Netanyahu official drops bombshell: ‘Decision has been made’ on Gaza’s future
Israel’s Security Cabinet is set to meet on Tuesday to discuss next steps in the nearly two-year-old war with the Hamas terror group in the Gaza Strip, including the possibility of taking full control of the Palestinian enclave and operating militarily in areas they have refrained from entering until now, the local media reported.
Israeli journalist Amit Segal, a commentator for Channel 12, the country’s highest-rated news broadcast, quoted a source from the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as saying that the “decision has been made… we are going to occupy the Gaza Strip.”
“Hamas will not release hostages without total surrender, if we do not operate now the hostages will die of starvation and Gaza will stay under Hamas’ control,” Segal quoted the official as saying.
HUCKABEE, WITKOFF WENT INSIDE GAZA TO ASSESS GROWING FAMINE CONCERNS
“Israel for months was at a crossroad and, let’s be honest, it was not achieving victory or the hostages. The mandate for a deal was broad, but we did not get agreement, so we will go for occupation,” he quoted.
The reports of deepening the military operation in Gaza come after months of mediated ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas appeared to have collapsed this week and despite assurances by U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, who visited Israel over the weekend, that he was working on a plan that would end the war.
It also comes after Hamas, the designated terror group whose October 7, 2023, mass attack in Israel sparked the war, shocked the Israeli public with propaganda videos of emaciated hostages, including one who was forced to dig his own grave.
Additionally, international pressure on Israel to end the war has ramped up in recent weeks amid accusations that is aid policy is causing famine in Gaza and after images of severely malnourished children – some of whom were later proven to be children with pre-existing medical conditions – went viral.
EUROPEAN LEADERS DECRY HAMAS VIDEO OF ISRAELI CAPTIVES: ‘UNLIMITED INHUMANITY’
Pressure in Israel to end the war and return home some 50 hostages, both dead and alive, who remain in Gaza has also been growing, with the country’s leadership divided over the best way to achieve this.

Some ministers in Netanyahu’s government, such as Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, have been pushing for Israel to re-occupy Gaza and rebuild Jewish settlements that were dismantled 20 years ago.
The Israeli military, however, has argued against that plan and, according to media reports, is expected to present some alternatives at Tuesday’s cabinet meeting.
Radio host fires back after Trump calls him ‘racist sleazebag’ in heated exchange
“The Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne tha God doubled down on his criticism of President Donald Trump’s second term on Monday after Trump lashed out at the radio host in a fiery social media post.
During a wide-ranging interview Saturday on “My View with Lara Trump,” Charlamagne claimed that President Trump hadn’t delivered on his key campaign promises, such as improving the economy for the people who needed it the most.
“I wouldn’t give it a good rating, simply because the least of us are still being impacted by the worst,” he said of Trump’s second term. He argued that the poorest Americans would be hurt by Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” because of its reforms to programs like Medicaid.
Trump responded by calling Charlamagne a “racist sleazebag” in a scathing Truth Social post on Sunday.
CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD NAMES SURPRISING 2028 PRESIDENTIAL SUGGESTION
“He’s a low-IQ individual, has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth and knows nothing about me or what I have done,” Trump wrote in the post, defending his record on the economy, the border, and foreign policy.
The feud continued Monday after Charlamagne responded to Trump on “The Breakfast Club.”
He laughed off the personal insults about his intelligence and joked that some people might agree that he’s a “sleazebag.”
“I looked up the definition of sleazebag, says it’s ‘a disgusting or despicable person.’ Depending on who you ask, that may apply to me,” Charlamagne remarked. “I personally prefer friendly, neighborhood a-hole.”
CHARLAMAGNE SUGGESTS BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL IS SIGN THAT MIDTERMS AND 2028 ELECTION WILL BE ‘FIXED’
But he rebutted the president’s “racist” claim.
“He called me a racist,” Charlamagne said in disbelief. “I didn’t mention race, not one time on Lara Trump!”
The radio host suggested it was ironic for Trump to call him this while his administration was tackling diversity and civil rights programs.
