Bukele challenges Hillary Clinton to take El Salvador’s entire prison population

El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele responded to allegations by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about the conditions at the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), the country’s maximum-security prison that has received migrants deported from the United States.

Bukele was responding to a post on X by Clinton that was accompanied by an 11-minute video of the PBS Frontline documentary titled: “Surviving CECOT.”

“Curious to learn more about CECOT?” she wrote. “Hear Juan, Andry, and Wilmer share firsthand how the Trump administration branded them as gang members without evidence and deported them to the brutal El Salvadoran prison.”

’60 MINUTES’ POSTPONES SEGMENT ON MIGRANT INMATES FROM EL SALVADOR’S CECOT PRISON

The short documentary tells the story of three Venezuelan men — Juan José Ramos Ramos, Andry Blanco Bonilla and Wilmer Vega Sandia — who were deported by the Trump administration to CECOT, a description of the short film states.

All three men were branded by the U.S. government as Tren de Aragua gang members, which they deny.

In response, Bukele said his country was ready to cooperate if Clinton thinks people have been tortured in the notorious prison that houses many of the country’s gang members and migrants deported from the U.S.

“We are willing to release our entire prison population (including all gang leaders and all those described as “political prisoners”) to any country willing to receive them,” he wrote. “The only condition is straightforward: it must be everyone.”

FEDERAL JUDGE ORDERS KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA RELEASED FROM ICE CUSTODY

“This would also greatly assist journalists and your favorite NGOs, who would then have thousands of former inmates available for interviews, making it far easier to find additional voices critical of the Salvadoran government (or willing to confirm whatever conclusions are already expected),” added Bukele. “Surely, if these testimonies reflect a systemic reality, a much larger pool of sources should only reinforce the claim, and many governments should be eager to offer protection.”

Until then, he continued, El Salvador will continue prioritizing the human rights of the millions of Salvadorans who today live free from gang rule,” Bukele said.

Bukele solidified his relationship with President Donald Trump by offering to house certain migrants deported from the U.S. at CECOT. The U.S. has deported Venezuelan migrants deemed to be gang members to El Salvador after their home country refused to take them back.

Supreme Court rules on Trump administration’s bid to deploy National Guard to Chicago

The Supreme Court rejected the Trump administration’s request to allow the president to proceed with immediately deploying National Guard troops to Chicago — delivering a blow, if temporary, to President Donald Trump as he seeks to expand his federalization push across the U.S.

The justices declined the Trump administration’s emergency request to overturn a ruling by U.S. District Judge April Perry that had blocked the deployment of troops. An appeals court also had refused to step in. The Supreme Court took more than two months to act.

“At this preliminary stage, the Government has failed to identify a source of authority that would allow the military to execute the laws in Illinois,” the high court majority wrote.

Three justices, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch, publicly dissented. The outcome is a rare Supreme Court setback for Trump, who had won repeated victories in emergency appeals since he took office again in January.

‘UNTETHERED FROM REALITY’: LAWYERS FOR TRUMP, OREGON, SPAR OVER NATIONAL GUARD DEPLOYMENT IN COURT CLASH

The White House told Fox News Digital that the Trump administration plans to keep working “day in and day out to safeguard the American public.”

“The President promised the American people he would work tirelessly to enforce our immigration laws and protect federal personnel from violent rioters. He activated the National Guard to protect federal law enforcement officers, and to ensure rioters did not destroy federal buildings and property,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said in a statement. “Nothing in today’s ruling detracts from that core agenda.”

In a statement, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul praised the court’s decision.

“Nearly 250 years ago, the framers of our nation’s Constitution carefully divided responsibility over the country’s militia, today’s U.S. National Guard, between the federal government and the states – believing it impossible that a president would use one state’s militia against another state,” he said. “The extremely limited circumstances under which the federal government can call up the militia over a state’s objection do not exist in Illinois, and I am pleased that the streets of Illinois will remain free of armed National Guard members as our litigation continues in the courts.”

The update comes after the Trump administration asked the high court last week to stay a lower court order blocking Trump from immediately deploying federalized National Guard troops to Chicago.

