General Situation
A southerly airstream affected the coast of Guangdong today. Upper-air disturbances also brought showers and thunderstorms to the region. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with a few showers. It was hot with sunny intervals during the day. The southerly airstream is expected to bring very hot weather to the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. A trough of low pressure will edge closer to the coast of southern China on Saturday. There will be a few showers over the region during the weekend.

Mainly cloudy with isolated showers. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees in the morning. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light to moderate southerly winds.
