Israeli PM says Trump was marked for death by Iran after tearing up ‘fake agreement’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed in his first interview since Israel launched its blistering attacks on Iran that the country’s Islamic regime had pinpointed President Donald Trump as a threat to its nuclear program and actively worked to assassinate him.

“They want to kill him. He’s enemy number one. He’s a decisive leader. He never took the path that others took to try to bargain with them in a way that is weak, giving them basically a pathway to enrich uranium, which means a pathway to the bomb, padding it with billions and billions of dollars,” the prime minister told Fox News’ Bret Baier during a special Sunday edition of “Special Report.”

“He took up this fake agreement and basically tore it up. He killed Qasem Soleimani. He made it very clear, including now, ‘You cannot have a nuclear weapon, which means you cannot enrich uranium.’ He’s been very forceful, so for them, he’s enemy number one.”

Netanyahu revealed he was also a target of the regime after a missile was fired into the bedroom window of his home. He went on to call himself Trump’s “junior partner” in threatening Iran’s ability to weaponize nuclear arms.

Netanyahu said his country was facing an “imminent threat” of nuclear destruction and was left with no choice but to act aggressively in the “12th hour.”

“We were facing an imminent threat, a dual existential threat,” he said.

“One, the threat of Iran rushing to weaponize their enriched uranium to make atomic bombs with a specific and declared intent to destroy us. Second, a rush to increase their ballistic missile arsenal to the capacity that they would have 3,600 weapons a year…. Within three years, 10,000 ballistic missiles, each one weighing a ton, coming in at mach 6, right into our cities, as you saw today… and then in 26 years, 20,000 [missiles]. No country can sustain that, and certainly not a country the size of Israel, so we had to act.”

LIVE UPDATES: ISRAEL-IRAN CONFLICT

Netanyahu said, by doing so, Israel is not only protecting itself but also protecting the world.

Iran has since retaliated with a large-scale ballistic missile attack on Israeli cities, although many of the projectiles were thwarted.

Netanyahu told Fox News he believes Israel’s offensive measures have set back the Iranian nuclear program “quite a bit,” sharing his belief that negotiations with the terrorism-sponsoring regime were clearly “going nowhere.”

He also said his country is prepared to do whatever is necessary to eliminate the nuclear and ballistic missile threat Iran poses to the world.

Netanyahu has described the operation, coined as Operation Rising Lion, as “one of the greatest military operations in history.” Addressing the Iranian people, he said they had been oppressed for 50 years by the same Islamic regime that has long threatened to destroy the State of Israel.

An encore of Netanyahu’s special interview with Bret Baier will also run at 5 PM/ET on Sunday.

MINNEAPOLIS – Vance Boelter, the suspect accused of shooting two Minnesota state lawmakers, killing one and her husband, was captured on Sunday, multiple law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox News.

Boelter, 57, was captured in Sibley County after a two-day manhunt. He allegedly killed Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, early Saturday morning at their Brooklyn Park home in Minneapolis before allegedly shooting State Sen. John Hoffman, also a Democrat, and his wife, Yvette, in their nearby Champlin home in a related attack.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News that Boelter “verbally” identified himself to authorities searching for him in the area on Sunday evening.

“The face of evil. After relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in custody,” the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. “Thanks to the dedication of multiple agencies working together along with support from the community, justice is one step closer.”

DRAMATIC PHOTOS SHOW MINNESOTA LAWMAKER’S HOME DAMAGED IN SHOOTING AS MANHNUT FOR SUSPECT CONTINUES

Speaking at a press conference alongside other law enforcement officers after Boelter’s arrest, Brooklyn Park Police Department Chief Mark Bruley said there were more than 20 different SWAT teams involved in the search. He described it as “the largest manhunt in the state’s history.”

The manhunt included officers from multiple agencies on foot as well as the use of a helicopter.

There’s no question that this is the largest manhunt in the state’s history.

— Brooklyn Park Police Department Chief Mark Bruley

“The suspect crawled to law enforcement teams and was placed under arrest at that point in time,” Lieutenant Colonel Minnesota State Patrol Jeremy Geiger said.

There was no indication that Boelter was working with anyone else, authorities said.

The Hennepin County District Court issued a criminal complaint charging Boelter with four felony counts of second-degree murder with intent (not premeditated).

