The gunman who opened fire at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas, sought “real terror” for agents and “searched apps that tracked the presence” of ICE personnel, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed Thursday.

Joshua Jahn, 29, was identified by sources familiar with the investigation as the shooter who opened fire from a rooftop toward the ICE facility, killing one detainee and injuring two others. The shooter died after turning the gun on himself, authorities said.

“FBI Dallas and FBI HQ have been working 24/7 to seize devices, exploit data, and process writings obtained on location and in the subject’s person/residence/bedroom,” Patel wrote on X. “One of the handwritten notes recovered read, ‘Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ’is there a sniper with AP [armor-piercing] rounds on that roof?'”

“He conducted multiple searches of ballistics and the ‘Charlie Kirk Shot Video’ between 9/23-9/24,” Patel added. “Between 8/19-8/24, he searched apps that tracked the presence of ICE agents.”

Patel also said the shooter “downloaded a document titled ‘Dallas County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management’ containing a list of DHS facilities.”

“Further accumulated evidence to this point indicates a high degree of pre-attack planning,” the FBI director said.

Patel also said that the gunman searched for videos of Charlie Kirk’s assassination in Utah leading up to the attack in Dallas on Wednesday.

Trump and Musk reunite in major agreement to revolutionize federal workforce

FIRST ON FOX: The Trump administration agency that manages the government’s real estate holdings, procurement and technology services is partnering with Elon Musk’s xAI in a move it says will cost effectively streamline federal workflow.

The General Services Administration announced on Thursday morning that federal agencies will now have access to Grok 4 and Grok 4 Fast as part of an agreement with xAI, valid until March 2027, that Musk says will make government drive innovation in government.

“xAI has the most powerful AI compute and most capable AI models in the world,” Musk, co-founder and CEO of xAI, said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“Thanks to President Trump and his administration, xAI’s frontier AI is now unlocked for every federal agency empowering the U.S. Government to innovate faster and accomplish its mission more effectively than ever before,” Musk added.

“We look forward to continuing to work with President Trump and his team to rapidly deploy AI throughout the government for the benefit of the country.”

ARMY PUSHES BATTLEFIELD AI AS COUNTER-DRONE FIGHT TAKES CENTER STAGE

Josh Gruenbaum, federal acquisition service commissioner at the General Services Administration, explained in a press release that the new widespread access to AI models is an “essential” tool not only in fulfilling Trump’s promise that the United States will win the AI race, but also for “building the efficient, accountable government that taxpayers deserve.”

As part of the agreement, xAI engineers will provide full support in order to “accelerate the adoption of Grok to transform government operations.”

The agreement between GSA and xAI will be effective immediately, allowing federal agencies to “begin leveraging the benefits of Grok AI models through GSA’s established procurement channels,” the GSA press release says.

MEET THE EX-BIDEN APPOINTEE WHO COULD BE MAJOR FORCE AGAINST TRUMP’S AI AGENDA: ‘DOOMSAYER”

Gruenbaum told Fox News Digital the AI tools being deployed are essential to the goal of aligning with Trump’s goal of modernizing government operations and winning the race with China to dominate the AI space, adding that xAI “stood out” as a strong partner that offers “world class technical talent.”

“This technology could be as transformative as the internet, maybe more,” Gruenbaum said about artificial intelligence. “Right now, we’re in the human-augmentation phase, but soon agents will be able to handle tasks more independently. That raises questions of values—what data, history, and perspectives are embedded in these systems. It’s crucial that Western, American values are front and center. We need to work with allies to ensure those values shape the technology that ends up leading the world.”

The agreement, the final frontier model to be unveiled as part of the GSA’s comprehensive OneGov Strategy, will also be providing agencies with an “upgrade path” to the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, a government compliance program standardizing security measures.

“‘Grok for Government’ will deliver transformational AI capabilities at $0.42 per agency for 18 months, with a dedicated engineering team ensuring mission success,” xAI cofounder Ross Nordeen said in a statement.

“We will work hand in glove with the entire government to not only deploy AI, but to deeply understand the needs of our government to make America the world leader in advanced use of AI “

Gruenbaum called it “impressive” from a “milestone perspective” how “quickly we got all these frontier models onto the GSA schedules—at dollar deals or less.”

“This one is the best value yet, and with the longest duration. That’s a big deal.”

Last month, GSA announced the launch of a new tool it says will be instrumental in enabling agencies across the federal government to efficiently implement artificial intelligence at scale and take a major step forward rolling out the president’s “AI Action Plan.”

