Financial guru Dave Ramsey sends blistering message to lawmakers
Financial expert Dave Ramsey delivered a fiery rebuke to Washington lawmakers Monday, urging them to “do [their] job” and defend Americans’ hard-earned money.
Ramsey also went to bat for small businesses, revealing the one thing that is “kill[ing]” America’s main street.
DAVE RAMSEY REVEALS HOW HE TAUGHT HIS CHILDREN FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND WHAT GEN Z CAN LEARN FROM IT
“Do your job and get something passed that lets us keep our money. It’s pretty simple,” the Ramsey Solutions founder and CEO said at the EntreLeadership Summit in Denver, Colorado.
Ramsey’s comments come in response to the Trump administration’s “big, beautiful bill,” that just passed the House after a standoff with GOP holdouts. It must pass the Senate before heading to President Donald Trump’s desk where he will sign it into law.
“It’s all this political infighting, this absolute BS, at the end of the day. Except for these massive things like, again, just governing. This idea that we love small business in Washington is an absolute load of horse manure,” he argued.
SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS SPEAK OUT ABOUT EFFECTS OF TRUMP TARIFFS: ‘UNSUSTAINABLE’
Ramsey continued, pulling no punches in describing small business owners’ frustrations with the federal government.
“These guys in here will tell you, they spent half their lives and a lot of money just trying to keep from getting the snot beat out of them by Washington,” Ramsey continued, referring to the many small business owners at the summit.
The financial expert continued, pulling back the curtain on what he believes to be the big killer for small businesses.
“If Congress will do [its] job and pass this bill or some semblance of this bill and let us keep our money to hire people and grow the economy, that’s how this thing works. And if you can get, you know, the tariff thing smoothed out where you’ve got a predictable environment. It doesn’t even matter what the tariff is. What we need is a predictable environment.”
US CONSUMER SENTIMENT DROPS TO NEAR RECORD LOW IN MAY ON INFLATION WORRIES, TARIFF UNCERTAINTY
“If I know this is what my cost is, then I know that this is [what] my price is. Or I know I can’t make it in that country anymore, I need to make it a different country. And I’ve got to resource, you know, reset my resources.”
Ramsey emphasized the burden of political uncertainty, particularly around trade and taxes. He concluded by saying it is one of the most destructive forces to small business success.
“All I need is a predictable environment, and then I’ll pivot and I’ll exist. It’s the unpredictability that kills business in general, but it’s devastating to small business,” Ramsey concluded.

Despite small business owners’ mounting concerns, the Trump administration continues to tout that tariffs are part of the administration’s broader push for “fair trade policies.”
“Tariffs are part of fair trade policies that will restore our workforce, rebuild our economy, and finally put America first,” the administration has stated.
Michelle Obama says she is ‘very invested’ in Airbnb CEO’s ‘love life’
Former first lady Michelle Obama raised some eyebrows on her podcast when she marveled at the prospect of being a single woman with the opportunity to stay at the house of Airbnb’s co-founder and CEO, Brian Chesky.
Chesky has opened his own home as an Airbnb, writing, “Starting today, my home is now on Airbnb (yes, this is my actual home and I’ll be there when guests are here).” He noted in the following thread that his house features amenities such as freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, a friendly golden retriever, and freshly brewed coffee. He also noted, “We will work out together and train until total muscle failure (after we’ve eaten lots of cookies).”
The offering is wildly popular, Chesky has noted, saying, “I had some weekends available in January, February and March, but they booked out even before I posted this. I’ll keep opening more weekends throughout the year.”
MICHELLE OBAMA SLAMS DIVORCE RUMORS DURING PODCAST INTERVIEW
The former first lady hosted Chesky on her “IMO” podcast, noting to her brother and co-host Craig Robinson that she and former President Barack Obama regard the CEO as a close friend, “If I had a son, I would want my son to be Brian.”
As Michelle Obama greeted Chesky on Wednesday’s episode, she expressed her excitement.
“I usually don’t get to talk to you in an interview format, so let’s pretend like it’s just us at dinner somewhere with me, poking you and prodding you on how life is,” she said.