The complaint charges Boelter with two counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of Victims 1 and 2 — identified as Melissa and Mark Hortman — and two counts of attempted second-degree murder for the shootings of Victims 3 and 4 — identified as John Hoffman and Yvette Hoffman. All charges are felonies, and each carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum of three years due to the use of a firearm.

Gov. Tim Walz said “the heroic actions by the Hoffman family and their daughter Hope saved countless lives” during a Sunday press conference.

“The latest news is Senator Hoffman came out of his final surgery, and is moving towards that, towards recovery,” Walz said at Sunday night’s press conference.

The complaint alleges that Boelter acted with intent to kill, using a firearm, in attacks against four individuals, including two who were elected officials.

Police documents say that at approximately 2:05 a.m., Champlin Police responded to a 911 call reporting a masked individual had shot two people at a residence. Officers discovered Victims 3 and 4, both of whom had been shot but survived.

Surveillance footage captured a man dressed in police-style tactical gear, later identified as Boelter, approaching the home in a Ford SUV equipped with police-style lights. The footage, authorities allege, showed Boelter announcing himself as a police officer before entering the residence and shooting the victims.

Roughly 90 minutes later, Brooklyn Park Police, having learned that a legislator was involved in the earlier shooting, were dispatched to another legislator’s home as a precaution, documents say.

Upon arrival around 3:35 a.m., officers witnessed Boelter shoot Victim 2 through the open front door. Officers discovered both Victims 1 and 2 deceased from gunshot wounds.

NEARBY STATE ON ALERT AS SEARCH FOR MINNESOTA LAWMAKER SHOOTER CONTINUES

Authorities uncovered a disturbing arsenal in Boelter’s possession, documents said. Inside his vehicle, registered to him, police found three AK-47 assault rifles, a 9mm handgun, and a list of names and addresses of other public officials.

Additional evidence, including a ballistic vest, a mask, and a police-style badge, was recovered nearby.

His bail was set at $5 million.

“There is information that led us to do the searches…in Sibley County,” Bureau of Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans said, adding later that Boelter’s vehicle and a hat that appeared to belong to the suspect were located in that area near his home.

Authorities have said the suspect targeted lawmakers in a planned attack, showing up at their homes wearing a police-like uniform and a mask.

Boulter exploited the trust. Our uniforms are meant to represent,” Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bob Jacobson said during the Sunday evening press conference. “That betrayal is deeply disturbing to those of us who wear the badge with honor and responsibility. We want to thank community members across the state for their support, for their tips and their information.”

POLICE IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN SHOOTING OF MINNESOTA LAWMAKERS AND THEIR SPOUSES

Democratic Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar shared a message from Hoffman’s wife on Sunday, saying the state senator was shot nine times and she eight.

“John is enduring many surgeries right now and is closer every hour to being out of the woods,” Yvette wrote. “He took [nine] bullet hits. I took [eight] and we are both incredibly lucky to be alive. We are gutted and devastated by the loss of Melissa and Mark. There is never a place for this kind of political hate.”

President Donald Trump on Sunday said ICE must “expand efforts to detain and deport” illegal immigrants in “America’s largest [c]ities,” including Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.”

The president’s comment came in a Truth Social post on Sunday evening after a week of anti-ICE protests that have taken place in major cities across the country, with most demonstrations remaining peaceful while others turned into violent riots in places like LA and Portland.

“Our Nation’s ICE Officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they facilitate a very important mission, the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History,” Trump wrote. “Every day, the Brave Men and Women of ICE are subjected to violence, harassment, and even threats from Radical Democrat Politicians, but nothing will stop us from executing our mission, and fulfilling our Mandate to the American People.”

“ICE Officers are herewith ordered, by notice of this TRUTH, to do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History,” the president added.

ICE RAMPS UP ARRESTS OF CONVICTED CRIMINALS AS RIOTS RAGE IN BLUE CITY: ‘YOU WILL NOT STOP US’

The immigration protests began in LA on June 7, after local ICE raids resulted in hundreds of arrests, including the arrests of those with violent criminal histories. The president immediately deployed the National Guard to the area when protests started two weeks ago, garnering criticism from Democrats insisting their presence would only escalate tensions.

As the protests and riots expanded nationally, continuing into this weekend, violence also took hold of certain crowds, injuring both federal and local law enforcement officials, as well as demonstrators.