“This decision reinforces that domestic deployment of troops is rare and exceptional, and it was absolutely unjustified in Illinois,” said Hina Shamsi, director of ACLU’s National Security Project. “With each court decision against the President’s domestic troop deployments, it becomes clearer that his version of American cities as hellscapes, and protest against his policies as requiring troops, is plain false. We’re glad that the Supreme Court has upheld the order blocking this blatant abuse of presidential power because there’s no reason for any troops policing civilians in our streets.”

Solicitor General D. John Sauer argued in the administration’s appeal to the Supreme Court that a federal judge’s earlier order, as well as the partial stay granted by a unanimous 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, “improperly impinges on the president’s authority and needlessly endangers federal personnel and property.”

Blocking the deployment of National Guard troops, Sauer argued, risks “jeopardizing the lives and safety of DHS officers,” and prevents officials from taking what he argued are “reasonable and lawful measures” to protect federal agents from the “violent resistance” that they argue has persisted in Chicago.

Lawyers for Illinois and Chicago disputed that contention, however.

‘UNTETHERED FROM REALITY’: LAWYERS FOR TRUMP, OREGON, SPAR OVER NATIONAL GUARD DEPLOYMENT IN COURT CLASH

They argued in their Supreme Court filing that the Trump administration’s arguments “rest on mischaracterizations of the factual record or the lower courts’ views of the legal principles.”

They also cited the lower court judge’s order, which found the administration’s declarations about the nature of the protests in Chicago and nearby Broadview were “unreliable” and overstated the violence and difficulties officers faced enforcing the law.

“As the district court found, state and local law enforcement officers have handled isolated protest activities in Illinois, and there is no credible evidence to the contrary,” lawyers for the state of Illinois said Monday.

The update comes as Trump has sought to deploy hundreds of National Guard troops to a growing list of Democratic-led cities, despite stated opposition from local and state leaders.

He has faced opposition from a handful of federal courts, including U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee, who described Trump’s actions in a restraining order this month as “untethered to reality,” and failing to reflect the situation on the ground.

A three-judge panel for the 9th Circuit later stayed her order, allowing Trump to proceed with his deployment to Portland.

TRUMP IS THREATENING TO ‘FEDERALIZE’ DC WITH NATIONAL GUARD AND MORE. HERE’S HOW THAT COULD PLAY OUT

In D.C., a federal judge on Friday will hear updates on the status of Trump’s National Guard deployments in the nation’s capital, after the city’s attorney general said in a new court filing that it appears the National Guard troops will remain deployed through at least summer 2026.

It is unclear whether that is the Trump administration’s plan — and if so, how many of the 2,500 National Guard troops originally sent to D.C. in August would remain through that date.

The fight comes as Trump officials argue that the deployments are a necessary step to crack down on what they have said is an uptick in violent crime and protect against threats from protesters, including anti-ICE demonstrations.

Democrats, meanwhile, argue that Trump has failed to satisfy the criteria needed to federalize National Guard troops under USC § 12406, which allows a president to do so in cases of a foreign invasion, if there is “danger of a rebellion” or in cases when regular officers are unable to enforce the law.

They have also argued that Trump’s characterizations are hyperbolic and merely a pretext to “federalize” Democratic-led cities and states.

Repeat offender charged after another random attack leaves woman blind

Newly released video has captured the horrifying moment a man wielding a wooden stick with a metal screw attached to one end allegedly brutally attacked an elderly woman at random early December.

Authorities said the suspect, who has a “violent person” caution and an extensive criminal history including random assaults, allegedly swung the weapon “like a baseball bat” and struck the unsuspecting 75-year-old woman in the face. The victim, Jeanette Marken, was left with “a laceration that was bleeding heavily” and is expected to permanently lose vision in one eye.

The brazen incident occurred just outside the King County Courthouse in downtown Seattle on Dec. 5.

Suspect Fale Vaigalepa Pea, 42, was arrested shortly after the incident when a King County Sheriff’s Office deputy posted near the courthouse rushed to the scene. Pea has been charged with first-degree assault and is being held on $1 million bail.

GUN JAMS AS SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT TRIES TO SHOOT OHIO POLICE OFFICER AT POINT-BLANK RANGE IN WILD BODYCAM VIDEO

In the video, the suspect appeared to deliberately strike Marken in the face from behind as she stood at a crosswalk intersection. He then walked away from the scene as several bystanders rushed to assist her, called 911 and pursued the suspect.