The conversation addressed Chesky’s routine for hosting guests, where he explained how he would prepare dinner for them on the first night of their stay. When he mentioned his much-touted cookies, Mrs. Obama asked why she had not had them yet. Chesky answered that she would need to book a stay at his Airbnb to try them herself.
The Airbnb CEO went on to note that his guests have all been great so far, but noted one went to great lengths to have an opportunity to stay with him.
“I have to say, Brian, if I’m a single girl out there, and I find out that Brian Chesky is single, and I can, like, stay in his house, have you ever -“
“Here she goes,” Robinson said. “Right to the relationship. Brian, you don’t have to feel pressure.”

“We’ve never talked about this,” the former first lady said.
“He just got here!” Robinson replied.
Chesky noted, “Her and her husband have tried to set me up before.”
“I’m very invested in Brian’s love life,” Mrs. Obama agreed.
When asked by Robinson about Barack Obama’s efforts to help with matchmaking for Chesky, the CEO was slightly coy. He said that it “remains to be seen” whether the former president is good at making love connections.
However, Chesky claimed Barack Obama is “definitely very invested, and he’s provided a lot of relationship advice to me, actually.”
Photos reveal damage to warship following botched launch ceremony
Satellite imagery captured what remained of a mangled 5,000-ton North Korean naval destroyer damaged during its launch ceremony this week, leaving the country’s dictator distraught.
A photo captured by Maxar Technologies of the northeastern port of Chongjin, shows the ship apparently twisted and lying on its side, partly lodged on a launch slip and partly submerged in water.
The secretive communist nation covered the would-be warship with a blue tarp.
KIM JONG-UN LEFT FUMING AFTER NORTH KOREA’S NEW DESTROYER DAMAGED IN FAILED LAUNCH
Mexar Technologies also snapped a satellite photo of the ship before the launch, looking pristine as it prepared for its first voyage.
But that voyage was put on hold after a flatcar guiding the ship failed to move during the launch, throwing the warship off balance and crushing parts of its bottom before its stern eventually slid down the launch slipway into the water, state media reported.
North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was reportedly fuming over the botched launch, which was intended to show the nation’s military might but instead became an embarrassment on the world stage.
State media also reported on Kim’s fury.
KIM JONG UN SUPERVISES NORTH KOREA’S AIR DRILLS, PUSHES FOR ENHANCED WAR PREPARATION
He reportedly blamed military officials, scientists and shipyard operators for a “serious accident and criminal act caused by absolute carelessness, irresponsibility and unscientific empiricism.”
The extent of the damage to the destroyer is unclear, though Kim demanded that repairs be completed before the communist Working Party’s meeting in June.
The dictator, known for his brutality as much as his secrecy, ominously warned that during that meeting, mistakes caused by the “irresponsibility of the relevant officials” would be investigated.
Under Kim’s rule, North Korea has been focused on building an arsenal of military weapons in what it regards as a response to western aggression.
In March, Kim personally oversaw tests of AI-powered suicide drones, unmanned exploding drones that can be used to launch an attack without putting the attackers’ lives in danger. He reportedly called for an increase in production of those drones.
He also recently claimed the country was in the process of building a nuclear submarine.

In its first real showing of military force since the Korean War in the 1950s, an estimated 15,000 troops were sent to Russia to fight alongside the fellow communist nation in its war against Ukraine.
South Korea claimed in late April that 600 of those troops had been killed.
Trump admin targets ‘Deep State’ with plans to overhaul National Security Council
President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are continuing to overhaul the National Security Council and shift its main functions to other agencies like the State and Defense departments.
The latest efforts to slim down a federal agency come weeks after Trump announced former National Security Advisor Mike Waltz would depart his post at the White House overseeing the agency and serve as UN ambassador. Waltz himself began the streamlining process in January, when, in one of his first moves as Trump’s national security adviser, he ordered 160 NSC staffers off the job pending a comprehensive review of the agency’s alignment with Trump’s agenda.