The Trump administration rolled out it’s A.I. Action Plan in July after Trump ordered the federal government in January to develop a plan of action for artificial intelligence in order to “solidify our position as the global leader in AI and secure a brighter future for all Americans.”

Trump has made U.S. artificial intelligence growth a cornerstone of his administration, such as notching multi-billion deals with high-tech firms such as Oracle and OpenAI for the Stargate project, which is an effort to launch large data centers in the U.S, as well as a $90 billion energy and tech investment deal specifically for the state of Pennsylvania to make it the U.S. hub for AI.

After completing his tenure with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in late May and a public falling out with Trump, Musk was seen sitting next to and talking with Trump at the memorial service for Charlie Kirk last weekend in Arizona, suggesting a possible rekindling of their friendship.

“Elon came over and said hello,” Trump said to reporters after the event. “I thought it was nice, he came over, we had a little conversation.”

A GSA spokesperson told Fox News Digital the agreement with xAI has been in the works for weeks.

A man has been arrested after authorities said he made social media threats just hours before students and community members gathered for a vigil honoring Charlie Kirk at the University of Texas at San Antonio, according to reports.

Xaelyn Dunbar, 19, has been charged with making a terroristic threat by intentionally and knowingly threatening to commit violence. He allegedly suggested in a Sept. 15 Facebook comment that he planned to use his truck to disrupt the vigil, which drew roughly 1,000 people later that evening, the San Antonio Express News reported, citing an arrest affidavit.

The threats surfaced on the Facebook page of the San Antonio Young Republicans, which was promoting the campus vigil for Kirk, the Turning Point USA co-founder who was assassinated on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University.

YEARS OF CAMPUS ATTACKS ON CONSERVATIVE ACTIVISTS RESURFACE AFTER CHARLIE KIRK’S MURDER

“This is a disgrace and I can tell you right now ima make sure this won’t be a good nor comforting vigil yall watch and see. Ima make this a movie … me and my truck,” Dunbar allegedly wrote, per the affidavit cited by the San Antonio Express News.

When another user questioned him, he replied: “You’ll see tmr I jus wouldn’t advise tryna stop a Ford 250 Diesel truck. Show yall how much Charlie really means.”

The comments were flagged by the Southwest Texas Fusion Center, an interagency intelligence hub run by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), and were relayed to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Police Department.

A UTSA captain alerted the SAPD, which sent its officers, along with Universal City police, to Dunbar’s Sagebrush Apartments on the northeast side of the city that evening.

Dunbar admitted to posting the Facebook comments and acknowledged they could be seen as threatening, but he insisted he was “being dumb” and “clowning around,” according to the affidavit.

He allegedly told officers, “Even if I’m 19 years old, that doesn’t mean I won’t still act like a kid.”

Asked if the threats were worth criminal charges, he replied, “If that’s what it takes, I did what I did, and I can take the consequences,” according to the affidavit.

He remains held in the Bexar County Jail on a $40,000 bond.

Harris reveals radical Dem was part of ‘secret project’ of lawmakers she was mentoring

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, was among a select group of Democrats who then-Vice President Kamala Harris sought to bolster via a top secret “Stars Project,” the 2024 White House hopeful’s new memoir reveals.

Harris dove deep into her brief presidential campaign in a new book released on Tuesday called “107 Days,” with the title referencing the time between the beginning and end of her 2024 bid.

In one section, Harris discussed planning the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and said it was “in the party’s interest to highlight our stars, while we make it as entertaining as possible.”

58 HOUSE DEMS VOTE AGAINST RESOLUTION HONORING ‘LIFE AND LEGACY’ OF CHARLIE KIRK

“When I became VP, I had a secret project – I called it the Stars Project – that only my senior team knew about. We’d brainstorm about the younger talents in the party and then, on Friday afternoons, I’d invite one or another to visit my office in the West Wing or the residence,” Harris wrote.

Several were nervous, she recounted, but Harris recalled telling them, “No, I think you’re very talented. What are you working on, and how can I help you?”

FAR-LEFT FIREBRAND SAYS SHE ‘NEVER HAD A CONCERN’ ABOUT BIDEN’S MENTAL STATE

“Many of those on my list spoke at the convention: Lauren Underwood, Robert Garcia, Angela Alsobrooks, Lateefah Simon, Maxwell Frost, Joe Neguse, Lina Hidalgo, Jasmine Crockett,” Harris listed.

