Hegseth orders investigation into retired Navy captain Kelly’s controversial video
The Department of War released an update via X on Tuesday regarding “potentially unlawful conduct” exhibited by Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., in the viral video titled “Don’t Give Up the Ship” which critics claim encouraged treason from service members.
War Secretary Pete Hegseth demanded an update on the review by Dec. 10.
“The Department of War recently received information regarding potentially unlawful comments made by CAPT (Ret) Mark E. Kelly in a public video, on or about November 18, 2025. I am referring this, and any other related matters, for your review, consideration, and disposition as you deem appropriate,” Hegseth wrote.
“Please provide me a brief on the outcome of your review by no later than December 10, 2025,” his letter concluded.
HEGSETH RIPS MARK KELLY’S POST ABOUT HIS SERVICE: ‘YOU CAN’T EVEN DISPLAY YOUR UNIFORM CORRECTLY’
Hegseth addressed his letter to the Secretary of the Navy, John Phelan. Kelly served in the Navy as a captain before running for office.
Kelly is the highest-ranking veteran featured in the viral “Don’t Give Up the Ship” video.
Others appearing in the clip include Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., a former Army O-3; Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, D-Pa., a former U.S. Air Force O‑3; White House national security adviser Eric Goodlander, a Naval Reserve officer; Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., a former CIA analyst; and Rep. Chris Deluzio, D-Pa., an E‑5 in the Army National Guard Reserves.

Massive bar raid ends with 249 arrests: ‘Underage drinking is not a minor issue!’
A massive operation targeting underage drinking in Tempe, Arizona, has led to 249 arrests at a single bar last week.
The raid, which took place last Thursday at Tempe Tavern, was the second major police sweep at the bar in just one year. The incident involved underage drinkers who used fake IDs and gave false information, according to Fox 10 Phoenix.
Reports of the repeated violations have raised questions about the bar’s responsibility in serving alcohol to its customers. While sanctions are pending due to the ongoing investigations, the incident could result in license suspension.
“The Arizona Department of Liquor and Tempe PD partnered in a joint operation, resulting in a major liquor law compliance check that led to 249 arrests,” the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control (ADLLC) said Friday.
FEDERAL AGENTS RAID DALLAS STRIP CLUB, ARREST 41 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN HUMAN TRAFFICKING INVESTIGATION
“This crackdown specifically targeted underage drinking and sent a strong message,” the department added. “Remember to always carry a valid ID and think twice before attempting to purchase alcohol if you are underage. Underage drinking is not a minor issue!!”
Of the 249 arrests, 246 people were cited and released, Fox 10 reported. The remaining individuals were reportedly booked into the Tempe City Jail.
Tempe Tavern told Fox News Digital Tuesday that the establishment is “fully committed to cooperating with all authorities involved,” but declined to comment further “due to the ongoing investigation.”
DRUNK 13-YEAR-OLD CRASHES STOLEN VEHICLE WITH 11-YEAR-OLD PASSENGER INSIDE IN ARIZONA
The ADLLC investigations lieutenant told Fox 10 that the department will only place sanctions, such as a liquor license suspension or fines, after the Tempe Police Department finishes its investigation.
The lieutenant added that the department will take everything into consideration when making a decision, including the fact that a similar police sweep happened at the tavern in April and led to another 167 arrests, the outlet said.
Following the incident, management posted to Facebook stating that neither the bar nor its employees received citations from the liquor board or Tempe police from that prior incident.
Tempe Tavern acknowledged on social media that fake IDs have been a concern and stated that the bar scans every single ID presented at the door before entry, but noted that some fraudulent IDs can still successfully pass a scan and appear authentic.

“Tempe Tavern complies with the law, which is why neither the bar nor its employees received citations from the liquor board or the Tempe Police Department,” the business said in May.
The Tempe Police Department and the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
Mayor Bowser ends reign after admitting Trump’s federal officers helped reduce crime
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced on Tuesday she will not seek re-election for a fourth term, ending her decade-long reign in the nation’s capital.
The Democrat, who previously represented the 4th ward as a member of the D.C. Council, shared the news in a video posted to social media.
“My fellow Washingtonians, for 10 years, you and I have worked together on an ambitious agenda to restore faith in our government and ensure that every D.C. resident gets the fair shot they deserve,” Bowser said. “To keep that promise, we took big swings, keeping D.C. teams in D.C., raising enrollment and graduation rates in our schools, and investing more money in housing than any other city or state, creating 36,000 homes.”
She added her administration drove unemployment to its lowest levels, achieved strong reserves and completed the largest infrastructure project in city history with the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.

