Attorney General Pam Bondi released video footage Wednesday of U.S. forces seizing a Venezuelan crude oil tanker, a bold move last ordered more than a decade ago.

Video footage showed FBI and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents, along with U.S. Coast Guard members, with support from the Department of War, executing a precise seizure of the tanker, which was being used to move sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran.

Armed personnel in tactical gear rappelled from a helicopter above the vessel off the Venezuelan coast Wednesday, landing on the deck of the ship and entering with weapons drawn.

“For multiple years, the oil tanker has been sanctioned by the United States due to its involvement in an illicit oil shipping network supporting foreign terrorist organizations,” Bondi wrote in a statement on X.

“This seizure, completed off the coast of Venezuela, was conducted safely and securely—and our investigation alongside the Department of Homeland Security to prevent the transport of sanctioned oil continues.”

FBI Director Kash Patel said in an X post the administration’s “efforts to crush FTO’s” and cut off their resources will “continue day and night.”

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem added, “If you threaten our nation or break the law, there is no place on land or sea where we won’t find you. Thank you to our brave service members. America FIRST.”

President Donald Trump noted at the White House Wednesday that the tanker was the “largest one ever seized action,” adding “other things are happening.”

“You’ll be seeing that later,” Trump said. “And you’ll be talking about that later with some other people.”

The Navy confirmed to Fox News Wednesday that 15% of U.S.-deployed Navy ships are in the Caribbean region.

It is unclear what percentage of U.S. Naval assets are in the region.

MARCO RUBIO SAYS TRUMP WILL NOT BE ‘SUCKERED’ BY MADURO LIKE BIDEN

The last time the public was made aware of the U.S. military seizing a foreign oil tanker was in 2014, when Navy SEALs boarded and took over a ship previously seized by three armed men at a Libyan port who were attempting to sell the nationalized Libyan oil on the black market, Fox News Digital previously reported.

About 30 men from Navy SEAL team 2 embarked from the USS Roosevelt, using inflatable boats and ladders to get on board the MV Morning Glory oil tanker and detained the rebels.

There were no casualties during the 2014 mission, which was carried out on orders from former President Barack Obama in international waters southeast of Cyprus at the request of the Libyan and Cypriot governments.

The administration’s latest action is expected to further strain ties with Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro’s government, which is already under sweeping U.S. oil sanctions, and follows 22 U.S. strikes on alleged narco-traffickers near Venezuela that have killed 87 people.

The Trump administration is also weighing land strikes to increase pressure on Maduro, whom the administration deems Venezuela’s illegitimate leader, after recent talks between the two countries failed to produce a deal for his exit.

The White House could not immediately be reached for comment.

13 Republicans defy GOP leaders, advance bill reversing Trump union order

Thirteen House Republicans joined Democrats in advancing a bill to reverse President Donald Trump‘s executive order cracking down on federal worker unions on Wednesday evening.

The bill was led by Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, who forced a vote on the measure via a mechanism called a discharge petition. It’s designed to force a vote on legislation over the wishes of leadership provided it gets support from a majority of House lawmakers.

A motion to proceed with debate and a vote on the final bill passed the House in a 222-200 vote. All 209 voting Democrats voted with 13 Republicans to advance the bill, which is now headed for another House-wide procedural hurdle Thursday.

6 HOUSE DEMOCRATS EXPLAIN BREAKING WITH PARTY TO END SHUTDOWN

If it survives a House “rule vote,” the final vote to pass the repeal will also take place Thursday.

The Republicans who voted to advance the legislation were Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J., Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., Nick LaLota, R-N.Y., Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., Rob Bresnahan, R-Pa., Don Bacon, R-Neb., Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., Tom Kean, R-N.J., Ryan Mackenzie, R-Pa., Zach Nunn, R-Iowa, Chris Smith, R-N.J., Pete Stauber, R-Minn., and Mike Turner, R-Ohio.

Five House Republicans had signed onto Golden’s petition along with 213 Democrats — Fitzpatrick, Bresnahan, Bacon, Lawler, and LaLota.

Golden’s bill is called the Protect America’s Workforce Act and is aimed at repealing a March 2025 executive order by Trump.

