Trump reacts to Biden’s prostate cancer: ‘Somebody is not telling the facts’
President Donald Trump spoke candidly about former President Joe Biden’s recent prostate cancer diagnosis on Monday, expressing sympathy while also suggesting that the situation should be investigated.
Biden’s team announced the diagnosis on Sunday afternoon, saying the former statesman “was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms.”
“On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement added.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” Biden’s team concluded. “The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”
‘SMALL NODULE’ FOUND IN BIDEN’S PROSTATE DURING ROUTINE EXAM, SPOKESPERSON SAYS
Speaking to reporters on Monday afternoon, Trump called the news “very sad, actually.”
“I’m surprised that … you know, the public wasn’t notified a long time ago because to get to stage nine (sic), that’s a long time,” Trump said. “I just had my physical. … We had the doctors at the White House and over at Walter Reed, which is a fantastic hospital. I did a very complete physical, including cognitive tests.”
Trump also referenced Biden’s cognitive decline during his presidency, stating that “anybody running for president should take a cognitive test.”
“They say it’s unconstitutional. But I would say in that particular case, having a cognitive test wouldn’t be so bad,” the Republican said.
Trump also posited that the public “wasn’t informed” about Biden’s medical situation and suggested that the situation should be investigated.
OBAMA REACTS TO BIDEN CANCER DIAGNOSIS
“I think somebody is going to have to speak to his doctor if it’s the same, or even if it’s two separate doctors,” Trump said. “Why wasn’t the cognitive ability, why wasn’t that discussed? And I think the doctor said he’s just fine. And it’s turned out that’s not so. It’s very dangerous.”
The president concluded by saying the cancer diagnosis is “a very, very sad situation and I feel very badly about it.”
“I think people should try and find out what happened, because I’ll tell you … I don’t know if it had anything to do with the hospital,” Trump added. “Walter Reed is really good. There’s some of the best doctors I’ve ever seen.”
“Somebody is not telling the facts,” he concluded. “It’s a big problem.”
News of Biden’s aggressive cancer diagnosis shocked the country over the weekend. After receiving bipartisan messages of sympathy, the 82-year-old thanked his supporters on social media on Monday.

Social media erupts after Schumer blames Trump for deadly Brooklyn Bridge shipwreck
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was ripped on social media over the weekend for suggesting President Donald Trump was partially to blame for a Mexican Navy ship losing control and crashing into the Brooklyn Bridge.
“After being fully briefed on last night’s Brooklyn Bridge accident, one thing is predominantly clear: there are more questions than answers as it relates to exactly how this accident occurred,” Schumer said in a press release after a 150-foot-tall Mexican Navy training ship, Cuauhtémoc, reportedly experienced a mechanical issue before its masts crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge, killing two cadets on the ship.
“Bridges serve as critical transportation arteries for commerce, emergency response, and daily travel, and many span key waterways that are vulnerable to both natural and man-made threats. The Coast Guard plays a crucial role in monitoring and securing these areas, deterring potential terrorist attacks, preventing illegal activities, and responding quickly to emergencies,” Schumer wrote. “At the same time, maintaining the structural integrity and safety of America’s bridges is critical to the economy and the well-being of communities. A failure or attack on a major bridge could disrupt supply chains, endanger lives, and cause massive economic losses. It is unacceptable that the Trump administration is potentially jeopardizing our national and economic security – as well as American lives.”
Schumer went on to point to the DOGE-implemented hiring freeze at the Coast Guard, arguing it could have impeded the Coast Guard’s Vehicle Traffic System, which works in a similar fashion to the air traffic control system.
TRUMP SAYS ‘THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG’ WITH TOP DEMOCRAT HE’S KNOWN ‘A LONG TIME’
Schumer’s claim drew immediate criticism from conservatives on social media as well as the Department of Homeland Security.
“Minority Leader Schumer’s accusations that a hiring freeze led to the U.S. Coast Guard’s Vessel Traffic Services not being adequately staffed are FALSE,” the official DHS account posted on X.
“The US Coast Guard has been fully supported and been exempt from hiring freezes. Additionally, this incident had nothing to do with Vessel Traffic Services— when a ship loses propulsion in a high current area, the vessel needs to engage all capabilities to stop and ideally tugs are nearby to support. We encourage Minority Leader Schumer to get his facts straight before he misleads the American people.”

