For Dyan Cannon, age is more than just a number.

The “Heaven Can Wait” actress, 88, attempted to go inside the White House this week, but as she and her friends documented in a video shared on social media, the Secret Service refused to let her enter because of an age discrepancy on her passport.

Cannon, along with fellow actresses Kym Douglas and Tracey Bregman and TV personality and chef Christine Avanti-Fischer, traveled to Washington, D.C., together recently. The group hosts a new podcast, “God’s Table.”

They went out to do some sightseeing, but there was a hiccup in their plans.

“We are lined up for a great tour, and we have these Secret Service guys and all of the federal agents. We can’t get in because someone lied about their age,” Douglas, who filmed the video, explained.

Cannon laughed throughout the explanation as Bregman and Avanti-Fischer teased her.

“Listen,” Cannon said. “Years ago, here’s the thing, I lied about my age on my passport.”

“Who doesn’t, Dyan?” Douglas joked.

Avanti-Fischer remarked, “If we get in, it’s going to be a miracle of God.”

The video was originally shared by Douglas on her Instagram story Thursday, but Cannon reposted it to her own page, writing in her caption, “And I’d do it again.”

She added, “It’s nobody’s business what the number is they’ve pinned on me ….right girls? Right guys? it’s just a blinkin number… no matter what number they put next to me there’s one thing that never changes …I WUV WU”

Bregman commented on the post, writing, “Hilarious. Love you so but seriously, how can I change my age.”

Cannon has been a force in the entertainment industry for decades. She got her start in show business by appearing in various TV shows in the 1950s, and, in 1962, she appeared in her first Broadway show.

Her breakthrough role came in 1969, when she appeared in “Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice,” a role that earned her her first Academy Award nomination.

She was later nominated for the award for best live action short film for 1976’s “Number One,” which she produced. This nod made her the first woman nominated for an Oscar for her work in front of and behind the camera.

Cannon has also had a storied love life, which included marrying legendary actor Cary Grant in 1965. The couple welcomed one daughter, Jennifer, before divorcing in 1968.

She got married a second time in 1985 to real estate investor Stanley Fimberg, but the couple split in 1991. She also had what she once called a “love affair” with Johnny Carson.

Golf course showing debunks social media rumors as Trump touts Labor Day wins

President Donald Trump used Labor Day weekend to tout “nearly $10 trillion” in new investments for American workers, a sweeping White House claim delivered as unfounded online rumors about his well-being and whereabouts spread over the holiday weekend.

His appearance on his Trump National Virginia golf course with family on Saturday quickly put the speculation to rest.

“President Trump believes that American workers are the heart and soul of our economy, which is why he’s championed an agenda that always puts them first — from signing the largest middle-class tax cuts in history to securing nearly $10 trillion in new investments to create high-paying jobs across our country,” White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told Fox News.

Fact-checkers note the White House’s $10T claim includes previously announced projects. The White House describes its list as “non-comprehensive.”

TRUMP CAPS OFF 29TH WEEK IN OFFICE WITH PEACE DEAL, CELEBRATING 200TH DAY OF SECOND PRESIDENCY

The administration pitched what it calls a “Golden Age of Prosperity,” citing job growth, rising wages, new apprenticeship programs and regulatory rollbacks. White House officials pointed to more than 183,000 apprentices starting this year, $84 million in new training grants, and an AI Action Plan aimed at preparing workers for a tech-driven economy.

The White House cites corporate pledges as evidence of momentum. At an “Investing in America” event in April, NVIDIA promised $500 billion for U.S. chipmaking, Apple pledged $500 billion to expand factories, and IBM committed $150 billion for AI research. SoftBank announced a $700 billion infrastructure project. In all, Trump said more than $8 trillion has been pledged since the election.

They also touted half a million new jobs in 2025, $61 million for homeless and at-risk veterans and Labor Department efforts to lower health care costs through price transparency.

TRUMP WHITE HOUSE CELEBRATES LATEST CHAPTER OF WINS AT 200-DAY MARK

The rollout, however, was overshadowed by social media speculation about Trump’s well-being and whereabouts. On Friday night and Saturday morning, hashtags like #WhereIsTrump and #TrumpIsDead trended on X, fueled by a blank public schedule and recycled photos showing bruising.

