Clinton attacks Republican women and forgets her own hypocritical behavior

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Hillary Clinton is back and doing what she does best: trashing women. She wants to make sure we know that the basket of deplorables is also sexist.

During a conversation at the 92nd Street Y in New York City last month, Clinton was asked by Margaret Hoover, host of “Firing Line” on PBS, if she had any advice for the eventual first female president of the United States.

Clinton took this opportunity to take a swipe at Republican women. “Well, first of all, don’t be a handmaiden to the patriarchy, which kind of eliminates every woman on the other side of the aisle, except for very few.”

HILLARY CLINTON BASHES REPUBLICAN WOMEN, SAYS GOP FEMALE PRESIDENT WOULD BE ‘HANDMAIDEN TO THE PATRIARCHY’

Most Republican women are just “handmaidens to the patriarchy,” just there to support the men, according to her. Would Hillary Clinton ever do such a thing?

Clinton first rose to prominence because her husband was governor of Arkansas and then president of the United States. On his coattails she later became a U.S. senator from New York. After she ran for president and lost the nomination to Barack Obama, she was appointed Secretary of State, yes, by a man.

While president, Bill Clinton carried on an affair with a White House intern and then lied about it under oath. He was impeached by the House of Representatives for perjury and obstructing justice.

During the time that he engaged in this cover-up, his wife Hillary was out in front lambasting Republicans for daring to challenge her husband. She coined the phrase “vast rightwing conspiracy” to wave away the charges against him.

In later years Hillary denied that Bill’s relationship with Monica was an abuse of power since Monica was “an adult,” despite the fact that he was leader of the free world and she was a recent college graduate doing an internship.

BILL CLINTON PREDICTS THAT USA IS LIKELIER TO ELECT A FEMALE IF SHE’S ‘A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN WOMAN’

This wasn’t the only time Hillary Clinton snuggled right up to the patriarchy. When Bill Clinton was running for president in 1992, he was dogged by accusations he had had a longtime affair with Gennifer Flowers. Hillary Clinton, no girl’s girl, denied that her husband would do such a thing and added “You know, I’m not sitting here, some little woman standing by my man like Tammy Wynette.” It wasn’t enough to defend her husband. Hillary had to take a shot at women who made the same choice she would end up making, to stand by her man. Criticizing other women to defend a man, is there anything more patriarchal?

Her husband wasn’t the only man Hillary Clinton would protect and defend in this way. In a New York Times story after Harvey Weinstein was exposed as a sexual predator, two well-known women said that they warned Hillary Clinton’s team about her close relationship with Weinstein.

Actress Lena Dunham and magazine publisher Tina Brown both made explicit warnings about Weinstein to Hillary Clinton’s team during both of her presidential races. After the accusations against Weinstein became public, Hillary’s team issued a statement hitting back at Dunham specifically for contacting them instead of going to authorities, noting “Only she can answer why she would tell them instead of those who could stop him.”

Some champion of women.

Hillary doesn’t like when women won’t do as they are told. In 2018, still bitter over her drubbing in the 2016 presidential election by Donald Trump, Clinton said women who didn’t vote for her were just doing the bidding of the men in their lives. “We do not do well with white men and we don’t do well with married, white women,” Clinton said. “And part of that is an identification with the Republican Party, and a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.” It couldn’t be that women had considered her candidacy and found it wanting. According to her, it must be that men had told these women how to vote.

Hillary always took swipes at women so her latest comments are nothing new. The eventual female president should consider not using women as a punching bag to attain her goals. Thankfully, that president won’t be Hillary Clinton.

Trump questions Putin’s mindset after deadly Ukraine assault: ‘What the hell’

President Donald Trump told journalists that he was “not happy” with Russia’s recent large-scale strike against Ukraine while speaking to the press on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey, Trump accused Putin of “killing a lot of people” in the attack, which was launched on Sunday afternoon.

I’m not happy with what Putin is doing,” Trump explained. “He’s killing a lot of people, and I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin.”