“I didn’t bring up the fact that President Trump issued an executive order directing oversight of institutions like the Smithsonian to remove or suppress narratives about systemic racism in Black history,” he said.
“They want to reframe cultural memory to eliminate discussions of historical racial injustice. That, along with determination of diversity and civil rights programs, are considered very racist by a lot of civil rights advocates. I didn’t even bring that up, okay? I was just talking to your base, letting your base know that you haven’t kept the promises you made in regards to the economy,” he continued.

Afterward, Charlamagne emphasized that he was “rooting” for Trump to succeed, so America could succeed.

“Believe it or not, I’m rooting for you, but I need you focused and, right now, you’re not focused. Ok? We need you focused on two things: the economy and [Jeffrey] Epstein. I need you to keep the promises of a great economy and the promises of transparency with the Epstein files,” he said.
Trump executive orders lead to Confederate general’s monument comeback after BLM riots
The National Park Service announced Monday that it will be restoring and reinstating a statue of Confederate General Albert Pike.
“The National Park Service announced today that it will restore and reinstall the bronze statue of Albert Pike, which was toppled and vandalized during riots in June 2020,” the Monday announcement from the National Park Service read.
“The restoration aligns with federal responsibilities under historic preservation law as well as recent executive orders to beautify the nation’s capital and re-instate pre-existing statues,” it added.
REP. WESLEY HUNT DEFENDS TRUMP’S MOVE TO RESTORE ROBERT E. LEE’S NAME TO MILITARY BASE
On June 19, 2020, also known as Juneteenth, the day that recognizes the end of slavery in the United States, protesters toppled the statue of Pike and set it on fire.
Pike, who was a Confederate general in the Civil War, also served as an associate justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court.
The vandalization occurred during the anti-racism riots that erupted across the country after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
TRUMP ANNOUNCES HE IS ‘RESTORING’ THE NAMES OF SEVERAL BASES CHANGED UNDER BIDEN
The announcement pointed to President Donald Trump’s executive orders on “Making the District of Columbia Safe and Beautiful,” and “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History.”
The orders call for the protection of American monuments, preservation of American history and heritage, and combating the “revisionist movement.”
In a statement to Fox News Digital, White House official Lindsey Halligan said, “Thank you to the National Park Service for announcing the restoration of the Albert Pike statute after it was unlawfully toppled and vandalized.”
Halligan added, “Erected in 1901 and funded entirely by private Masonic organizations, the statute stood for over a century as a tribute to Pike’s contributions as a scholar and Masonic leader. Such action aligns with President Trump’s Executive Order 14253, which calls for reinstating monuments removed under ideological pressure. It’s encouraging to see our National Park Service stand up for historical preservation, due process, and the rule of law.”

Highly contagious disease surges in some US states amid report of possible fatal case
Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) is on the rise in some parts of the U.S., public health departments have reported.
The highly contagious viral illness is most prevalent among children under 5, but people of all ages can become infected, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In Virginia, the Fairfax County Health District has published an alert of six HFMD outbreaks earlier this year, mainly affecting children 4 and younger.
RARE TICK-BORNE VIRUS CAUSING NEUROLOGICAL SYMPTOMS DIAGNOSED IN NORTHEASTERN STATE
The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health has confirmed 189 cases of the disease in St. Thomas, including a possible fatal case involving a toddler.
In March, the Pan American Health Organization issued an alert urging member states to “strengthen the prevention and control of hand, foot and mouth disease, especially in children, due to their high vulnerability and the risk of serious complications in the central nervous system.”
“The number of cases are increasing (especially type A6) and are spreading to adults with more unusual symptoms, including worse rashes (more widespread) and nail loss,” Dr. Marc Siegel, Fox News senior medical analyst, told Fox News Digital.
THE GROSS REASON AIRPLANE PASSENGERS MIGHT WANT TO AVOID USING THE WATER ON FLIGHTS
Tina Q. Tan, M.D., an attending physician at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and president of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, noted that HFMD most commonly occurs during the summer and early fall when the weather is warmer.
