China raises eyebrows with ‘mystery’ flights reportedly sent to Iran
Several Boeing 747s have been spotted on radar leaving China for Iran over the last week, according to reports, sparking concerns that the CCP is helping the Middle Eastern nation transport cargo or people out of the country as Israel continues to strike the country’s nuclear facilities.
Starting on June 14th, FlightRadar24 shows that at least five flights traveled from China to Iran, and The Telegraph reported that the “mystery transport planes” had flown westward along northern China before crossing into Kazakhstan, south through Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, and then fell off radar as they approached Iran.
Additionally, the report indicated that the flights had a final destination of Luxembourg but don’t appear to have ever crossed into European airspace.
Some experts have speculated that these types of planes are typically used for transport and could be evidence of China aiding its longtime ally Iran during the conflict with Israel, although Fox News Digital has not independently confirmed the nature of the flights.

ISRAEL-IRAN CONFLICT: LIVE UPDATES
“I think it’s important to remember what the relationship is, forty-three percent of China’s oil and gas comes from the Middle East, a large volume of that from Iran,” Robert Greenway, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Center for National Defense, told “The Ingraham Angle” on Wednesday night.
“It likes to buy sanctioned oil below market value, and that fuels the Chinese economy and also its military ambitions, and so, that’s the central relationship. They’ve been relatively quiet – in fact, extremely quiet – about the current conflict and coming to Iran’s assistance. We also know that a large fire in Bandar-Abbas port was Chinese solid propellant for missiles that exploded and created a tremendous amount of damage just about a month ago. I think it’s unlikely to see Chinese arms shipments under the circumstances to Iran. It’s more likely that Iran may be removing material or personnel or regime valuables to safe haven in light of the conflict. I think that’s probably the extent to which China is willing to accept the risk associated with the current circumstances.”
HOW BUNKER BUSTER BOMBS WORK AND HOW THEY COULD DESTROY IRAN’S FORDOW NUCLEAR SITE
In 2021, Fox News Digital reported that Tehran and Beijing signed a 25-year cooperation deal amidst great fanfare in the Iranian capital. University of Tehran Professor Mohammad Marandi, who is close to the regime, told Fox News that it is about much more than what’s on paper.
“This strategic partnership is important because it allows Iran and China to build a roadmap for long-term relations that will be much more fruitful,” he said. “It’s also a signal being sent to the United States. The more the U.S. tries to isolate Iran and China, the more it causes countries like Iran and China to move more closely to each other.”
TUGBOATS, CRUISE SHIPS AND FLIGHTS: ISRAEL BEGINS EMERGENCY EVACUATION OF CITIZENS AMID IRAN WAR
Some have cast doubt on the flights representing a nefarious connection between the two nations, including Atlantic Council fellow Tuvia Gering who posted on X that an aviation expert told him the flights are “nothing to write home about.”
“There are regular cargo flights by the Luxembourg-based freight company from several locations in China to Europe, with a stopover in Turkmenistan (just a few dozen kilometers from the Iranian border),” Gering wrote.
“Some flight tracking websites lose the tracking signal shortly before landing and continue to show a projected route that appears to enter Iranian airspace. The sites clearly indicate that this is an estimated path; checking the aircraft tail numbers shows they take off again from Turkmenistan a few hours later, and reviewing the flight history of these routes shows they always land in Ashgabat and do not continue into Iran. All this is before even considering the obvious logic that a major European cargo company is highly unlikely to be the channel through which China transfers its super-advanced, top-secret strategic weapons to Iran.”
ISRAEL’S WAR WITH IRAN IS A GLOBAL FLASHPOINT. AMERICA MUST LEAD BEFORE IT SPREADS
Tensions between Iran and Israel have escalated significantly in recent days, with the United States contemplating whether it will get directly involved in striking Iran. President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and he is expected to meet with national security and defense leaders again on Thursday.

