A 9-year-old girl is believed to be in “imminent danger” after police say she was abducted in Lake George, New York, on Saturday night.

Melina Galanis Frattolin was last seen at 9:40 p.m. on I-87 near exit 22 near Lake George, New York State police said. Authorities subsequently issued an Amber Alert.

“The child was taken under circumstances that lead the police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious bodily harm and/or death,” reads an Amber Alert for Melina.

Melina was described as having brown hair and eyes. She is 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. Police said she was wearing light-colored shorts, a black and white striped shirt and white Adidas sneakers when she was taken.

Tulsi Gabbard reveals ‘historic’ intelligence plot allegedly targeting President Trump

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard detailed “striking” findings from declassified documents released Friday, claiming to showcase “overwhelming evidence” that an Obama-era cabal laid the groundwork for what would be the years-long Trump-Russia collusion probe after the 2016 election.

“The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic,” Gabbard said on this week’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic,” she continued.

OBAMA ADMIN ‘MANUFACTURED’ INTELLIGENCE TO CREATE 2016 RUSSIAN ELECTION INTERFERENCE NARRATIVE, DOCUMENTS SHOW

Documents shared by Gabbard’s office claimed that before the 2016 election, there was no evidence showing Russia tried to directly alter vote counts. However, members of the intelligence community later suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted to help Trump win. Gabbard argues the narrative shift was politically motivated rather than based on new findings.

“Creating this piece of manufactured intelligence that claims that Russia had helped Donald Trump get elected contradicted every other assessment that had been made previously in the months leading up to the election that said exactly the opposite, that Russia had neither the intent nor the capability to try to ‘hack the United States election,’” Gabbard told host Maria Bartiromo

“So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic and enacting what would be essentially a years-long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”

FBI LAUNCHES CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS OF JOHN BRENNAN, JAMES COMEY: DOJ SOURCES

Evidence released by Gabbard’s office implicated then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey and former National Security Adviser Susan Rice, among others, in addition to the former president.

Gabbard confirmed her intent to send all the uncovered documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI for a criminal referral.

When asked if she expects to see prosecutions, she vowed to do “all that [she] can” to ensure accountability.

“We have whistleblowers, actually, coming forward now after we released these documents because there are people who were around, who were working within the intelligence community at this time who were so disgusted by what happened,” she shared.

“We’re starting to see some of them come out of the woodwork here because they… want to see justice delivered… there must be indictments. Those responsible, no matter how powerful they are and were at that time, no matter who was involved in creating this treasonous conspiracy against the American people, they all must be held accountable.”

Some Democrats, including Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut, who is the top member of his party on the House Intelligence Committee, have criticized Gabbard’s claims as “baseless.”

Fox News Digital previously reached out to Obama, representatives for the former president, Clapper, Comey, Brennan, Rice, Lynch and McCabe for comment and did not receive a response.

Morgan Wallen is getting in on the fun, poking fun at the viral moment from a recent Coldplay concert in which the alleged affair between a CEO and his head of human resources was revealed.

During his concert on Friday night at the State Farm Arena in Glendale, Ariz., Wallen seemingly referenced the viral video when addressing the crowd ahead of his performance of his song, “I’m A Little Crazy.”

“Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you’re safe here,” he can be heard saying in a video posted to TikTok taken by a concertgoer. “I don’t condone cheating, anymore.”

MORGAN WALLEN BREAKS SILENCE ON ‘SNL’ AFTER ABRUPT EXIT SPARKED CONTROVERSY

His comments come after a video of CEO of tech firm Astronomer, Andy Byron, appearing on the “Kiss Cam” at a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., with his arms allegedly wrapped around the company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot, went viral on social media.

When the two appeared on the big screen during “The Jumbotron Song” where Coldplay frontman Chris Martin improvises songs about couples in the audience, the woman immediately covered her face and turned away from the camera, while the man ducked down and exited the frame, prompting Martin to joke “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

“Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you’re safe here. I don’t condone cheating, anymore.”

The company put out a statement after the incident Friday, writing on social media, “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,” the company shared.

“The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”

In another update on Friday, the company announced Byron had been placed on leave and an interim CEO had been appointed. The company later informed followers on Saturday that Byron resigned from the company.