“We are seeing more cases at this time,” she told Fox News Digital. “It is a very common infection that is usually mild.”
The viruses that most commonly cause the illness are the Coxsackie and Enteroviruses, the doctor said.
Spread and symptoms
HFMD can be transmitted by coughing, sneezing, runny nose, kissing, sharing utensils, blister fluids and diaper changes, according to Siegel.
People can also spread the virus after touching contaminated objects and surfaces.
Siegel noted that HFMD is usually mild and presents with blistering sores in the mouth and a rash on the hands and feet, along with fever and sore throat.
“It is contagious for several weeks, but especially in the first week after the onset of symptoms,” the doctor told Fox News Digital.
The illness is known to spread easily in day cares and school settings.
“Infants and children can return to school or daycare when they are feeling better,” Siegel said.
Tan agreed that they can return as long as they have no fever, are feeling well enough to drink and participate in activities, and have no open lesions or copious drooling when they have mouth sores.
Treatment and prevention
Most people only experience mild illness and get better without treatment within seven to 10 days.

People can manage pain and fever with over-the-counter medications. They should also drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration, the CDC recommends.
While complications are rare, the CDC advises that pregnant women see a doctor if they contract HFMD.
“Patients or parents should seek medical care if they feel they are uncomfortable with the symptoms that they or their child are having and the symptoms are worsening; if they are unable to take adequate fluid and there is a decrease in urine output; or anytime they feel that there is a change in mental status,” Tan said.

The most common complication of HFMD is dehydration due to painful mouth lesions that prevent adequate fluid intake, according to the doctor.
“It can also cause nail loss in those individuals who had involvement of fingers,” she said. “Very rarely, it can cause serious complications like viral meningitis, encephalitis and paralysis.”
To prevent the highly contagious virus, the CDC recommends washing hands frequently with soap and water.
People should also clean and disinfect common surfaces and shared items, such as doorknobs and toys, Tan advised.
There is not currently a vaccine for HFMD in the U.S.
New Hall of Famer’s celebration goes horribly wrong on stage during induction ceremony
Jared Allen did not disappoint on stage in Canton over the weekend.
The former NFL star took the stage at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday to be officially inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Allen was a part of the class that also included Sterling Sharpe, Eric Allen, and Antonio Gates.

Well, after he received his brand-new gold jacket, he wanted to turn back the clock and do his signature sack celebration.
Unfortunately for Allen, suit pants don’t have as much give as football pants.
When Allen stood up, he realized that he had a major rip on the back of his pants, stretching from his rear all the way to near the kneecap.
The 2004 fourth-round pick played for four teams in his 12-year career, most notably the Minnesota Vikings, in which he racked up four All-Pros, five Pro Bowls and 136 sacks.

Former NFL running back found guilty of operating massive dog fighting operation
A former NFL running back was convicted on six felony counts for operating a large-scale dog-fighting trafficking venture following a multi-day trial in Oklahoma.
The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Public Affairs announced the conviction of Leshon Johnson, 54, who was convicted of violating the federal Animal Welfare Act’s prohibitions against possessing, selling, transporting, and delivering animals to be used in fighting ventures.
The announcement stated that Johnson, who played five seasons in the NFL with three different teams, surrendered to the government the “190 dogs seized in this case.”

“This criminal profited off of the misery of innocent animals and he will face severe consequences for his vile crimes,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement. “This case underscores the Department of Justice’s commitment to protecting animals from abuse — 190 dogs are now safe thanks to outstanding collaborative work by our attorneys and law enforcement components.”
FBI Director Kash Patel added: “The FBI will not stand for those who perpetuate the despicable crime of dogfighting. Thanks to the hard work of our law enforcement partners, those who continue to engage in organized animal fighting and cruelty will face justice.”

The conviction came from an unsealed indictment in March, which went into detail about Johnson’s operation at “Mal Kant Kennels.” There was evidence delivered to the federal jury that showed Johnson bred and trafficked “champion” and “grand champion” fighting dogs.
“Authorities seized the 190 dogs from his property, which is the largest number ever seized from a single individual in a federal dog fighting case,” the announcement read.