“Yes, I may do it. I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do. I can tell you this that Iran’s got a lot of trouble, and they want to negotiate,” Trump said Wednesday.
“And I said, why didn’t you negotiate with me before all this death and destruction? Why didn’t you go? I said to people, why didn’t you negotiate with me two weeks ago? You could have done fine. You would have had a country. It’s very sad to watch this,” the president added.
California Democrat celebrates Supreme Court ruling on transgender treatment ban
While the Supreme Court’s 6-3 decision against youth transgender treatments dismayed many Democrats as a “stunning setback,” one member of the party from deep blue California says she “couldn’t be happier.”
“I am absolutely thrilled,” Erin Friday, parental rights advocate and lifelong Democrat, told “Fox & Friends First” on Thursday.
The Golden State mom and attorney, whose involvement with the transgender issue began when her own daughter briefly questioned her gender, said she felt that her heart had “absolutely burst” and she “broke down in tears” of joy upon hearing the court’s decision.
‘WE WON’: SOCIAL MEDIA ERUPTS OVER SCOTUS RULING DEALING ‘FATAL BLOW’ TO TRANSGENDER SURGERIES ON MINORS
Speaking to Fox News’ Carley Shimkus, she predicted the ruling will have “far-reaching effects” that go beyond gender interventions on kids and explained that some concurring opinions have established “important” legal precedents for other cases dealing with hot-button transgender issues like biological men playing in women’s sports.
“What these justices wrote was so important,” Friday said.
“Justice Alito wrote about sex being biological, and that’s going to be used in these sports cases to get the males out of girls’ sports.”
SOTOMAYOR WARNS SKRMETTI DECISION WILL CAUSE ‘UNTOLD HARM’ TO TRANSGENDER CHILDREN IN SCATHING DISSENT
“Justice Thomas wrote extensively about the lack of evidence on these gender interventions on children, what’s happening in Europe, and the harms that are being perpetrated on our children in the United States with this so-called gender ideology, and there’s some language in this opinion that also destroys the notion that there’s even such a thing as gender identity.”
At the same time, Friday said Congress needs to “save” children in blue states still backing such treatments by taking action to codify a ban on such treatments nationwide.
“We need to protect all the children in the United States, not just those who are lucky enough to live in Republican states,” she added.

Juror No. 4 reveals why Karen Read walked free in her boyfriend’s death
One of the 12 jurors who cleared Karen Read of murder charges in the death of Boston cop boyfriend John O’Keefe explained the panel’s reasoning Thursday, a day after her second trial came to a close.
The juror also explained brief confusion Wednesday afternoon that arose out of a verdict that jurors later retracted before it was read in court.
Judge Beverly Cannone sealed that one. Within minutes, jurors handed down a verdict for real.
“Everything on that initial slip was the same as the slip that was presented,” Juror No. 4, identified only as “Jason,” told TMZ Live. He said they pulled the first slip back over the OUI charge – operating under the influence of liquor, of which jurors found her guilty.
KAREN READ MURDER CASE VERDICT REACHED AFTER DEADLOCKED FIRST TRIAL
WATCH: Juror No. 4’s interview
“In our deliberations, we had decided there was enough evidence and proof that she was driving under the influence,” he said.
Jurors found Read not guilty of murder, manslaughter and fleeing a deadly accident in a trial that stretched on for more than 30 days of testimony and four days of deliberations. The lesser included charge of OUI is the Massachusetts term for drunken driving.
“I don’t know what happened to John,” Jason said. “I was only presented a limited scope of what happened at the night, and I can only base my opinion off of the evidence that was shown in the courtroom. So, I don’t really know if there was a cover-up or not.
“I know that’s the big conspiracy around it, but I don’t really know. All I know is there was a lot of holes in the investigation. Whether they were deliberate holes or not deliberate holes, it’s kinda hard for me sitting back to know that — you know, what actually happened.”
He said the defense claim that O’Keefe could have been killed by someone in the house — in an attack that involved a dog — was an “example of reasonable doubt.”
“We were tasked with finding … with deciding this person’s fate based on the proof in the evidence that the commonwealth was able to present, and there was a lot of holes,” he said.
He said another important factor for the jury was video that showed Read’s taillight.
“We could see from the car, after the alleged incident happened, when we could see the taillight it was lit up red, where it shouldn’t just have been red,” he said. “I don’t believe that the SUV collided with John O’Keefe.”
Still, he added, there was no way for jurors to know whether claims of a “corrupt” police investigation were true.
“I don’t know that there was any corruption going on,” he said. “But do I know that there wasn’t enough proof or evidence secured by the police to convict Karen Read? Absolutely.”
Also Thursday, Massachusetts State Police brass broke their silence on the years-long case marred by investigative missteps and the firing of a state trooper who played a central role in the case.
Read was accused — and acquitted — of killing her boyfriend by slamming an SUV into him and leaving him to die on the ground during a blizzard after a drunken argument. Jurors found her guilty only of drunken driving, for which she received a sentence of one year probation and outpatient treatment.
Col. Geoffrey Noble, the state police commissioner, said the entire department sends its condolences to O’Keefe’s family.
“The events of the last three years have challenged our department to thoroughly review our actions and take concrete steps to deliver advanced investigative training, ensure appropriate oversight and enhance accountability,” Noble said in a statement. “Under my direction as colonel, the state police has, and will continue to, improve in these regards.”
He said the goal is to deliver “excellent” service and maintain public trust.

