Trump drops surprise line on Elon Musk after ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ blowup
President Donald Trump said Tuesday he still likes “Elon a lot,” despite their high-profile split earlier this year over the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
At the end of the administration’s monthly Cabinet meeting, FOX Business’ Edward Lawrence asked Trump whether Musk was “back in [his] circle of friends” after their falling-out.
Trump responded:Well, I really don’t know. I mean, I like Elon a lot.” He praised Musk’s endorsement during the 2024 campaign before noting their disagreement over electric-vehicle policy.
Musk was a fixture in the White House in the early days of the second Trump administration as he took on the role as the Department of Government Efficiency’s de facto leader. He served as a special government employee with the Trump administration to help lead DOGE, frequently attending Cabinet meetings and joining Trump during public events. Musk’s tenure with DOGE wrapped up at the end of May.

Musk had also championed Trump during the 2024 election cycle, criss-crossing battleground states that ultimately all voted for the Republican candidate over former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump repeatedly celebrated Musk for his efforts at DOGE to remove potential federal overspending, fraud and mismanagement – an effort assailed by government employees and Democrats who protested both the Trump administration and Musk repeatedly earlier this year.

The cozy friendship fell to pieces in June, however, when Musk began publicly ridiculing the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which was a massive piece of legislation Trump signed into law in July that advances his agenda on taxes, immigration, energy, defense and the national debt.
Musk railed against the legislation, which Trump had been rallying Republican lawmakers to pass since the beginning of his second term, posting on X that it would be the “BIGGEST DEBT ceiling increase in HISTORY” and also claimed in a personal attack on Trump that “@RealDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files.”
Trump previously told the media that his relationship with Musk changed when he began discussing plans to eliminate the electric vehicle mandate, which would affect Musk’s signature electric company, Tesla. Trump signed a trio of congressional resolutions in June ending California’s restrictive rules for diesel engines and mandates on electric vehicle sales, with Trump celebrating that his signature “will kill the California mandates forever.”

The pair abruptly parted ways in June, with Musk weeks later offering some support to Trump’s presidential actions on social media, such as praising a ceasefire deal between Israel and Gaza in July.
Musk was seen physically back in Trump’s orbit in September during the memorial service for Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA’s founder who was assassinated on Sept. 10. The pair was seen sitting next to each other and chatting during the ceremony.

Musk most recently attended a Trump event on Nov. 18 at the White House for a dinner with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, as well as dozens of high-profile business leaders.
Trump’s latest remarks on Musk unfolded during his Cabinet meeting, which marked his ninth such meeting since the start of his second administration and matched the total number of full Cabinet meetings former President Joe Biden held across his four-year tenure.
Repeat offender accused of brutal kidnapping, sexual assault after avoiding prison time
A Minnesota man with two previous sex crime convictions is reportedly accused of kidnapping and raping a woman at a hotel while on probation.
Abdimahat Bille Mohamed, 28, allegedly used Snapchat to pick up a woman at her home in Mankato in September, and drove her to a hotel in nearby Bloomington, according to FOX 9.
After the victim entered Mohamed’s car, he allegedly told her, “You’re not going home,” the outlet reported. The woman reportedly told investigators that when she tried to escape, Mohamed took her phone, telling her, “You’re not leaving.”
Mohamed then allegedly spent several days holding the woman against her will while sexually assaulting her, prosecutors said.

On Sept. 21, nearly a week after her kidnapping, the victim jumped out of Mohamed’s vehicle on Aldrich Avenue South, where a resident noticed a “very distraught and shaken up” woman and subsequently called the police.
The incident occurred less than four months after Mohamed was sentenced in two unrelated sexual assault cases, including one involving a 15-year-old girl, FOX 9 reported.
In May 2024, Mohamed was reportedly arrested after he lured a woman to his Minneapolis apartment using Snapchat and raped her, according to prosecutors.

Prosecutors added Mohamed threatened to shoot the victim, who told a paramedic that she had been strangled and raped, if she refused to have sex with him.
Court records also indicated that during the incident, a witness heard arguing and entered the bedroom to find Mohamed on top of the victim. Mohamed then allegedly threatened to kill the witness.
Less than a year earlier, in October 2024, Mohamed was slapped with charges from yet another rape, according to FOX 9.