HEGSETH, SIGNAL QUESTIONS DOG WALTZ AS POTENTIALLY PERILOUS UN AMBASSADOR CONFIRMATION HEARINGS LOOM
The current plans to upend the agency would include whittling down the size of the National Security Council, which the Trump White House believes is full of long-term, bureaucratic staffers who don’t align with Trump’s agenda.
Additionally, the restructuring will move Andy Barker, national security advisor to Vice President JD Vance, and Robert Gabriel, assistant to the president for policy, into roles serving as deputy national security advisors.
Axios was the first to report the Trump administration’s restructuring plans. A White House official confirmed Axios’ reporting to Fox News Digital.
A White House official involved in the planning said Trump and Rubio are driving the change in an attempt to target Washington’s so-called “Deep State.”
“The NSC is the ultimate Deep State. It’s Marco vs. the Deep State. We’re gutting the Deep State,” a White House official told Axios.
NEXT US NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR? HERE’S WHOM TRUMP MIGHT PICK TO REPLACE WALTZ
The National Security Council is located within the White House and provides the president guidance on national security, military and foreign affairs matters.
Waltz’s departure from the agency followed his involvement with other administration officials, like Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, in the Signal chat controversy over strike plans against the Houthis in March.
MIKE WALTZ, OTHER NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL STAFFERS OUT IN LATEST TRUMP PURGE FOLLOWING SIGNAL CHAT LEAK
But Waltz had been focused early in his short tenure on the issue of what the Trump administration considers “deep state” infiltration of the agency. The former Green Beret and Florida congressman was especially concerned about Biden administration political appointees and holdovers assigned to the NSC from other agencies.
Since Waltz’s departure earlier this month, Rubio has taken on the role of national security advisor. That’s in addition to leading the State Department and serving as acting archivist and acting administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, which the administration is aiming to dismantle this year.

Fox News Digital was the first to report that the State Department planned to absorb the remaining operations and programs USAID runs so it would no longer function as an independent agency. The move requires cutting thousands of staff members in an attempt to bolster the efficiency of the existing, “life-saving” foreign assistance programs, according to a State Department memo Fox News Digital obtained.
Diddy’s defense ‘way behind’ after jury heard shocking testimony: expert
During the first two weeks of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking trial, the jury heard from the rapper’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, male escorts, ex-assistants and former Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents.
The prosecution has roughly six weeks to prove Diddy helmed a criminal enterprise used to sexually exploit women, including Cassie. Authorities charged Diddy with multiple counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transporting for prostitution in 2024.
“Week two of the Combs trial helped the prosecution corroborate Ventura’s testimony through independent witnesses and establish the elements of sex trafficking and racketeering,” former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani told Fox News Digital. “The defense scored some points on cross-examination, but I think they’re way behind.”
However, other experts noted the defense is doing a “great job” using the prosecution’s witnesses to bolster their arguments during cross-examination.
CASSIE VENTURA EMERGES AS ‘STAR WITNESS’ IN DIDDY’S FEDERAL SEX CRIMES TRIAL: EXPERT
“The defense is doing a great job at exploiting witness testimony to support their theory of the case and show that while Mr. Combs may be a ‘bad actor’ when it comes to domestic violence, etc. — something no one is condoning — the federal charges are unsubstantiated based on the testimony we have heard to date, in my opinion,” attorney David S. Seltzer told Fox News Digital. “While we cannot hear the testimony in real time because we are in Federal Court, I think the Government is not meeting their burden to date.”
Entertainment lawyer Tre Lovell noted that while the jury has heard “consistent” testimony from the witnesses, reasonable doubt “looms very heavy” after the first two weeks.
“To date, we have heard consistent testimony from several of the witnesses that Diddy was violent with Cassie Ventura, was controlling over her, instructed what to do in the ‘freak offs’ and was a jealous boyfriend, but none of this is sufficient to justify a criminal enterprise or a pattern of criminal conduct,” Lovell, of The Lovell Firm, explained. “Cassie’s relationship can be as easily characterized as she was in love with Diddy, performed ‘freak offs’ because of her feelings for him and stayed with him for personal benefits such as furthering her career, developing connections, and being taken care of financially. Reasonable doubt looms very heavy in these first two weeks of trial. The prosecution will need to bring out additional victims that are not girlfriends of Diddy to separate a romantic, emotionally charged relationship from actual sex trafficking.”