Trump’s order blocked collective bargaining with unions at an array of federal agencies, including parts of the departments of Defense, State, Veterans Affairs, Justice and Energy.

It also affected workers at the departments of Homeland Security (DHS), Treasury, Health and Human Services (HHS), Interior and Agriculture.

58 HOUSE DEMS VOTE AGAINST RESOLUTION HONORING ‘LIFE AND LEGACY’ OF CHARLIE KIRK

Successful discharge petitions are rare in the House, with most lawmakers in the majority party generally wary of being in open defiance of their party leaders.

But most of the Republicans who backed Golden’s measure are expected to either face at least somewhat tough re-election bids or have districts located in blue states where bipartisanship is expected on certain key issues.

Discharge petitions have also become a more frequent exercise in the House this year, with the GOP grappling with a razor-thin majority that only allows Republicans to lose two votes on any party-line measure.

Republicans like Lawler, LaLota, Malliotakis and others have also been supported by unions.

The legislation will now be debated in the House before a final vote. It must then be taken up and approved in the Senate and head to Trump’s desk for his signature to be enacted.

Elon Musk accuses Ilhan Omar of ‘treason’ as Trump demands ‘get her the hell out’

Elon Musk accused Rep. Ilhan Omar of committing treason over past comments in which she vowed to safeguard Somali interests in the U.S. while assuring her constituents the administration would “do what we ask it to do.”

“This sounds like treason,” Musk wrote on X, reposting a clip of Omar speaking to Somali constituents in Minnesota in 2024.

The video circulated widely online and was highlighted further by the Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s retweet Wednesday.

Omar originally made the remarks in January 2024, when she told supporters in the Twin Cities she would fight to prevent the breakaway Republic of Somaliland from allowing Ethiopia to create a naval base on its coastline.

ILHAN OMAR PRESSED TO EXPLAIN HOW FRAUD IN MINNESOTA GOT ‘SO OUT OF CONTROL’

Minnesota is home to the largest Somali refugee community in the U.S., with most members of that community living in Omar’s district.

“The U.S. government will do what we ask it to do,” a translation of Omar’s speech said.

“We should have this kind of confidence in ourselves as Somalis. We live in this country. We are taxpayers in this country. This country is one where one of your daughters sits in Congress. While I am in Congress, no one will take Somalia’s sea, and the U.S. government won’t support others to rob us. Don’t stress over it, Minnesotans.”

Omar’s resurfaced video gained traction shortly after President Trump spoke at a rally in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, where he said she prioritized Somalia over the U.S.

“I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is, with the little turban,” Trump said.

“She comes in, does nothing but b—-. She comes from her country, where, I mean, it’s considered about the worst country in the world, right?

“We ought to get her the hell out.”

And the crowd chanted, “Send her back!”

Trump also criticized Omar and the Somali population more broadly, referencing the fact that dozens of Somali immigrants in Minnesota have been arrested or charged with fraud schemes.

He also targeted Gov. Tim Walz since the alleged fraud schemes, which cost the state around $1 billion, happened under his watch.

Dick Van Dyke credits dropping two habits for his vitality as he nears 100 years

Dick Van Dyke, the squeaky-clean Disney icon, gave up his vices long ago — and says it’s paid off with a remarkably long life.

The “Mary Poppins” star, who turns 100 on Dec. 13, says his sweeping lifestyle changes may be why he’s still going strong.

“So I got rid of booze and cigarettes and all that stuff, which is probably why I’m still here,” Van Dyke said at a recent Vandy High Tea event at his Malibu, California, home, People reported.

ANTHONY HOPKINS REVEALS DIVINE VOICE THAT ENDED HIS LONG BATTLE WITH ALCOHOL

“I smoked a lot, actually!” the 99-year-old actor admitted. “I think I was probably in my 50s before it dawned on me that I had an addictive personality. If I liked something, I was going to overdo it.”

During the event, Van Dyke recalled meeting Walt Disney in the early 1960s. The pioneering animator died in 1966 at age 65 from lung cancer.

“He was a wonderful guy,” said Van Dyke. “He just smoked too much!”

In 1972, Van Dyke checked into a hospital to address his alcoholism, People reported.

Van Dyke previously told the “Really No Really” podcast that sharing his struggles with alcohol was important to him because he hoped it would help others.