“I’ve known him a long time, always gotten along with him, but he’s sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don’t like it at all,” he added.

FEDERAL JUDGE BLOCKS TRUMP ADMINISTRATION FROM TERMINATING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ LEGAL STATUS

Trump said that Putin was “shooting rockets into Kyiv and other cities” in the middle of negotiations.

“I don’t like what Putin is doing. Not even a little bit,” the president emphasized. “He’s killing people. And something happened to this guy.”

Trump’s comments came after Russian forces launched hundreds of drones and missiles at Ukrainian cities overnight. The attack, which has been called the largest aerial attack of the war so far, targeted the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.

Ukrainian officials said that at least 12 people were killed and dozens more were injured.

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION BEGINS NEW WAVE OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENT VISA REVOCATIONS: ‘NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO A VISA’

Though past strikes have proven more deadly, the attack is the largest-scale aerial assault of the war in terms of the number of weapons: 298 drones and 69 missiles were launched.

In a post on Telegram, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for an international response to the attack.

“The silence of America, the silence of others in the world only encourages Putin,” he wrote on Telegram. “Every such terrorist Russian strike is reason enough for new sanctions against Russia.”

Trump expanded on his comments later on Sunday, writing on Truth Social that Putin “has gone absolutely CRAZY!” while also criticizing Zelenskyy.

“I’ve always said that [Putin] wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!” the social media post read. “Likewise, President Zelenskyy is doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does. Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop.”

“This is a War that would never have started if I were President. This is Zelenskyy’s, Putin’s, and Biden’s War, not ‘Trump’s,’ I am only helping to put out the big and ugly fires, that have been started through Gross Incompetence and Hatred,” Trump concluded.

Democrats grapple with party image as party remains unpopular following Harris loss

The Democratic Party is continuing to weigh their path forward as some members of the party acknowledge a disconnect on cultural issues and other key voting demographics, The New York Times reported Sunday.

“Over a long period of time, our party overdrew our trust account with the American people,” Rob Flaherty, a former campaign manager for Kamala Harris, told the NYT.

The Times reported that Democrats are still figuring out how to move forward as the party remains unpopular among voters. According to an NBC News poll from March, just 27% of registered voters have a positive view of the Democratic Party, which is the lowest positive rating since 1990.

“We are losing support in vast swaths of the country, in rural America, in the Midwest, the places where I’m from,” Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., told the outlet. “People that I grew up with who now support Donald Trump, who used to be Democrats. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t have the support of these folks, other than we have pushed, in so many ways, these people away from our party.”

DEMOCRATS IN RETREAT, WITH VOTERS SAYING THAT THE PARTY IS NO LONGER A ‘FRIEND OF THE WORKING CLASS’: REPORT

Former DNC chair Jaime Harrison said the Democratic Party needed to figure out how to compete in states “where they’re not.”

The New York Times reported that the party is engaging in one $20 million effort to win back young male voters online. The effort, which is named, “Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan,” according to the outlet, will “study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in these spaces.”

“Above all, we must shift from a moralizing tone,” the plan says, according to the NYT.

Zac McCrary, a Democratic pollster, warned that the Democratic Party’s brand is off-putting to many Americans and cautioned against taking the wrong message from any potential success in the 2026 midterms.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTURE

“The 2022 midterms masked the Biden problem,” McCray said, referring to former President Joe Biden’s age. “A good 2026 midterm — we should not let that mask a deeper problem.”

He added that the party “lost credibility by being seen as alien on cultural issues.”

Democrats were told to “embrace patriotism” and “get out of elite circles” earlier this year during a retreat focused on how to regain the working-class vote.

Documents first obtained by Politico detailed a “Comeback Retreat” held by the center-left political group Third Way last month that sought “to deliberate on why Democrats are struggling with working-class voters around cultural issues, the nature of the economic trust gap with this critical group and ideas for how to address both problems.”

The documents, obtained by Fox News Digital, summarized key takeaways from the retreat on why Democrats have a “cultural disconnect” with the working class and why Democrats are “not trusted” when it comes to the economy.