“To date, we have heard consistent testimony from several of the witnesses that Diddy was violent with Cassie Ventura, was controlling over her, instructed what to do in the ‘freak offs’ and was a jealous boyfriend, but none of this is sufficient to justify a criminal enterprise or a pattern of criminal conduct.”
DIDDY SUNK $35 MILLION INTO MIAMI MANSION, BUT STAR ISLAND DIGS MAY NOT BE SAFE IF HE’S CONVICTED: EXPERT
On Thursday, the jury heard from rapper Kid Cudi — who testified that he had a romantic relationship with Diddy’s ex, Cassie, in 2011. Kid Cudi testified that when Diddy found out about the relationship, he broke into the musician’s home and later allegedly set fire to his car. However, there was no definitive evidence to prove Kid Cudi’s claims.
“Ventura told Kid Cudi that Combs would hit and kick her, but Combs’ lawyers elicited testimony that Cassie never said anything about sexual abuse, which is important,” Rahmani, founder of West Coast Trial Lawyers, said. “Kid Cudi broke up with Ventura because Combs was violent, and he was concerned for his own safety. He also said Ventura was playing both him and Combs. That’s a central theory for the defense: that Ventura is a strong, independent woman who made her own decisions, including willingly participating in the swingers lifestyle.”
“Reasonable doubt looms very heavy in these first two weeks of trial.”
While there were flaws in the prosecution’s presentation of Kid Cudi’s testimony, it was still “important because arson is an underlying crime for a RICO conspiracy,” Rahmani explained.
“That allows the prosecution to potentially get a racketeering conviction even if the jury believes the ‘freak offs’ were consensual and there was no sex trafficking,” he added. “If the jury doesn’t find trafficking, they can still convict on racketeering if they find that Combs engaged in kidnapping, arson, extortion or prostitution.”
DIDDY TRIAL WITNESS REVEALS THREATS AND VIOLENCE THAT COULD SUPPORT RICO CHARGES: EXPERT
Male exotic dancer Sharay Hayes, also known as The Punisher, testified to having sex with Cassie at the request of Diddy and said that the encounters were always consensual. He told the jury that he didn’t get any cues of any discomfort from Cassie, and that if he had, he would have stopped. Diddy’s defense lawyer doubled down, asking if Hayes ever did anything to Cassie that she didn’t want. Hayes replied no. He claimed it was consensual.
“The scenario I was there to create… was going well,” he said during cross-examination.
Hayes spoke to Fox News Digital about his “nerve-wracking” experience testifying in the rapper’s trial.
“Honestly, going into the courtroom… I thought I was prepared for it, but it was extremely nerve-wracking,” he told Fox News Digital. “So I want to say, for almost the entire time of my testimony, I avoided eye contact. I avoided even looking in [Diddy’s] direction. And then actually going into that environment, you can’t really prepare yourself and I had no idea it was going to be that many people, that many rows and tables. So I wanna say, for about half of the testimony, I couldn’t even locate where he was. It was a really intense atmosphere.”
WATCH: MALE ESCORT THE PUNISHER MADE DIRECT EYE CONTACT WITH DIDDY AFTER LEAVING COURT
Hayes also admitted that he “never truly understood what part of my testimony was valuable” to the prosecution.
“I really thought my testimony — because there was nothing negative, nothing whatever — I really thought it was something that the defense would benefit them,” he said.
“I’m not a legal analyst or anything, but sometimes I said, well, maybe the prosecution just wants to question me and have everything in case the defense calls me,” Hayes added. “Because I really couldn’t understand how I was significant to their case. But there’s probably something there that I’m just unaware of.”
“I really couldn’t understand how I was significant to their case. But there’s probably something there that I’m just unaware of.”