“I knew so many people who couldn’t get out of it,” he said. “I was in my 30s, and I didn’t drink. I moved to a neighborhood … where they had parties every Saturday, and I started to drink with them. Before I knew it, I was hung up on this stuff. I couldn’t believe it. Same with smoking.”

Van Dyke noted he only drank “socially,” never while working or before going to the set. Still, it affected his life when the cameras stopped rolling.

“An alcoholic will go from a happy drunk, eventually into a mean drunk and an unhappy guy,” he said. “And I was getting testy, and I just hated it.”

Still, the “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” actor admitted that quitting smoking was “twice as hard.”

“Much worse than the alcohol,” he shared on the podcast. “[It took] forever.”

In an essay he wrote for The Times U.K. ahead of his birthday, Van Dyke shared that staying active has been key to keeping himself physically strong and mentally sharp. It also lets him pursue his love of dancing.

“I still try to hit the gym three times a week,” he explained. “I don’t know why this is something I still want to do, but it is. I’m not a ‘wake up and go back to bed’ type just yet, unless it’s cold and rainy. If I miss too many gym days, I really can feel it — a stiffness creeping in here and there. If I let that set in, well, God help me.”

“At the gym, I usually do a circuit, going from one machine to the next without a break, in a circle,” he said. “I start with the sit-up machine. [My wife] Arlene says I could do 500, but that might be exaggerating. Then I do all the leg machines religiously because my legs are two of my most cherished possessions. And then the upper body.”

“The secret ingredient is the music,” he continued. “Most of my humming and singing really happens when I’m going from one machine to another. By ‘going’ I mean dancing. You heard me — dancing! And if I’m really feeling it, I’m no quiet warbler; I’m a Broadway belter.”

While exercise keeps his body moving, it’s love that keeps his heart young.

“I met Arlene in 2006, and she quickly became my soulmate and the love of my life,” he wrote about his wife, 54.

“Without question, our ongoing romance is the most important reason I have not withered away into a hermetic grouch. Arlene is half my age, and she makes me feel somewhere between two-thirds and three-quarters my age — which is still saying a lot. Every day she finds a new way to keep me up and moving, bright and hopeful and needed.”

“Boiled down, the things that have kept my life joyful and fulfilling are pretty simple: romance, doing what I love and a whole lot of laughing,” he continued.

“Let me show you what that looks like on the ground, as they say. To pull the ‘grumpy old man’ away from the TV, Arlene will dance along to the pharmaceutical ads. This gets me out of bed, following her to the kitchen.”

“Invariably, one of us will start singing, and the other will join in. And if it’s a good day, which it almost always is in our house, we’ll break into a little swaying and soft-shoe right there.”

Looking ahead, the beloved entertainer’s biggest piece of advice for embracing aging is surprisingly simple: don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself. A sense of humor, he says, can outshine the hardest parts of growing older.

Trump unfazed as bathroom blunder interrupts Air Force One briefing with reporters

Turns out the most aggressive follow-up question aboard Air Force One came from the lavatory door.

A mid-flight press gaggle aboard Air Force One turned unexpectedly chaotic — and instantly viral — on Tuesday when a bathroom door behind President Donald Trump suddenly swung open and bumped him mid-sentence, prompting the president to stop, turn and deadpan, “Hello. Somebody’s in there. Come on out!”

The press corps burst into laughter, briefly drowning out the briefing as the unidentified occupant yanked the door shut and refused to emerge again.

TRUMP MOCKS CBS REPORTER ON AIR FORCE ONE AS HE DEFENDS MRI RESULTS

Trump had been responding to a question just moments after teasing a reporter wielding a boom mic.

“You’re gonna have to take it easy with that thing. It’s a government plane, but I’d like to take care of it.”

Before he could continue, the lavatory door popped open at just the wrong moment. A startled, unidentified staffer bumped the president’s shoulder and slammed the door so quickly it nearly jammed.

Trump smirked before knocking on the lavatory door and saying, “Hello. Somebody’s in there. Come on out!”

The staffer stayed inside for the rest of the briefing.

Once the room regained composure, Trump shifted straight back to policy, picking up a question on health savings accounts and health insurance reform as if nothing had happened.