“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted,” the X post read in part. “The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”

Fox News confirmed Cabot and her ex-husband finalized their divorce in 2022, and New Hampshire property records show Kristin and Andrew Cabot purchased a home as a married couple in April 2024. No divorce records were found for Bryon, who appears to still be married.

When speaking with The U.S. Sun, Grace Springer, the TikTok user who posted the video of the viral “Kiss Cam” moment, said the moment was a “hot topic” among those at the concert, but that “no one knew who they were” until she posted the video.

“I had no idea who the couple was,” she said. “Just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it. A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games … win stupid prizes.”

Springer also added that she hopes “their partners can heal from this” and that “for them, my video was a blessing in disguise.”

Ex-NPR editor celebrates Senate vote to cut funding, calls it ‘Self-inflicted wound’

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

The NPR whistleblower that exposed the news outlet for liberal bias last year says its embrace of “fringe progressivism” was the reason for its defunding that became official this week.

“It’s a self-inflicted wound, a product of how NPR embraced a fringe progressivism that cost it any legitimate claim to stand as an impartial provider of news, much less one deserving of government support,” Uri Berliner wrote in a Thursday op-ed entitled “Happy Independence Day, NPR.”

Berliner resigned from NPR last April after he was suspended for not getting approval to do work for other outlets following an essay he wrote in The Free Press. The bombshell piece lambasted his former employer’s coverage of contentious topics like Russiagate, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and the COVID lab leak theory.

NPR HEAD ASKS CRITICS TO ‘SHOW ME A STORY’ THAT PROVES LIBERAL BIAS AMID DEFUNDING THREATS

He said that his decision to leave was due in part to “absence of viewpoint diversity” at the outlet.

Republicans in the Senate and House narrowly passed the rescissions package this week that yanked over $1 billion in federal broadcast funding for the fiscal year.

“I witnessed that change firsthand in my 25 years at the network—and I tried to do something about it,” he said. “I was a senior business editor at NPR when, a little more than a year ago, I published my account in The Free Press of how the network had lost touch with the country, and, like the legacy media everywhere, forfeited the trust of the public.”

He said that the outlet eventually “became a boutique product for a well-heeled audience clustered around coastal cities and college towns” and “shed moderate and conservative listeners.”

“Once fairly evenly divided between liberals, moderates, and conservatives, NPR’s news audience shifted sharply to the left,” Berliner wrote.

NPR PUBLIC EDITOR CLAIMS ALLEGED ‘POLITICAL BIAS’ IS ACTUALLY ‘GEOGRAPHIC BIAS’

The former NPR editor, who is now a contributing editor at The Free Press, said that NPR eroded the trust of its readers through slanted coverage of the COVID “lab leak” theory, as well as not covering the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

The outlet instead became part of what Berliner called the “Great Awokening,” publishing headlines like “Which Skin Color Emoji Should You Use? The Answer Can Be More Complex than You Think,” “Bringing Diversity to Maine’s Nearly All-White Lobster Fleet,” and “These Drag Artists Know How to Turn Climate Activism into a Joyful Blowout.”

“We were told to avoid the term biological sex, warned not to say illegal immigrant (a hurtful label),” Berliner wrote.

He said his hope for NPR is it will return to its founding principles.

“Now NPR will be like any other media organization, free to be as partisan as it chooses, stripped of its unique claim to taxpayer support, still protected by the First Amendment, but subject to the same financial and competitive pressures as everyone else,” Berliner wrote.

Fox News Digital reached out to NPR for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.

Colbert’s fall from grace: How a fake Republican act became late night flop

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!
Listen to this article
4 min

The decision by CBS to cancel “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” dropped like a nuclear warhead on the media landscape last week, but to fully understand the comedian’s rise and fall, you have to remember his roots as a fake Republican.

Colbert rose to fame through Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” in the early 2000’s, earning himself his own news parody show on the network, “The Colbert Report” in 2005. From that satirical anchor chair, he posed as a conservative talking head for almost a decade.

COLBERT SLAMS PARAMOUNT FOR SETTLING WITH TRUMP, ACCUSES HIS PARENT COMPANY OF OFFERING A ‘BIG FAT BRIBE’

The character that was created was a Ron Burgundy-like conservative buffoon, or as Colbert would put it, a “well-intentioned, poorly informed, high-status idiot.”

He would wear this costume for 20 years.

