Athlete with permanent brain damage fires back at trans comedian who mocked her
Transgender comedian Stacy Cay incited backlash on social media Friday after making a joke about former high school volleyball player Payton McNabb’s brain injury.
Cay’s joke made light of the fact McNabb suffered a concussion, brain bleed and permanent whiplash after being spiked in the head by a biological male trans athlete during a North Carolina high school match in 2022. Cay called footage of the incident “pretty funny.”
“They don’t ever want to show the clip of what happened because it’s pretty funny actually,” Cay said.
“She gets hit right in the head and then falls over like a toddler. And I’m like ‘Oh, she was really like this before.’ I don’t know if there’s a nice way to say this, but she should have been waring a helmet. She shouldn’t have been out there with the normal people.”

McNabb provided a statement to Fox News Digital in response to Cay’s comments.
“A grown man mocking a teenage girl’s traumatic brain injury isn’t comedy — it’s cruelty. My story isn’t a punchline. It’s a warning about what happens when adults ignore reality and girls pay the price. I suffer from something that changed my life forever. Your jokes won’t silence me; they only prove why this fight matters,” McNabb said.
Cay’s joke incited backlash from other Save Women’s Sports activists, including Riley Gaines and XX-XY Athletics co-founder Jennifer Sey.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested a Somali illegal immigrant convicted of fraud and connected to several high-profile Minnesota politicians, including Gov. Tim Walz, the former Democratic vice presidential nominee.
The illegal alien, Abdul Dahir Ibrahim of Somalia, has had a deportation order against him since 2004 and courts have rejected all of his appeals.
Ibrahim has a criminal history that includes convictions in Canada for asylum and welfare fraud before he entered the United States, according to a Department of Justice document reviewed by Fox News Digital.

On Jan. 23, 2002, Ibrahim was also convicted in Dakota County District Court for providing false information to police and driving without a valid license. He was fined and sentenced to a year of probation. Ibrahim has also been issued 12 traffic or parking citations in the U.S.
Ibrahim is unmarried but at one point claimed his sister was his wife and her children were theirs, a claim later found to be fictitious, according to the document.
According to ICE, Ibrahim entered the United States in 1995 in New York after his deportation from Canada.
On April 3, 2004, an immigration judge ordered Ibrahim removed. In the decision, the judge highlighted the significant amount of fraud associated with him. His appeals were denied, and, in 2006, a circuit court upheld the immigration court’s decision.
Despite this, Ibrahim was granted temporary protective status (TPS) for approximately 10 years. He has a pending TPS application that has still not been adjudicated since 2023.
Ibrahim has been photographed with several high-profile politicians in Minnesota, including Walz; Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.; Minneapolis Democratic City Council Member Jamal Osman; and state Sen. Omar Fateh, who was unsuccessful in his recent Minneapolis mayoral race.
Ibrahim has been photographed with Walz at least twice.
Osman and Fateh both wrote letters of recommendation on behalf of Ibrahim during his immigration proceedings.

Last month, Trump cited fraud as driving his decision to terminate the temporary protected status designation for thousands of Somali migrants living in Minnesota, saying in a Truth Social post they should “go back to where they came from.”

Walz, who ran against Trump in 2024 as former Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, has criticized Trump’s rhetoric regarding the Somali community in Minnesota, saying that “Donald Trump’s hateful words don’t stand in Minnesota” and “demonizing an entire group of people just by their race and their ethnicity … is something I was hoping we’d never have to see.”

He called the Somali community in Minnesota a “group of people who contribute to the vitality, economic culture of this state.”

EXCLUSIVE: The Coast Guard cutter Munro seized more than 20,000 pounds of cocaine in a single drug interdiction mission Tuesday, the largest seizure a national security cutter had completed involving a go-fast vessel.
New video footage shared with Fox News Digital depicts Coast Guard forces, including a sniper from the service’s Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron (HITRON) based in Jacksonville, Florida, utilizing disabling fire against a go-fast vessel as it completes a drug interdiction mission for Operation Pacific Viper.
The amount of cocaine seized in the mission, which occurred in the Eastern Pacific south of Mexico, amounts to more than 7.5 million potentially lethal doses, according to the service.
Operation Pacific Viper launched in August and is a combined initiative between the Coast Guard and Navy that seeks to counter the flow of illegal drugs to the U.S. in alignment with President Donald Trump’s broader effort to crack down on drug cartels in Latin America.

As of October, the Coast Guard reported it had snatched 100,000 pounds of cocaine in the eastern Pacific Ocean under Operation Pacific Viper. That translates to roughly 1,600 pounds of cocaine nabbed daily, according to the service.
The Coast Guard’s Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron snipers are used in missions to disable vessels carrying illicit drugs by targeting and shooting at their engines with rifles to cripple them. Disabling potential drug vessels paves the way for other Coast Guard assets to board and capture drugs stowed away on the boats.
Go-fast vessels are common vessels employed to ferry drugs in the Caribbean.

