Quadruple killer throws tantrum over prison bananas as expert warns of control game
Convicted killer Bryan Kohberger was recently accused of throwing a tantrum over the fruit selection at a maximum-security Idaho prison where he is serving multiple life sentences for the murders of four University of Idaho students in 2022.
The 31-year-old, housed at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution, has reportedly been “complaining about the type of bananas he’s being served,” according to Chris McDonough, a retired homicide detective employed by the Cold Case Foundation.
“They’re not the kind that he likes,” McDonough told the Daily Mail. “I’m not sure if that means they may have bruises on them, and he doesn’t like that or if there is a particular type of banana that he likes. But he’s complaining about the food he’s getting.”
The Idaho Department of Corrections did not immediately confirm to Fox News Digital which variety of bananas were distributed by the prison or whether there was a particular condition or variety Kohberger requested.
BRYAN KOHBERGER’S APARTMENT, ESSAYS REVEALED IN HUNDREDS OF PHOTOS RELEASED BY IDAHO POLICE
“You can’t make this stuff up, right?” McDonough said. “The guy is a quadruple killer, and he’s complaining about his bananas not being the type that he likes.”
Kohberger, who has been nicknamed a “jailhouse Karen,” filed numerous complaints about his living conditions months after arriving at the prison.
According to media reports, Kohberger complained about being threatened and harassed by fellow inmates, filed a complaint about not getting all of his food at meal time and asked to be relocated to another wing of the prison.

“The prison is saying, ‘Well, deal with it,’” McDonough said.
Cameron Lindsay, a prison consultant, previously told Fox News Digital the former criminology Ph.D. student didn’t have “a lick of sense,” making his time behind bars more difficult with every gripe.
“If he had a lick of sense, he’d keep his mouth shut, his head down, and maybe, over time, his welcoming committee will lessen their verbal tirades against him,” Lindsay said.
KOHBERGER’S LAWYERS SAY VICTIMS’ FAMILIES GOT ENOUGH MONEY FROM GOFUNDME DONATIONS ALREADY
McDonough told the outlet the killer’s narcissistic tendencies will likely prompt him to keep “pushing the envelope and pushing the boundaries as far as he can get them.”
“It’s about power and control,” McDonough said. “He was a nobody until he murdered four people. … He was irrelevant to the world. Now he’s Bryan Kohberger, who has slaughtered four people. And because he didn’t have to stand up in court and tell the world how brutal these crimes were, he holds the cards. And he’s trying to leverage that.”