“The video captured by the Real Time Crime Center shows the suspect assaulting the victim from behind with an improvised weapon,” Detective Eric Muñoz told Fox News Digital in a statement Monday. “She had no opportunity to protect or defend herself. SPD is grateful for the community members that came to her immediate aid and called 911.”

The son of the victim said in a GoFundMe page that his mother was simply delivering food when the weapon gouged out her eye, prompting her to fall on the floor covered in blood.

“She was simply waiting to cross the street when a man came from behind and struck her in the face with a wooden club with nails,” the son said. “The blow was so violent that she fell into the ground instantly. “

“Her vision in her right eye was gone, and she was losing too much blood. At the hospital, we learned she had multiple fractures in her face, skull and nose… and that the damage to her right eye was permanent. She will never see from that eye again.”

NORTH CAROLINA POLICE OFFICER KILLED IN LINE OF DUTY DURING EMERGENCY ROOM SHOOTING INCIDENT

According to body camera footage, officers said they immediately recognized the repeat offender and described him as “notorious for random assaults” along Third Avenue. Local outlet KOMO News reported that Pea has been in and out of jail eight times this year alone.

“He’s a regular,” one officer was heard saying. “He usually punches. I guess today he decided to escalate from his usual.”

SHOOTING AT CROWDED SOUTH CAROLINA BAR LEAVES AT LEAST 4 DEAD, 20 OTHERS INJURED

In 2012, Pea was convicted in a 2011 party stabbing incident that left two people injured, including one victim who was stabbed eight times, KOMO News said. He reportedly received an 18-month sentence of community custody, and prosecutors said he was convicted of assault in the second degree.

According to court documents, Pea continued to rack up assault charges, including one misdemeanor conviction in 2020, four misdemeanor convictions in 2023 and another misdemeanor conviction for assault in 2024, prosecutors said.

In 2025, he was booked eight times for a wide range of incidents including assault, indecent exposure, drugs, property destruction, unlawful use of weapons and malicious mischief, KOMO News reported. However, none of his arrests resulted in charges, the outlet added, citing Seattle Municipal Court and King County Superior Court records.

The King County Prosecuting Attorney, which handles felony charges, told Fox News Digital that it has charged every violent felony case involving Pea that police referred to its office, including the 2011 felony assault case and the most recent case.

In the current case, prosecutors said they rush-filed a first-degree assault charge with a deadly weapon enhancement, meaning that he would face a longer sentencing range if convicted. They also sought $1 million bail, and requested electronic home monitoring if bail was posted.

Prosecutors said no other felony cases with sufficient evidence were referred to them between 2011 and the present.

The office noted that Pea’s other assault convictions — in 2024, 2023 and 2020 — were misdemeanor cases handled by the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, not King County prosecutors.

Seattle City Attorney’s Office and Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Biff Poggi emerges as Michigan football coach candidate after shocking exit

Michigan dismissed head coach Sherrone Moore earlier this month, prompting a wide-ranging search for the program’s next leader.

Biff Poggi, a longtime fixture in college football, was named interim head coach after Moore was fired over what officials described as an “inappropriate relationship with a staff member.” Poggi is not considered the odds-on favorite for the full-time job moving forward.

Nevertheless, the longtime coach is beginning to make his case for the job. The 65-year-old said returning to the sideline, even amid chaotic circumstances, has reignited his enthusiasm.

“It has sparked it. I’ve enjoyed this,” Poggi said. “It’s been a great challenge, but it’s nice being back as close to the kids as you are when you’re doing this.” He will be on the sideline when Michigan faces Texas in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Eve.

While Poggi’s resume spans decades in football, his only Division I FBS head coaching experience came at Charlotte, and he has never led a Power Four program. Poggi worked as a football analyst for the Wolverines in 2016 before returning in 2021 as associate head coach and an advisor to then-head coach Jim Harbaugh.

EX-MICHIGAN STAR BACKS BIFF POGGI AS NEXT HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

According to multiple reports, Poggi is being considered for the full-time role and said Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel interviewed him. Should an offer materialize, Poggi would not hesitate to accept.

“I’m being considered. I’ve had multiple interviews, multiple conversations,” Poggi said. “Nobody knows what’s going to happen. I don’t know what’s going to happen. I just appreciate being considered, and we’ll see what happens.”