CALIFORNIA DEMOCRAT DEMANDS ICE ‘RETREAT’ SO LOCALS CAN BE ‘GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO RESTORE ORDER’

On Saturday, an innocent bystander was fatally shot during an organized protest in Salt Lake City, Utah, when two event peacekeepers in neon vests opened fire on a suspect, Arturo Gamboa, 24, who ran toward the crowd with a rifle, and ended up shooting the wrong person.

In spite of the protests, Trump doubled down on his efforts to deport illegal immigrants in his Sunday post.

TRUMP SAYS NATIONWIDE IMMIGRATION RAIDS ON THE WAY, RIOTERS TO FACE ‘GREATER FORCE’ THAN LA

“In order to achieve this, we must expand efforts to detain and deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside,” he said. “These, and other such Cities, are the core of the Democrat Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hardworking American Citizens.”

He added that he wants ICE officers “to know that REAL Americans are cheering [them] on every day.”

FEDERAL OFFICIALS SLAM DEMOCRATS FOR ‘DANGEROUS’ RHETORIC AS ICE AGENTS FACE VIOLENT MOBS IN LA, NYC

“The American People want our Cities, Schools, and Communities to be SAFE and FREE from Illegal Alien Crime, Conflict, and Chaos,” he wrote. “That’s why I have directed my entire Administration to put every resource possible behind this effort, and reverse the tide of Mass Destruction Migration that has turned once Idyllic Towns into scenes of Third World Dystopia. Our Federal Government will continue to be focused on the REMIGRATION of Aliens to the places from where they came, and preventing the admission of ANYONE who undermines the domestic tranquility of the United States.”

ICE has organized several high-profile raids across the country as part of the president’s campaign promise to deliver mass-deportations. Trump promised to prioritize criminal illegal aliens, but critics allege the administration is separating families and targeting non-criminal workers.

Pennsylvania Democrat faces backlash from own party after backing Army celebration

Senator John Fetterman, D-Pa., has voiced support for President Donald Trump’s military parade, saying Americans should support it regardless of politics.

“This parade is comprised of our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers — the very best of us. Regardless of your politics, it’s appropriate to celebrate the 250 years of sacrifice, dedication and service,” Fetterman posted on X, Saturday.

Trump presided over a parade celebrating the 250th anniversary of the US Army in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, in which thousands of Americans flocked to the nation’s capital. The festivities included a display from the Army’s Golden Knights Parachute team, which conducted a jump above the crowd, multiple flyovers, WWII Jeeps on display and members of the military waving to the crowds while riding in tanks down Constitution Ave.

“Every other country celebrates their victories. It’s about time America did, too — that’s what we’re doing tonight,” he said.

“As we celebrate tonight, we also think of the hundreds of thousands of Army soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice for our nation and selflessly laid down their lives in every war, from the revolution to the war on terror, to the Gold Star families with us today,” Trump told the D.C. crowd.

GOVERNORS WARN ANTI-TRUMP ‘NO KINGS’ PROTESTERS AGAINST BECOMING VIOLENT: ‘YOU’RE GOING TO GET ARRESTED’

In Alexandria, Virginia, a “No Kings” anti-Trump protest took place. The protests were a nationwide demonstration against the president, and were also supported by Walmart heiress Christy Walton. Alexandria’s branch was attended by estimates of 1,000 to 5,000 people.

Fetterman was booed by attendees at the “No Kings” rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fetterman, who was elected to the Senate after surviving a debilitating stroke, was once a progressive darling but has since drawn the ire of his party for his views on Israel and immigration.

“Now, this is not a rally for one party, we’ve got Democrats here today. We’ve got Republicans and Independents here today. We are looking to the leaders who will fight for us because, even today, there are folks among the Democratic Party who think we should roll over and play dead. Anyone seen John Fetterman here today?” Leah Greenberg, the co-founder of the progressive nonprofit Indivisible, asked the crowd at the Pennsylvania rally. The crowd roundly booed the senator in response.

The Pennsylvania senator was recently the victim of a scathing New York Magazine profile, in which former staffers accused him of missing votes and being mentally unwell and erratic. Fetterman dismissed the report as “a hit piece from a very left publication,” and told Bill Maher on Saturday that his staff cynically exploited his health issues and turned on him because of his views on Israel and immigration.