Most takeaways focused on Democrats’ “faculty lounge” problem of being seen as too judgmental and beholden to their far-left members.

“Democrats are often viewed as judgmental, out-of-touch, and dismissive of those without elite education or progressive views,” the documents read. “This makes the party seem disconnected from everyday people.”

Researchers find ‘something extraordinary’ while searching for Noah’s Ark remains

A group of international researchers say they’re getting closer and closer to identifying the possible remains of Noah’s Ark – and new test results are promising.

The focus of the research, the Durupinar site in eastern Turkey, was first identified in the 1950s.

For decades, it’s been speculated that the boat-shaped site once harbored Noah’s Ark, but no definitive proof has emerged. Now, an organization called Noah’s Ark Scans believes that recent soil samples point toward the site once housing “ancient wood.” (See the video at the top of this article.)

ARCHAEOLOGISTS MAKE GRIM DISCOVERY AFTER FINDING ANCIENT ROMAN BUILDINGS

Researchers collected soil samples from the site last September and analyzed them through this winter. The results “show significantly higher levels of organic matter and potassium compared to surrounding areas,” according to a recent statement from the organization.

“[The results] provide compelling evidence of a unique, potentially man-made structure beneath the surface, distinct from the surrounding mudflow,” Noah’s Ark Scans said.

“These findings suggest the presence of decayed wood or other organic materials, consistent with a large, ancient structure preserved within the mudflow,” the statement added.

Lead archaeological researcher Andrew Jones told Fox News Digital that researchers are registering 2.72 times more carbon inside the “boat-shaped object” compared to its immediate outside location.

“The soil composition is markedly different from the natural mudflow, indicating something extraordinary at this site.”

“The rotting ancient wood inside the boat-shaped area is likely creating a localized soil microenvironment by lowering pH … increasing organic matter [and] elevating potassium,” he said.

ANCIENT JEWISH RITUAL BATH, OLDEST OF ITS KIND IN EUROPE, UNCOVERED BY ARCHAEOLOGISTS

“Rotting wood directly contributes to soil organic matter,” he added.

“As wood decomposes, it breaks down into humus, a stable form of organic matter rich in carbon. This increases the organic matter content in the soil where the wood is located.”

In a statement, soil scientist William Crabtree said the results indicate “something extraordinary.”

“The soil composition is markedly different from the natural mudflow, indicating something extraordinary at this site,” Crabtree stated.

But not all proof of the hypothesis is scientific. The 515-foot-long formation “aligns exactly with the biblical dimensions of Noah’s Ark,” according to Noah’s Ark Scans.

“Unlike the surrounding volcanic mudflow, the site’s unique soil and subsurface anomalies set it apart,” the project noted.

The research builds on previous 3-D ground penetrating radar scans from 2019 that “struck subsurface features,” and found anomalies.

“The scans show a 234-foot central corridor and angular structures – potentially rooms or corridors – extending up to 20 feet deep,” the project noted in a statement. “These right-angled formations, uncommon in natural geological processes, suggest intentional design. “

Jones said the “presence of hallways and room-like structures points to a man-made origin for the boat shape.”

“The re-analysis confirms what we suspected: These are not random shapes in the mudflow,” Jones said.

Though no excavations are planned this year, Jones told Fox News Digital the analysis of the site will continue, with additional geophysical surveys and possible core drilling slated for next year.

“We are focused on more non-destructive techniques to understand what’s below the ground and more soil analysis as well,” Jones said.

The expert added, “Our plan is to do a much larger soil test and take deeper samples from the ground.”

Coastal town moves to seize church property and turn it into recreational hot spot

A New Jersey town has moved to seize a 10-acre church property and turn it into recreational space, outfitted with pickleball courts and soccer fields.

Christ Episcopal Church in Toms River, New Jersey, found itself at the center of a highly charged legal battle after its leaders moved to expand outreach to the area’s homeless population and proposed a 17-bed overnight shelter.

“It didn’t take long for neighbors to become concerned,” Harvey York, the church’s attorney, told Fox News Digital.

