Admin signals what’s next after locking horns with America’s enemy in 10-hour standoff
President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social Saturday night that “great progress” had been made during weekend trade negotiations with China.
During the meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, between U.S. officials, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and a Chinese delegation, “many things” were discussed and “much [was] agreed to,” Trump said.
No major breakthrough was announced in discussions that lasted over 10 hours, The Associated Press reported, and negotiations are scheduled to continue Sunday.
PIVOTAL TRADE TALKS WITH BEIJING LOOM AS TRUMP SWEARS IN NEW US AMBASSADOR TO CHINA: ‘WHAT TIMING’
The administration announced a round of tariffs April 2 and later imposed a 145% tariff on Chinese goods.
After reducing reciprocal tariffs on other countries for 90 days to a baseline of 10%, China raised tariffs on U.S. goods to 125%.
TRUMP IS COMMITTED TO 10% BASELINE TARIFF, WHITE HOUSE SAYS, DESPITE UK TRADE DEAL ANNOUNCEMENT
On Thursday, Trump told reporters at the White House China “very much” wanted to make a deal, ending the intense tariff battle.
While the president did not provide many specifics Saturday night, he described the agreement as “a total reset negotiated in a friendly, but constructive, manner.”
“We want to see, for the good of both China and the U.S., an opening up of China to American business,” Trump wrote in the post. “GREAT PROGRESS MADE!!!”
TRUMP SAYS 80% TARIFF ON CHINA ‘SEEMS RIGHT’ AHEAD OF WEEKEND TALKS WITH BEIJING
A longtime supporter of tariffs, Trump argued that “fair” duties could address the nation’s record $1.2 trillion trade deficit from 2024 and encourage the return of U.S. manufacturing jobs.
Bessent said in April the tariffs could cost China up to 10 million jobs, making Chinese tariffs unsustainable.

“Even if there is a drop in the tariffs, they could lose 5 million jobs,” Bessent told White House reporters. “Remember that we are the deficit country. They sell almost five times more goods to us than we sell to them. So, the onus will be on them to take off these tariffs.”
Trump steps in as rivals halt fire — and drops a surprise that could shake the region
U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday promised to increase trade with India and Pakistan after the two nations agreed to a ceasefire to end the conflict with each other.
“While not even discussed, I am going to increase trade, substantially, with both of these great Nations,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Additionally, I will work with you both to see if, after a ‘thousand years,’ a solution can be arrived at concerning Kashmir. God Bless the leadership of India and Pakistan on a job well done!!!”
The fragile ceasefire was holding on Sunday after several days of intense fighting, with dozens killed as missiles and drones were fired at each other’s military bases. The deal was reached after diplomacy and pressure from the U.S., but artillery fire was witnessed in Indian Kashmir within hours of the agreement.
Attacks were witnessed in cities near the border under a blackout, as was the case in the previous two evenings.
INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE’S EFFORT TO PULL INDIA, PAKISTAN BACK FROM THE BRINK OF WAR
The fighting began on Wednesday after 26 men were killed two weeks prior in an attack targeting Hindus in Pahalgam in Kashmir. Both countries rule part of Kashmir but claim full control.
Late on Saturday, India accused Pakistan of violating the agreement to stop firing and that the Indian armed forces had been told to “deal strongly” with any continued firings.
Pakistan blamed India for violating the truce and said it was committed to the ceasefire.
TRUMP ANNOUNCES INDIA AND PAKISTAN AGREED TO CEASEFIRE
The fighting and explosions reported overnight had quieted on both sides of the border by dawn on Sunday.
“I am very proud of the strong and unwaveringly powerful leadership of India and Pakistan for having the strength, wisdom, and fortitude to fully know and understand that it was time to stop the current aggression that could have lead to to [sic] the death and destruction of so many, and so much,” Trump said in his post.
“Millions of good and innocent people could have died! Your legacy is greatly enhanced by your brave actions. I am proud that the USA was able to help you arrive at this historic and heroic decision,” he added.