Johnson had a prior dogfighting conviction from the state in 2004. He pleaded guilty to the crime in 2005, where he received a five-year deferred sentence.
Two years later, the NFL was hit with another shocking dogfighting scandal, as Atlanta Falcons star quarterback Michael Vick pleaded guilty to his involvement in a fighting ring and spent 21 months in prison.
Johnson now faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 on each felony count.
“Dog fighting is a vicious and cruel crime that has no place in a civilized society,” U.S. Attorney Christopher J. Wilson for the Eastern District of Oklahoma said in a statement. “I commend the hard work of our law enforcement partners in investigating this case and holding the defendant accountable for his crimes.”
Johnson, who became a star at Northern Illinois University, was a third-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 1994 NFL Draft. He didn’t serve a large role in Green Bay, who ended up moving on from him midway through the 1995 season.

Johnson joined the Arizona Cardinals, where he would see most of his career yardage on the NFL stage. He started eight of his 15 games in 1996, rushing for 634 yards with three touchdowns, while catching 15 passes for 176 yards and a score.
Johnson spent one more season in Arizona before joining the New York Giants in 1999, where he played in a backup role. He also played in the XFL after his time in the NFL was over.
FBI’s shocking inaction on Russian intel about Clinton campaign in Durham report
On July 31 and Aug. 1, The New York Times ran two stories pouring cold water on the release of the previously classified “Annex” to the Report of Special Counsel John Durham dated May 23, 2023. But the authors – Charlie Savage and Adam Goldman – misdirected their readers’ attention from the start to a non-issue, with the help of a literally false headline claiming Durham found certain documents in the Annex to have been “faked” by Russian intelligence.
That’s the basis upon which the Times, Washington Post, Politico, network news, and other legacy media have myopically focused their reporting on the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation of President Trump – which we know was “faked” by the FBI, CIA, and Obama White House.
JONATHAN TURLEY: DEMOCRATS PULLED THE GREATEST POLITICAL CON JOB EVER ON AMERICANS. IT’S FINALLY UNRAVELING
Part of Durham’s investigation looked into why the FBI did NOTHING – literally – after first receiving the Russian intelligence information in late July 2016, as contrasted with how the FBI reacted to information nearly 60 days old received from an Australian diplomat about a meeting in a London bar.
The Annex includes previously classified information on the receipt of “Special Intelligence” throughout the first part of 2016 from a friendly foreign government, showing Russia’s seemingly real-time knowledge of the inner machinations of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
The Annex is a document authored by Durham’s team. Since the source documents upon which the Russian memos were based were not provided – or at least not made public – the accuracy of Russian memos’ paraphrasing/referencing to the source documents is unknown. All those qualifiers go to the work of “analysis” – what is this document, where does it originate, what does it say, what does it rely upon, can it be corroborated separately, what is our level of confidence in accepting the contents as accurate at face value, etc.?
Two items that have attracted the most attention, and which the Times’ stories focus on, are “emails” purportedly written by Leonard Bernardo, dated July 25 and July 27, 2016. Bernardo worked for a George Soros-related entity. His emails were hacked, and he had communications with senior Clinton campaign officials.
The Annex does not have actual “emails” as you might find them on Bernardo’s computer or a recipient’s computer – they have none of the typical email formatting. What they appear to be are “retyped” versions of the text in the body of emails into a Russian language memo, the Russian memo was translated into English, with Durham “cutting & pasting” the English translation into his report.
The July 25 “email” includes the allegation that Hillary Clinton approved a plan conceived by a “foreign policy adviser” to “vilify” then-candidate Donald Trump by falsely linking him to Russia Pres. Putin.
As for the Russian language memo – we don’t know the date — Durham provides an English translation that includes the following:
“According to data from the election campaign headquarters of Hillary Clinton, obtained via the U.S. Soros Foundation, on July 26, 2016, Clinton approved a plan by her policy advisor Juliana Smith … to smear Donald Trump by magnifying the scandal tied to the intrusion Russian special services in the pre-election process to benefit the Republican candidate.”