Account Buzzing Pop on X posted, “Donald Trump reportedly has not been seen in days, with no public appearances scheduled this weekend.”

The rumors spread until Trump surfaced in public on Saturday.

On Saturday, he was photographed with some of his grandchildren outside the White House and at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. He was spotted wearing a white polo shirt and red MAGA hat.

While the White House hoped Labor Day would spotlight Trump’s economic record, the weekend may be remembered just as much for his golf outing and putting online speculation to rest.

A Florida home’s doorbell camera caught a brazen daytime attack this week when four suspects pulled up to a house in Plantation near Fort Lauderdale and opened fire.

The surveillance video also caught the suspects speeding away after the barrage.

The shooting happened at noon Wednesday at a rental home when a blue/gray Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 Coupe pulled up to the curb.

Four suspects got out of the car, which had the Florida license plate of a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Miami Gardens, and began shooting.

Police are searching for the suspects and said the victims who live inside the home (and are also from Miami Gardens) haven’t cooperated with police, “and therefore, the motive for this shooting is unclear at this time,” the Plantation Police Department said in a post on social media.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived defensive back Shilo Sanders after his ejection from a preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.

Sanders was ejected from last Saturday’s preseason game for throwing a punch at a Bills player. On Saturday, ESPN reported that the NFL handed down a $4,669 fine in response to Sanders’ actions.

The 25-year-old’s NFL future is unclear after he was not signed to the Buccaneers’ or any other team’s practice squad after his release.

The safety is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders. One of Shilo’s brothers, Shedeur Sanders, was listed as a Cleveland Browns quarterback on the unofficial depth chart leading into the regular season.

Shedeur was selected in the fifth round of April’s NFL Draft, while Shilo went undrafted. The elder Sanders brother signed with the Buccaneers earlier in the offseason as an undrafted free agent.

SHILO SANDERS SHARES WHAT’S NEXT FOR HIM AFTER BUCS RELEASE

Before the Bucs’ preseason finale, head coach Todd Bowles praised Sanders for his effort on special teams and his overall aggressiveness.

“Shilo’s very aggressive, very young, very hungry,” Bowles said last week. “He can make plays in the box, and we know he can run down and give us 100% on special teams, so this last week is going to be very important for those guys to show up.”

Bowles later said Sanders’ decision-making during the on-field altercation was inexcusable.

“You can’t throw punches in this league. I mean, that’s inexcusable,” he said. “They’re going to get you every time. Got to grow from that.”

In a video posted to social media Thursday, Sanders shed some light on what is next for his career.

“I feel like this is just part of my story to grow and do bigger and better things. Whether it’s finding another team, whether it’s getting another opportunity in the NFL, it is what it is,” Sanders said in the video.

“My time being with the Buccaneers has been nothing but great. The city, my teammates, my coaches, everybody has poured in love and support toward me, and I’ll be forever grateful for that.”

He suggested there could be a career for him outside football, including music or modeling.

“I’ll be talking to my agent, and we’re waiting on the next opportunity. If that’s in the NFL, cool, but God has blessed me with a lot of talent to do things other than football,” he added.

More wealthy Americans are fleeing to ‘oasis’ nation amid political tensions at home

America’s elite are increasingly seeking “golden” visas — with one country that offers the opportunity now pushing to open even more doors for the wealthy.

New Zealand parliament members are weighing an exemption to the country’s foreign buyer ban for golden visa holders.

For those individuals, the change would greenlight the purchase of luxury homes, namely homes that go for $5 million in New Zealand dollars, equating to roughly $3 million in U.S. dollars.

3 EXCLUSIVE ‘GOLDEN’ VISA DESTINATIONS THAT AMERICA’S WEALTHIEST ARE EYEING

The bill that’s under discussion would amend the Overseas Investment Act 2005 to reduce compliance costs and safeguard New Zealand’s “national interest,” according to the New Zealand Parliament’s website (NZP).