Two powerful Democrats let ‘Squad’ member have it over comments about White men
Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville and Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., unloaded on Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., calling out the progressive “Squad” member for resurfaced comments about white men.
During Thursday’s episode of the Politics War Room podcast, Khanna said that “Democrats need to start every speech by saying, ‘America is the greatest country in the world.’”
Carville slammed the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, specifically Omar, for doing more harm than good for the party’s cause.
He clarified, “I am a liberal Democrat,” but added, “I don’t like — let’s just say — the progressive wing of the Democratic Party all right.” “My argument is maybe these people are not worth the trouble. Maybe they should just go their own way.”
JAMES CARVILLE SAYS DEMOCRATS CAN’T AFFORD TO LIE LIKE ‘REPUBLICANS DO’ BECAUSE THEY WOULD LOSE CREDIBILITY
The longtime Democratic strategist continued, focusing his sights on Omar from a resurfaced clip of a 2018 interview in which she said: “I would say our country should be more fearful of White men across our country, because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country.”
She added at the time, while discussing jihadism, “And so if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of White men.”
Carville challenged, “Ilhan Omar says that white males are responsible for more deaths than anybody in the country. I have no idea whether that’s true. Why say that?” “Why are we trying to p–s off one-third of the people that are going to vote?”
Carville expanded on his point about isolating voters by breaking down the demographics of the electorate, questioning why progressives are seeking to antagonize “about a third of the electorate.”
“When is somebody going to say: ‘Why don’t you people just learn to shut up about this, you’re not doing anybody any good,’” he asked.
DAVID HOGG CLASHES WITH AN IRATE JAMES CARVILLE OVER DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY PLAN, CALLS ON HIM TO ‘WIN ELECTIONS’
Khanna also offered his take on Omar’s comments on white Americans, saying he disagrees with her on a “substantive level.”
“I think that white Americans have done enormous things for our freedom,” Khanna asserted. “I mean, who are the people who scaled the cliffs of Normandy? Many of them were white men.”
The California congressman continued: “It’s not just I disagree politically, I disagree substantively. This is a great country. It is a kind country. It is a decent country.”
The Indian-American representative went on to recall his own family’s experience of coming to the United States, praising the success his family achieved, which he felt “would not be possible anywhere else.”

Khanna suggested that Democrats start every speech praising America.
“What Democrats should start every speech with is: ‘America is the greatest country in the world. It’s the most open country in the world. It’s the least racist country in the world, and we want to make it better,'” Khanna asserted.
“Tell the caucus there’s no future in us running against white men,” Carville replied.
Rep. Ilhan Omar’s office did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital’s latest request for comment. But she previously told Fox News Digital: “In this nearly 8yr old clip, I am referring to the rise of white nationalism in an annual report issued by the Anti-Defamation League that said white supremacists were responsible for 78 percent of “extremist-related murders,” Omar said. “PS you should look up what “genocidal” actually means when you’re actively supporting a genocide taking place in Gaza.”
Dems storm ICE facility in wild prison clash — and the cameras were rolling
A trio of U.S. House Democrats from New Jersey whose visit to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center went off the rails Friday and devolved into a scuffle with federal agents could face arrest, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Lawmakers LaMonica McIver, Bonnie Watson Coleman and Rob Menendez allegedly stormed the Delaney Hall Detention Center, along with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who was arrested and charged with trespassing. Authorities claim an ICE agent was assaulted in the confrontation, which was caught on camera.
“If it was a typical U.S. citizen, and they tried to storm into a detention facility that’s housing dangerous criminals or any person at all, they would be arrested,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told “Fox News Live” host Kevin Corke Saturday. “Just because you are a member of Congress or just because you’re a public official, does not mean you are above the law.
NEWARK MAYOR ARRESTED AS DEM CONGRESS MEMBERS STORM NEW JERSEY ICE PRISON TO CONDUCT ‘OVERSIGHT VISIT’
“If you assault a law enforcement officer, we will also make sure you answer to justice,” she added. “So, I think that arrests are still on the table for this. This is an ongoing investigation.”
DHS reportedly has body camera footage of Congress members assaulting ICE officers, “including body-slamming a female ICE officer,” Axios reported.
A group of protesters, including the lawmakers, stormed the detention center as a bus of detainees was entering the security gate, according to a news release from DHS.
After the incident, McIver wrote in an X post that ICE “shoved” her and “manhandled” Watson Coleman.
WHITE HOUSE BLASTS DEMS ‘CROSSING THE LINE’ BY STORMING ICE FACILITY
During a press conference, McIver escalated her claims, saying she was “assaulted by multiple ICE officers while regional directors of ICE watched it happen.”
DHS footage posted to X Saturday appears to show McIver barreling unprovoked through law enforcement near the gate.
“WATCH: US Congresswoman LaMonica McIver (wearing a red blazer), storms the gate of Delaney Hall Detention Center ASSAULTING an ICE agent,” DHS captioned the video.
DHS officials have not yet confirmed any pending charges against those accused of storming the center.
Watson Coleman, who also accused an ICE agent of shoving her, wrote in an X post that she, McIver and Menendez visited the center Friday “to exercise our oversight authority as Members of Congress.”
ICE FACILITY DEMOCRATS ‘STORMED’ HOLDS CHILD RAPISTS, MURDERERS: OFFICIALS
DHS officials confirmed those being held at the contested prison include “murderers, terrorists, child rapists and MS-13 gang members.”
“Contrary to a press statement put out by DHS we did not ‘storm’ the detention center,” Watson Coleman wrote. “The author of that press release was so unfamiliar with the facts on the ground[s] that they didn’t even correctly count the number of Representatives present.”
Baraka was handcuffed, detained for five hours and formally charged with trespassing.
“They did this on a charge of trespass, a municipal charge which would normally be handled by way of a ticket,” Baraka’s attorneys wrote in a statement provided to Fox News. “His subsequent release by the court demonstrates that there was no reason to believe that this well-known and widely respected public official was either a flight risk or a danger to the community that he served.”
BIDEN TELLS ‘THE VIEW’ HE WASN’T SURPRISED HARRIS LOST, BLAMES SEXISM AND RACISM
Baraka’s attorneys maintained that the mayor was exercising his First Amendment rights and “acted throughout with calm, restraint and dignity in a law-abiding manner.”
They also accused Alina Habba, the U.S. attorney for New Jersey, of “repeatedly” making “inaccurate, inflammatory, and unfair” public statements.
In an X post Friday, Habba wrote, “The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon. He has willingly chosen to disregard the law. That will not stand in this state. He has been taken into custody. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.”