In other words, for two decades now, Stephen Colbert has been consumed in the role of a pre-Donald Trump, Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan style Republican that, in that time, has gone from being reviled to fondly remembered by the left.

Many of us are old enough to remember when former President George W. Bush was considered by liberals to be a war criminal who should go directly to jail. But today, there is a strange new respect for W in the wake of Trump.

What Colbert was really playing was the lovable and gullible loser that the word “Republican” represented before the Orange Man went bad. This was a Republican who, in retrospect, at least, was greedy, maybe a bit stupid, but not a supposed threat to democracy.

In September 2015, just over a year before Trump would shock the universe with his defeat of Hillary Clinton, Colbert took over the vaunted “The Late Show” from David Letterman. But which Colbert would it be, the real one, or the character he created?

Not long after Colbert took the hot seat at “The Late Show,” a new term was beginning to bubble up in the societal ether: “Never Trump.” With it came a sorting. Some Republicans, and we know who they are, made opposing Trump their entire mission. Colbert’s character was squarely among them.

What was fascinating was that even though Colbert had only been pretending to be a conservative for a decade in 2015, his performance gave his criticisms of Trump an extra bite, just as Never Trump ex-GOP officials have on CNN and MSNBC in the age of Trump.

For 10 years now, Colbert has toggled between ridiculous musical numbers urging his viewers to trust the “experts” and the Left on everything from vaccines to election interference, and putting on his black thick-rimmed glasses for a serious monologue about the evils of Trump.

Just as is the case with Never Trump pundits, Colbert’s Never Trump late night TV host is not only tired now, but utterly pointless and irrelevant. The Republican that Colbert has spent his career pretending to be, simply doesn’t exist anymore.

As news of Colbert’s cancellation spread, we saw from the usual suspects on the Left dire warnings about government censorship and authoritarianism. It’s all a flaming bag of nonsense.

If, as these wackos presume, CBS buckled to Trump to get their parent company Paramount’s merger with Skydance past the administration even though Colbert is the biggest star in late night, then surely a rival network would scoop him up. That’s how value in entertainment works.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINION

But the problem for Colbert is that the entire basis of his character, and frankly, career, has disintegrated under his feet as it has for so many who made their entire lives about defeating Donald Trump.

Colbert’s caricature of a mid-level manager white guy who just wants low taxes and his kids not to be gay and doesn’t read books depicts nobody in reality. It is a figment of elite, urban, progressive fearmongers.

It was another famous late-night host named Johnny Carson who once turned the tables on legendary insult comedian Don Rickles, by quipping, “Don is a great comedian, I love his joke.”

Sadly, though Carson was kidding, this really is the fate that Colbert suffered. He only had one joke, and that joke isn’t funny anymore.

So, RIP to the “Late Show” and to Never Trump, two things that time and fortune have passed by, under the watchful eye of Donald J. Trump.

Supermodel’s world shattered when stranger whispered devastating secret at ceremony

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

When Christie Brinkley found out that her husband was having an affair, it “nearly broke her.”

The veteran Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is on the cover of Social Life Magazine in celebration of her memoir, “Uptown Girl,” which came out earlier this year. The 71-year-old spoke to the outlet about what it was like sharing her story, both the highs and lows.

“There were parts where I thought, ‘Please don’t cry,’” said Brinkley when it came to reading her story out loud for the audiobook.

CHRISTIE BRINKLEY ADMITS LEAVING BILLY JOEL WASN’T EASY, SAYS ‘BOOZE WAS THE OTHER WOMAN’

“I tried to keep [my voice] level, but [the publisher] let me be. Let my voice crack. Let it show.”

One of the moments Brinkley described in the book was discovering how her fourth husband, architect Peter Cook, was unfaithful after eight years of marriage.

According to the outlet, Brinkley was at a graduation ceremony in 2006 to give a commencement speech. She described how a man approached her with a revelation that had the “weight of a wrecking ball, delivered in barely a whisper.”

“I asked him to repeat it,” she recalled before turning to look at Cook.

“And then I looked at Jack,” she said about her son. “Jack’s face was frozen in panic. He felt it instantly. He knew something was very wrong.”

According to Brinkley, she looked out into the crowd. She saw “mouths agape,” reminding her of “The Scream” oil painting.

“They all knew,” the outlet shared. “Maybe some judged. Maybe some didn’t. But in that suspended moment, she felt faint, exposed… like the floor might drop beneath her.”