The Coast Guard reported in November it had seized almost 510,000 pounds of cocaine in fiscal year 2025, the largest amount of the drug snatched in the service’s history.
The amount the service seized translates to 193 million potentially lethal doses, enough to jeopardize more than half of the U.S. population, according to the Coast Guard. Additionally, it amounts to more than three times the service’s annual average, which comes out to roughly 167,000 pounds of cocaine each year.
The Trump administration has adopted a hard-line approach to dealing with drugs coming into the United States and designated drug cartel groups like Tren de Aragua, Sinaloa and others as foreign terrorist organizations in February.

Separate from Operation Pacific Viper, the Trump administration also has conducted at least 22 strikes against alleged drug vessels in Latin American waters since September.
While lawmakers have questioned the legality of the strikes — particularly after the White House revealed that a second strike was conducted against a vessel after the first one left survivors in September — the Trump administration has stated it has the authority to conduct those attacks.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Sens. Tim Kaine, D-Va.; Adam Schiff, D-Calif.; and Rand Paul, R-Ky., introduced a war powers resolution Wednesday to bar Trump from using U.S. armed forces to engage in hostilities within or against Venezuela.
Meanwhile, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has indicated that the strikes will continue.
“We’ve only just begun striking narco-boats and putting narco-terrorists at the bottom of the ocean because they’ve been poisoning the American people,” Hegseth said Tuesday.
Democrats draft bill that would ‘end’ immigration enforcement, critics warn
After more than 120 House Democrats signed onto a bill from a top progressive lawmaker to seek what they define as “dignity” for federal immigration detainees, critics sounded the alarm that the legislation could forever transform how illegal immigrants are treated in the U.S.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., is spearheading the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act, along with fellow Evergreen State lawmaker Rep. Adam Smith, the top Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee. They say it would curb the “shocking surge” of allegedly wrongful detentions and inappropriate conditions, particularly at jails run by private companies under government contract.
Critics vociferously objected to that suggestion in exclusive comments to Fox News Digital Friday.
“This legislation isn’t aimed at improving conditions for migrants navigating the U.S. immigration system. It would instead end the federal government’s ability to enforce immigration law entirely,” members of the Day 1 Alliance, the main trade association representing longtime federal and state contractors in the criminal justice and immigration spaces, warned.

Day 1 Alliance members said that, for more than three decades, both Republican and Democratic congresses and administrations have respected the “limited yet valued” role their members play in working toward a better immigration enforcement system.
The Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act would lead to the repeal of mandatory detention for those captured by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to a summary posted by Jayapal, and create a presumption of release, imposing a higher burden of proof to detain primary caregivers and “vulnerable populations.”
It also would phase out the use of private detention centers, like those Day 1 Alliance members may work in or with, by about 2029.

In apparent response to Democrats being iced out of ICE centers earlier in 2025, including a case in Newark, New Jersey, where Rep. LaMonica McIver, D-N.J., was accused of accosting officers, it also would mandate that the Department of Homeland Security admit members of Congress to detention facilities for unannounced inspections.
Another case in Baltimore involved that city’s congressman, Democratic Rep. Kweisi Mfume, joining others downtown to protest to the press about not being allowed full access to the Charm City’s Department of Homeland Security installation.
“Contractors operate under strict federal oversight and standards set by the U.S. Congress,” Day 1 Alliance members told Fox News Digital of the implications about the proposed changes.

“They do not make arrests, do not decide the length of detention and play no role in determining the legal status of individuals in their care.”

Jayapal said Thursday the Trump administration has caused a “shocking surge in the detention of people who have committed no crimes.”
“As Trump has struck down legal pathways and made it nearly impossible to come to or stay in this country, even for those who have been here for decades, this will only continue to get worse,” Jayapal said. “We must pass this legislation to protect dignity and civil rights in America.”
Smith added that the U.S. is witnessing “appalling conditions” and a “clear disregard for basic human rights” of detainees.
“No one should be subjected to overcrowded cells, denied medical care or held in facilities that profit off of human suffering,” he said, echoing his Seattle neighbor in saying the bill would provide proper oversight.

Homeland Security officials torched the new bill later Friday.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital Jayapal’s claims of overcrowding, mistreatment and wrongful detention are “false.”
“ICE has higher detention standards than most U.S. prisons that hold actual U.S. citizens,” she said.
“It is a longstanding practice to provide comprehensive medical care from the moment an alien enters ICE custody,” she continued. “This includes medical, dental and mental health intake screening within 12 hours of arriving at each detention facility, a full health assessment within 14 days of entering ICE custody or arrival at a facility and access to medical appointments and 24-hour emergency care. This is the best healthcare many aliens have received in their entire lives. Meals are certified by” dietitians.
McLaughlin added that ICE deaths in custody are at a rate of less than 1%, lower than any previous administration’s record.
She praised House Speaker Mike Johnson’s “big, beautiful bill” as the facilitator of ICE improving detention conditions since President Donald Trump took office.
“Ensuring the safety, security and well-being of individuals in our custody is a top priority at ICE,” she said
A release from Jayapal’s office cited a figure of 66,000 people detained since Trump took office and claimed nearly three-quarters did not have any criminal convictions, an assertion immigration officials have rejected.
There were 123 listed Democratic co-sponsors, including several lawmakers representing areas ICE and USBP have pinpointed for mass enforcement activities.

