General Situation
An easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, showers are affecting the region. Locally, about 2 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over the eastern part of Hong Kong Island and Sai Kung District. Besides, the trough of low pressure now over the northern part of southern China is expected to edge closer to the coastal areas later today.
Forecast Description
Mainly cloudy with a few showers. More showers and a few thunderstorms later. The maximum temperature will be around 28 degrees during the day. Moderate east to southeasterly winds, fresh at first, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground.
There will still be more showers at first tomorrow. Showers will ease off but it will be windy on Friday and Tuen Ng Festival. Hot with sunny intervals and a few showers early next week.