According to Seltzer, The Punisher’s testimony “did not help” the prosecution.
“The government is trying to put the pieces together for a RICO charge, but so far the testimony of The Punisher and Kid Cudi did not help them,” he told Fox News Digital. “The Punisher, I believe, bolstered the defense position that all the activities were consensual, and that Cassie was a willing participant, stating he observed Ventura ‘sighing or wincing’ at Combs’ repeated directions, he interpreted it ‘as frustration’ with the situation rather than unwillingness to participate. Furthermore, stating he believed their experiences were ‘completely natural.’ Kid Cudi’s recount of decade-old allegations also assisted the defense, which was supported by the Judge sustaining an objection by the defense when it came to a speculative statement that Mr. Combs committed burglary and/or arson.”
“The police in both those allegations could not connect Mr. Combs to the incidents, and the ‘apology’ by Mr. Combs years later, in my opinion, is not an admission to anything other than, sorry we had issues regarding Ms. Ventura,” Seltzer added. “The government put on a Homeland Security agent to show all the items seized in Mr. Combs’ house. That tactic is a continuation of the government trying to paint Mr. Combs as a bad actor, someone the jury can convict because he is devious and reprehensible, but the testimony of the drugs, firearms and baby oil still do not support the charges.”
DIDDY TRIAL: CASSIE VENTURA’S TOP 5 CLAIMS AGAINST RAPPER
Cassie Ventura’s mother Regina Ventura and former best friend Kerry Morgan were both called to the stand by the prosecution to testify against Diddy.
“Regina Ventura, Cassie’s mom, testified for only 15 minutes, but it was some of the most impactful testimony of the trial,” Rahmani explained. “Regina also took pictures of Cassie’s bruises and they were shown to the jury. Combs was upset Cassie was in a relationship with Kid Cudi and Combs demanded that Cassie pay him $20,000. If Cassie refused, Combs said he would release two sex tapes of her and send someone to hurt her and Kid Cudi. Regina took out a home equity line to pay Combs the money.
“This testimony proved coercion, which is an element of sex trafficking, and extortion, which is a RICO predicate act. It also corroborates Cassie’s account that she was beaten and Combs used the freak off tapes as blackmail.”
Morgan, who claimed she saw Diddy become physically abusive with Cassie on a handful of occasions, was one of the “best witnesses so far,” according to Rahmani.
“She saw Combs punch and drag Ventura across the floor,” he explained. “After the hotel attack, Combs came to Ventura’s apartment and banged on the door with a hammer. Combs controlled every aspect of Ventura’s life: her finances, her apartment, her car, and her career. This control explains the psychology of abuse and is evidence of coercion for the sex trafficking charges.”

The prosecution has also been presenting evidence of Diddy’s alleged criminal enterprise with testimony in the past two weeks, according to Rahmani.
“David James, Combs’ former assistant, took the stand and told jurors that he got condoms, Astroglide and Percocet for Combs. This helps prove the criminal enterprise,” he noted.
“One of Combs’ other assistants, George Kaplan, testified under a grant of immunity that he would pick up drugs for Combs and set up the hotel rooms with baby oil and Astroglide for the ‘freak offs,’ the attorney said. “He would also clean up the drugs and hotel rooms after the ‘freak offs.’ He also described a number of incidents where Combs was violent with Ventura: on his private jet with broken glass, and in his home with Ventura having bruising on her face. This was more evidence of the criminal enterprise, with Combs as the head.”

The jury has heard from at least one expert witness so far, Dr. Dawn Hughes. The clinical psychologist took the stand to provide “blind testimony” about why a person would stay in an abusive relationship.
“The psychology expert was helpful to the prosecution in answering a lingering question that every juror most certainly has: if Cassie was being trafficked and forced to do all these horrific things, why did she stay? The lay person would probably assume she stayed because she had feelings despite Diddy’s bad conduct,” Lovell said. “The expert was able to provide an alternative reason emanating from abuse trauma where victims become controlled by the perpetrator and feel trapped and helpless.”