Jurors did not appear to trust the investigation after four days of deliberation, when they rejected the prosecution’s case almost entirely.
MASSACHUSETTS TROOPER MICHAEL PROCTOR ‘TERMINATED’ FROM STATE POLICE
The lead investigator on the case, former State Trooper Michael Proctor, lost his job in March after an internal investigation concluded he shared confidential and sensitive law enforcement information with civilians in a group text, the contents of which were also lewd in nature and mocked Read’s health issues.

It was Noble who announced the firing, days before Read’s second trial began. Her first trial ended with a deadlocked jury last year after the texts were read in court and Read’s defense exposed other glaring flaws in the investigation.
“It is incumbent upon me, as well as every member of this department, to hold one another accountable when any member compromises our mission by failing to uphold our values,” he said at the time.

Noble and the department were also sued by true crime reporters and some of Read’s supporters over the enforcement of a “buffer zone” around the Dedham courthouse that their lawyers called unconstitutional.
Separately, local police in Canton, Massachusetts, were subjected to an external audit that recommended increased training and oversight while dispelling claims of a conspiracy to frame Read for O’Keefe’s death.

White House has suggestion for Jasmine Crockett after Dem calls Trump supporters ‘sick’
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt clapped back against Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, after she accused President Donald Trump supporters of being “sick” and mentally ill.
Speaking with reporters in the White House briefing room on Thursday, Leavitt said, “It’s incredibly derogatory to accuse nearly 80 million Americans of mental illness.”
“The last time I checked, Jasmine Crockett couldn’t dream of winning such a majority of the public as President Trump did,” she said.
“The America first movement, which President Trump has built, is filled with hardworking patriots. The forgotten men and women, business owners, law enforcement officers, nurses and teachers and Middle America, as we all know from where you all grew up outside of this Beltway. That’s who makes up this president’s movement,” said Leavitt. “And Jasmine Crockett should go to a Trump rally sometime, and she can see it for herself.”
KAROLINE LEAVITT PRESSED ON RAMIFICATIONS OF TRUMP’S MIDDLE EAST FOREIGN POLICY
Leavitt also quipped that she hopes Crockett will continue to be a “rising star” in the Democratic Party, “for the Republican Party, at least.”
During a recent interview with Katie Couric, Crockett, one of the leading Democratic voices in the Trump resistance movement, explained Trump’s reelection as being made possible by a national mental health crisis.
“We’ve got a mental health crisis in this country because everyone, no matter how you affiliate yourself, should be against Trump, period. This is not partisan for me,” said Crockett.
The congresswoman also went on to claim that former Vice President Kamala Harris was more qualified to be president than Trump and that he was elected simply on the basis that he is an “old white man.”
LEAVITT BALKS AT REPORTERS’ LA RIOT COVERAGE, ‘DISINGENUOUS ATTACK’ IN BRIEFING: ‘WHAT A STUPID QUESTION’
She also said her “heart breaks for service members” in the military under Trump because “the very thing that they signed up to fight against is now their commander-in-chief.”
“It is really sick and anybody that supports it is also sick,” said Crockett.
During the same interview, Crockett also defended former President Joe Biden’s mental acuity, claiming that she “never saw anything” from Biden that would have made her wonder about his mental sharpness, and argued that his mental acuity was “supreme” to President Donald Trump’s.