The Russian memo says next “As envisioned by Smith….” This suggests that maybe among the documents supporting the memo is a description of Smith’s plan either by Smith herself or someone else familiar enough with the details to describe it.
“As envisioned by Smith, raising the theme of ‘Putin’s support for Trump’ to the level of the Olympic scandal would divert constituents’ attention from the investigation of Clinton’s compromised electronic correspondence.”
The Russian memo, which had to have been written after July 27 since it had contents from a July 27 email in it, describes precisely what followed over the next 100 days leading up to the election – establishing “Putin’s support for Trump” was the goal of the supposed “plan.”
The Russian memo goes on:
“…by subsequently steering public opinion towards the notion that it [the public] needs to equate ‘Putin’s efforts’ to influence political processes in the United States via cyberspace to acts against critically important infrastructure (resembling a national power supply network) would force the White House [read “OBAMA”] to use more confrontational scenarios vis-à-vis Moscow….”
The memo says the Clinton campaign will seek to blow up the significance of Russian election interference – which happens in every election – by equating it to an attack on vital national infrastructure, and link Putin and Trump together in the effort, i.e., any election interference by Putin is really a proxy for an attack on democracy by Trump.
FBI’S CONTROVERSIAL TRUMP-RUSSIA ACTIONS PREDICTED WITH ‘ALARMING SPECIFICITY’ BY FOREIGN ACTORS: SOURCES
Either the Russian intelligence services are clairvoyant and should be playing the lottery every week, or they wandered into a trove of correspondence between people associated with the Clinton campaign describing precisely the game plan executed by the campaign, and White House, CIA, and FBI on its behalf.
The July 27 email attributed to Bernardo is also relatively short in terms of what Durham sets forth as the verbatim text taken from the Russian memo, and it confirms that Clinton approved “Julia’s idea.”
The Times’ authors falsely reported that Durham called the two Bernardo emails “fake” – and said that they were “concocted” by Russian intelligence. Hence, according to the Times, all the controversy surrounding the release of Annex materials was made irrelevant by that finding.
But Durham didn’t conclude the emails were fake. What did he conclude?
His team’s “best assessment” was that they were “composites” – some portion of the text of each was taken from other sources and combined into the text that appeared under Bernardo’s name as an “email.”
It is clear that Bernardo did not write them, i.e., they are not “authentic.”
But it is also clear that some amount of the content in each was accurate – and predicted events that would unfold over the next 100 days.
Durham reached that conclusion only after a long and involved process designed to understand both what the emails were, and how much of the content of the Special Intelligence was accurate.
Everything – and I mean everything — Durham did to answer those questions were things the FBI chose to NOT DO in or after August 2016.
Durham asked intelligence analysts – FBI and CIA presumably – if the emails appeared authentic. Most said that they did. Some noted that Bernardo was, in fact, a victim of hacking by the Russians, so it would not be surprising if his emails were in the Russians’ hands. It was noted by some that the Russians could have fabricated or altered the original information taken from the source documents.
Just the fact that some analysts believed the emails appeared to be authentic should have been enough to push the FBI into action. But it did nothing.
Durham interviewed Bernardo and showed him the emails. The FBI never did that. Bernardo said he did not recognize them, and there was language in them that he would not have used — specifically the sentence “Later the FBI will put more oil into the fire.”
Judging intelligence translated from a foreign language is tricky. Bernardo denied using that phrase, but how far off is that from a very similar phrase more commonly used by a native English speaker – “Pour gas onto the fire”? Bernardo’s original document would have been in English – then translated to Russian – then the Russian version translated back to English. That’s how “gas onto the fire” ends up as “oil into the fire.”
Bernardo also said he did not know who “Julie” was as referenced in the July 25 email.
But he noted that the final sentence in the July 25 email – that “things are ghastly for US-Russian relations” was phrased as something that he would write.
Durham gathered documents with grand jury subpoenas and search warrants. He looked for the documents obtained by Russian hackers. As for the July 25 and July 27 emails, Durham did not find those among the emails of the Soros Foundation.