Authorities reportedly revealed that in December 2017, Mohamed met a 15-year-old girl on Snapchat and picked her up in St. Paul, before driving her to Minneapolis. When the pair arrived, two men reportedly entered the vehicle and held the victim at gunpoint while forcing her to perform oral sex on one individual. Mohamed then got into the back seat of the car and proceeded to rape the underage victim, according to court documents.
In May, Mohamed received sentences for both rape cases, but served no prison time due to the terms of a plea agreement, FOX 9 reported.
He reportedly received a sentence of three years in prison for the 2017 sexual assault case involving a minor, but the sentence was stayed for five years and he did not serve any time in prison.
Additionally, he was sentenced to 364 days in the Hennepin County workhouse, but ultimately received credit for time served. He was also sentenced to five years of probation.

In the 2024 sexual assault case, a Hennepin County judge sentenced Mohamed to 14 months in prison, which was also stayed. He was also sentenced to a day of probation and another 364 days in the local workhouse, for which he received credit for time served.
Mohamed is charged with felony third degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping and criminal sexual conduct, according to jail records obtained by Fox News Digital. He is being held in the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility on $300,000 bond.
The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Bitter rivals unite around ‘once-in-a-generation’ policy from Trump admin: ‘Transformative’
Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Cory Booker, D-N.J., urged leaders of Fortune 1000 companies in a letter Tuesday to support the newly created federal savings program known as “Trump Accounts,” a tax-advantaged investment account established for newborn American children.
The program, created by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and signed into law by President Donald Trump July 4, provides every child born between Jan. 1, 2025 and Dec. 31, 2028, a one-time $1,000 government deposit at birth. Families can open an account once the child has a Social Security number, and funds cannot be withdrawn until the child turns 18.
“These accounts will launch a once-in-a-generation expansion of economic opportunity and prosperity for every American child, helping millions of families realize the American dream through homeownership, education, or entrepreneurship,” the senators wrote.

The senators also emphasized the long-term financial benefits.

“We believe these accounts — much like 401(k)s — represent a transformative tool for building long-term financial security, expanding economic prosperity, and fundamentally restoring confidence in American capitalism.”
The letter also urged businesses to join the effort.
“Many companies have already pledged support, and we encourage your company to explore how you might contribute at a level aligned with your mission and capacity. By matching contributions for employees’ families, investing in the communities where you operate, or integrating these accounts into your philanthropic strategy, you can significantly enhance the impact of this historic initiative.”
The bipartisan call comes on the heels of a $6.25 billion investment from Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell Technologies, and his wife, Susan.

The two joined Trump at the White House to share additional details about their pledge, which is the program’s first major infusion of private funding.
“These investment accounts are simple, secure and structured to grow in value through market returns over time. It’s a simple yet very powerful idea,” the couple said in a statement.
Trump called the investment from the Dell family an “amazing” and “generous act” and said he would also make a donation to the federal savings program.

The Treasury Department estimates that the Trump accounts could accumulate into a seven-figure balance by early adulthood if families maximize their contributions.
A fully funded account could reach as much as $1.9 million by age 28, according to the Treasury’s Office of Tax Analysis. Even at the lower end of projected returns, the savings account could still yield nearly $600,000 over the same period.
Even without additional contributions beyond the federal government’s initial $1,000 deposit, Treasury estimates the account could grow to between $3,000 and $13,800 over 18 years.
Coach who left Ole Miss for Lane Kiffin’s staff at LSU sees wild turn of events
Lane Kiffin was not able to finish his season with Ole Miss, but someone who left Oxford for Baton Rogue alongside him will.
New LSU offense coordinator Charlie Weis Jr., who flew to Louisiana with Kiffin on Sunday, will hold his post at Ole Miss through the College Football Playoff.
Ole Miss announced their coaching staff on Tuesday, and Kiffin provided a statement, stating that the CFP rankings played a role in him allowing Weis to stay with the Rebels for a few more weeks.