“I don’t want to give the insurance companies any money,” he said. “They’ve been ripping off the public for years. Obamacare.”

TRUMP BOARDS AF1 QUICKLY, USING SMALL STAIRS DUE TO ‘INCREASED SECURITY MEASURES’: WH OFFICIAL

The tonal whiplash of slapstick interruption followed by hard policy only seemed to amplify the comedic moment, with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt visible in the background of the pool shot trying to lure the mystery stowaway out of the lavatory.

Leavitt was seen giggling with a Secret Service agent moments later.

Air Force One gaggles are typically high-stakes exchanges in tight quarters, and unpredictable mishaps aren’t unheard of. It is rare for a bathroom door, however, to become the star of the show over a presidential response.

Despite the disruption, Trump continued taking questions as the mystery staffer remained hidden in the lavatory. The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request to identify the individual.

PepsiCo says it’s removing hundreds of products from shelves — and lowering prices

PepsiCo said it is eliminating hundreds of products from shelves by early next year following discussions with an activist investor pushing the company to cut costs and streamline its product lineup.

On Monday, the food giant, whose brands include Fritos, Gatorade, Doritos, Cheetos and Aquafina, said it is in the process of reducing nearly 20% of the SKUs (stock keeping units) that it sells in the U.S. by early 2026. It has already closed three manufacturing plants and shut some manufacturing lines this year.

An SKU is a specific version of an item such as a different size, flavor or package type. However, it doesn’t mean an entire product line.

PepsiCo said it also plans to offer more affordable price options to stimulate growth and improve “the purchase frequency of our mainstream brands.” It is also focusing on rapidly launching products that meet the needs of the consumer, such as products made without artificial colors and flavors and that include more protein, fiber and whole grains.

POTATO CHIP BRAND UNVEILS BIGGEST REDESIGN IN NEARLY 100-YEAR HISTORY

The company’s plans come in the midst of ongoing discussions with Elliott Investment Management, which disclosed a $4 billion stake in PepsiCo in September. Elliott wrote a letter to PepsiCo, pushing it to take several steps to reduce costs and revitalize the business, which it argued had been underperforming in recent years and trades near decade-low valuation levels. Its sales also lagged behind one of its biggest rivals: Coca-Cola.

In its letter, Elliott urged the company to consider selling or outsourcing its complex, costly bottling operations, which Coca-Cola already does. It also recommended that the company cut back on unnecessary drink variations to make the business easier and cheaper to run. For food, Elliott said PepsiCo needs to lower costs to match current sales levels and sell off parts of the business that aren’t essential or aren’t performing well.

The aim is that these measures will collectively help the company boost profits, streamline operations and free up money for reinvestment in the company’s strongest areas.

DOMINO’S REBRANDS FOR FIRST TIME IN OVER A DECADE

“We appreciate our collaborative engagement with PepsiCo’s management team and the urgency they have demonstrated,” said Marc Steinberg, partner at Elliott.

Marc Steinberg, partner at Elliott, commended PepsiCo’s urgency in addressing its issues and believes that its plans to make products more affordable, accelerate the launch of new products and cut costs heavily will drive greater revenue and profit growth.

“We are confident that PepsiCo will create substantial value for shareholders as it executes on this plan, and we look forward to continued engagement with the Company,” Steinberg said.

PEPSI WILL NOT FACTOR REPRESENTATION METRICS IN EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION

PepsiCo CEO Ramon Laguarta also expressed confidence in its plans, which he believes will help them accelerate organic revenue growth, deliver record productivity savings and improve core operating margin starting in 2026.

The company said it expects sales from its core business to grow between 2% and 4% for all of 2026. The company anticipates to hit the higher end of that range in the second half of the year. The businesses PepsiCo bought or sold in 2025 are expected to add to that growth, the company added.

Model credits 3 lifestyle changes for effortless 50-pound weight loss

Weight loss can be tricky, especially when approaching it without the support of medication.

For India Gants, winner of Season 23 of “America’s Next Top Model,” her weight loss journey led her to lose 50 pounds with what she described as “very little effort.”

In a TikTok video, the Seattle-based model shared the “secret sauce” that led to her weight loss success, including three main lifestyle factors: quitting alcohol, eating more protein and weightlifting.