“We also brought our city back from the ravages of a global pandemic, and summoned our collective strength to stand tall against bullies who threaten our very autonomy, while preserving home rule. That is our North Star,” Bowser said. “… Looking to the future, I know we’ve laid the groundwork for others to build upon, to reshape and grow D.C.’s economy, establish D.C. as the 51st state, and protect our investments in affordable housing, transportation, public safety and public schools.
“… When you placed your trust in me 10 years ago, you gave me an extraordinary opportunity to have a positive impact on my hometown. Every day since, I’ve cherished the opportunity and have happily given all my passion and energy to the job that I love. Together, you and I have built a legacy of success, of which I’m intensely proud, and for the next 12 months, let’s run through the tape and keep winning for D.C.”
The announcement came months after Bowser pushed back on President Donald Trump’s plans to deploy National Guard troops to restore public safety in the capital.
‘RESISTANCE’ LEFT BLASTED BY WASHINGTON POST AS MAYOR BOWSER BACKS TRUMP’S DC CRIME PLAN
In August, she admitted the success of the federal crime crackdown, noting she appreciated the surge of officers that “enhance what [the Metropolitan Police Department] has been able to do in this city.”
“Having more federal law enforcement officers on the street — [has led to] having more stops that got to illegal guns,” Bowser said during a prior news conference. “We think that there is more accountability in the system, or at least perceived accountability in the system, that is driving down illegal behavior. We know that we have had fewer gun crimes, fewer homicides, and we have experienced an extreme reduction in carjackings.”
However, she noted there was a “break in trust” between the community and police, criticizing the use of masked ICE agents in neighborhoods.

Florida suspect’s alleged disturbing livestream terror plans uncovered in federal raid
A Florida man was arrested after an FBI investigation linked him to multiple extremist group chats on the encrypted messaging app Signal, where agents claim he used aliases to share disturbing graphic messages, detailed instructions for explosives and violent neo-Nazi propaganda.
Lucas Alexander Temple, 20, is facing federal charges for distribution of information regarding the manufacturing or use of explosives and possession of an unregistered short-barreled shotgun, according to court documents.
According to criminal complaints, Temple shared a hand-drawn diagram of a homemade detonator, linked to YouTube videos describing how to synthesize dynamite and construct blasting caps, and posted a 122-page extremist manual filled with White supremacist rhetoric.
Investigators said the chats also included graphic discussions promoting rape, torture and murder, including the killing of non-White children.

Screenshots of messages allegedly sent by Temple’s aliases included phrases like, “How long would it take to rape a femboy to death?” and discussions about sexually assaulting men.
Temple’s online aliases were linked to his true identity through personal details shared in chats — including his age, job at a grocery store and a family museum visit — and were verified with state records and security footage, according to the complaint.
While executing a search warrant at Temple’s home on Thursday, FBI agents found neo-Nazi propaganda, a book related to Columbine High School shooters Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris and a Springfield Model 67 Series E shotgun with a barrel shorter than 18 inches.
The barrel was allegedly sawed off and found in a separate area by investigators.

ATF records confirmed Temple was not registered to have the weapon.
Agents also found a handwritten note that said, “Plans: Wear body cams for livestream. Notify friends of livestream. Put flags on car. Play music on car speakers during operation. Place motion-activated bombs in doorways (for cops).”

Temple was taken into custody after the search.

Former NFL star’s wife slams critics’ claims that she gave her daughters ‘boy names’
Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce shares four daughters with wife Kylie. The Super Bowl champion has been candid about his and Kylie’s experiences parenting girls.
But their willingness to bring some aspects of their personal lives to the public has, at times, given online critics the opportunity to share their opinions — even in cases when they were not asked for.
During a recent edition of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie addressed the topic of her children’s names.