On April 30, the Toms River Township Council placed an ordinance on its agenda to condemn the church’s 10-acre site, which includes the parish house, auditorium, school, sanctuary and deacon’s residence, under its eminent domain power.

CHURCH FIGHTS NEW JERSEY TOWN OVER PLANS TO SEIZE PROPERTY AND TURN IT INTO PARK

The town’s plan is to turn the congregation’s property into a recreational area.

“Any governmental agency has the right to condemn property for governmental purposes. That’s clear. However, the township has never thought of this as a recreational site,” York said. “For them to say they need recreational land flies in the face of the facts and their master plan.”

York and his legal team argue that the move to seize the property is the township’s direct response to the church’s shelter initiative.

“It is clear that this is being done in retaliation for the church making an application for a homeless shelter,” he said, pointing to both the constitutional protections for freedom of religion and the federal Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act.

“I don’t know that you’ll find a lawyer who will say, ‘Oh, yeah, they have every right to do this; they’re going to win.’”

Despite rising community support, from local congregants to offers of amicus assistance nationwide, reactions remain mixed within the New Jersey town.

“There are people that are thrilled that the mayor is going to condemn the property,” York said, but he believes “the majority of the community is shocked and dismayed.”

BUSINESS OWNERS TAKE ON CITY THEY SAY IS PLAYING ‘MUSICAL CHAIRS’ WITH PROPERTY IN EMINENT DOMAIN CASE

As for the church’s next steps, litigation is certain.

“The plan will be decided by the diocese,” York said. “But they certainly will litigate the issue, and I believe it will be successful.”

The church’s attorney said the government should “mind their own business and stay out of the religious affairs of the community.”

Five or six hearings have taken place, and the next zoning board meeting is scheduled for May 22. Fox News Digital has reached out to the Township of Toms River for comment on the pending litigation and the hearings.

The church originally applied in July 2023 to operate an outreach center for the homeless, an effort that was approved. According to York, their application for the shelter fully complies with local and state regulations.

IndyCar star blasts Indy 500 as ‘crap race’ after Alex Palou victory, tough restarts

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

IndyCar star Pato O’Ward sounded off about the Indianapolis 500 after Alex Palou passed Marcus Ericsson with 14 laps to go to win the race for the first time in his career.

The Arrow McLaren driver took issue with the lack of fight from Ericsson when Palou passed him for the lead late in the race, as well as how some of the restarts took place.

“Pretty crap race I would say. Just kinda sucks that it went down to — the switcheroo was for the last position of the race and Ericsson actually kinda choked there and let Palou by and just kind of … he just had to pedal it there,” he told FOX Sports. “I don’t think it’s a finish anybody here woulda wanted to see.

“I just feel like there was a bunch of non-experience in the front of the restarts and some of those restarts were pathetic. Those were not of the level that we should be seeing at the Indy 500. It just felt like we were playing roulette in a casino and picking outside or inside and just depending on what everyone else was choosing you either got screwed or you made like 10 positions.”

TOM BRADY TAKES INDY 500 LAP WITH JIMMIE JOHNSON BEFORE RACE BEGINS

O’Ward finished in fourth place after starting the race in third.

“We got hosed there a couple times but we made it back up a little bit after being a bit more in the middle,” he said. “I fought my way as hard as I could.”

There were 44 laps run under caution, starting from the very beginning as rain plagued part of the race and then started with a Scott McLaughlin crash before the green flag waves.

On the first green-flag lap, Marco Andretti crashed into the wall.

However, the race featured 22 lead changes among 14 drivers. It was Palou who ended up in the winner’s circle by the time the race was over.

Police search residence for New Orleans jailbreak escapee, make five arrests

Police made five more arrests in connection with a prison break in New Orleans this weekend, Fox News has learned.

The five arrests make a total of 12 people who have been accused of helping the inmates either before, during or after their escape from the New Orleans Jail last week.

Authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in New Orleans’ 7th District in hopes to find the fugitive Vanburen, but he was not there.