Politician David Seymour shared his support of the bill during the first reading of the amendment.

“We are a place where our friends who would like to do business with fellow Kiwis, who would like to invest, to trade value for value, and get stronger together with us are welcome under our laws,” said Seymour.

Others in support of the measure said the country needs foreign investment to grow its economy.

A politician who is against the bill, Julie Anne Genter, said the government’s adoption of this change would be “disadvantaging ordinary workers and advantaging those who already have money and power.”

“You can get permanent residency for life, and you can live the New Zealand dream.”

In April, the government relaxed its visa rules to attract more high-net-worth individuals, with such changes as removing an English language requirement. The country also reduced the amount of time required for people to spend in New Zealand, as Fox News Digital previously reported.

Once the golden visa is obtained, it can be held for life. People do not need to reapply.

In under three months, 189 golden visa applications were received, while previous applications were at 116 submissions over the span of more than two-and-a-half years, Reuters reported.

Nearly half the applications were submitted by U.S. citizens, with Chinese citizens having the second-highest number of applications, the same source noted.

Stuart Nash, former New Zealand minister for economic development and co-founder of Nash Kelly Global, told Fox News Digital the visas are becoming more popular.

“You’ve got a war going on in Europe, you’ve got the tinderbox, which is the Middle East,” he said. “You’ve got a change in the U.S. administration, which is causing more polarization than we’ve seen in a long, long time.”

“There are many Americans wanting to settle in New Zealand, as we’re seen as this oasis at the bottom of the world,” he added.

“You don’t have to renounce your U.S. citizenship at all,” he also said. “You can get permanent residency for life, and you can live the New Zealand dream.”

A woman in Alaska was mauled by a bear this week near her driveway after she left her home for an early morning jog, state officials confirmed to Fox News Digital.

Ariean Fabrizio Colton, 36, a mother of three, sustained “severe injuries” during the attack and will require “extensive surgeries and a long hospital stay,” her family said on a fundraising page.

“She made it probably 50 yards from her house,” Alaska Wildlife Tpr. David Lorring told KTUU-TV. “The bear came out of another property, it looks like it attacked her … and dragged her approximately 100 yards down the road onto this guy’s property.”

Lorring told the station that one of Colton’s neighbors heard the bear in the predawn hours.

“He heard the barking, wolfing sound of a bear. He’d been around bears before, and he thought a bear might have got a dog or was doing something in the neighborhood,” he said. “He didn’t really think much of it, and then he heard it some more. He ended up, daylight, he walked out there and located a female in the woods on his property.”

Colton’s family said they had just moved to Alaska this summer.

“Ariean is a loving wife, mother of three and a nurse known for her adventurous spirit and love of nature,” the family said. “She is extremely kind-hearted, strong and resilient and is always willing to help those in need.”

President Donald Trump shared security footage on social media Saturday, slamming a subcontractor accused of cracking the “most beautiful marble and stone available anywhere” in the recently renovated White House Rose Garden.

In a post to Truth Social, Trump said he discovered a “huge gash” in the limestone three days ago, extending more than 25 yards.

“Surfaces are very important to me as a Builder,” the president wrote in the post. “As everyone knows, I built many GREAT Buildings, and other things, over the years. … [The limestone crack] was deep and nasty! I started yelling, ‘Who did this, and I want to find out now!’—and I didn’t say this in a nice manner.”

TRUMP WARNS HE WILL TAKE ‘FEDERAL CONTROL’ OF WASHINGTON, DC AS YOUTH VIOLENCE CONTINUES

Trump said he questioned whether the damage was caused by vandalism or “stupidity” and credited White House security equipment with cracking the case.

“They brought back the stupid people, with their boss watching (in sunglasses!),” Trump wrote in the post. “It was a subcontractor that was installing heavy landscaping on a steel cart that was broken and tilting badly, with it rubbing hard against the soft, beautiful stone.”

Security footage shared along with the post showed two workers pushing a yellow cart, carrying an apparent shrub over the newly installed stone.

At least two other men appeared to be watching the operation unfold.