“We all slow down. But I will tell you that I will take a broken — or however they want to describe Joe Biden — over Donald Trump any given day, because, number one, I know Joe Biden’s heart,” Crockett said.

Crockett has also recently taken heavy criticism for other comments against Republican leaders, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, whom she mocked as “governor hot wheels.” This comment garnered her wide condemnation given the fact that Abbott is a paraplegic who uses a wheelchair to move about.
Missing police sergeant discovered in extreme hoarding conditions after welfare check
A retired police detective’s skeletal remains have been found inside her rural Connecticut home filled with hoarding conditions seven months after she was reported missing.
The remains of 73-year-old Mary Notarangelo were discovered in February after work crews arrived at her rural Connecticut home to remove piles of trash accumulated from the retired detective’s hoarding behavior, according to the Glastonbury Police Department.
Notarangelo was last heard from around June 12, 2024, when she texted a friend to say she was suffering from abdominal cramps and vomiting and had fallen. Approximately three weeks later, the friend called the police to request a welfare check.

Seven months later, on Feb. 24, an environmental services crew was called to Notarangelo’s home to begin removing the “mountains” of garbage. Notarangelo’s skeletal remains were discovered after workers used a small excavator to shovel a large pile of debris from behind her front door.
Authorities have not provided a reason why it took over half a year to find Notarangelo’s remains, though officials pointed to the large amount of trash in her home. Glastonbury police said conditions in the home were among the worst they have seen and complicated attempts to locate Notarangelo.
Officials reported finding cages of dead birds, a live cat and mice within the home, which also had a terrible stench.
BODY OF MISSING WASHINGTON STATE GRANDMOTHER FOUND BURIED UNDER SHED PARTIALLY ENCASED IN CONCRETE
“Once inside, I observed more mountains of garbage, cobwebs and spiders,” Officer Anthony Longo reported. “There was no path whatsoever. The only way to move from room to room was by climbing over the garbage.”
Local authorities conducted their first search of the home on July 3, 2024, but were unable to locate Notarangelo, citing hoarding piles as the primary factor. A drone was also deployed into the house, but ultimately struck cobwebs and was disabled, according to police. Additional searches were conducted on July 5, July 11, July 12 and Nov. 20, but Notarangelo was never found.
“It’s so upsetting and so sad,” said Patti Steeves, a friend of Notarangelo’s who previously worked at the Bridgeport Police Department as a civilian employee. “She, as quirky as she was, was a good person at heart.”
SKELETAL REMAINS FOUND NEAR NEW HAMPSHIRE GOLF COURSE DAYS AFTER 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF WOMAN’S DISAPPEARANCE
Steeves revealed she had made attempts to speak with her friend about the hoarding, but Notarangelo did not want to discuss the issue. Notarangelo was also a “bird fanatic” and had about 20 birds, along with a cat and dog, her friend said.
Notarangelo worked with the Bridgeport police from 1985 to 1996, and was promoted to detective in 1992 and to sergeant a year later, according to the department. She later retired on disability following an on-duty car crash, Steeves said.
Notarangelo’s cause of death could not be determined because her remains were primarily skeletal, the state medical examiner’s office said.

Shedeur Sanders skipped court amid mounting legal concerns after draft slide
Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has reportedly received two traffic tickets and failed to appear in court, according to police records obtained by Cleveland.com.
Sanders was pulled over Tuesday in Strongsville, Ohio, after his vehicle reached speeds of 101 mph in a 60 mph zone, the records show.
It was revealed Sanders was also previously pulled over by Ohio State Highway Patrol in Medina, according to Medina Municipal Court records filed June 6, according to the outlet.