“What happened after Israel, and the border, and some of the times I have to disagree with my party, that’s what brought us to that place where kind of a cancelling. It was a little bit of a different thing. Now we’ve all moved on from that… I’ve made 90% of the votes, none of them were determinative, people in the Senate have missed more votes than I did, but they weren’t breaking the kind of rules that I did, so they weaponized that in a very cynical way,” Fetterman told Maher.

Ex-Biden press secretary’s partisan statements reviewed after shock party switch

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Former Biden-era White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre abruptly left the Democratic Party in her rear-view mirror, announcing in June that she had become an Independent after spending more than two years as President Joe Biden‘s top spokesperson and defender.

“Our country has become obsessed with blind loyalty to a two-party democratic system. In her new book, timed for publication just one year after the 2024 election, Karine Jean-Pierre shares why Americans must begin to look beyond party lines and why she chose to embrace life as an Independent,” a press release announcing Jean-Pierre’s upcoming book, “Independent,” stated while revealing that the former spox had ditched the Democratic Party.

“Jean-Pierre didn’t come to her decision to be an Independent lightly, she has served two American presidents, Obama and Biden. . . . She takes us through the three weeks that led to Biden’s abandoning his bid for a second term and the betrayal by the Democratic Party that led to his decision,” the press release continued.

Fox News Digital took a look back at Jean-Pierre’s history as press secretary – which spanned from May 13, 2022, until January 20, 2025 – including the most partisan stances and statements she made in defense of the administration as the immigration crisis spiraled to new highs, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the administration embraced transgender issues, and the White House’s heated rhetoric aimed at President Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election.

FORMER BIDEN OFFICIALS RIDICULE KARINE JEAN-PIERRE’S BOOK AS ‘BIZARRE CASH GRAB’

“We are not finishing a wall. We are cleaning up the mess that the prior administration made. We are trying to save lives. This is what the prior administration left behind that we are now cleaning up,” Jean-Pierre declared from the White House briefing room’s podium in July of 2022, as the Biden administration said it would not continue work on the Trump administration’s border wall.

“A border wall is an ineffective use of taxpayer dollars, so it’s ineffective,” she added.

Months later, as Title 42, a Trump-era policy that allowed U.S. officials to turn away migrants who came to the U.S.-Mexico border because of health concerns was set to expire, Jean-Pierre argued, “It would be wrong to think that the border is open. It is not open.”

BIDEN-ERA WHITE HOUSE REPORTERS EXPRESS DISBELIEF ON KARINE JEAN-PIERRE’S SUDDEN PARTY SWITCH

Critics at the time slammed the press secretary over the comment, calling the comment a “bold-faced lie” as migrants were seen coming across the border with little consequences.

The Biden administration was in power when the Supreme Court issued its landmark decision effectively ending the recognition of abortion as a constitutional right in the Dobbs v. Jackson decision in June of 2022, with Jean-Pierre calling the ruling “extreme.”

“When the Supreme Court made that extreme decision on Dobbs, it really put a lot of families and women’s lives at risk,” she said during a press conference in July of 2022.

KARINE JEAN-PIERRE SWITCHES AFFILIATION TO INDEPENDENT, RELEASING NEW BOOK ABOUT ‘BROKEN’ BIDEN WHITE HOUSE

The Biden White House frequently celebrated LGBTQ holidays during its four years, including fiercely defending transgender issues and policies that the Trump administration has since ended.

“Tomorrow is Trans Visibility Day,” Jean-Pierre said during a March 2023 press conference slamming Republicans who put forth legislation that aimed to keep biological boys out of girls’ sports and end transgender surgeries for minors. “On a day that we should be lifting up our trans kids and our trans youth and making sure that they feel seen, we’re seen more and more of these hateful, hateful bills.”

“We’ve been very clear about these anti-LGBTQ bills that we’re seeing in state legislatures across the country, in particular these anti-trans bills, as they attack trans kids, as they attack trans parents. It is shameful, and it is unacceptable,” she added.

In the months leading up to Election Day, Trump faced two separate assassination attempts, including one in Butler, Pennsylvania, during a campaign rally in July that left him with an injury to the side of his head after a bullet whizzed towards him, and another in September when a man attempted to kill Trump while he played golf in Florida.

“It’s been only two days since somebody allegedly tried to kill Donald Trump again, and you’re here at the podium in the White House briefing room calling him a threat,” Fox News’ Peter Doocy pressed during a news conference in September of 2024. “How many more assassination attempts on Donald Trump until the president and the vice president and you pick a different word to describe Trump other than ‘threat’?”