Arch Manning had his toughest task of his limited college career on Saturday.

The likely eventual No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick leading the top-ranked Texas Longhorns went to Columbus, Ohio, Saturday to take on the reigning champion Ohio State Buckeyes, and they made him look human.

The son of Cooper Manning, Eli and Peyton’s brother, had just 38 passing yards entering the fourth quarter and finished completing just 17 of his 30 passes in a 14-7 loss.

The expectations for the top recruit are through the roof. Calls were made throughout last year that he should have been playing over Quinn Ewers, and when he did play, he impressed.

But Saturday was a different animal, and social media was out in full force.

A New York Jets fan account even said, “guys i don’t think the #Jets should tank for Arch.”

Manning was stuffed on 4th and goal from the one-yard line, threw a costly interception and almost threw a second.

He was given a chance at redemption when the Longhorns got the ball back with 2:26 left, and he started off hot with a perfect 30-yard throw. However, the stout Buckeyes defense stopped Texas from getting another first down.

Manning wasn’t the only quarterback with eyeballs on him. Julian Sayin made his Ohio State debut, going 13-for-20 with 126 yards and a touchdown.

‘Walking Tall’ sheriff accused of murdering wife after new evidence emerges

Tennessee Sheriff Buford Pusser, once celebrated as a crime-busting hero and the inspiration behind the Hollywood hit movie “Walking Tall,” faces new accusations of pulling the trigger that killed his wife.

A cold case review by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has concluded that there is probable cause that Pusser, who died in 1974, staged his wife’s 1967 murder. Prosecutors said Friday that if he were alive today, they would present an indictment to a grand jury for the murder of his wife, Pauline Mullins Pusser.

Investigators also said they uncovered signs that Pauline was a victim of domestic violence.

‘GO BIG OR GO HOME’: DISTURBING CONFESSION FROM HUSBAND WHO ALLEGEDLY MURDERED WIFE AND CONCEALED HER BODY

The McNairy County sheriff died in a car crash seven years after his wife’s death.

For nearly six decades, the public believed Buford and his wife were ambushed while responding to a disturbance. According to his account at the time, shots were fired from a passing vehicle, leaving Pauline dead and Buford severely wounded. The case closed, largely resting on his own testimony.

Prosecutors joined forces with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, which reopened Pauline’s case in 2022 during a cold case sweep, according to agency Director David Rausch.

Agents flagged inconsistencies between Buford’s account and the physical evidence as they chased down a tip about a possible murder weapon and exhumed Pauline’s body for a new autopsy.

The probe uncovered evidence that Pauline was shot outside the car and placed inside to fit Buford’s narrative.

Blood spatter patterns on the vehicle and surrounding ground did not align with his description of the scene.

SUZANNE MORPHEW’S REMAINS MAY HAVE BEEN MOVED TWICE AFTER BEING KILLED, FORENSIC SCIENTIST SAYS

During the reexamination of the case, Dr. Michael Revelle, an emergency medicine physician and medical examiner, found that cranial trauma sustained by Pauline didn’t match crime scene photographs of the car’s interior.

Pauline’s remains revealed signs of previous abuse, including a healed broken nose, and the evidence pointed to a violent marriage that Buford hid from the public.

Pauline’s brother, Griffon Mullins, expressed relief after the investigation update, saying, “You would fall in love with her because she was a people person. And, of course, my family would always go to Pauline if they had an issue or they needed some advice, and she was always there for them. She was just a sweet person. I loved her with all my heart.”

Mullins said he knew there was some trouble in Pauline’s marriage, but she wasn’t one to talk about her problems. For that reason, Mullins said he was “not totally shocked.”

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation plans to make the entire file, which exceeds 1,000 pages, available to the public by handing it over to the University of Tennessee at Martin once it finishes with redactions.

“This case is not about tearing down a legend. It is about giving dignity and closure to Pauline and her family and ensuring that the truth is not buried with time,” Mark Davidson, the district attorney for Tennessee’s 25th Judicial District, said at a news conference streamed online. “The truth matters. Justice matters. Even 58 years later. Pauline deserves both.”