Kylie took issue with the line of questioning that asserted her daughters were given “boy names.” She described the question as “rage bait.”
KYLIE KELCE WARNS COWBOYS FANS WHO TRICK-OR-TREAT AT HER HOUSE: ‘RAISE YOUR KIDS RIGHT’
“This next question appears to be pure rage bait. ‘What’s with the boy names?’ I’ll tell you what’s with the boys’ names,” Kelce said. “We, my husband and I, liked gender-neutral names for our daughters.”
Jason’s and Kylie’s daughters are named Wyatt, 6; Elliotte, 4; Bennett, 2; and Finn, 7 months. Kylie added that the name Wyatt was selected before she or Jason learned the gender.
Kylie made it clear that she was not seeking out unsolicited opinions about the names she and Jason settled on for their children.
“The part that I take issue with on people having issue with our names is that I actually didn’t ask. I didn’t ask what you thought about my kids’ names. My husband and I agreed on the names. We like them. You, honestly, you should try naming a human being. It’s not easy. And so, yeah, I’m good.”
During a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which Jason co-hosts with his brother Travis Kelce, the 38-year-old former NFL star revealed he is often in sync with his wife when it comes to disciplining their children.
“We’re on the same page almost all the time,” Jason said. “We’re both pretty disciplinarian when it comes to the girls.”

He also recalled the feelings he experienced when he first became a father.
“When I first found out I was having Wyatt, I was like, ‘Okay. I’m not gonna raise her any different than how I would raise a boy. Like, I’m gonna make her tough and disciplined, and I’m not gonna be like this, like, daddy’s daughter who’s getting everything she wants,’” he said.
“Then the moment she came out, it was very hard to not be that dad… it is very difficult when they look at me a certain way to not cave, like, instantaneously.”
Blacklisted actor Kevin Spacey clarifies his living situation after sparking concern
Days after it was reported that Kevin Spacey was homeless and living out of hotels and Airbnbs, the “House of Cards” actor has addressed the “rumors” surrounding his current living situation.
On Sunday, Spacey, who was blacklisted from Hollywood after sexual assault claims from various men surfaced years ago, took to Instagram to clarify his comments made in a recent Telegraph article in which he opened up about how his legal woes have impacted his life while claiming he has no home.
“I don’t usually make it my business to correct the media. If I did, I wouldn’t have time for much else,” he said in the video posted on Instagram. “In light of the recent articles claiming that I am homeless, I feel the need to respond. Not to the press but to the thousands of people who have reached out over the past few days, offering me a place to stay or who have just asked if I’m OK.
KEVIN SPACEY FOUND NOT GUILTY IN SEXUAL ASSAULT TRIAL
“And to all of you, let me say that I’m truly touched by your generosity, full stop,” Spacey continued. “But I feel like it would be disingenuous of me to allow you to believe that I’m indeed homeless in the colloquial sense.

“In my conversation with Mick Brown, the wonderful journalist who wrote the story that was in The Telegraph where this rumor first began, I said I was basically living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is,” the actor added. “Just as I did when I first started out in this business. I’ve been working nearly nonstop this entire year, and for that, I have so much to be grateful for.”
Spacey said that while “there are many people who are indeed living on the streets or in their cars or in terrible financial situations,” he is not one of them.
“And my heart goes out to them,” he said. “But it’s clear from the article itself that I am not one of them, nor was I attempting to say that I was.”
Spacey concluded the post by thanking his fans for all the kindness and support before signing off.

In the recent interview with The Telegraph, Spacey spoke about how he is attempting to recover from the financial burden he’s facing.
“The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical,” said Spacey, who recently took the stage in a nightclub in Cyprus to perform his show, “Kevin Spacey: Songs & Stories.” “I’ve had very little coming in and everything going out.
“You get through it. In weird ways, I feel I’m back to where I first started, which is I just went where the work was. Everything is in storage, and I hope, at some point, if things continue to improve, that I’ll be able to decide where I want to settle down again.
“I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain,” he added.
Spacey admitted his financial situation is “not great” and revealed he almost filed for bankruptcy at one point.
A representative for Spacey did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment at the time.
Spacey was acquitted on sexual misconduct charges in July 2023 after four weeks of testimony. Spacey had pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual assault, indecent assault and causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
The jury found him not guilty.
“I imagine that many of you can understand that there’s a lot for me to process after what has just happened today,” Spacey said after the verdict was given. “But I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts, carefully, before they reached their decision.