During the trial, Kohberger abruptly pleaded guilty to the murders of Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, dodging the death penalty.
Kohberger’s attorney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Sheriff fumes as illegal immigrant with 4 DUIs smirking after nurse’s spine injury
An Ohio sheriff slammed fellow law enforcement agencies for previously releasing an illegal immigrant with an extensive criminal history, after he allegedly crashed into an Ohio nurse while driving drunk, leaving her seriously injured.
Johen Perez-Ventura, 27, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, is charged with aggravated vehicular assault, driving without a license and obstruction of justice, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones.
Courtney Steinmetz, a nurse and volunteer cheerleading coach, was driving along Route 747 on Nov. 20, when she was allegedly hit head-on by Perez-Ventura in Liberty Township, Ohio.
ICE SAYS SUSPECT ACCUSED OF KILLING TEEN IN SECOND DRUNK DRIVING INCIDENT WAS IN US ILLEGALLY
Perez-Ventura was first captured crossing the Texas border in 2019, and deported back to Guatemala, according to Jones.
He returned to the U.S. at some point, and in 2023, was charged with assault in Cincinnati.
That same year, he was arrested and charged with drunk driving in Westchester, Jones said. Perez-Ventura was released after both arrests.
However, Perez-Ventura’s criminal history didn’t end there. In 2024, he was arrested twice for drunk driving, and released again.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT DODGES DEPORTATION FOR DECADE BEFORE ALLEGEDLY KILLING MAN IN DUI HIT-AND-RUN
“This low-life piece of s— named Johen, who has been arrested [four times] for DUIs … he had alcohol in the car, had to be cut out of the car, [went] to the hospital,” Jones said in a video post to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. “You know who pays for that. We do. … It’s not his first time. … He’s used to this. He was just going to be in the wind. … Not this time. We waited and then [Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)] made the apprehension.”
Jones said Perez-Ventura did not have a driver’s license, speculating he may have shown fake IDs to officers at other agencies, and they let him go anyway.
“That’s appalling in itself,” the sheriff said. “They probably didn’t want to send him to my jail because he would be deported. He [had] already been incarcerated at that point for DUI, assault, and he’d come across the border twice.”
PREVIOUSLY DEPORTED BLUE STATE DRIVER CHARGED WITH MURDERING SIX PEOPLE IN CRASH: REPORT
Perez-Ventura, using an interpreter, claimed he was not the driver because he was on probation for one of his prior offenses.
After the crash, Jones visited Steinmetz in the hospital and said he could tell she was in “serious pain,” having suffered a spine injury, broken wrist and broken ankle.
“She’s 27, living her dream, working at the hospital as an RN, saving people’s lives. Now today, she’s lying in the hospital,” he said. “She’s not even out of the bed yet. She’s going to be out of work for quite some time. She’ll probably have issues the rest of her life with her spine.”
BIDEN IMMIGRATION POLICIES UNDER FIRE AFTER ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT WITH PRIOR DUIS CHARGED IN 14-YEAR-OLD’S DEATH
A GoFundMe was set up for Steinmetz, to help with medical bills, lost wages and her insurance deductible — since Perez-Ventura did not have insurance.
A family member wrote on the crowdfunding site that despite her injuries, Steinmetz still “hopes the opposing driver is doing OK despite the pain this has caused.”
“He doesn’t care. You look at his mug shot, he has a smirk on his face,” Jones said. “I promise you, he won’t be deported again … He’s going to get a little taste of American prison. … He’ll get a cell until he goes to prison, then he can get deported when he’s a lot older. … This low-life is lying in my jail, getting three meals a day, whining and crying. [He] probably doesn’t like the conditions, which they’re a whole lot better than he deserves.”

Jones added he will pursue additional charges against Perez-Ventura related to the crash, and investigate the businesses who allegedly sold him the alcohol, people he was drinking with, and people who sold or loaned him cars.
“I have no sympathy,” Jones said. “If he had been deported and stayed deported the first time, we wouldn’t be going through this.”
Nearly half a dozen illegal immigrants, with charges ranging from sex crimes and assault to DUI and drugs offenses, have recently been arrested in Butler County, according to the sheriff.
Airbus orders immediate recall for A320-family aircraft across major airlines
Airbus on Friday ordered immediate repairs across thousands of its A320-family aircraft, affecting major carriers including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines.
The order affects roughly 6,000 jets, making it one of the largest recalls in the European aerospace giant’s history. The directive also comes amid the busiest travel weekend of the year in the U.S., according to Reuters.
“Analysis of a recent event involving an A320 Family aircraft has revealed that intense solar radiation may corrupt data critical to the functioning of flight controls,” Airbus said in a statement. “Airbus has consequently identified a significant number of A320 Family aircraft currently in-service which may be impacted.”
The recall was triggered by an Oct. 30 JetBlue flight traveling from Cancun to New Jersey that was forced to divert to Tampa after a sudden drop in altitude left several passengers injured, according to Reuters.
THANKSGIVING TRAVEL: TIPS FOR FLIGHTS AND ROAD TRIPS
The repair primarily involves reverting aircraft to an earlier software version, and the update must be completed before the planes are allowed to fly, Reuters reported.
American Airlines said about 340 of its 480 A320-family jets will require the update and expects the majority of the work to be completed by “today or tomorrow.”
The process takes roughly two hours per plane, according to the airline.
“Though we expect some delays as we accomplish these updates, we are intently focused on limiting cancellations — especially with customers returning home from holiday travel,” American said in a statement.
THANKSGIVING GAS PRICES FALL TO LOWEST LEVELS SINCE PANDEMIC, WITH NEARLY 30 STATES BELOW $3 A GALLON
Delta Air Lines said fewer than 50 A321neo aircraft in its fleet are affected and expects all updates to be completed by Saturday morning.
“As safety comes before everything else, Delta will fully comply with a directive and expects any resulting operational impact to be limited,” Delta said in a statement.
United told FOX Business in an email that six aircraft in its fleet are affected.
“We expect minor disruption to a few flights,” a United spokesperson said.
American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue and United Airlines are four of the world’s 10 largest operators of Airbus A320-family aircraft, according to Reuters.
MILLIONS DITCH AIRPORTS FOR OPEN ROADS AS RV TRAVEL SURGES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Other major carriers — including Lufthansa in Germany, IndiGo in India, and U.K.-based easyJet — said they would briefly take affected aircraft out of service to complete the repairs, Reuters reported.
The recall also prompted Colombian carrier Avianca to suspend ticket sales for travel through December 8, as more than 70% of its fleet is impacted, according to Reuters.