Crockett, who has received backlash from conservatives for comparing ICE to “slave patrols” and supporting defunding police, appeared to reference the passage in content she cross-posted on her personal Instagram account.

The post was from a Texas politics-based account called “howdypolitics” that shared, “Kamala Harris had a secret project only known to senior staff called the ‘Stars Project,’ to privately mentor rising stars in the party. She made sure that many of them received speaking slots during the convention. That is what Jasmine Crockett was talking about in her speech at the DNC.”

Crockett did reference a meeting with Harris in her speech at the DNC in summer 2024.

“When I first got to Congress, I wasn’t sure I made the right decision. The chaos caucus couldn’t elect a speaker and the Oversight Committee was unhinged. I was going through all of this when I visited the vice president’s residence for the first time. As I approached Vice President Harris for our official photo, she turned to me and asked, ‘What’s wrong?’” Crockett recalled.

“Mind you, we’d never met. But she saw right through me. She saw the distress. I immediately began crying, and the most powerful woman in the world wiped my tears and listened.”

She said Harris told her, “You are exactly where God wants you. Your district chose you because they believe in you. And so do I.”

“The next month I went viral for the first of many times to come for hitting Republicans with a dose of their own medicine. That brief but impactful interaction gave me my legislative legs and I’ve been running ever since,” Crockett said.

Crockett recently ignited backlash from conservatives after slamming White lawmakers for honoring Charlie Kirk after his assassination.

“And to be clear, you can wave all the flags you want to, but I am telling you right now that the most unpatriotic people that we have in this country are MAGA and this president. We are the real patriots. And it is time for us to take our flag back and show people what America is about,” she said.

Fox News Digital reached out to Crockett for further comment on Harris’ book excerpt and her speech at the DNC.

Oklahoma family members recently hit the jackpot when they found an impressive diamond at an Arkansas state park this month – with tools they bought at a dollar store.

The discovery, made at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, was announced by Arkansas State Parks on Sept. 23.

A family from Cookson, Oklahoma, some 65 miles southeast of Tulsa, made the discovery on Sept. 13.

HOBBYISTS SEARCHING FOR ROCKETS ACCIDENTALLY UNEARTH ‘INCREDIBLE’ ANCIENT TREASURES BURIED DEEP UNDERGROUND

Officials said that visitor Raynae Madison and her family visited the Natural State to celebrate the birthday of Madison’s nephew, William.

During the trip, they decided to stop by Crater of Diamonds State Park to try their luck at digging gems, according to a press release.

“To prepare for their visit, they purchased a beach digging kit and sand sifting tools from a dollar store,” the press release noted.

“The family picked a spot to dig on the north side of the park’s 37.5-acre diamond search area, near Prospector Trailhead.”

ELITE ROMAN FAMILY’S ANCIENT TREASURE UNEARTHED IN RUINS OF FIRE-SCORCHED DWELLING

The family dug a few buckets’ worth of dirt before they began sifting through their screens – which is when Madison noticed “an unusual oblong, shiny stone.”

The aunt told officials that she thought the find was “really neat,” at first, but had no idea what it was.

“[Brown diamonds] reflect red and green light, combining to make the diamond appear brown.”

“I honestly thought it was too big to be a diamond!” she said.

The gem was then identified to be a brown diamond weighing 2.79 carats – an impressively hefty find for the state park.

Madison opted to name it the William Diamond, for her nephew.

“Brown diamonds from the Crater occur due to a process called plastic deformation, which creates structural defects during a diamond’s formation or movement in magma,” park interpreter Emma O’Neal said of the find.

“These defects reflect red and green light, combining to make the diamond appear brown.”

Arkansas State Parks does not disclose the value of gems found at their park, and their website notes that the “exact value” of many diamonds is unknown until they are cut or appraised.

“Park staff do not grade or appraise diamonds,” the site states.

So far, 403 diamonds have been found at Crater of Diamonds State Park in 2025 – four of which have weighed over two carats.

Earlier this year, a Minnesota farmer found a “candy-like” diamond that he compared to a Werther’s candy wrapper.

Emma Watson is opening up about how her experience filming the “Harry Potter” franchise shaped her view of the entertainment industry.

During a recent appearance on the “On Purpose” podcast, hosted by Jay Shetty, the 35-year-old actress shared what it was like working on other projects after filming on the eight films in the franchise was completed.

“It’s so unusual to make a set of films for 12 years,” she said. “We were a community, we really were. So I took that as an expectation into my other workplaces, and I got my a– kicked. I really did.”