“I am humbled by the outcome today,” he added. “I also want to thank the staff inside this courthouse, the security, Evan Lowenstein and all those who took care of us every single day, my legal team … for being here every day.”
Spacey told The Telegraph he’s hopeful for the future.
“We are in touch with some extremely powerful people who want to put me back to work,” Spacey said. “And that will happen in its right time. But I will also say what I think the industry seems to be waiting for is to be given permission — by someone who is in some position of enormous respect and authority.
“So, my feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino call Evan [his manager, Evan Lowenstein] tomorrow, it will be over. I will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone.

Golf influencer claims ‘tens of thousands of death threats’ after cheating scandal
The Internet Invitational put Paige Spiranac in a bad light, and she said she has received a lot of hate in the aftermath.
Spiranac was part of the final group in the 48-person tournament of golf influencers and YouTubers run by Barstool Sports and Bob Does Sports. She was paired with Barstool’s Frankie Borrelli and Good Good Golf’s Malosi Togisala against Brad Dalke of Good Good and Cody “Beefe” Franke and Francis Ellis from Barstool.
Spiranac’s squad lost the $1 million prize on the 18th hole of the final match, and many viewers considered it karma after both Spiranac and Togisala were wrapped up in cheating scandals. Spiranac was caught on film improving a lie in the final match, claiming she thought it was allowed and then starting to cry.
Later, Togisala was speculated to have been using the slope on his rangefinder. Rangefinders were permitted, but using the slope was not.

Spiranac, who got testy early in the championship by calling out Ellis for not playing “competitive golf” before, said she has received “tens of thousands of death threats” since the championship match was posted to YouTube during what has been “an interesting week.”
“The last week and a half is probably the worst hate I’ve ever received in the 10 years of me doing this,” Spiranac said on her Instagram story. “I’m talking tens of thousands of death threats, people telling me to kill myself. The most vile, horrendous stuff you could ever say to an individual that’s been in my DMs to the point where we were discussing me having to potentially get a restraining order. I mean, it’s serious stuff. It’s not easy, and it hasn’t been easy.”
Spiranac has been noticeably quiet on social media since the championship match dropped.
TWO-TIME US OPEN CHAMPION BRYSON DECHAMBEAU CONTINUES FINE-TUNING EVERY EDGE OF HIS GAME
“I know people are wondering why I haven’t posted or why I haven’t talked about it. I just needed to remove myself for my mental health,” she said.
“One thing that I really struggle with is wanting to be liked and accepted, and I don’t want anyone to ever dislike me. And I always try to do everything I can to have people like me. And, so, it’s just hard for me as a person with how I process things and then obviously the situation has not been easy either. But, luckily, having a good support system, family around and just trying to stay distracted.”
Spiranac again claimed to not know the rules about improving lies, saying she would never cheat on purpose.
“I am painfully, painfully embarrassed that I did not know this rule,” she said in an Instagram story, hinting at the karma that hit her for her comments about Ellis. “I would never intentionally cheat. In all my years of playing golf, I have never been accused of cheating. There were so many cameras on me. To blatantly cheat with that many people around, that many cameras around, would be insane. So, I made a mistake. I learned now that it was a rules infraction, and I’ll never do it again.”

The event was filmed over the summer at Cedar Lodge Resort in Ridgedale, Missouri, with the final match being played at Payne’s Valley. Franke, one of the winners, died earlier this month.

Over 41,000 bottles of common medication recalled over possible contamination
Those looking for relief from a cold or the flu may want to check their bottle of nasal spray before using it.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a recall affecting 41,328 bottles of Walgreens nasal spray over concerns they may be contaminated with pseudomonas lactis, a bacterium found in raw milk. The specific spray affected by the recall is the 1.5-oz (45mL) bottle of Walgreens Saline Nasal Spray with Xylitol.
“Under the guidance of the FDA, our supplier has initiated a voluntary recall of Walgreens Saline Nasal Spray WITH XYLITOL. This was done out of an abundance of caution and the safety of our customers remains our top priority,” a Walgreens spokesperson told Fox Business.
The recalled products have the following lots and expiration dates:
- Lot No. 71409 — Expires: 2/28/2027
- Lot No. 71861 — Expires: 8/31/2027
The affected sprays were sold at Walgreens locations across the country, according to the FDA.
COSTCO RECALLS POPULAR READY-TO-EAT FOOD ITEMS OVER PLASTIC CONTAMINATION CONCERNS
The Walgreens spokesperson told Fox Business that “consumers with affected product should not use it and return it to a store for a full refund.”
Authorities did not say how the nasal spray was contaminated and issued a Class II recall, the second-highest risk level, noting it was a voluntary recall.
The FDA says a Class II recall is issued when exposure to or use of a possibly contaminated product could “cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.” The classification can also be used if the “probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released its flu season guidelines in August, recommending that all individuals six months or older receive a flu vaccine. The CDC notes that “vaccination is particularly important” for those at higher risk of serious complications from the flu.