SNL’s Trump skit floats wild theory about pope’s death with JD Vance as punchline
“Saturday Night Live” is no stranger to poking fun at religion, but its latest sketch is drawing criticism for suggesting Vice President JD Vance may have played a role in the death of Pope Francis.
The episode opened with a sentimental musical number dedicated to moms ahead of Mother’s Day. The song was abruptly interrupted by a parody of President Donald Trump, played by cast member James Austin Johnson. The opening monologue of the show has consistently been focused on the president for weeks.
“It’s me again, invading all aspects of your life,” Johnson’s Trump said as he took the stage. He quickly shifted the tone by commenting on the Catholic Church’s recent election of a new pope.
“We have an American Pope, Chicago-style, no ketchup,” he joked about Pope Leo XIV, who was born in Chicago, Illinois. “But we like Pope Leo. We hope he does what we want. That’s what you want the Pope to do.”
SNL COMPARES TRUMP TO JESUS IN EASTER SKETCH MOCKING ECONOMY AND FAITH: ‘DONALD JESUS TRUMP’
The sketch took a darker turn when the parody Trump implied that Vice President Vance may have had something to do with Pope Francis’ death.
“Otherwise, I’ll have to send JD back to do his thing. Remember last time JD met the pope?” he said, referencing the fact that Vance met Pope Francis just one day before the pontiff’s death.
Vance was, in fact, the last known world leader to meet with Pope Francis, visiting him on Easter Sunday last month. The pope passed away the following day.
SNL SAYS TRUMP’S BEEN IN OFFICE ‘100 YEARS’ WHILE MOCKING PAPAL AMBITIONS AND EXECUTIVE ORDER FRENZY
The sketch went on to blame Vance for a string of international crises, with Johnson’s Trump saying, “He’s got the Meidas touch, but for bad things. He meets the pope? Dead. Goes to India? War! Joins my campaign? Trump wins!”
Following news of Pope Francis’ death, Vance expressed his condolences on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I was happy to see him yesterday, though he was obviously very ill,” Vance wrote, in part. “But I’ll always remember him for the below homily he gave in the very early days of COVID. It was really quite beautiful. May God rest his soul.”
Still, the timing of the meeting spurred conspiracy theories and jokes online. John F. Kennedy’s grandson even posted to his over a hundred thousand of X followers: “Okay JD killed the pope.”
SNL SKIT TAKES AIM AT TRUMP’S TARIFFS AND TESLA VANDALISM: ‘MAKE AMERICA GREAT DEPRESSION AGAIN’
Vance has not responded to the online speculation directly, but in an interview with Fox News Digital, he reflected on the meeting as a profound moment.
“I was one of, if not the very last world leader to actually meet with the pope,” Vance said. “I took one of my relatively junior staffers, who is a devout Catholic, and I looked back at him when he was about to meet the pope, and he was crying–it sort of drives home how important this, not just this man, but this institution is to over a billion people worldwide.”
After the meeting, Vance flew to India for a diplomatic visit. He learned of Pope Francis’ passing after he landed.