The actress shot to stardom when she starred as Hermione Granger in the first “Harry Potter” movie at age 11. She went on to play the character in all eight films in the franchise, turning 21 when the final installment was released in 2011.

EMMA WATSON DOESN’T MISS THE ‘SOUL-DESTROYING’ SIDE OF HOLLYWOOD

While filming the franchise over the course of a decade, Watson explained she developed close relationships with her co-stars, and found it to be “bone-breakingly painful” when she moved on to other film sets and realized “most people don’t come to those environments looking for friendships.”

Watson admitted she began to doubt whether she was cut out for Hollywood.

“I’m just not thick-skinned,” she explained. “Maybe I just wasn’t built for those kinds of highly competitive environments. It broke me.”

She became emotional, adding, “But in a way I’m proud that it did, because I guess that means I have something left to break. I have a heart left to break.”

“We were a community, we really were. So I took that as an expectation into my other workplaces, and I got my a– kicked. I really did.”

“There’s something that I’m proud of in a way, that there were certain things I couldn’t withstand,” she declared. “I’d much rather keep my humanity.”

The actress also spoke about her experience as a child star in a recent interview with People, admitting, “In some ways I really won the lottery [with acting],” but that there were parts of the job she couldn’t reconcile with.

After the “Harry Potter” franchise came to an end, Watson starred in a number of successful films, including “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” but chose to step away from acting after starring in the 2019 adaptation of “Little Women.”

“A bigger component than the actual job itself is the promotion and selling of that piece of work, this piece of art,” she explained to the outlet. “The balance of that can get quite thrown off. I think I’ll be honest and straightforward, and say: I do not miss selling things. I found that to be quite soul-destroying.”

During the “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” special on HBO Max, Watson’s co-star, Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the franchise, revealed the actress was thinking about leaving the film series after filming the fourth film.

“I think I was scared,” she told Grint about the immediate fame she experienced, adding, “I don’t know if you ever felt like it got to a tipping point where you were like, this is kind of forever now.”

Watson and Grint starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe in all eight films in the franchise to play the three lead characters, with Radcliffe playing the main character, Harry Potter.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said on Wednesday that it detected Russian aircraft operating in the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).

NORAD identified the aircraft as two Tu-95s, which are long-range strategic bombers, and two Su-35s, which are advanced fighter jets.

“The Russian military aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace. This Russian activity in the Alaskan ADIZ occurs regularly and is not seen as a threat,” NORAD said in a statement.

NORAD said it responded with an E-3, four F-16s and four KC-135 tankers “to positively identify and intercept in the Alaskan ADIZ.”

RUSSIAN JETS VIOLATE ESTONIAN AIRSPACE, FOREIGN MINISTER SAYS

NORAD noted that the Alaskan ADIZ begins where the U.S. and Canada’s sovereign airspace ends.

Last month, NORAD detected one IL-20 COOT operating in the Alaskan ADIZ. It responded with an E-3, two F-16s and two KC-135s to intercept and visually identify the Russian aircraft in the Alaskan ADIZ. NORAD also noted after that incident that Russian activity regularly occurs in the Alaskan ADIZ and is not necessarily a threat.

NORAD’s announcement Thursday comes as Russia is blamed for incursions into the airspaces of Estonia and Poland, both NATO countries.

NATO WARNS RUSSIA AFTER POLAND SHOOTS DOWN ‘HUGE NUMBER’ OF DRONES THAT VIOLATED ITS AIRSPACE

Three Russian MiG-31 jets flew together over Estonia on Sept. 19, two NATO sources independently told Fox News Digital. The jets flew back and forth for over 12 minutes before Italian F-35s “pushed them out,” according to the sources.

“Russia has already violated Estonia’s airspace four times this year, which in itself is unacceptable. But today’s incursion, involving three fighter aircraft entering our airspace, is unprecedentedly brazen,” said Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. “Russia’s increasingly extensive testing of boundaries and growing aggressiveness must be met with a swift increase in political and economic pressure.”

NATO allies met on Tuesday following the incursion at the request of Estonia, which triggered Article 4.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on behalf of member states that Russia’s actions were “escalatory.”

“We do not want to see a continuation of this dangerous pattern by Russia, intentional or not,” Rutte said. “But we stand ready and willing to continue to defend every inch of ally territory.”

New twist months after infamous Coldplay kiss cam scandal

A Coldplay concert video took the internet by storm and triggered the resignation of two top executives at data company Astronomer. However, a source close to one of them is now speaking out that the controversy was misrepresented and that there was “no affair.”