Then-Vice President Kamala Harris and Biden had both repeatedly claimed that “Democracy is on the ballot” last year amid Trump’s re-election campaign. While the White House, Biden and Harris additionally described Trump as a “threat” to democracy, Fox Digital previously extensively reported.

BIDEN BOOK AUTHOR REVEALS HOW WHITE HOUSE STAFF TRULY FELT ABOUT KARINE JEAN-PIERRE AS PRESS SECRETARY

Jean-Pierre exhaled in a sign of disapproval before answering: “Peter, if anything, from this administration, I actually completely disagree with the premise of your question, the question that you’re asking. It is also incredibly dangerous in the way that you are asking it, because American people are watching. And to say that, when you start bringing political rhetoric. . . . That is not okay.”

“There are people watching at home who might miss the part where you say, let’s lower the temperature. And there are mentally unstable people who are attempting to kill political candidates, attempting to kill Donald Trump. And they are still hearing this White House refer to him as a threat. Is there no concern?” Doocy continued in the press conference.

“We’re using examples. We’re not just saying that just to say it,” Jean-Pierre responded.

Tourist caught crushing Swarovski chair in Italian museum’s ‘nightmare’ scenario

A tourist was caught-on-camera crushing a Swarovski crystal-encrusted chair inside a museum in Italy – then taking off.

The Palazzo Maffei in Verona took to social media to expose the tourist’s actions as he was caught sitting on the chair, causing it to collapse and fall to the ground.

“The nightmare of every museum has become a reality, even at Palazzo Maffei,” the museum wrote in a post on their Facebook page, with the surveillance video attached.

“What you just saw would be ridiculous if it hadn’t, unfortunately, actually happened,” a museum employee says during the video.

The museum pointed out that the tourists conveniently waited for security to leave before making their move and capturing the photo.

The chair was described as being “extremely fragile.”

“An irresponsible gesture caused serious damage to Nicola Bolla’s ‘Van Gogh’ chair, a very delicate work, entirely covered in hundreds of Swarovski crystals,” the museum said.

Woman stands firm when passenger tries to switch seats to sit with his wife

Another seat swapper strikes again as a flight passenger is sharing her first experience with “seat swap shenanigans.”

Posting in the “r/delta” forum on Reddit, a user wrote that she and her husband were on a “long-haul flight” prompting them to upgrade to comfort-plus in a “2-3-2 configuration. “

“We each got an aisle seat with someone seated between us, so my husband decided to offer to switch his aisle seat with the fellow in between,” the woman wrote.

“Here’s where the strange part comes in,” she added.

“Fellow in the middle is happy to swap, but then he wants me to swap with his wife, so they won’t be separated. I declined because where would that leave me?”

The woman said that if she accepted the offer, she would have ended up in an economy seat.

“Dude went back to economy and found someone to switch with [him] so he could be with his wife. I guess he upgraded to C+ middle and hoped to pull a fast one,” the user said.

She revealed that a “delightful woman from Germany got a free upgrade and is happily sitting in the aisle seat.”

“I’ve read of several seat-swap shenanigans, but I never expected to experience it myself,” the post concluded.

Redditors took to the comments section to discuss the seat-swapping phenomenon and share their own flying experiences.

“Here’s a wacky idea that could work in 99% of the seat-swap posts I see here,” said one user.

“Buy the seat you want and sit there. If the seat you want isn’t available anymore, buy the best option and sit there.”

FLIGHT PASSENGER STANDS FIRM AGAINST ENTITLED SEAT SWAPPER’S DEMANDS: ‘I’M NOT MOVING’

The same user continued, “If you can’t be separated from your traveling companion for the length of a flight, drive.”

“We [have] offered to swap more as a courtesy to the person in the middle than as a necessity of sitting together,” commented one person.

Another Redditor wrote, “Nice that it worked out.”

“I would never ask someone to switch seats,” said yet another person.

One user on the platform wrote, “Just got home from a long weekend solo trip. Trip out, I offered to swap seats with the husband so he could sit with his wife. They were happy. I was happy.”

“Today’s [flight attendant] asked if I would swap so an older couple could sit together,” the same person continued.