Brinkley said she asked the man if he had a card.

“No,” he said. “But I’m a cop at the Southampton station.”

After the ceremony, Jack rushed over to his mother and asked what was wrong. She told him, “Mommy needs to go to the police station.” There, she would get more information about how her marriage was unraveling.

Brinkley told the outlet that she didn’t know what readers would expect from her book.

“I had thought this book might sit on shelves,” she admitted. “I worried it would embarrass my kids. But people bought it. They loved it. I cried.”

In her book, Brinkley describes how the police officer who made the revelation was the father of the 18-year-old Cook was involved with.

“I know from Peter’s face that he was guilty,” Brinkley wrote. “When your whole world falls apart, and you realize in a heartbeat you’ve suddenly become the cliché middle-aged woman whose husband is having an affair with a much (much) younger woman, what do you do?”

That night, Cook was out of the house. And friends urged Brinkley to search the family computer. They even came over to help, an operation Brinkley said looked like something out of “Charlie’s Angels.” There, she found a “creepy labyrinth of files and photos I never knew existed.”

“I was good at guessing passwords, and soon enough, a panoply of frightening email exchanges, incriminating photos, and porn accounts populated the screen like fireworks,” Brinkley wrote. “It was so insane that it was almost funny, and soon enough, the three of us were doubled over in laughter, as printouts of girls in X-rated poses began piling up on the floor faster than trash outside a greasy takeaway.”

Brinkley and Cook’s split resulted in a six-year court battle. Social Life Magazine reported that the divorce trial was “tabloid catnip and a full-blown media spectacle.” It was also “a mother fighting to protect her cubs.”

Today, Brinkley told the outlet she finds solace tending to her garden, just like another famous blonde.

“I admire Pamela [Anderson],” Brinkley told Social Life about the “Baywatch” icon. “I think we were both misread. Different myths were built around each of us, and now we’ve found the freedom to say what was always ours. We’re not salon blondes. We’re hands-in-the-dirt women. We bloom in the garden.”

Brinkley previously told Fox News Digital she dares to love again.

“I find that love is the strongest thing in the whole world, and we are surrounded by love,” she said. “There are so many kinds of love and love for our friends, love for our families, love for nature and love for people that protect nature. I love love – I feel like my life is so full of love.”

“I think if there’s a romantic love that comes along, it would be wonderful,” she shared. “But I also feel very content and happy with the life that I have right now. I consider my life to be very full of love.”

Scottie Scheffler’s dominance on the golf course continued on Sunday, as he cruised to a victory at The Open Championship, marking his second major win this year.

Just as he did at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow earlier this golf season, he celebrated with his wife, Meredith, and their son, Bennett after the win at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland on Sunday.

Scheffler got a huge cheer from the crowd as the famous Claret Jug was passed over to him, but it was his son who got the crowd going after making some moves to celebrate with his father.

Cameras caught the moment Bennett was trying to make his way to the 18th green at Royal Portrush to join his dad in celebration. However, the 1-year-old had some trouble getting there.

As he tried to run up the hill, Bennett took a little tumble and decided to remain on all fours as the crowd sighed in unison. Scheffler made his way over with the Claret Jug in hand and picked up his son, with the crowd cheering once more.

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER SAYS BEING THE NO 1 GOLFER IN THE WORLD IS ‘NOT A FULFILLING LIFE’

It was yet another proud father-son moment for the Scheffler family – moments that are becoming all too common in one of the hardest sports on the planet.

Dominant is putting it lightly for how Scheffler has been playing this year, and that was on display for four rounds overseas at The Open. He posted a final-round 68 to cap an incredible weekend and add to his major resume.

Scheffler only needs a U.S. Open victory to complete the career Grand Slam.

Scheffler has also tallied four wins on the PGA Tour this season, including the Byron Nelson in May which predated the PGA Championship victory. He also held off a surging Ben Griffin at The Memorial to add another trophy to his case.

And in his 15 events played on the PGA Tour this season, Scheffler has finished top-25 in each of them, while earning a top-10 mark in 12 as well. He has an official money mark of $16.1 million while being well ahead in FedEx Cup Standings (4,056 points) with Rory McIlroy behind him in second place (3,219).

Simply put, the world number one golfer just doesn’t seem to be slowing down, collecting yet another major and doing what any father would want in those happiest of moments.