“She testified it was about the power and control abusers have over the victim, which were the very buzz words the prosecution needs for the sex trafficking charge,” he added. “She was helpful to the prosecution, both for providing a reason for Cassie staying other than she loved Combs, as well as the force and coercion elements necessary for sex trafficking.”

Trump Treasury unleashes ‘full-frontal assault’ on deadly southern border cartel
The Trump Treasury Department’s new sanctions are a “full-frontal assault” on one of the deadliest southern border cartels, a local border official told Fox News Digital.
The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned two high-ranking Cartel del Noreste (CDN) members, Mexican nationals Miguel Angel de Anda Ledezma and Ricardo Gonzalez Sauceda, Wednesday.
CDN was one of eight cartels and transnational criminal groups labeled “foreign terrorist organizations” by the Department of State Feb. 20.
Under new sanctions announced this week, all property and interest in properties belonging to De Anda and Gonzalez that are in the United States or in the possession or control of U.S. persons are blocked.
EXCLUSIVE: ILLEGAL ALIEN WHOSE DEPORTATION WAS PAUSED BY ‘ACTIVIST’ JUDGE SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A DISABLED WOMAN
While announcing the sanctions, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the department is “working toward the total elimination of cartels to make America safe again” and that the Trump administration “will hold these terrorists accountable for their criminal activities and abhorrent acts of violence.”
“CDN and its leaders have carried out a violent campaign of intimidation, kidnapping and terrorism, threatening communities on both sides of our southern border,” said Bessent. “We will continue to cut off the cartels’ ability to obtain the drugs, money and guns that enable their violent activities.”
ICE BEGINS NEW, NATIONWIDE EFFORT TO ARREST ILLEGAL ALIENS AT IMMIGRATION HEARINGS
Paul Perez, who leads the National Border Patrol Council chapter in the South Texas Rio Grande Valley, told Fox News Digital even though the Trump administration’s border crackdown has dramatically reduced illegal crossings, the cartels, including CDN, continue to present a threat to the lives and safety of American citizens living on the border.
“The threat of cartels is still there,” Perez said in an interview with Fox News Digital. He noted that “the thing about the cartels is that they’re very sophisticated,” explaining they have begun using advanced technology like drones to carry out their operations.
“They’re not the street gang-level managers,” he said. “They’ve got a lot of people on their side that have been in this industry for a long time. They know how to get their products moving. They know how to get their product across.”
In Mexico, Perez said, the cartels control the border and “act with impunity all along the border,” while the Mexican police and military are unable to stop them.
He said cartel gunfights along the border often lead to cartel members fleeing north into the U.S., where “they’re going to do everything they can to get away and get back. And if that means harming American citizens, then they’re going to do that.”

When it comes to CDN, Perez said “they engage in grotesque conduct,” such as beheadings and kidnappings and “will harm anybody that gets in their way” regardless of whether they are American or otherwise.
“What I can tell you about the Noreste cartel, they’re no different than any other cartels out there, the Sinaloa cartel. They’re all deadly cartels. They all traffic in fentanyl. They all traffic in drugs. They are trafficking people,” he explained.
TRUMP ADMIN PROMISES TO BE ‘RUTHLESSLY AGGRESSIVE’ IN RESPONSE TO SUSPECTED CARTEL KILLING OF US CITIZEN
By targeting CDN’s leadership, Perez said the Trump administration is effectively weakening the cartel by creating a power vacuum that will cause infighting that will further sap the organization’s strength.
“The cartels are definitely going to feel it,” he said. “So, it’s a full-frontal assault from the United States.

“That’s the protection that we’re bringing to the border that we weren’t able to bring under President Biden,” he added.
“President Trump, on the campaign trail, and since he’s been in office, has repeatedly said he’s going to do everything he can to protect the United States, to protect its citizens and make sure that there’s nobody around that can do harm to our country. And he’s doing that. He’s taking on the cartels. He’s not afraid of them.
“We want to decimate the cartel activity that’s going on in the United States. So, he’s done what he said he was going to. We support that 100%.”