When asked what he believes is the top-selling point he offers over other candidates, Poggi delivered a simple, yet pointed response.

“Because I know what the hell I’m doing.”

He then pointed to his familiarity with the Michigan football program.

“I have a long 10-year history of knowledge of this place. This place is really important to me. My wife and I had someone, one of our boys played here (Henry Poggi). We have two daughters that most of you don’t know about that graduated from here. Or are graduating. This place has been great for them. One’s a doctor. One’s going to be a doctor. Henry, talk about the power of Michigan. You all remember Henry. He’s now an investment banker. This place is magical.”

Family texts surface after Anna Kepner’s death aboard Carnival cruise ship

Newly released court records shed additional light on how a family responded after the death of 18-year-old Anna Kepner, who was found dead aboard a Carnival cruise ship last month.

According to documents obtained by FOX 35 Orlando, text messages exchanged after Anna’s death show the family’s concern about limiting information shared publicly and keeping their 16-year-old son’s name out of the media.

The messages were submitted as exhibits in an ongoing family court case and include exchanges that began within roughly a day of Anna’s body being discovered. The messages also emphasize the family’s position that the teen does not remember events surrounding Anna’s death.

Anna Kepner was found dead Nov. 7 in her cabin aboard the Carnival Horizon, which returned to Port Miami two days later. Federal authorities boarded the ship upon its return and began collecting evidence.

CHEERLEADER’S CRUISE SHIP DEATH HAS FAMILY POINTING FINGERS

Officials said she died from mechanical asphyxia, meaning she was deprived of oxygen. No suspect has been publicly named in the case.

Text exchanges between Anna’s stepmother, Shauntel Kepner, and her ex-husband show conversations that began the evening of Nov. 8, about a day after Anna’s body was discovered.

Court records indicate the discussions focused largely on managing information, limiting social media exposure and addressing concerns involving the teen, who is a minor, rather than on the circumstances of Anna’s death. Court documents indicate the teen is being investigated in connection with Anna’s death but note he has not been charged.

ANNA KEPNER DIES MYSTERIOUSLY DURING FAMILY VACATION ON CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP: TIMELINE OF EVENTS

In one message sent around 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, Shauntel asked her ex-husband to call her immediately, describing the situation as an emergency. When he later suggested picking up their daughter, Shauntel declined, explaining the girl had only been told that her brother was struggling emotionally and was being evaluated at a hospital.

In a later exchange on Nov. 9, Shauntel described a brief conversation she said she had with her son while he was in a medical facility. She stated he repeatedly said he could not remember anything and that a nurse allowed the short call so she could reassure him that his parents loved him.

The messages also show efforts to prevent information from spreading on social media, including concerns about posts circulating online and the desire to shield the teen from negative attention. Shauntel emphasized that he is a minor and that the family did not want his name released.

FATHER OF CHEERLEADER WHO DIED ON CARNIVAL CRUISE SUBPOENAED TO TESTIFY IN CUSTODY CASE

During a Dec. 5 court appearance, Shauntel’s attorney said the teen’s father agreed to have him live with a relative after his release from the hospital once the ship docked. The attorney said the decision was made to eliminate any potential risk to other children in the home, according to FOX 35 Orlando.

Shauntel also testified that the teen takes medication for ADHD and insomnia and had not taken his insomnia medication for two nights during the cruise, including the night before Anna’s body was found.

Court documents state Anna’s body was discovered under a bed in a cabin she was sharing with two siblings, including her 16-year-old stepbrother.

CRUISE TRAGEDY: ‘I AM NOT OKAY,’ SAYS MOTHER OF 18-YEAR-OLD FOUND DEAD ABOARD CARNIVAL SHIP

While the FBI has not publicly identified anyone as a suspect and no criminal charges have been filed, records from an ongoing family court dispute between Anna’s father and stepmother, Christopher Kepner and Shauntel Kepner, and Shauntel Kepner’s ex-husband, Thomas Hudson, indicate the teen is being investigated in Anna’s death.

Additional messages referenced the possibility that charges could be filed depending on the results of the autopsy. Shauntel said the family planned to learn more once the autopsy findings were available.