Former Biden advisor says he did not suddenly develop cancer in 100 days
Former Biden COVID advisor and Obamacare architect Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel said Monday that former President Joe Biden likely had cancer since the beginning of his presidency, if not before.
Biden’s office confirmed in a statement on Sunday that he had been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that “was characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”
Based on the advanced state of the cancer, Emanuel, an oncologist, told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Biden would most likely have had the cancer for “more than several years.”
Host Joe Scarborough stopped him to clarify, “So this is not speculation. If you have prostate cancer that has spread to the bone, then most certainly you are saying he had it when he was President of the United States.”
MEDICAL EXPERT ‘ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED’ BY TIMING OF BIDEN’S PROSTATE CANCER DIAGNOSIS
“Oh, yeah. He did not develop it in the last 100-200 days,” Emanuel said. “He had it while he was president. He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021. I don’t think there’s any disagreement about that.”
Scarborough pointed out how some men over the age of 70 choose not to get a prostate exam but added “most men aren’t President of the United States.”
Emanuel said that it’s often a discussion between patients and doctors but agreed it’s concerning when it involves a sitting president.
“President Obama had this test. President Bush had this test. It is a little surprising that the doctor didn’t take it. And if he took it and didn’t report it, and it was elevated, that is another case of doctors not being straightforward with us – we’ve had several of them with President Trump, especially around his COVID diagnosis – and if that is true, that would be very troubling,” Emanuel said.
CNN’S AXELROD SUGGESTS DISCUSSIONS AROUND BIDEN’S MENTAL ACUITY SHOULD BE SET ASIDE AMID CANCER DIAGNOSIS
He added that it was possible for a test to miss this stage of cancer but called it “unlikely.”
“Either they didn’t test for it, or they test for it [and] they didn’t report it. And we didn’t get the information as a public,” Emanuel said.

Caitlin Clark responds to WNBA investigation of alleged hate speech to Angel Reese
Caitlin Clark addressed the WNBA’s investigation into alleged “hateful comments” toward Angel Reese during a shootaround on Monday as the Indiana Fever prepare for the Atlanta Dream.
The WNBA launched its investigation on Sunday as the league condemned “racism, hate and discrimination in all forms.” There were no specifics detailed about the alleged incident.

“There’s no place for that in our game,” Clark told reporters, via the Indy Star. “There’s no place for that in society. Certainly we want every person that comes into our arena, whether player, whether fan, to have a great experience.
“I appreciate the league doing that. The Fever organization has been at the forefront of that since, really, day one, what they’re doing. Hopefully the investigation — we’ll leave that up to them to find anything and take the proper action if so.”
Pacers Sports & Entertainment CEO Mel Raines issued a statement on the matter.
“We are aware of the allegations of inappropriate fan conduct during yesterday’s game and we are working closely with the WNBA to complete their investigation,” Raines said. “We stand firm in our commitment to providing a safe environment for all WNBA players.”
ESPN STAR SUGGESTS CAITLIN CLARK-ANGEL REESE INCIDENT BECAME TALKING POINT FOR MORE THAN RACIAL REASONS
The Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA) also released a statement, calling “such behavior unacceptable.”
“The WNBPA is aware of reports of hateful comments at yesterday’s game in Indianapolis and supports the WNBA’s current investigation into this matter,” the union said. “Such behavior is unacceptable for our sport.
“Under the WNBA’s ‘No Space for Hate’ policy, we trust the league to thoroughly investigate and take swift, appropriate action to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.”
The WNBA launched its “No Space for Hate” campaign before the 2025 season tipped off. The campaign will include the use of AI social media monitoring tools that will help the league enforce a revised code of conduct.
“As part of the comprehensive plan, the WNBA is rolling out an AI-powered technology solution to monitor social media activity, in partnership with players and teams, to help protect the community from online hate speech and harassment,” it said.
A revised WNBA fan code of conduct includes regulations for fans on social media, and threats of sanctioning those fans from official content if they are violated. The new policy lists racist, homophobic, sexist, sexual, threatening or libelous content as “subject to blocking or deletion.”

“Repeat violations of these guidelines may result in the violator no longer being able to follow our news, comment on our posts or send us messages,” the policy reads. “Additionally, any direct threats to players, referees or other league and team personnel may be referred to law enforcement and may result in the violator being banned from all WNBA arenas and events.”