The records also indicate Sanders failed to appear at the June 13 arraignment for the first incident.
According to FOX 8, Sanders was traveling northbound Interstate 71 near Cleveland at the time of the most recent incident.
“He is taking care of the tickets,” Browns spokesman Peter John-Baptiste told Cleveland.com.
The former Colorado standout entered April’s draft with many projecting him as a first-round selection. It took until the fifth round for the young signal-caller to hear his name called.
Sanders was drafted 144th overall by the Cleveland Browns. His slide in the draft began after the New York Giants traded up to 25 to select Jaxson Dart. Then, on day two, three other quarterbacks — Tyler Shough, Jalen Milroe and Dillon Gabriel — were all taken. Gabriel also went to the Browns.
ABDUL CARTER WHIFFS ON ANOTHER GIANTS LEGEND’S NUMBER: ‘JUST MY LAST NAME ON MY JERSEY’
Questions about Sanders’ character arose heading into the draft and have persisted in the months since.
The Tuesday before the draft, NFL Media released a summary of the top 18 prospects in this year’s class.
Sanders’ section included comments from an anonymous assistant coach, who said Sanders was “the worst formal interview I’ve ever been in in my life. He’s so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. … But the biggest thing is, he’s not that good.”
An anonymous longtime executive added, “It didn’t go great in our interview. He wants to dictate what he’s going to do and what’s best for him. He makes you feel small.”
Then, weeks after Sanders was drafted, a CBS analyst recalled when Sanders skipped out on something he was “supposed to be doing.”
Star players, normally quarterbacks, and coaches often meet with broadcasters in the days leading up to a game. Before a game against Colorado State, Sanders skipped one of those meetings, according to CBS’ Ross Tucker.
Tucker said Sanders was initially supposed to speak with CBS on a Wednesday, but it was pushed back two days because he was getting treatment for an injury. But he never showed up to the rescheduled meeting.
Shortly after the Browns selected him, Sanders took to social media to share a short but emotional message, “Thank you GOD.”

“We weren’t really given a reason, but we did not talk to Shedeur at the production meetings, which, as you know, starting quarterback, especially high-profile player like that, very unusual. I walk out of the hotel, and there’s a pickup truck in front of the hotel, and Shedeur is just sitting in the back of the pickup truck,” Tucker said on “The Dan Patrick Show.”
“It just made me wonder. People asked me, NFL people asked me after that game, ‘What did you think of Shedeur?’ And I said, ‘I didn’t get to talk to him.’ Maybe he’s the greatest kid ever, maybe he’s a bad kid. I don’t know. But I told them the story, and they just kind of nodded their head.
“And it just made me wonder how many stories are there like that in which Shedeur did things that were not customary. He did things non-traditionally. It certainly seemed like that was the deal with a lot of the combine interviews and meetings with teams. And especially at that position, I think it makes them very nervous that already in college he was getting out of things that you’re supposed to be doing. What’s he gonna be like if he’s a first-round pick in the NFL Draft?”
Sanders, the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, is one of several quarterbacks competing for the Browns’ starting role.
While Joe Flacco brings the most experience in the group, Kenny Pickett has also started games in the NFL. Dillon Gabriel and Sanders were both part of the Browns’ 2025 draft class. Deshuan Watson vowed to return “better than ever” after reinjuring his Achilles tendon in January, but it remains to be seen whether he will take snaps in 2025.
Deaths, pregnancy loss linked to recalled pasta sold at Walmart and Kroger
Three deaths and one pregnancy loss are being attributed to a listeria outbreak linked to newly recalled “ready-to-eat” pasta sold at Walmart and Kroger.
FreshRealm, which has production sites in California, Georgia and Indiana, says chicken fettuccine Alfredo products “may be adulterated with an outbreak strain” and is recalling products produced before June 17.
The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued the contamination notice on Tuesday.
“FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers,” the notice read. “Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.”