Trump targets Minnesota Somali community as enforcement rumors swirl
President Donald Trump called a bloc of Somali migrants to Minnesota “garbage” who rely too heavily on the U.S. welfare state, as ICE reportedly eyes ramped-up immigration enforcement in the Twin Cities.
Speaking at his ninth Cabinet meeting of 2025 on Tuesday, Trump said that Somalis have made a mess of Minneapolis-St. Paul, and characterized Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., as their political figurehead.
His comments come as a New York Times report claimed ICE is prepared to launch an “intensive immigration enforcement operation” targeting the Twin Cities. The paper claimed it would target the Somali population, but a top DHS official told Fox News Digital the agency never prosecutes based on race – only immigration status.

Paul Anka is weighing in on the rumor about Frank Sinatra that’s been swinging around Hollywood for decades.
The singer, 84, who penned the English lyrics to Sinatra’s iconic “My Way,” is the focus of a new HBO Max documentary, “Paul Anka: His Way.” While promoting the film — a deep dive into his life and decades-spanning career — the Canadian singer-songwriter was confronted with the notorious question: just how “big” was his late friend’s legend?
“Yeah, it was huge,” Anka told Page Six when asked about rumors that Sinatra was well-endowed.

The “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” crooner isn’t the first to address the topic. Vanity Fair previously reported that Sinatra’s second wife, actress Ava Gardner, once remarked that she stayed with the 119-pound entertainer for very personal reasons. While the marriage lasted from 1951 to 1957, the rumor persisted in Hollywood over the years.
Anka and Sinatra’s lives, however, were connected in a far more meaningful way.
At age 24, while vacationing in France, Anka heard a French song called “Comme d’habitude.” The “Puppy Love” singer quickly bought the rights, kept the melody, and rewrote the lyrics with Sinatra in mind, NPR reported.
In 1968, the “Chairman of the Board” himself recorded the song. “My Way” revitalized Sinatra’s career and became a pop culture phenomenon. NPR reported that “My Way” is the most played song at funerals and has been covered by many other artists, including Elvis Presley and Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols.

“Sinatra was quitting show business, and I felt really wrong about it — to the point where I had to sit down and write,” Anka recalled to Fox News Digital in 2021. “It was going to be the last album he was going to do.”
Anka said he vividly remembers hearing Sinatra sing “My Way” for the first time.
“I was in my apartment in New York,” he said. “He was in a studio in Los Angeles with my producer, Don Costa — I had introduced Sinatra to Don. He said, ‘Kid, listen to this.’ He put the phone next to the speaker and said, ‘Listen.’ I heard the song for the first time over the phone, from L.A. to New York.”
“And I started crying,” he continued. “I felt the difference. I heard the difference because during my low period in the ’60s, I was still doing my thing but hadn’t written anything like that. I just started crying — happy tears — thinking, ‘Wow, this is something. This is going to change my life.’ It changed both our lives, in a sense. I was very moved.”
Anka added that he still gets a thrill from hearing other artists record the song.
“It never gets dull,” he said. “I think Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols moved me when he did ‘My Way.’”

Anka has continued performing over the years. He told Fox News Digital that one of his goals is to help keep Sinatra’s legacy alive through song.
“I’m a huge fan — always was,” he explained. “And I love him as a person. He was really good to me. I do Sinatra stuff to keep the songbook alive. It’s like what attracted me to Michael Bublé when I first heard him. He’s keeping it alive, and I’m proud of him. But what I do whenever I can is keep that core and that foundation of what our music was founded on. We should never forget.”
“And that demographic I perform for now includes the TikTok crowd, which I hope to entertain with those songs,” Anka continued.
“They need to hear those songs — and they need to remember Frank Sinatra,” he said. “A lot of places I go, people don’t remember Johnny Carson or know who Sammy Davis Jr. was, and that’s scary. So I said, ‘OK, this tour will be a little bit of Frank, a little bit of what I do, something from the new album — and then everybody gets educated in a small way.’”
Anka said he’s enjoyed the renewed attention for his 1959 hit “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” which went viral on TikTok in 2021. And these days, he’s focused on what’s ahead.