A former sheriff’s detective, Jamie Copenhaver, reviewed the messages and told FOX 35 Orlando they raised concerns for him. He said the exchanges appeared focused on controlling public perception rather than addressing the loss of an 18-year-old family member.

CHEERLEADER WHO DIED ABOARD CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP CREMATED, DEATH CERTIFICATE REVEALS

Copenhaver described the messages as resembling “damage control,” adding that the tone suggested to him that the family knew more than what had been publicly shared.

Messages included in the court records also show both parents expressing emotional support for their son, emphasizing that he was not alone and that his family stood by him.

In one exchange, Hudson told Shauntel that he wanted their son to know “he isn’t just dead to everyone,” adding that “regardless of everything at the moment, he needs his parents,” and that he wanted an opportunity to speak with him as soon as possible.

Kepner, of Titusville, Florida, was a high school senior at Temple Christian School. She was preparing to graduate in the spring of 2026 and hoped to enlist in the U.S. Navy, her family said.

The FBI has not released details about the investigation, and the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner has not publicly released Anna’s autopsy or toxicology results. The investigation remains ongoing, and more than six weeks later, no individual has been publicly identified as a suspect.

James Cameron, the man behind the “Avatar” films and “Titanic,” is slamming Amy Poehler after she took a jab at his personal life over a decade ago.

At the 2013 Golden Globes, Poehler and Tina Fey were presenting the award for best director. Cameron’s ex-wife, Kathryn Bigelow, was one of the nominees that year. The former couple were married from 1989-1991.

Bigelow earned a nomination as the director of “Zero Dark Thirty,” a movie that was filmed in Pakistan and included scenes of torture.

“When it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron,” Poehler joked, referencing Bigelow’s movie.

“Amy Poehler’s remark was an ignorant dig, at an event which is supposed to be a celebration of cinema and filmmakers, not a roast,” Cameron said in a recent interview with the New York Times.

“I’m pretty thick-skinned, and happy to be the butt of a good-natured joke, but that went too far,” he said.

The director continued, “The fact that people found it funny shows exactly what they think of me, even though they have no idea who I am or how I work.”

Although Cameron did find offense to the joke, he told the outlet that he and Bigelow remain friends and are supporters of each other’s work.

A couple of years before Poehler’s jab, Cameron and Bigelow were going head-to-head at the 2010 Academy Awards. They were both nominated for best director, Cameron was recognized for “Avatar” and Bigelow was recognized for “Hurt Locker.”

One of golf’s biggest stars to leave PGA for LIV ends tenure with Saudi-backed league

After months of speculation, Brooks Koepka’s time with LIV Golf has officially come to a close.

The tour announced Tuesday that the five-time major winner will no longer play for the Saudi-backed league after joining in 2022.

“We have amicably and mutually agreed that Brooks Koepka will no longer compete in the LIV Golf League, following the 2025 season,” the tour said in a statement. “Brooks is prioritizing the needs of his family and staying closer to home. We appreciate the significant impact he has had on the game and wish him continued success, both on and off the course.”

Koepka’s representatives said he is deeply grateful to Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Scott O’Neil, and the LIV Golf leadership team, his teammates “and the fans,” citing family time as his reason for leaving.

“Family has always guided Brooks’s decisions, and he feels this is the right moment to spend more time at home. Brooks will continue to be a huge supporter of LIV Golf and wishes the league and its players continued success. Brooks remains passionate about the game of golf and will keep fans updated on what’s ahead,” the statement read.

It remains to be seen if Koepka will return to the PGA Tour, but the Tour did release a statement following Koepka’s LIV departure, seemingly taking a shot at its rival.

“Brooks Koepka is a highly accomplished professional, and we wish him and his family continued success. The PGA Tour continues to offer the best professional golfers the most competitive, challenging and lucrative environment in which to pursue greatness,” the tour said.

LIV GOLF’S MITO PEREIRA MAKES STUNNING DECISION TO RETIRE AT 30

Rumors have constantly circulated that Koepka has had buyer’s remorse ever since joining LIV Golf on a deal he admitted was nine figures. Koepka was one of the first big names to join the Saudi-funded tour, admitting at the 2023 Masters that his injuries played a major role in the move, which guaranteed a huge paycheck.

Back in March, Koepka admitted he did not “know where I’m going” once his contract ended.