To prevent the spread of the flu, the CDC recommends that, in addition to getting vaccinated, sick individuals avoid contact with healthy individuals and vice versa. The agency also recommends washing one’s hands often.
Trump reveals secret negotiations underway as war casualties mount
President Donald Trump has stated that he will not meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin or Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy until the emerging Russia-Ukraine peace agreement is either complete or in its final stage.
In a lengthy post shared on Truth Social Tuesday, Trump emphasized “tremendous progress” had been made over the past week, calling it the most significant movement toward peace since the Ukraine war began.
FROM ISRAEL TO UKRAINE, TRUMP SPENDS WEEK FOCUSED ON NAVIGATING GLOBAL CONFLICTS
He wrote: “Over the past week, my team has made tremendous progress with respect to ending the War between Russia and Ukraine (A War that would have NEVER started if I were President!). Last month 25,000 soldiers died. The original 28-Point Peace Plan, which was drafted by the United States, has been fine-tuned, with additional input from both sides, and there are only a few remaining points of disagreement.”
Trump continued by outlining the next steps in the negotiation process:
“In the hopes of finalizing this Peace Plan, I have directed my Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to meet with President Putin in Moscow and, at the same time, Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll will be meeting with the Ukrainians. I will be briefed on all progress made, along with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.”
TRUMP SAYS ‘TREMENDOUS BAD BLOOD’ BETWEEN ZELENSKYY, PUTIN DELAYING PEACE DEAL DESPITE MIDDLE EAST MOMENTUM
He concluded his post by explaining when he would be willing to meet with Zelenskyy and Putin:
“I look forward to hopefully meeting with President Zelenskyy and President Putin soon, but ONLY when the deal to end this War is FINAL or, in its final stages,”
“Thank you for your attention to this very important matter, and let’s all hope that PEACE can be accomplished AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!” he added.
COULD TRUMP’S GAZA CEASEFIRE PLAN OFFER A BLUEPRINT FOR PEACE IN UKRAINE?
A revised peace framework, changed from the original 28 points, has reportedly gained preliminary acceptance from both Kyiv and Washington. Moscow is currently reviewing the latest revisions.
As reported by Fox News Digital Tuesday, Ukraine agreed to a peace deal that would see an end to the war with Russia, a U.S. official said,
Some minor details of the agreement are still to be sorted out, the official said.
However, overnight, Russia launched a large drone-and-missile strike on Kyiv, killing at least seven people and damaging power infrastructure.
Despite the continuing violence, U.S. diplomats describe the negotiations as the “closest they have been” to a potential agreement since the war began.
ZELENSKYY WARNS UKRAINE FACES ‘DIFFICULT CHOICE’ AS US PEACE PLAN HITS MAJOR HURDLE
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron said Tuesday that France and its EU partners were close to finalizing a plan to support Ukraine and to secure a peace that is “serious” and rooted in international law.
After a virtual meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, Macron also said that “all the countries around the table want peace, but they want a peace that is just and lasting.”
He addressed territorial and security issues while hoping to prevent future aggression and warned that renewed Russian strikes on civilian and energy infrastructure show that “on the ground, the reality is the exact opposite of any genuine desire for peace.”
Macron outlined the coalition’s priorities, including increased sanctions on Russia to pile on pressure so that “it agrees to negotiate.”

“This includes our sanctions, the U.S. sanctions coming into force, and our actions against the “shadow fleet” involved in illicit oil shipments worldwide,” Macron said.
He also highlighted two key initiatives: finalizing an EU solution for frozen Russian assets and establishing long-term security guarantees to ensure any ceasefire is enforceable and durable.

“We all support the pursuit of a peace plan, so this work must continue, and we are coordinating closely with the United States to move forward on a framework that could be acceptable,” he added.
Concluding, Macron stated, “The next few days will allow us to finalize in very concrete terms and to complete these security guarantees. This is essential for Ukraine, essential for negotiating a credible peace, and also essential to maintain pressure on Russia.”