“Yup, no problem. I will admit that it was my first time treating myself to first class, so a first-class-to-first-class swap was not punishment, but as a solo traveler, I was happy to help couples sit together.”

Another user wrote, “I feel like a lot of the seat-swap drama posts are fake (or at least heavily played up) or … [they’re] just assuming the illest of wills when folks really aren’t trying to scam someone.”

California-based etiquette expert Rosalinda Randall weighed in on the situation, telling Fox News Digital that “no one has the obligation to switch their seat” on a plane.

“Have a compelling reason that will resonate.”

“The person making the request has no right to expect [this] or make a scene when they don’t get their way,” she said. “It is one’s prerogative to make requests, as it is also the prerogative of the one being asked to deny a request.”

She added, “Sometimes such requests make us roll our eyes in disbelief. But there are people who don’t often fly, have a fear, a language barrier, or a very pushy spouse or boyfriend who forces them to make absurd requests.”

Gary Leff, a Texas-based travel industry expert and author of the blog “View From the Wing,” told Fox News Digital that although the person with the ticket is entitled to the seat, sometimes flyers can try their luck on board by simply asking others to swap.

“Have a compelling reason that will resonate with the person you’re asking,” said Leff.

Miami Heat star Tyler Herro made startling claims during a recent livestream as he got firmly settled into what could be an exciting offseason for the organization.

Herro was spotted with popular Twitch streamers Adin Ross and N3on and was asked whether he thought Basketball Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain would be a top-five player in today’s NBA.

Herro said he did not know what Chamberlain “looked like” when he played and believed that Chamberlain did, in fact, score 100 points in a single NBA game.

Then, the conversation veered off track.

“You think history is a real thing?” Herro asked.

Ross replied, “Yeah.”

“Nah, I don’t believe in history,” Herro said. “No, I’m dead a–.”

SGA PLAYED THE MOST IMPORTANT QUARTER OF HIS CAREER. CAN HE FINISH THE JOB WITH OKC?

Ross was perplexed and asked, “you don’t believe in s— that happened like 200 years ago?” Herro said, “No, hell no,” adding that he did not believe man actually landed on the moon.

Ross smirked to the camera.

“I don’t believe in that. I don’t believe in anything that happened before 1950,” Herro said while later questioning how historians knew that Christopher Columbus sailed west and landed in the present-day Bahamas and later Cuba and Hispaniola.

It is unclear whether Herro was being serious with his answers as he seemed to be chummy with Ross and N3on.

Expert says queen ‘stays out of it’ as family feud with Prince Harry grows deeper

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Queen Camilla is not getting in the middle of a feud between her husband and his estranged son.

As King Charles III and Prince Harry’s relationship continues to be fractured, a source recently told People magazine that the 77-year-old “stays out of it.” According to the outlet, Prince William also “remains distant” from his brother, who made his royal exit in 2020.

“Despite this hands-off approach to the feud, Camilla’s stabilizing support is felt in the background as she continues to support King Charles in private,” British royals expert Hilary Fordwich claimed to Fox News Digital.

KING CHARLES, PRINCE HARRY AT POINT OF ‘NO TURNING BACK’ AS MONARCH REFUSES RECONCILIATION: EXPERT

“Their relationship is one of mutual reliance and comfort, especially as King Charles faces health challenges and endures the emotional toll of the highly publicized family rift,” Fordwich shared. “Camilla’s presence reassures King Charles, ensuring he remains composed and confident.”

According to the outlet, some royal observers believe the king, 76, should make the first move in reconnecting with his son. But there’s hesitation as many of the royal seniors reportedly don’t trust the 40-year-old and his wife, Meghan Markle.

“Camilla’s strategy of distance and composure in the situation has been received as both dignified and supportive of the monarchy,” Fordwich explained.

“[However], her approach doesn’t heal the ongoing family divide. She’s made a rather deliberate choice to keep her distance from the ongoing and highly publicized feud between King Charles and Prince Harry. She’s neither intervened nor taken sides. She remains above the fray, particularly after tensions escalated following Prince Harry’s recent interviews, as well as his whingefest, ‘Spare.’”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back as senior members in 2020, citing the unbearable intrusions of the British press and a lack of support from the palace.

After their move to California, the couple began to air their grievances in interviews and documentaries. Harry’s 2023 memoir, which detailed embarrassing revelations about the House of Windsor, only worsened tensions with his family.