Koepka took the golf world by storm several years ago, winning four majors in a two-year span. However, injuries derailed him for a long while after. Following a torn patella tendon, he lost his dominant form, winning just one event in a three-year span ahead of his move to LIV, often finding himself outside the cut line.

He joined LIV after a missed cut at the 2022 Masters and finishes of tied for 55th and 55th at the PGA Championship and U.S. Open that year. Koepka revitalized himself in 2023, winning the PGA Championship just a month after finishing tied for second at The Masters, which earned him a spot on that year’s Ryder Cup team.

However, his best finish in a major since 2024 was his T-12 at the U.S. Open this year at Oakmont. It was his only top-25 finish at a major in that span, and he missed the other three cuts.

YouTube star spends millions on rare card with big auction gamble, shares advice

YouTuber-turned-entrepreneur Logan Paul revealed he paid $5.3 million for a single Pokémon card and said young people shouldn’t feel locked into traditional investing paths like the stock market or homeownership.

“I paid $5.3 million for this card,” Paul, referring to the PSA Grade 9 Pikachu Illustrator card, said Tuesday on “The Big Money Show.”

Paul said that when he bought the PSA Grade 9 Pikachu Illustrator card in 2022, it became the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold, earning him a Guinness World Record. But Paul believes it’s a nontraditional investment he’ll make back when the card goes to auction in early 2026.

Paul rose to fame on YouTube alongside his brother Jake Paul and has since become a podcast host, a rising wrestling star in WWE and co-founder of the Prime energy drink brand with fellow YouTuber KSI. He is one of the most talked-about influencers in the world.

Paul argued that collectibles, such as Pokémon cards, have “outperformed” the stock market over the last two decades. With many young people noting they feel locked out of investing in things like real estate or the stock market, he said nontraditional assets could be their way in.

“If you have the money, don’t be afraid to take a risk, especially if you’re young,” said Paul.

“There are ways to spend and invest your money in ways that might mean more to you than the traditional conservative investment like the stock market,” he added, citing collectible cards, sports memorabilia and certain luxury goods.

Nontraditional assets have been growing in popularity among younger investors, with prices often driven by scarcity. Hermès Birkin and Kelly handbags, for example, have outperformed even gold in recent years, according to the New York Post.

Those luxury items rely on scarcity, with customers limited on how many they can purchase globally each year. That scarcity is what Paul said he’s hoping will drive value when his rare Pokémon card goes up for auction in February 2026.

“Being the rarest, most valuable card in the world, there’s only one of them,” Paul said, noting it carries the highest possible PSA grade.

Paul, who wore the card around his neck in a $75,000 chain, would not give the value he was hoping to get at auction. He did caution that not all collectibles hold their value long term. Paul said investors need to be careful about what they buy, explaining that he focuses on acquiring “the best of the best” items with extremely limited supply.

For San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, the team’s 48-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night at Lucas Oil Stadium meant a little more.

Bourne, 30, made an extra $500,000 during the game, as he hit one of his incentives in his contract during the second quarter, and Bourne knew it exactly as it happened.

Bourne, who caught quarterback Brock Purdy’s pass for 11 yards and a first down, got up and made a money-throwing gesture during his first-down celebration.

In September, Bourne signed a one-year, incentive-laden deal with the 49ers to provide some solid depth. Bourne spent the first four seasons of his career with the 49ers before signing with the New England Patriots going into the 2021 season.

The 30-year-old spent four seasons with the Patriots before coming back out to the West Coast.

NFL LEGEND, INSPIRED BY PHILIP RIVERS, THINKS HE COULD PLAY AGAIN AT 64

The veteran wide receiver has been exactly what the 49ers needed, as going into the season their wide receiver room was injured and Bourne stepped up. Earlier in the season, with wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall, Jauan Jennings, and tight end George Kittle all dealing with injuries, the 49ers’ depth was tested.

Bourne rose to the occasion, as he had back-to-back weeks with 142 receiving yards, becoming a reliable target for Mac Jones, who was playing for the injured Brock Purdy at the time. On the season, Bourne has 36 catches for 526 yards.

In the team’s win over the Colts, Bourne had three catches for 27 yards. The nine-year veteran will look to be a consistent option for Purdy when they play the Chicago Bears (11-4) on Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET in a key NFC matchup.