But he found other emails – either emails or attachments to emails sent by people other than Bernardo – with language identical to Bernardo. Specifically, a passage in the July 25 email was taken directly from an email written by Tim Mauer, who worked for the Carnegie Endowment as a cyber expert. Mauer had never seen the Bernardo emails but agreed that one passage was taken from an email he had sent to colleagues at Carnegie – also hacked by the Russians.
Durham also interviewed Julianne Smith, who was a Clinton campaign foreign policy advisor, and who did involve herself in efforts to amplify the threat of the Putin-Trump relationship to U.S. national security.
CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINION
It is noteworthy that Durham begins this portion as follows:
“Smith stated she did not specifically remember proposing a plan to Clinton or other Campaign leadership to try to tie Trump to Putin and Russia.”
That phrasing is never accidental – “did not specifically remember” leaves much room to extricate oneself if a document emerges later that says what it is you claim to not remember. Agents are trained to note such phrases exactly as stated by the person being interviewed.
Smith did say “it was possible” she had proposed ideas to campaign leadership “who may have approved those ideas.” Again – Durham is showing her emails about a “Clinton Plan” she supposedly hatched, and she cannot be confident what other documents he might have that he isn’t showing her.
CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP
While she didn’t remember much of anything about anything, the one thing she was certain of is that she would never have made a proposal that had as part of its execution the involvement of the FBI in furtherance of the effort.
Prior to Durham, the FBI did none of this – and has never offered an explanation for why.
THAT was the point made by Durham’s Annex.

Bank of America’s CEO reacts to weak jobs report after Trump fires BLS chief
Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan said in an interview on Sunday that the president’s firing of the Bureau of Labor Statistics commissioner following a weak jobs report was due to politics, though he said government employment data should be improved.
Moynihan appeared on CBS News’ “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan” and was asked whether he’s concerned about the president firing the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) commissioner and whether he feels there is political pressure.
“Well, I think that’s more politics,” Moynihan said, adding that he thinks the agency’s data collection processes have seen lower levels of responses in recent years, which have contributed to revisions of the monthly jobs report.
“It’s 2025 and the data should be able to be – they use surveys and things like that, which, frankly, just aren’t as effective anymore. So if you look at the rate of people who respond to their surveys, it’s down from 60% level to 50% level,” he explained.
TRUMP ORDERS TERMINATION OF LABOR STATISTICS OFFICIAL AFTER JOBS REPORT AND DOWNWARD REVISIONS
Moynihan said Bank of America doesn’t use surveys to assess labor market data and instead relies on its data to gauge what businesses and consumers are doing.
“We watch what consumers do. We watch what businesses do. They can get this data, I think, other ways and I think that’s where the focus ought to be,” Moynihan said of the BLS.
“How do we get the data to be more resilient and more predictable and more understandable? Because what bounces around is restatements, and that was one of the largest restatements, going back five or seven years in the pandemic, five years in the pandemic, that creates doubt around it,” he added.
“And so I think the key is, let’s get – let’s spend some money. Let’s bring the information together. Let’s find where else in the government money is reported. We report millions and millions of data points to the government every day. The data is out there somewhere,” Moynihan said.
US JOB GROWTH COOLED IN JULY AMID GROWING ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY
The BLS reported its July jobs report on Friday, which showed the U.S. economy added 73,000 jobs last month – well below the gain of 110,000 jobs estimated by economists polled by LSEG.
The agency also reported what it called a “larger than normal” set of downward revisions to job gains the prior two months, with May’s gain of 144,000 jobs revised down by 125,000 to just 19,000 jobs added, while June’s gain of 147,000 jobs was revised down by 133,000 to 14,000.
Those two revisions left employment levels in May and June with 258,000 fewer jobs than previously reported. Goldman Sachs economists noted that it was the largest two-month revision for May and June since 1968 outside of recessions, based on the assumption that the U.S. isn’t currently in a recession.
President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to announce that he directed his administration to fire BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer, accusing her of manipulating the jobs figures for political purposes.
