at least one of the 45 potential jurors remaining has recently asked to be removed from this controversial, high-profile case.”

Diddy’s lawyer has also revealed the defense plans to introduce the idea that there was mutual violence in the rapper’s relationships. Legal experts explained this tactic is “risky and complicated.”

“The defense is essentially arguing that the relationship with Victim 1 was volatile on both sides, so it shouldn’t be seen as one-sided abuse or coercion,” Nieves explained. “That might sound plausible at first, but in court, mutual violence doesn’t automatically cancel out claims of coercion. The focus will be on who held the power in the relationship. If Diddy controlled the situation through money, status, threats or manipulation, then any violence from the other party won’t excuse or equalize that dynamic.”

“Jurors also tend to be turned off by strategies that seem like victim-blaming,” she continued. “Trying to make the victim look just as responsible can backfire, especially if there’s evidence that Diddy was the primary aggressor. This approach might raise some questions in the jury’s mind, but it’s a strategy that depends heavily on context and credibility.”

A “mutual combat” defense “doesn’t transform an allegedly non-consensual sexual encounter into a consensual one,” Faddis added. “Though, if accepted as true, it may mitigate Diddy’s alleged actions in the eyes of the jurors.”

SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTS EX-GIRLFRIEND CASSIE IN HOTEL VIDEO

Diddy’s mutual violence position is likely going to be used to undercut the video of the rapper engaging in a physical altercation with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

“Diddy’s legal team needs to distance the Cassie Ventura hotel video from the allegations in this case and ‘box it,'” Lovell explained.

“This means describe it as a mutually violent altercation, a fight between two people in a romantic, decade-long relationship that has everything to do with private issues (i.e. infidelity) between a couple as opposed to racketeering or sex trafficking.”

Diddy also faces testimony from Ventura. The musician, who is pregnant, is set to testify using her real name in the trial, People magazine reported. Other alleged victims have been allowed to testify using pseudonyms.

“Cassie will gain sympathy from the jury as being an assault victim and the fact she is a soon-to-be mother,” Lovell noted. “Nevertheless, Diddy’s team can remind the jury of how long ago this was, and that she was very different back then. Appearance before a jury is always very important, for both the defendant and credibility of witnesses, but the attorneys can diffuse this through evidence and reminding the jury that everyone in court will be on their best behavior and, by design, not exhibit the conduct for which they are either the subject of the prosecution or a testifying witness.”

While the “Me & U” singer’s current pregnancy doesn’t “erase proof” of an allegedly violent past, Perlstein — a top Los Angeles litigator — told Fox News Digital, it could help her seem sympathetic on the stand.

Ventura’s pregnancy “only increases the likelihood” that jurors will view her as a “sympathetic witness,” Faddis told Fox News Digital. “It also undercuts the defense’s argument that Cassie, a woman modest in stature, is somehow equally involved in and responsible for the alleged physical altercations between the two.”

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and denied all the allegations.

William Shatner has a ‘counter-offer’ in mind for country’s new prime minister

Canadian actor William Shatner teased the “counter-offer” he would have liked Canada’s newly-elected Prime Minister Mark Carney to have made against President Donald Trump’s push for the country to join the United States as its 51st state.

The prime minister told Trump in the Oval Office on Tuesday that some places are “never for sale,” including Canada, to which Trump responded, “Never say never.”

I’ve dealt a little in real estate, and I’m going to say to Carney, do a real estate deal,” Shatner told “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Tuesday. “Make a counter-offer. Let’s offer — Canada, offer to the United States to be the 11th province.

Shatner revealed whether he thought Trump was “serious” about making Canada the nation’s 51st state.

CARNEY SAYS CANADA IS NOT FOR SALE, TRUMP REPLIES, ‘NEVER SAY NEVER’

“I mean, everybody’s so serious about what is an un-serious offer,” he said. “Canada’s been around for 150 years more, and they’ve had a noble service.

“You can’t denigrate that, you can’t deny that,” Shatner continued.

Watters challenged Shatner’s implication that Trump is “denigrating” Canadian soldiers’ “fight for freedom.”

Sometimes “persistence” pays off, he said, adding that former President Joe Biden finally got his wife to accept his marriage proposal after multiple attempts.

Shatner replied, “I know, but at a certain point, persistence becomes insulting,” before calling the 51st-state debate a “spurious fight.”

Watters asked the “Star Trek” actor if he took an interest in Mars, which SpaceX CEO Elon Musk intends to colonize as a source of “life insurance” for humanity.

ELON MUSK SHARES VISION OF MARS AS ‘LIFE INSURANCE’ FOR HUMANITY: ‘MULTI-PLANET CIVILIZATION’

Shatner described the question as “fraught with many implications, like discovery.”

“What is this thing that mankind has to search and search and search and never be content?” Shatner asked. “Like making one offer after another to Canada.”

Shatner said he plans to ask Neil deGrasse Tyson the same question in June during “Rocking,” their unscripted concert in Seattle, before plugging his annual Hollywood Charity Horse Show.

I’ve raised millions of dollars for children and for veterans, and on May 31, we’re having our party,” Shatner said.