Bears make history with rushing attack as Eagles’ home crowd turns hostile
The panic meter is high in Philadelphia.
The Eagles lost their second straight, this one a 24-15 defeat to the Chicago Bears in a battle of 8-3 squads in front of a frustrated home crowd.
The end of each Eagles’ drive in the first half ended with loud boos from the crowd. The Birds had 83 yards of offense in the first 30 minutes, while former Eagle D’Andre Swift alone had 88 yards rushing and a 13-yard catch.
The Bears had 232 yards of offense prior to halftime.

The start of the second half wasn’t much different, as Philly went three and out. On the next, Jalen Hurts threw an interception. Something clicked in the third, though, when the Eagles needed just five plays to go 92 yards, with the final 33 gained on an A.J. Brown touchdown. However, the Eagles missed the extra point, and Chicago held a 10-9 lead.
The momentum was in the Eagles’ hands as Caleb Williams threw an interception at the line of scrimmage, but the Bears responded by forcing and recovering a fumble on a tush push. The Bears continued to run the ball down the Eagles’ throats, and this time it was seventh-round rookie Kyle Monangai who scampered all over the field and found the end zone to make it a 17-9 Chicago lead.

It was another three and out for the Eagles, and the Bears continued to be unstoppable. The icing on the cake was a 28-yard touchdown pass to Cole Kmet. The Eagles responded with another touchdown from Brown, but, down nine, they went for two and were unsuccessful, leaving it a two-possession game and all but ending the game.
It was the first time since 1985 the Bears had two running backs rush for 100-plus yards in the same game. In all, they had 281 rushing yards to the Eagles’ 87 and twice as many first downs (28-14).

Xander Schauffele gets handed embarrassing check after prestigious tournament’s comeback
The Skins Game returned Friday for the first time since 2008, and while there were big winners, there was one major loser.
Last held in 2008, the event featured four players from September’s Ryder Cup: Keegan Bradley and Xander Schauffele from the United States, and Team Europe’s Tommy Fleetwood and Shane Lowry, the latter of whom clinched retention of the cup on the 18th hole at Bethpage Black.
Bradley was the big winner of the day, taking home $2.1 million, $900,000 of which coming on a birdie on the par-3 12th at Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. That had been the largest prize ever in the Skins Game until Fleetwood racked up $1.25 million three holes later.

Bradley won 11 skins total, nine of them on two holes, while Fleetwood brought home $1.7 million in all. Lowry’s winnings were significantly lower at $200,000, but Schauffele is going home empty-handed.
After the match, each of the golfers was awarded big checks for their winnings. Despite not winning a penny, Schauffele was not left out.
TRUMP SAYS BIDEN ‘DOESN’T WANT TO SHOW UP’ TO GOLF MATCH, TAKES JAB AT FORMER PRESIDENT’S GAME
The two-time major champion’s check read “zero dollars.” But he remained a good sport.
“This is actually the first check I’ve ever gotten,” Schauffele said. “I’m gonna frame this in the living room.
“That’s motivation. Probably the last Skins Game I ever play, to be honest.”
Players started with $1 million. They had money deducted whenever someone else won a skin.