The SNL sketch didn’t stop at the Vance-pope connection. It went on to mock Catholicism itself, likening the religion to popular American institutions.
“We love Catholics,” Johnson’s Trump said. “It’s one of the stronger Christian organizations, along with Salvation Army, and I want to say Chick-fil-A.”
Throughout the season, the long-running sketch comedy show has repeatedly questioned President Trump’s faith, and for their Easter-themed episode, compared Trump to Jesus.

White House ‘super mom’ goes viral feeding baby while holding down the press room
A photo of White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt tackling her other big job went viral Thursday.
Just before Mother’s Day, Leavitt was photographed feeding her nine-month-old son Nicholas Robert Riccio, nicknamed “Niko,” while typing at her desk. The photo was captured by Margo Martin, special assistant to the president and communications advisor, and posted on her official White House account.
Martin was impressed by Leavitt juggling the two tasks, a rare glimpse of the press secretary behind-the-scenes when she is not at the podium fielding questions from reporters.
WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY KAROLINE LEAVITT PRAYS BEFORE FACING REPORTERS
“Walked in to @PressSec typing with one hand, and feeding her son with the other. Super Mom!” Martin posted on X. It had more than 9 million views on X as of Friday afternoon.
Leavitt is married to 59-year-old Nicholas Riccio, a successful real estate developer. The couple got married in January, just days before President Donald Trump’s inauguration. They got engaged in December during the Christmas holiday in 2023.
Their son, Niko, was born on July 10, 2024.
According to The Sun, Leavitt has been open about her work-life balance as a mother of a newborn baby.
The Sun reported in February that Leavitt shared in her Instagram story a picture of her baby with the caption: “Work at white house, baby bedtime routine, & then @seanhannity at 9pm.”

Leavitt, 27, is the youngest White House press secretary in U.S. history.
She started her career in the White House as an intern during President Donald Trump’s first term before later joining the staff as an assistant press secretary under former White House press secretary, and now Fox News co-host, Kayleigh McEnany.
Leavitt did not immediately return Fox News Digital’s request for further comment.
Man and dog found dead — what officials say about the bear is a chilling first
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) on Friday confirmed a man and his dog were mauled to death by a black bear in Jerome — marking the first fatal black bear attack in state history.
Family members reported 89-year-old Robert Markel missing from his home and “signs of recent disturbances” that could have been caused by a bear or bears around the property.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) notified FWC staff on Monday of a possible fatal wildlife encounter, and FWC law enforcement and bear management staff immediately responded to secure the area.

Markel’s remains were found about 100 yards from his home, along with evidence of a “physical encounter” between a bear and a person near the house, according to a news release from the FWC.
Officials also noted a dog was recently killed by a bear near a person, and there were signs that a bear had entered the home itself.
NIH CLOSES EXPERIMENTATION LABS ACCUSED OF BRUTALLY KILLING THOUSANDS OF BEAGLES FOR 40+ YEARS
While the exact sequence of events remains unclear, the FWC’s Human-Bear Conflict Response Policies and Guidelines outline how the agency should respond when faced with situations that require the removal of a bear for public safety.
From Monday night into early Tuesday morning, FWC personnel killed three adult male bears weighing 207, 263 and 434 pounds, according to the release.
There was an unsuccessful attempt to trap a fourth bear, but DNA evidence was collected, officials said.
The three carcasses were immediately taken to laboratories in Gainesville for necropsy and testing, along with DNA samples collected from physical evidence at the scene.
FWC officials said the Collier County Medical Examiner is still in the process of completing their investigation, but indicated Markel’s preliminary cause of death was “consistent with injuries caused by a black bear.”
WORLD’S TALLEST, SHORTEST DOGS MEET FOR PRECIOUS PLAYDATE CAUGHT ON CAMERA
Necropsy results revealed that one bear, the 263-pound male, contained partial remains of Markel.
DNA results received on Friday positively identified that the 263-pound male’s DNA was present on Markel, inside his home and on the dog’s body.
The only bear DNA found at the scene matched the three bears that were killed by authorities.
All three bears were tested for rabies, and all results were negative, according to officials.
FWC law enforcement and bear management staff stayed in contact with the family and maintained a presence near the property until Friday, spotting only one additional bear in the area.
Law enforcement and bear management staff will remain throughout the weekend.