DELI MEAT, CUCUMBERS TOP LIST OF ‘REALLY RISKY FOODS’ YOU MIGHT HAVE IN THE FRIDGE
Along with the deaths and fetal loss, 17 people in 13 states have reported falling ill as a result of eating the now-recalled pastas from August 2024 to May of this year, federal health officials said.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says the pastas were sold in the refrigerated section of stores and were assembled and ready for microwaving. The recall does not include frozen meals, the CDC said.
Listeria infection can be deadly for older Americans, pregnant women and consumers with weakened immune systems. Listeriosis sufferers may experience symptoms such as “fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and convulsions sometimes preceded by diarrhea or other gastrointestinal symptoms,” the FSIS said.

Three-time major winner leaves PGA Tour event when neck pain becomes ‘too much’
Jordan Spieth has never had to withdraw from a start at any competitive level of golf in his life, let alone the PGA Tour.
There’s a first time for everything.
After making 297 straight starts at events he was scheduled to play, Spieth withdrew from this week’s Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands due to a neck injury.

“I’ve never withdrawn from an event ever, anywhere at any level, so I didn’t really know what to do,” Spieth told reporters after making his decision, via Yahoo Sports. “It just became too much. … don’t know, it’s unfortunate. I’ve been doing everything right, and I think it was just very random.”
Spieth believes he was sleeping in an unusual position Wednesday night, and the pain began to hit him during practice shots on the range.
TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP DIRECTOR SAYS HE WOULD ‘LOVE’ TO HAVE LIV PLAYERS BACK AT TOURNAMENT
His usual warmup routine was thrown off, and Spieth left the range early to receive treatment on his neck. But it didn’t work.
He tested things out on the course, but he looked to be in pain with every swing he made. After 12 holes, Spieth called it quits.
He teed off on the 13th hole, but after letting out a painful yell on the tee box, he knew it was time to stop pushing it. Spieth’s round wasn’t going well. He was 5-over for the tournament at that point.
“As I was out there playing, I couldn’t, I just wasn’t moving very well, and then it just got worse,” he explained. “I was just going to try to see if I could somehow get through at even. It’s a weird situation with an elevated event and no cut and important points and stuff.
“I hit my tee shot on 13, and it legitimately really hurt. …I was like, ‘It’s only going to get worse to finish the round, and it’s not worth it.’ I thought that was the time.”

Oklahoma woman picked controversial new Lay’s chip flavor, others share opinions
This summer, Lay’s is offering an all-American favorite in potato chip form.
Lay’s Bacon Grilled Cheese potato chips were selected as the winner of the 2025 “Do Us a Flavor” fan contest.
Paula George of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, submitted the winning flavor, which received the most fan votes, as Texas-based Frito-Lay announced earlier this week.

George’s winning flavor was inspired by her late father’s recipe, the company said.
The grilled cheese-flavored chips are made from butter, cheddar cheese, blue cheese and bacon fat, among other additions, according to the ingredient label.
On Reddit, a group of chip lovers discussed the new snack, with people’s reactions ranging from intrigue to hesitation.
“I haven’t tried the bacon ones, but I don’t generally like ‘bacon flavor,'” one hesitant commentator wrote.
“I love the flavor of bacon, but ‘bacon flavor’ is often not that.”
The person added, “To be clear, I love the flavor of bacon, but ‘bacon flavor’ is often not that.”
“Always too smokey,” someone else chimed in.

Another user said, “[T]hese don’t look worthy of buying.”
Some people said they hadn’t tried the new flavor but were excited to do so.
“Looks pretty good,” another person said in part.
A few users had already tasted the chips and shared their thoughts about them.
One person noted that the new offering “tastes like a cheese chip.”
“They’re OK, but I don’t think they bring anything beyond the normal ‘cheese’ flavor,” another Redditor said.
“The bacon grilled cheese ones were surprisingly pretty good,” another person said. “I liked them more than the others and I didn’t think I would really like them at all.”