WHITE HOUSE ECONOMIST BACKS TRUMP FIRING LABOR STATS HEAD, HITS ‘PARTISAN PATTERN’ IN JOBS DATA: ‘PROPAGANDA’
“I was just informed that our Country’s ‘Jobs Numbers’ are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory,” Trump wrote. “This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records – No one can be that wrong?”
“We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified,” Trump continued. “Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can’t be manipulated for political purposes. McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the two prior months. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative.”
TRUMP CALLS FIRED BLS COMMISSIONER’S JOB NUMBERS THE ‘BIGGEST MISCALCULATIONS IN OVER 50 YEARS’
McEntarfer was confirmed by the Senate as BLS commissioner in January 2024 on a broadly bipartisan vote of 86-8. Current vice president and then-Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, was among the senators voting in support of her confirmation.
Trump said in comments over the weekend that his administration will “announce a new statistician sometime over the next 3, 4 days,” adding that “we had no confidence, the numbers were ridiculous that she announced” and that “it’s a scam, in my opinion.”
GET FOX BUSINESS ON THE GO BY CLICKING HERE
The president on Monday continued to claim that the jobs report was manipulated, writing on Truth Social:
“Last weeks Job’s Report was RIGGED, just like the numbers prior to the Presidential Election were Rigged. That’s why, in both cases, there was massive, record setting revisions, in favor of the Radical Left Democrats. Those big adjustments were made to cover up, and level out, the FAKE political numbers that were CONCOCTED in order to make a great Republican Success look less stellar!!! I will pick an exceptional replacement. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAGA!”
Brutal Cincinnati beating shows extent of ‘anti-law enforcement culture,’ Ramaswamy says
EXCLUSIVE: CINCINNATI, OHIO – A viral video showing several people being brutally beaten in downtown Cincinnati has Vivek Ramaswamy decrying a pervasive “anti-law enforcement culture” in American society.
The former 2024 presidential hopeful and Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate spoke with Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview on Monday evening ahead of a Cincinnati town hall event addressing combating violence, saying that he believes the Cincinnati beating “catalyzed a conversation in our state and frankly across the country about this issue of violent crime in the cities of the United States of America.”
He called the beating of Holly, a woman in the video who apparently was attempting to intervene to help another victim, “totally unconscionable.”
In the video, a group of people can be seen pummeling two victims, one of whom, a woman later identified as Holly, ended up with “very bad brain trauma.” The incident occurred in the early morning hours of July 26 on the corner of Fourth and Elm streets, outside a popular nightclub.
Ramaswamy shared that he has been in contact with Holly after first reaching out to her to check in on her well-being after the beating. He previously revealed Holly told him that no local elected officials reached out to her after the incident.
RAMASWAMY PLEDGES ‘RULE OF LAW’ REVIVAL AFTER VIRAL CINCINNATI MOB ATTACK
“One of the reasons I wanted to reach out was just to see if we could help… but also to hear her perspective on the front lines of what she wants to see come out of this,” he explained. “The fact of the matter is she, and victims like her, want to make sure that violent crime like this doesn’t spread, that we’re able to use what was a tragedy, and it was a travesty what happened in Cincinnati, to be able to adopt policies that actually stop this reckless crime in our cities, stop the wave of violent crime in cities.”
Another angle of the fight shows a victim being beaten in the middle of the street and yelling racial slurs. Some claim the male victim slapped one of the perpetrators before the fight, sparking the beatdown.
Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge said in a press conference that there are a total of six victims. Six people have been charged with crimes, and four have been arrested. The city’s fugitive task force is searching for the two suspects who are still at large. Theetge said that out of the approximately 100 people who witnessed the incident or were involved in the brawl, only one individual called law enforcement.
Jermaine Matthews, 39, Dominique Kittle, 37, Montianez Merriweather, 34, and Dekyra Vernon, 24, were arrested for their alleged involvement in the fight.
SCOOP: RAMASWAMY PLEDGES TO SPEND AT LEAST $30M OF HIS MONEY IN OHIO’S RACE FOR GOVERNOR