100-YEAR-OLD GREAT-GRANDMOTHER REVEALS HER SECRET OF LIVING A LONG LIFE

No. 1: Quitting alcohol

“First of all, weight loss was not my goal,” Gants said. “It was kind of an afterproduct … a byproduct of quitting drinking … [that] kind of kick-started everything else.”

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Gants commented on how being sober has played a “major role” in her weight loss journey, even leading to the launch of “The Sober Scoop” podcast to help others navigate sobriety.

“I quit drinking because I had a drinking problem, but I stay sober for so many reasons beyond that,” she shared. “Alcohol is a class 1 carcinogen, it slows our metabolism, it affects our brain health and it destroys our internal organs.

HEART SURGEON REVEALS WHAT TO EAT (AND NOT EAT) FOR OPTIMAL CARDIAC HEALTH

“Not to freak people out, but since getting sober, I’ve learned so much more about the negative effects of alcohol, and I have no interest in drinking ever again.”

Beyond the physical outcomes, Gants credits sobriety with making her happier, kinder, more confident and more successful.

“When you’re a heavy drinker, you give up everything for alcohol; but when you’re sober, you give up alcohol for everything else,” she said. “Everything in my life got better, and I feel like everyone deserves to meet their sober selves.”

Gants encouraged others to seek out sober activities that bring them joy.

“Not everything about sobriety is rainbows and butterflies. It was hard to get here,” she said. “Sobriety is worth the upfront investment.”

No. 2: Ramping up protein

The second change Gants made was adding more protein to her diet.

“For me personally, wrapping my head around eating more of something is so much easier than saying, ‘I’m not eating carbs, I’m not eating sugar,’” she said. “I didn’t cut out anything.

“I allowed myself the sweet treats, I allowed myself the bread, whatever I wanted, really, but I tried to eat more protein, and it is like a magic potion.”

Gants noted that protein helps her stay fuller longer while building muscle.

“Protein is so good for you, and it’s such an easy thing mentally to wrap your head around,” she said.

No. 3: Embracing strength training

For fitness, Gants revealed the third change she made to her routine was weightlifting, which she called the “life hack to fitness.”

“You can do your Pilates, your yoga, your walking … but the weightlifting is truly life-changing,” she said. “You have never seen your body as good as it can look until you’ve tried weightlifting.”

DIABETES PREVENTION LINKED TO SPECIFIC TYPE OF EXERCISE, STUDY SHOWS

She added that lifting weights doesn’t require too much time — only 15 to 30 minutes, three days per week at the gym led to changes in her body composition.

“Also, strength is tied to longevity, so it’s just good for you in general,” Gants said. “Give it a try, mix in some walking. Those three things helped me lose the 50 pounds with very little effort.”

‘Somewhere in the middle’

Dr. Peter Balazs, a hormone and weight loss specialist in New Jersey, reacted to Gants’ weight loss routine in an interview with Fox News Digital.

“The truth is somewhere in the middle,” he said. “Weightlifting together with a higher intake of protein creates more muscle mass. Additionally, muscle mass memory can come back easily when you stop drinking and live a healthier life.”

Alcohol consumption “actively opposes” weight loss by adding empty calories, halting the burning of fat, encouraging fat storage, increasing appetite and reducing inhibitions that lead to poor food choices, according to Balazs.

Drinking alcohol can also disrupt the body’s natural recovery and sleep cycle, which can also interrupt hormones and increase the risk of sleep apnea, he added,

Lasting weight loss occurs through sustaining a calorie deficit, which a high-protein diet can help facilitate, Balazs noted.

“Weightlifting ensures the weight that is lost is fat and not muscle,” he said. “All of this together decreases cortisol, which is the stress hormone and biggest enemy of weight loss.”

In addition to balanced exercise, Dr. Sarah Towne, a family medicine physician with PlushCare, encouraged a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables for a healthy intake of vitamins, fiber and antioxidants.

“You need protein, but you also need whole, plant-based foods.”

“You need protein but not just protein; you also need whole, plant-based foods,” the North Carolina-based expert told Fox News Digital. “Cutting out junk food helps curb cravings and reduces the … onset of metabolic disasters like diabetes and hypertension.