In televised interviews to promote the book, Harry accused his stepmother of leaking private conversations to the media to burnish her own reputation. He accused members of the royal family of getting “into bed with the devil” to gain favorable tabloid coverage, singling out Camilla’s efforts to rehabilitate her image with the public after her longtime affair with his father.

“That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press,” Harry told CBS. “There was open willingness on both sides to trade information. And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being queen consort, there was going to be people or bodies left in the street.”

Harry’s rift with his family burst into the open once more with a raw interview he gave to the BBC in May after losing a court case over his security. In a lengthy and at times emotional conversation, Harry expressed his desire for reconciliation. He admitted that his father, who is battling an undisclosed form of cancer, won’t speak to him.

The allegations about Camilla were particularly sensitive because of her role in the breakdown of Charles’ marriage to Princess Diana, Harry’s mother.

The late Princess of Wales once described Camilla, who had a long-term affair with Charles, as the third person in their marriage. While many members of the public initially shunned Camilla, she has won fans by taking on a wide range of charitable activities and has been credited with helping Charles appear less stuffy and more in tune with modern Britain.

Writing about his father’s 2005 wedding to Camilla, Harry says, “I had complex feelings about gaining a stepparent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.” Still, he says he wanted his father to be happy.

“In a funny way, I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she’d be less dangerous if she was happy?”

Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that Harry’s comments about Camilla were a major blow to the king and likely one of the reasons why he iced his son out.

“It is well known that King Charles can become very upset and hot under the collar,” said Pelham Turner. “Certainly, Charles is upset about remarks made… about Camilla. She has used the code of silence on the subject, similar to her own experiences while there were three in the marriage, as stated by Princess Diana.”

“Charles can be quite volatile at times when provoked,” Pelham Turner claimed. He noted that William’s reported decision to turn his back on Harry is “another hot potato for Camilla.”

“She’s wisely stepping back, allowing the in-fighting to proceed,” Turner claimed.

Royal experts previously told Fox News Digital that Harry’s relationship with William is nonexistent.

In a 2023 interview with “Good Morning America,” Harry said that he hadn’t spoken to Camilla in “a long time.”

“I love every member of my family, despite the differences,” he clarified. “So when I see her, we’re perfectly pleasant with each other. She’s my stepmother. I don’t look at her as an evil stepmother. I see someone who married into this institution and done everything she can to improve her own reputation and her own image, for her own sake.”

“She had a reputation or an image to rehabilitate, and whatever conversations happened, whatever deals or trading was made right at the beginning, she was led to believe that that would be the best way to doing it,” he told the outlet.

Fordwich said that from the beginning Camilla “distanced herself emotionally” after the fallout of “Spare.”

“Queen Camilla is supportive of King Charles, and these have been extremely difficult times for him as he battles cancer,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital. “She won’t have appreciated Harry’s references to her in his memoir and his interviews promoting it. [The revelations] enraged the king to the extent that he evicted the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage, their base in Britain.”

“The problems relating to the royal rift weigh on the king as it involves his wayward son,” Fitzwilliams claimed. “It has also been bad for the institution of the monarchy… Camilla will unquestionably be loyal but is highly unlikely to get involved in any peacemaking efforts with a couple she obviously cannot trust.”

Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith told People magazine that there has been a desire to reconnect on Charles’s side, but “the underlying issue is trust.”

“The king and William don’t trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation,” she said.

Insiders told the outlet that William, in particular, “has shown no interest in extending an olive branch.”

British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard claimed to Fox News Digital that Camilla is continuing to keep her head down as the family rift deepens.

KING CHARLES, PRINCE HARRY’S PAINFUL FEUD ‘DAMAGING’ MONARCH’S REIGN AS GUTTED SON REMAINS FURIOUS: EXPERT

“Camilla is disappointed and sad about Prince Harry’s behavior towards her,” Chard claimed. “However, she is a tough cookie, has a strong sense of self and doesn’t dwell on negativity. After all, she has received far worse public abuse over the years. She rises above any problems and just gets on with the tasks in hand.”

“She is more concerned with supporting her husband with his health challenges and demanding work schedule,” Chard shared. “To move forward, Harry needs to… try and build up some trust and dialogue with his family in private. Until then, there are obvious consequences.”

“The ball is firmly in Prince Harry’s court,” Chard added.