“The FBI and our law enforcement partners remain out on the street this evening searching for the remaining six. If you have any information please call 1-800-Call-FBI or send us a tip online,” the post continued.
Price, 21, was charged with seven counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree battery, aggravated assault with a firearm, false imprisonment with a weapon, domestic abuse, simple assault, aggravated criminal damage to property and resisting an officer, according to officials.
Authorities said that some fugitives may have left the city or the state of Louisiana, and the public has been urged to stay alert, not be alarmed and report any tips. The FBI in a statement said it has “surged resources” and is offering up to $5,000 for tips leading to the arrest of the inmates.
A source confirmed to Fox News that authorities have come close to detaining others, but the “timing has been off.”
The source added it’s possible the remaining fugitives have left New Orleans, but it’s believed most, if not all of them, are still here.
Mariska Hargitay unveils the identity of her biological father
Mariska Hargitay has been keeping a family secret for more than 30 years.
At the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, the “Law & Order: SVU” star revealed at the premiere of her documentary, “My Mom Jayne,” that her biological father is former Las Vegas entertainer Nelson Sardelli. She was raised by late actor and bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay.
The actress admitted to Vanity Fair that she struggled with the idea of “knowing I’m living a lie my entire life.” But the answer eventually became clear to her.
‘LAW & ORDER: SVU’ STAR MARISKA HARGITAY’S REAL-LIFE HERO MOMENT DURING TV INTERVIEW
“I grew up where I was supposed to, and I do know that everyone made the best choice for me,” she said. “I’m Mickey Hargitay’s daughter. That is not a lie. This documentary is kind of a love letter to him, because there’s no one that I was closer to on this planet.”
“He was my everything, my idol,” shared the 61-year-old about the patriarch, who died in 2006 at age 80. “He loved me so much, and I knew it. I also knew something else; I just didn’t know what I knew.”
Growing up, Hargitay always felt she was different from her siblings, the outlet shared. It wouldn’t be until her 20s that she learned why.
In 1963, Hargitay’s mother, Jayne Mansfield, filed for divorce from Mickey. She then embarked on a high-profile romance with Sardelli. The actress went on to reconcile with Mickey several months before Hargitay’s birth in 1964.
When Hargitay was in her 20s, someone showed her a photo of the Italian entertainer. According to the outlet, Hargitay “immediately knew in her bones” that Sardelli was her biological father.
“It was like the floor fell out from under me,” she said in “My Mom Jayne.”

Mansfield died in 1967 from injuries she sustained in a car crash. She was 34. Hargitay was 3 years old and asleep in the back seat of the car when it rammed into a truck.
After suspecting that Sardelli was her biological father, she confronted Mickey. He denied it. According to the outlet, the encounter was “so shattering” that she never mentioned Sardelli to Mickey again.
At age 30, Hargitay went to see Sardelli perform in Atlantic City. When she introduced herself, he burst into tears, telling her, “I’ve been waiting 30 years for this moment.”
Hargitay suddenly became fiercely protective of her father, the man who raised her and her siblings after her mother’s death.
“I went full Olivia Benson on him,” she told Vanity Fair about her first meeting with Sardelli. “I was like, ‘I don’t want anything. I don’t need anything from you … I have a dad.’ There was something about loyalty. I wanted to be loyal to Mickey.”
Hargitay eventually forged a bond with Sardelli, 90, and his daughters. But when it came time to tell her story, she said “many people” were hesitant about the film coming out. But in time, both families gave Hargitay their blessing. The documentary features interviews with Hargitay’s siblings: Jayne Marie, Zoltan and Mickey Jr.

The Sardelli sisters “wept and wept” when they saw a private screening of the documentary in Las Vegas, the outlet revealed.
“These two women that I love so much – I made them secrets!” said Hargitay. “It’s so heartbreaking to me. … I’m not good with lies. So, I also made this movie to unburden all of us.”
The film also helped Hargitay address the loss of her mother.
“I don’t remember the accident,” she said. “I don’t even remember being told that my mom had died. I looked at photos, and I don’t really remember anything until I was 5.”
Mansfield, born Vera Jayne Palmer, was an aspiring actress who spoke several languages and played violin and piano. A casting director suggested she bleach her hair, wear tighter dresses and adopt a Marilyn Monroe-inspired voice. The “dumb blonde” persona stuck and Mansfield skyrocketed to fame in Hollywood. But like Monroe, Mansfield struggled to be taken seriously as an actress.

“When I would hear that fake voice, it used to just flip me out,” Hargitay recalled. “‘Why is she talking like that? That’s not real.’ [But] my dad would always say, ‘She wasn’t like that at all. She was like you. She was funny and irreverent and fearless and real.'”
Trump economist predicts two major moves will ignite economic golden age
White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett says an economic “liftoff” could be on the horizon – as the promise of trade deals, upcoming clarity on tax cuts and promising job numbers set the stage for a major turnaround.
“There are going to be a lot of trade deals and there’s going to be clarity on the tax cuts and then firms are going to lift off,” he told FOX Business on Monday.
“Even before that happened, we’re getting really strong jobs numbers. First quarter capital equipment investment was north of 20 percent, one of the best quarters ever, because all of America knows that the golden age is coming, and we’ve got to start building stuff before everybody else gets in front of us.”