Harris called Cooper a profanity after interview about Biden debate, book says
Former Vice President Kamala Harris had some nasty things to say about CNN anchor Anderson Cooper after their 2024 interview, according to a new book.
CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson’s new book, “Original Sin,” claimed that the former vice president called Cooper a “motherf—–” to her colleagues last summer following a tense interview the two had over former President Biden’s debate with then-GOP candidate Donald Trump.
“This motherf—– doesn’t treat me like the damn vice president of the United States, she said to colleagues,” the excerpt read.
JAKE TAPPER’S BOOK IS ‘A SLAP IN THE FACE’ TO ANYONE WHO QUESTIONED BIDEN’S FITNESS FOR OFFICE, LINDY LI SAYS
Harris allegedly added, “I thought we were better than that.”
The account from Tapper and Thompson’s book provided details about Harris’ mood following the June interview where he grilled her over her boss’ dismal performance in his debate with Trump.
During the conversation, Cooper did not hold back, telling her there were Democratic lawmakers who lamented Biden’s performance.
“One said it was a disaster and another called it a trainwreck. Those are Democrats especially worried that Biden did not punch back on Trump‘s lies,” he said.
MEDIA FIGURES SHOCKED AT BIDEN’S ‘BAD’ DEBATE PERFORMANCE: ‘TOTAL AND COMPLETE DISASTER’
She responded, “People can debate on style points, but ultimately, this election and who is the president of the United States has to be about substance.”
The anchor cut her off with another question, asking, “You debated against then-Vice President Biden four years ago, and he was a very different person on the stage four years ago when you debated him. That‘s certainly true, is it not?”
She dismissed Cooper’s insinuation that Biden’s mental decline was on display for the world to see at the debate, responding, “I got the point that you’re making about a one-and-a-half hour debate tonight,” Harris said. “I‘m talking about three-and-a-half years of performance in work that has been historic.”

Harris appeared visibly frustrated with Cooper’s line of questioning. When asked if the man on the debate stage was the same person she’d been working with in the White House, she snapped, “I‘m not going to spend all night with you talking about the last 90 minutes when I‘ve been watching the last three-and-a-half years of performance.”
Tapper and Thompson’s book appeared to corroborate Harris’ anger towards Cooper that night. They wrote, “After the interview, Harris was visibly angry with Cooper. He had been asking the questions the nation had been wondering, but she took it personally.”
Reps for Harris did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital for comment.

Man awakes to discover 443-foot cargo ship nearly crashed into his home
When Johan Helberg said he wanted a waterfront view, he didn’t expect the waterfront to come to him complete with a 443-foot cargo ship.
Helberg awoke on Thursday to discover the massive bow of the NCL Salten resting a stone’s throw from his home in Byneset, Norway, near Trondheim.
The vessel had run aground in the early hours, narrowly missing Helberg’s house by approximately 16 feet.
NO DISTRESS CALLS MADE FROM MEXICAN NAVY TALL SHIP THAT CRASHED INTO BROOKLYN BRIDGE, MEXICO NAVY CHIEF SAYS
Remarkably, Helberg said he slept through the entire incident. He was only alerted to his unexpected visitor when a concerned neighbor rang his doorbell.
“I went to the window and was quite astonished to see a big ship,” Helberg told The Guardian newspaper. “I had to bend my neck to see the top of it. It was so unreal.”
Authorities have determined that the ship’s watch officer, a Ukrainian national in his 30s, fell asleep while on duty, leading to the vessel veering off course.
AT LEAST 2 DEAD AFTER MEXICAN NAVY SAILING SHIP COLLIDES WITH BROOKLYN BRIDGE IN DRAMATIC NYC CRASH
The officer has been charged with negligent navigation. No injuries or oil spills were reported, but the incident did cause minor damage to a heating pump’s wire on Helberg’s property.
And this isn’t NCL Salten’s first grounding. The ship previously ran aground in 2023, but managed to free itself without assistance.
Efforts to refloat the ship during high tide on Thursday were unsuccessful.