A coming change could deliver long-awaited relief for millions of Americans
Oil and gasoline prices are expected to decline next year, according to the latest forecast from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The EIA published its November Short-Term Energy Outlook last month, which projected that the price of Brent crude oil will decline from $69 a barrel in 2025 to $55 a barrel next year. That would be well below the $81 per barrel that prevailed in 2024.
Gas prices are also projected to continue their decline into next year. Retail gas prices averaged $3.30 a gallon in 2024 and are at $3.10 a gallon this year, but are projected to decline further to $3 a gallon in 2026, according to the EIA’s report.
U.S. production of crude oil picked up this year and is expected to remain at the level in 2026, with the EIA finding the U.S. produced 13.2 million barrels per day in 2024. The agency projected crude oil production will be 13.6 million barrels per day this year – the same as in 2026.
GAS PRICES DROP BELOW $3 NATIONWIDE AS TRUMP SAYS $2 GAS WITHIN REACH
Natural gas prices are expected to continue to rise after a notable increase this year. The natural gas price at Henry Hub was $2.20 per million British thermal units (BTUs) in 2024 and rose to $3.50 this year, while the EIA forecasts its rise will continue to $4 in 2026.
In recent years, the U.S. has become the world’s largest exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG), holding the top position in 2023 and 2024, and export levels have continued to rise.
EIA noted that the U.S. exported 12 billion cubic feet per day of LNG last year, with that figure rising to 15 billion cubic feet per day in 2025 and 16 billion cubic feet per day next year.
OIL AND GAS DEMAND COULD GROW UNTIL 2050, IEA SAYS
The EIA’s report also broke down the share of electricity generation by source across the U.S., which showed natural gas as the largest source with a 40% share in 2025 and 2026, down slightly from 42% a year ago.
The share of electricity generated by renewables – a category which includes hydropower, solar, wind, geothermal and biomass – accounted for 23% in 2024 and has been on an upward trend, with EIA putting its 2025 share at 24% and forecasting a rise to 26% next year.

Nuclear power’s share of the power mix decreased slightly from 19% to 18% from 2024 to 2025, while it’s expected to hold steady at 18% next year.
Coal’s share of total electricity generation has also been relatively flat, with EIA reporting it was at 16% last year, 17% in 2025, and projecting a return to 16% next year.

The report also touched on emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), which rose slightly from 4.8 billion metric tons in 2024 to 4.9 billion metric tons this year. EIA forecasts it will return to 4.8 billion metric tons next year.

Pastor announces gender transition and asexual identity to congregation
A Methodist pastor in New York revealed last week plans to transition into a woman and said the 51-year-old now identifies as asexual.
Rev. Phillip Phaneuf, of North Chili United Methodist Church in Rochester, made the announcement during a Nov. 23 Sunday service. The personal update was delivered from the pulpit while wearing a rainbow stole.
“So I get to announce with joy that I’m transitioning,” Phaneuf said. “I’m affirming to all of you that I am transgender. The best way to put this is that I’m not becoming a woman, I’m giving up pretending to be a man. This is a process, and it may be shocking for some as to what this all means.”
Phaneuf added that the pastor’s sexuality is now asexual, an orientation in which a person experiences little or no sexual attraction to others.

“I’m in the category of what they call asexual,” Phaneuf said. “I’ve been that way since we’ve all been together, in that I am not living my life in a way that involves looking for romance.”
Phaneuf said the name will be changed to Phillippa, and the preferred pronouns are she/her. Hormone replacement therapy has been underway for the past three months, Phaneuf confirmed, and changes to appearance, voice and hair are expected.

The pastor said the bishop, church and theology support the transition, noting that the bishop was consulted before the announcement and that any pastoral duties at the church will not be affected. “What will stay the same is my deepening love for all of you,” Phaneuf said.
The 51-year-old’s parents, however, do not support the decision. “They asked me to tell you all that they do not support me,” Phaneuf announced during the sermon. “They asked me to tell you this.”

Last year, the United Methodist Church reversed rules that condemned LGBTQ+ identities in the community, according to its official website. The UMC now affirms human sexuality “as a sacred gift” and says this “applies to all persons, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity,” according to its official website.
“The United Methodist Church commits to befriending and caring for all persons, including LGBTQ persons in our churches and communities,” it said.