Hassett predicted that the second half of 2025 will see growth “way north” of three percent and potentially north of four percent, setting the stage for one of the “better years we’ve ever had.”
“Even with the uncertainty… that I’ve written widely about over the last 25 years… we’ve got strong jobs numbers and strong investment, so once the uncertainty is lowered, then a liftoff from there is really going to be something to see.”
STEPHEN MOORE: WHY MOODY’S CREDIBILITY SHOULD BE QUESTIONED AFTER DOWNGRADE OF US FEDERAL BONDS
On the heels of Moody’s Ratings downgrading the U.S. credit rating by one notch due to persistent fiscal deficits last week, Hassett dismissed the move on “Mornings with Maria.”
“Sec. Bessent said, ‘It’s a backward-looking thing, penalizing us for all the reckless spending of the Biden administration.’ But we’re cutting spending, we’re deregulating, we’ve got supply-side growth, so we’ve got every reason in the world to believe that we’re going to have the best economy on Earth,” he said.

TikTok users claim McDonald’s ‘McMigraine’ combo relieves headaches, doctors weigh in
Some McDonald’s customers on TikTok claim that a certain food and drink combination from the fast-food restaurant can get rid of their migraines — though doctors are quick to share other headache remedies.
A migraine is a headache that can cause “severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head,” according to the Mayo Clinic.
Common effects include nausea, vomiting and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. The attacks can last for hours or even days, interfering with daily activities, the same source noted.
MCDONALD’S SECRET DRINK ITEM WITH ‘COTTON CANDY FLAVOR’ GOES VIRAL
Taking a trip through the McDonald’s drive-thru might help, some customers claim.
One viral video – which has over three million views and counting – shows a woman sitting in her car in a McDonald’s drive-thru, sipping a soda and eating fries. The text said she’s doing this “because I’ve had a headache for 48 hours and TikTok said it would help.”
Other videos suggest a large Coca-Cola drink and an order of large fries – “lovingly called the McMigraine,” Dr. Brintha Vasagar told Fox News Digital – can make the pain go away.
“There is some science [as] to why it works,” noted the Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based family medical physician.
While this viral food hack may help alleviate the symptoms, it isn’t a cure, a doctor cautioned.
The caffeine and the carbonation in Coca-Cola are two of the reasons, according to Vasagar.
“If you think about most over-the-counter migraine treatments, the medications themselves can contain a dose of caffeine,” she said.
MCDONALD’S CHEF REVEALS WHY COFFEE FROM FAST-FOOD GIANT TASTES SO GOOD
The caffeine constricts or narrows the blood vessels, which can provide migraine relief for some people, the doctor added.
The carbonation can help settle the stomach for those who experience nausea with their headaches.
When it comes to the salty fries, the sodium can help correct electrolyte balance and dehydration — “which can be triggers,” Vasagar said.
The carbohydrates in the fries can also help settle the stomach, she added.
Another element, Vasagar said, is the “psychological benefit of comfort food.”
FAST-FOOD MENU ITEMS THAT CHEFS LIKE TO EAT
“For many of us, fast food, McDonald’s, it’s that nostalgia. It’s that feeling of, ‘This is going to be comforting and make me feel better.'”
One person on TikTok wrote, “I work in neurology and our headache specialist literally recommends this to patients.”
Another person wrote that only Coca-Cola is effective, not Diet Coke. Others agreed with that.
“There is no scientific reason that one Coke over another should be beneficial for migraine treatment,” Vasagar clarified.
“I really think that piece plays into the psychological part of it — what feels comforting to people when [they’re] feeling ill.”
‘Not a prevention method’
This viral food hack isn’t a cure, the doctor pointed out.

“This isn’t a prevention measure,” Vasagar said. “It’s not like you can do the ‘McMigraine’ every day and never get a migraine again. That’s just not the way it works.”
Also, drinking a large Coke and eating a bunch of fries could make matters worse for some.
“Triggers for migraines vary from person to person,” Vasagar warned. “So, this combination for some people will make their migraines worse.”
Dr. Tania Elliott, a New York-based physician who specializes in allergies and internal medicine, told Fox News Digital that a better quick-fix solution is to stay hydrated.
“Consider having a little bit of caffeine, maybe in the form of matcha or green tea,” and keep your electrolytes up, she suggested.

“You’re getting the benefits of addressing the potential underlying issues of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, but you’re not having the increased risks and unhealthy contributors from eating French fries and a Diet Coke,” Elliott added.