The Norwegian Coastal Administration is conducting geotechnical assessments before making another attempt. Shipping company NCL has stated it is cooperating with the investigation.

As for Helberg, he remains in good spirits despite the unexpected intrusion.
“It’s a very bulky new neighbor, but it will soon go away,” he quipped.
Christian worker files EEOC complaint after being fired over pronoun policy
EXCLUSIVE: Spencer Wimmer, a Wisconsin man, is asking the Trump administration to intervene after he says he was fired for refusing to use preferred pronouns that conflict with a person’s biological sex—forcing him, he claims, to choose between his livelihood and his faith.
While the Trump administration has moved to roll back DEI and gender ideology workplace requirements, Wimmer, a devout Christian, argues that private citizens are still experiencing workplace discrimination tied to such policies.
Now, after filing a religious discrimination complaint through the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) to the Trump U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), he said he hopes President Donald Trump will do something about it.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Wimmer said that he had worked hard to be a “model employee” during his five years at Generac and was in good standing with the company, having received several positive performance reviews and promotions. He said he expected to have a long, fruitful career at the power equipment company. That is, until he was suddenly pulled into a meeting with human resources and confronted about his refusal to use someone’s preferred pronouns.
‘UNLAWFUL DEI-MOTIVATED’ WORKPLACE DISCRIMINATION TO BE ROOTED OUT BY TRUMP’S NEW ACTING EEOC CHAIR
Wimmer says that his refusal to use preferred pronouns is rooted in his deeply held Biblical, religious belief that there are only two genders and that a person cannot switch between one and the other.
He explained that he had prior experience working with transgender people and even had a good working relationship with one of his colleagues who was transgender. However, after Wimmer had to clarify with HR that he could not in good conscience use his transgender colleagues’ preferred pronouns, he was reprimanded for “unprofessional” conduct.
According to WILL, the firm representing Wimmer, Generac HR representatives told him that his request to refrain from using transgender pronouns on religious grounds “did not make any sense.” Wimmer was issued a written disciplinary action note that stated “refusal to refer to an employee/subordinate by their preferred name/pronouns is in violation of the company’s Code of Business Conduct and No Harassment Policy.”
After an entire month in which he said he felt both targeted and bullied for his religious beliefs, Wimmer was fired from his supervisor role at Generac Power Systems on April 2. According to WILL, he was not allowed to collect his personal belongings and was escorted out of the building.
Wimmer described the entire episode as “heartbreaking.”
THE SUPREME COURT APPEARS TO SIDE WITH PARENTS IN RELIGIOUS LIBERTY DISPUTE OVER STORYBOOKS
“I was asked to choose between my livelihood and my love for God and my beliefs,” said Wimmer, adding that it was very emotional having everything kind of ripped out from under me.”
In its complaint to the EEOC, WILL argues that Generac violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. WILL asserts that Generac violated Wimmer’s rights despite there being no harassment complaints filed against him.
Cara Tolliver, an attorney with WILL, told Fox News Digital that she believes his case carries a broader significance that could impact Americans across the country.
She said that Wimmer’s case puts recent Supreme Court precedent set in a 2023 case called Groff v. DeJoy to the test, challenging the validity of an employer’s compelled gender affirmation policy against an employee’s sincerely held religious beliefs.
“Employers, I think, have kind of become seemingly fixated on a lot of identity politics in the workplace, including the topic of gender identity,” she said. “But it’s crucial to keep in mind that even where Title VII may provide some protection to employees against workplace discrimination and harassment on the basis of a gender identity, this does not supersede or eliminate Title VII protections against religious discrimination and the fact that religious discrimination is illegal.”

“There was absolutely a way for us to work together and have a compromise where we continue to have a professional environment,” he said. “Unfortunately, there are individuals and there are organizations and structures in place that won’t let you have compromise. The fact that you have these beliefs is unacceptable to them. So, no amount of compromise is possible.”
In response to Fox News Digital’s request for comment, a spokesperson said: “We do not comment on employment matters nor comment on pending litigation.”