Pipe bomb suspect confronts charges as family yells message in hearing
Brian Cole Jr., the Virginia man accused of placing pipe bombs outside the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee buildings in Washington, D.C., in January 2021, made his first appearance in federal court Friday as his family yelled in support as he was led out.
Cole, 30, was informed about the charges against him as he appeared before a judge in Washington.
Government prosecutors told Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya Cole spoke to law enforcement for over four hours Thursday, and they would provide a transcript of the conversation to Cole’s defense attorney, John Shoreman, over the weekend.

Cole was wearing a tan jumpsuit and glasses and told Judge Upadhyaya he did understand the charges against him. Cole was not shackled.

The next step is a detention hearing on Dec. 15. Cole will remain in federal custody pending the next court proceeding.
He was arrested Thursday. During 2019 and 2020, he purchased multiple items consistent with components that were used to manufacture the pipe bombs placed at the RNC and DNC, authorities said.

Surveillance footage released by the FBI shows a suspect placing the two explosive devices near the buildings in Washington. The explosives found hours later by law enforcement were determined by the FBI to be “viable devices that could have been detonated, resulting in serious injury or death.”
Cole was charged with transporting an explosive device in interstate commerce and with maliciously attempting to destroy property using explosive materials, according to a criminal complaint.
On Friday, FBI Director Kash Patel criticized the Biden administration over the handling of the case.

Wisconsin-based Fromm Family Foods voluntarily recalled the Bonnihill Farms BeefiBowls Beef Recipe of gently cooked frozen dog food after receiving complaints of plastic contamination.
So far, there have been no reports of any illnesses or injuries.

As top climate activists like Bill Gates shift their focus away from environmental activism, “Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is keeping silent on whether she still stands by her ten-year deadline for action laid out in the Green New Deal.
Back when Ocasio-Cortez first introduced the Green New Deal in the House of Representatives in 2019, she framed climate change as an existential threat that required a ten-year intensity of sweeping changes in U.S. energy policy.
The Green New Deal was introduced as a 10-year national mobilization plan to combat climate change and create jobs. In interviews explaining the proposal, Ocasio-Cortez cited a UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which predicted the planet will reach the crucial threshold of 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit above pre-industrial levels by as early as 2030. This, she said, precipitated the risk of extreme drought, wildfires, floods and food shortages for hundreds of millions of people.
The proposal called for a rapid shift to renewable energy and major infrastructure changes, reducing fossil fuel usage, including coal, oil and natural gas.

Indeed, according to the World Meteorological Organization, the earth’s average temperature already rose by 2.79 degrees in 2024, the warmest year ever recorded globally, without any apocalyptic outcomes as of yet.
Ocasio-Cortez has continued to advocate for climate-focused policies. On her official website, she touts her climate advocacy taking partial credit for the federal government making its “biggest ever investment in climate change – $369 billion to fight climate change, 9 million green jobs and net zero carbon emissions by 2030.”

Among those who have shifted their previous emphasis on climate change activism is long-time environmental philanthropist and billionaire Bill Gates.
In an essay published in October, Gates, who has long pushed for policies to limit the rise in temperatures, said resources should be diverted to improve life in warming parts of the world and improving the lives of people there.
“Climate change, disease, and poverty are all major problems,” Gates wrote. “We should deal with them in proportion to the suffering they cause.”
He noted that the global temperature doesn’t give insight into the quality of people’s lives.
“Although climate change will have serious consequences — particularly for people in the poorest countries — it will not lead to humanity’s demise,” the Microsoft co-founder wrote. “This is a chance to refocus on the metric that should count even more than emissions and temperature change: improving lives. Our chief goal should be to prevent suffering, particularly for those in the toughest conditions who live in the world’s poorest countries.”

Gates hasn’t abandoned the fight against climate change. He noted that every tenth of a degree of warming matters.
“Every tenth of a degree of heating that we prevent is hugely beneficial because a stable climate makes it easier to improve people’s lives,” he wrote.

“Although climate change will hurt poor people more than anyone else, for the vast majority of them it will not be the only or even the biggest threat to their lives and welfare,” he added.
In recent years, Gates has focused on the goals of his Gates Foundation, which has donated billions of dollars to fund health care, education and development initiatives worldwide.