“We want to thank the family for their cooperation as they navigate this challenging time, and our thoughts remain with them,” said FWC Chairman Rodney Barreto. “I am proud of our staff’s professional response and support for the family as they faced an unfathomable event this week.”
Jerome is in the South Bear Management Unit, which has the third-largest population of bears in the state, estimated at 1,044 in 2015.
The FWC received 16 bear-related calls within a 10-mile radius of nearby Copeland between May 5, 2024, and May 4, 2025, resulting in five site visits, five capture efforts, three bears that were relocated and hazed, and one bear that was humanely killed, according to the FWC.
While it is rare for wild black bears to injure people in Florida, people have been bitten and scratched by bears, most often when there are cubs, food sources or dogs present.

The FWC receives an average of 6,300 bear-related calls annually and has documented 42 prior incidents where wild black bears have made physical contact with people since the 1970s, when comprehensive records began being kept.
Of those, three resulted in serious injuries requiring medical attention prior to the most recent incident.
Feud between country stars spills out in public, and their duet is the first victim of it
Zach Bryan is taking a stand against a critic.
The “Something in the Orange” singer took to Instagram Friday to call out another singer-songwriter, John Moreland, for a subtle dig he seemingly made about him on his own account.
“$350 M is a lot to pay for the f—in off-brand version of me,” Moreland wrote to his Instagram story. “Y’all have a great day.”
ZACH BRYAN BACKLASH OVER BREAKUP IS LATEST CONTROVERSY AFTER ARREST, DRUNKEN TAYLOR SWIFT COMMENT
Variety reported earlier this week that Bryan had made a new deal with his label, Warner Records, to extend his contract to include at least two more albums. The outlet claimed that he has also either sold or is currently in the process of selling his publishing catalog, and that together, the two deals total $350 million.
Bryan, who wrote and recorded a duet with Moreland called “Memphis; The Blues” on his 2024 album “The Great American Bar Scene,” shared a screenshot of Moreland’s comment and added a response of his own.
“Yooo just saw this from an artist I’ve always respected and supported,” he wrote. “Not trying to be dramatic but refuse to have anyone with a problem with me on my records. Replacing Memphis the Blues. If it goes down for a bit just know this is the reason!”
He added, “No hard feelings! Confused as s—, Tulsans look out for Tulsans!”
In another post, Bryan said that his message would be the last he commented on the matter, explaining, “Not partial to arguing with butt hurt grown men.”
“Memphis; The Blues” is currently unavailable on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, though Bryan has assured his fans that this is only temporary.

“Gonna re-release it btw!!!” he wrote in another Instagram post. “All is well!! All is well.”
Moreland did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
This isn’t Bryan’s first time posting about another artist on social media. Last year, the singer deactivated his X account after making a comment about Taylor Swift.
“Eagles > chiefs, Kanye > Taylor, who’s with me,” he tweeted before deleting the message and later shutting down the account. He then explained his line of thinking in a series of posts on his Instagram story.
“For the record guys I wasn’t coming for Taylor the other night,” Bryan wrote on top of a screengrab of Swift’s song with Post Malone, “Fortnight,” on Instagram. “I was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong.”
The “Heading South” singer acknowledged the longtime feud between Swift and West, as he continued to explain, “I know there’s a lot of stuff that clouds around Ye and I was speaking purely musically. I love Taylor’s music and pray you guys know I’m human and tweet stupid things often.”