Former CEO Andy Byron, 51, and then-Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, 53, were shown embracing on a jumbotron in July. A viral video showed the duo ducking out of view, which prompted Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to joke about their reaction. However, according to a source close to Cabot, that viral moment was not entirely what it seemed, People magazine reported.

UNCOMFORTABLE COUPLE CAUGHT ON COLDPLAY CONCERT CAMERA SENDS INTERNET INTO INVESTIGATIVE FRENZY

“[Kristin Cabot] and [Andy Byron] had an excellent working relationship, a great friendship,” the source told People. “There was no affair.”

The source added, “It was inappropriate to be hugging your boss at a concert, and she accepts full responsibility for it. But the scandal, the downfall, the loss of the job — all of that is unfair.”

Kristin Cabot — married to head of Privateer Rum, Andrew Cabot — has been mislabeled as a “homewrecker” and she and Andy were at the concert with a group of friends, the source said.

HUSBAND BREAKS SILENCE AFTER WIFE’S VIRAL COLDPLAY KISS CAM MOMENT WITH MARRIED BOSS

By the night of the event, Cabot and her husband had already been separated. She formally filed for divorce on Aug. 13, a little less than a month after the concert, with both parties agreeing to keep the proceedings private, People reported.

The controversy involves “real people and real families,” the source told People.

“The way people have taken a lot of enjoyment at their expense, it’s hard to see,” they said.

In the months since the video went viral, Cabot has largely been focusing on her family. In the days immediately after the video took over the internet, Cabot reportedly received nearly 900 death threats on her phone. People have also mocked her in public, the source told People.

ASTRONOMER CEO CAUGHT CUDDLING ON CONCERT JUMBOTRON WITH HR HEAD STEPS DOWN

“Kristin had people standing outside her car while she was picking her son up from work, grown women laughing, taking pictures, pointing,” the source told People. “It’s been a tough thing to watch.”

On July 16, Byron and Cabot were spotted with their arms around each other when the concert jumbotron suddenly focused on them. Caught off guard, they quickly hid their faces and ducked out of view.

Their awkward reaction led Coldplay’s Chris Martin to joke, “Woah, look at these two. They’re either having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Byron resigned July 19, and Cabot resigned as head of HR just a few days later. Losing her job at Astronomer after just seven months was also difficult for Cabot, the source said.

“Kristin has a lot of family and friends around her that know who she really is and love her, and will all see her through this,” the source told People. “… It will take time.”

Vice President JD Vance dismissed former MSNBC host Joy Reid’s fiery tirade against his credentials with a goofy meme on Wednesday.

Reid, who was fired from MSNBC in February, went viral for comments about Vance during an interview with former CNN anchor Don Lemon.

After saying that she mourns the way Charlie Kirk died, she went on to criticize his rhetoric about affirmative action and how it applies to women like Reid, former first lady Michelle Obama, former congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. Reid argued that affirmative action has been used to empower “mediocre” White men like Vance.

SPACED OUT: SHEILA JACKSON LEE TELLS TEXAS STUDENTS ‘PLANET’ MOON IS ‘MADE UP MOSTLY OF GASES

Reid blasted the empowerment of “White people who are essentially mediocre in scale compared to a Black person,” suggesting, “maybe the way that JD Vance got into Yale is because they were tired of just letting in White men from New York, from all the elite schools, and they wanted an Appalachian White. That’s how that man got into Yale, I promise you.”

Reid has frequently gone on tirades against White people, White men in particular. She recently described American icon Elvis Presley as a mediocre White man.

Talking to Lemon, Reid argued diversity initiatives bring in people of all backgrounds, such as “disabled people, military veterans, people who come from Appalachia, White folks who come from Alaska and different places that they don’t normally come from.”

She cited herself as a beneficiary of affirmative action and suggested her right-wing critics should be thankful to God for the privilege of knowing who she is.

JOY REID CLAIMS MAGA VOTERS WILL SACRIFICE THEIR DAUGHTERS TO PLEASE TRUMP

“Right-wingers, you have the ability to know who I am when I don’t know who most of y’all are, but you know me because affirmative action brought me your way,” she said. “Tell the Lord, ‘Thank you.’ Be grateful for all that God has given you. God knows what God is doing. She a smart, smart lady.”

“She probably Black,” Lemon said.

“And she definitely Black,” Reid responded.

Vance responded to a post sharing the clip with an image of himself, appearing to mock Reid’s commentary. Many of his supporters joined in with memes of their own in their replies.