Trump cancels Biden’s autopen orders, threatens perjury for ‘illegal’ signatures
President Donald Trump announced on Friday he is terminating all documents allegedly signed by former President Joe Biden with the autopen.
In a Truth Social post, Trump claimed 92% of documents signed during Biden’s presidency were done so with the device.
“The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States,” Trump wrote. “The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him.”
Trump said he is canceling all executive orders and “anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally.”
TRUMP TO VOID ALL DOCUMENTS ALLEGEDLY SIGNED BY BIDEN VIA AUTOPEN, THREATENS PERJURY CHARGE
The autopen device, which holds a real pen and signs paper using a handwriting template, automatically reproduces a person’s signature with high accuracy.
The U.S. government has used autopens since the Truman administration, and the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel previously confirmed use of the device is legal for presidential signatures on legislation and executive acts, so long as it is authorized by the president.
However, Trump claimed Biden did not approve the signatures, and threatened to charge him with perjury if he says he was involved in the autopen process.
TRUMP RENEWS ATTACKS ON BIDEN AUTOPEN PARDONS, CLAIMS HE ‘NEVER GAVE THE ORDERS’
During Biden’s presidency, he signed 162 executive orders, in addition to hundreds of memoranda, proclamations and notices.
Though Trump signed an executive order in January rescinding nearly 80 Biden-era executive orders, some of those that appear to remain in full force, and may now be subject to cancelation, include: Executive Order 14087, which lowers prescription drug costs in the U.S.; Executive Order 14096, which centers around environmental justice; and Executive Order 14110, which cracks down on the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI).

It is unclear who will validate the signatures on documents allegedly signed by Biden.
‘My teeth were falling out’: Jenny McCarthy reveals year-long health nightmare
This year, Jenny McCarthy is thankful for good health – something she’s struggled with in 2025.
The actress has spent the past year dealing with her teeth falling out, multiple surgeries and “growths” on her eyeballs.
“My teeth were falling out, implants falling out,” she told People of the beginning of her ordeal. “They finally had to dig into my jawbone and chipped away, and found I had a deep bone infection. I’ve been on antibiotics for a year, and have had to eat soft foods only.”

She added, “I’ve had nine surgeries this year, on my mouth, I had one infection that turned into another and another, and then I had these growths show up on my eyeballs.”
The issues were originally caused, she explained, by a ceramic dental implant.
“As of now, I’m able to chew again,” McCarthy said, “but every time we thought it had cleared up, it came back again, I’d be in massive pain with my jaw swelling up, and at the same time I was getting these growths popping up on my eyeballs.”
She added, “People should actually feel a little sorry for me!”
The “Masked Singer” judge also told People, who she spoke with ahead of Thanksgiving, that she was looking forward to being able to eat solid food for the holiday.
“I think I’m past the storm,” she said. “I’m about to chow down!”
Her plans were to spend the day with husband Donnie Wahlberg – she admitted that “it’s been a little tricky-wicky getting together” because of their busy schedules.

McCarthy and Wahlberg have been married for 11 years, and last month, the “Blue Bloods” actor told Fox News Digital about one of the ways they keep their relationship going strong.
“Well, we’ve both been divorced before, so we did a lot of individual therapy and when we got together we decided, let’s do some together, sort of preemptive, because no matter what, every new relationship brings on new challenges, and sometimes we don’t even know what activates us, what causes us to react to certain things and brings out vulnerabilities in us,” said Wahlberg.
“But intimate new relationships are usually where they surface,” he continued. “Some of us are really good at working in a work environment or with friends. We can give advice, and we can handle things, but sometimes you get into a romantic relationship and suddenly things bother you that don’t bother you in other parts of your life. And it’s because it’s the most vulnerable relationship you’re going to be in, and that’s where those vulnerabilities pop up.”
McCarthy and Wahlberg began dating in July 2013 and tied the knot in August 2014. Wahlberg has two sons from his previous marriage to Kimberly Fey, and McCarthy has one son, Evan, from an earlier marriage to John Asher.