Tom Cruise’s rumored love interest left LA due to Ben Affleck romance
From action-packed movie roles to high-profile relationships, Ana de Armas is no stranger to the spotlight.
However, the 37-year-old Cuban actress – who has recently been photographed out and about with Tom Cruise – has no interest in living a life in the public eye.
During an interview with Elle in 2022, the “Blonde” star, who had a brief relationship with Ben Affleck in 2020, said the constant interest in her love life while dating the “Gone Girl” actor was “horrible.”
“Which is good,” she added. “That’s one of the reasons why I left L.A.”
TOM CRUISE, ANA DE ARMAS SPOTTED STROLLING TOGETHER IN LONDON PARK ON HER 37TH BIRTHDAY
De Armas, who grew up in Cuba before relocating to Spain at 18, moved to Los Angeles when she was 26 years old, in hopes of making a name for herself as an actor and director.
But she got more than she bargained for.
In 2020, De Armas sparked a relationship with her “Deep Water”co-star, Affleck. The actress broke off their roughly one-year relationship because she didn’t want to be Los Angeles-based, reports said at the time of the split. The actress and Affleck split in January 2021, and insiders claimed the breakup was “amicable.”
ANA DE ARMAS SAYS ‘HORRIBLE’ ATTENTION ON BEN AFFLECK RELATIONSHIP LED HER TO LEAVE LOS ANGELES
“There is deep love and respect there,” a source told People magazine at the time. “Ben continues to want to work on himself. He has three jobs lined up, and he’s a solid father at home. They are both happy with where they are in their lives.”
Another insider close to the former couple added that “she broke it off.”
“Their relationship was complicated,” the insider added. “Ana doesn’t want to be Los Angeles-based and Ben obviously has to, since his kids live in Los Angeles.”
BEN AFFLECK, ANA DE ARMAS SPLIT AFTER ALMOST 1 YEAR OF DATING: REPORT
One year later, de Armas confirmed that building a life in Los Angeles was just not in the cards for her.
“Going through it [myself] confirmed my thoughts about, ‘This is not the place for me to be,’” she told Elle. “It became a little bit too much. There’s no escape. There’s no way out. It’s always the feeling of something that you don’t have, something missing. It’s a city that keeps you anxious.”
In an effort to escape public scrutiny, the “No Time to Die” star said she intentionally stays away from the internet.
ANA DE ARMAS SEEMINGLY ADDRESSES RUMORS THAT SHE’S DATING EX BEN AFFLECK AGAIN: ‘I DON’T THINK SO’
“I deleted Twitter years ago,” she told Elle at the time. “I have barely been on Instagram for almost a year.”
Most recently, however, de Armas and Cruise, who are reportedly collaborating on a project, have been spotted together in London on several occasions over the past few months, fueling rumors of a potential romance.
Speculation began to swirl when the pair were photographed together for the first time on the night before Valentine’s Day.
On Feb. 13, the two were pictured walking through London’s Soho neighborhood as de Armas carried what appeared to be takeout bags of food from a restaurant. The two stopped for photos with fans before leaving in a taxi together.
A source later told People magazine that Cruise and the “Ghosted” actress had dined out with their agents, saying they were “discussing potential collaborations down the line.” The insider claimed that Cruise and de Armas “appeared to have no romantic connection” and were “just friends.”
However, the duo further fueled dating speculation when they were again photographed together on March 14 as they arrived at the London Heliport by helicopter at night.

While speaking with People, a source said that Cruise and de Armas echoed the statements made about them, and insisted they are collaborating on an upcoming project, but are not romantically involved.
According to the insider, director Liman also accompanied the two on the trip, but further details about the project were not disclosed.
The 62-year-old actor and de Armas were most recently seen chatting as they walked down a path in a London park on the “Knives Out” star’s 37th birthday last week.
In a photo and video captured by a bystander and shared on X, Cruise was seen wearing a white polo t-shirt with dark blue jeans while de Armas sported a light-colored t-shirt with jeans, white sneakers and a brown crossbody bag.
Cruise walked next to de Armas with his hands behind his back and was holding what appeared to be an olive green dog leash with a pouch. The pair were accompanied by another woman as well as security guards during their outing.
Celebrity matchmaker Alessandra Conti previously told Fox News Digital that she doubts the relationship between Cruise and de Armas is actually platonic, noting the two are both guarded about their private lives.
“Since his devastating and public split with Katie [Holmes], he has kept a low profile when it comes to his personal life. However, his new relationship with Ana de Armas could be his big comeback into being in a celebrity power couple,” Conti said.
“As a matchmaker in Beverly Hills for nearly 13 years, it is clear that Tom was gravely affected by the public nature of his relationship with Katie and was gun-shy and incredibly private with any other potential romances since the split back in 2012.”
TOM CRUISE AND ANA DE ARMAS FUEL ROMANCE RUMORS AFTER STEPPING OUT IN LONDON AGAIN
“The fact that he was seen publicly with Ana is a huge deal,” Conti added. “My celebrity clients know exactly how to keep their love lives under wraps if that is their desire. So, this is a clear indicator that he is feeling secure about the potential of this romance, though sources are saying that it is merely because they are in a film together.
“Even if they are simply working together, as a celebrity matchmaker, I believe this couple is incredibly compatible for a number of reasons and do think that this could be a lasting Hollywood match if they give it a chance to blossom.”
