The FBI was called Sunday after a loaded gun magazine was found on a Frontier Airlines plane at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

Just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday, officers assigned to the airport responded to a call about a gun magazine found near Frontier Airlines Gate C-6 in Concourse C, according to a news release from the Atlanta Police Department (APD).

A passenger on the Airbus A320 aircraft discovered what appeared to be a loaded magazine containing ten hollow point rounds near seat 7A, according to the release.

Police said the magazine, marked with the initials “K H,” was found during boarding for a turnaround return flight to Cincinnati.

Officers coordinated with TSA, DOA, Frontier Airlines, Homeland Security and Atlanta Police K-9 units, and the aircraft was evacuated, according to the release.

After a thorough search by officers, no additional items of concern were found.

TSA screened all passengers a second time, and the flight departed safely just before 8 p.m., according to officials.

The FBI was notified of the matter, according to APD.

“No active threats were indicated at this time,” the agency wrote in the release.

A Frontier Airlines spokesperson told affiliate FOX 5 Atlanta the ammunition belonged to a member of law enforcement who was on an earlier flight.

“Customers were asked to deplane while a security sweep of the aircraft was conducted, along with additional passenger screening prior to the flight’s departure,” the airline told the outlet. “A subsequent investigation confirmed that the ammunition belonged to a law enforcement officer who was on an earlier flight on the same aircraft. The ammunition and magazine were taken into the custody of the Atlanta Police Department, and the property owner was referred to Atlanta P.D. to retrieve his items.”

However, an APD source told FOX 5 investigators have not confirmed who the magazine belonged to.

“I’ve heard of a lot of delays, canceled flights, but I’ve never heard of this before,” passenger Terry Foster told the outlet. “This is brand new.”

Longtime civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson was hospitalized Wednesday, his organization announced in a statement.

Jackson, 84, was admitted to the hospital and under observation for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a rare neurodegenerative disease for which there is currently no cure.

The Rainbow PUSH Coalition, a progressive organization Jackson formed in 1996 by merging two groups he founded earlier, said he has been managing his PSP condition for more than a decade.

“He was originally diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease; however, last April, his PSP condition was confirmed. The family appreciates all prayers at this time,” the organization said.

Former prince under fire as Epstein emails expose truth about infamous photo

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, is facing increased scrutiny after the release of leaked emails that provide new insight into the embattled royal’s ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

On Tuesday, Democratic members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee made public tens of thousands of additional pages of documents from the estate of the late disgraced financier. Emails included in the files referenced Andrew in connection with Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexually abusing her on three separate occasions in 2001 when she was a teenager after she was trafficked by Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Andrew, who was recently stripped of his royal titles, has consistently denied Giuffre’s allegations and claimed he has no memory of meeting her. However, several emails included in the documents and obtained by the Telegraph and Sky News appeared to cast doubt on Andrew’s denials, including statements that he made during a 2019 interview on BBC’s “Newsnight.”

VIRGINIA GIUFFRE’S FAMILY CALLS ON KING CHARLES III TO STRIP PRINCE ANDREW AWAY OF HIS LAST REMAINING TITLE

In one email that Epstein sent to a journalist, he seemed to contradict a suggestion made by Andrew during the interview that a now-infamous photo showing the former prince with an underage Giuffre was fake.

The image, which allegedly showed Andrew with his arm around Giuffre’s waist and Maxwell in the background, was first made public in February 2011 and became key to the controversy surrounding the royal.

In the newly released correspondence, which was sent in July 2011, Epstein appeared to confirm the image’s authenticity and claimed “many” of his employees also took photos with Andrew.

According to Sky News, Epstein wrote, “The girl has fled the country with an outstanding arrest warrant. The da (sic) after she accused others, said in writing that she has no credibility, she was never 15 years old working for me, her story made it seem like she first worked for trump at that age and was met by ghislaine maxwell.”

“Total horses—, the daily mail paid her money, they admitted it, with the statement that it took money to coax out the truth.”

“Yes she was on my plane, and yes she had her picture taken with Andrew, as many of my employees have.”

“I have never misled you, this girl is a total liar, they (sic) authorities should check her australian immigration form… I will ask if they will cooperate – Prince people.”

PRINCE ANDREW ACCUSER VIRGINIA GIUFFRE FEARED SHE WOULD ‘DIE A SEX SLAVE’ IN JEFFREY EPSTEIN TRAFFICKING RING

In a 2015 federal lawsuit that Giuffre filed against Maxwell, she claimed that she met and was recruited by the socialite in the summer of 2000 when she was 16 and working as a spa attendant at President Donald Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.

In her posthumous memoir “Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice,” Giuffre — who died by suicide at the age of 41 earlier this year — provided further details about meeting Maxwell and how events unfolded afterward.

After leaving Jeffrey Epstein’s circle, Giuffre moved to Australia in 2002 and married Robert Giuffre. After her marriage, she gave up her maiden name of Roberts and took her husband’s last name.

During his interview with BBC, which was widely considered disastrous for the former prince, he addressed the infamous image, saying. “I have absolutely no memory of that photograph ever being taken.”

“Nobody can prove whether or not that photograph has been doctored but I don’t recollect that photograph ever being taken,” Andrew continued.

“From the investigations that we’ve done, you can’t prove whether or not that photograph is faked or not because it is a photograph of a photograph of a photograph,” he added.

PRINCE ANDREW TOLD JEFFREY EPSTEIN ‘WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER’ AFTER VIRGINIA GIUFFRE PHOTO SURFACED

Andrew also questioned his attire and the hand placement in the photo. He pointed out that he was wearing “travelling clothes,” which he said he wouldn’t have worn for the occasion. In addition, he queried whether the hand on the waist was his own and raised the possibility of photo editing.

In another 2011 email obtained by the Telegraph from the newly released files, Andrew appeared to express distress over the mounting public and media scrutiny over his relationship with Epstein and Giuffre’s allegations.

According to the outlet, a reporter from the Mail on Sunday emailed Epstein on March 4, 2011, to ask for comment on the relationship that he, Maxwell and Andrew had with Giuffre.

Per the outlet, Andrew appeared to reply directly to Maxwell after the email was forwarded to him, writing, “Hey there! What’s all this? I don’t know anything about this. You must SAY [sic] so please. This has NOTHING To do with me.”

“I can’t take any more of this.”

According to the Telegraph, Epstein responded to Andrew in a separate email chain.

PRINCE ANDREW BEING INVESTIGATED FOR ALLEGEDLY ASKING BODYGUARD TO GET ACCUSER’S PERSONAL INFORMATION: REPORT

“Just got it two minutes ago. I’ve asked g [sic] lawyers to send a letter,” Epstein wrote.

“Not sure… it’s so salcisous [sic] and ridiculous, im [sic] not sure how to respond, the only person she didn’t have sex with was Elvis,” he added.

Per Sky News, Epstein sent an email to his publicist in July 2011 in which he wrote of Giuffre, “The girl who accused Prince Andrew can also easily be proven to be a liar.”

“I think Buckingham Palace would love it. You should task someone to investigate the girl Virginia Roberts, that has caused the Queen’s son all this agro (sic)”

“I promise you she is a fraud. You and I will be able to go to ascot (sic) for the rest of our lives.”

Days after Andrew’s “Newsnight” interview aired in November 2019, Buckingham Palace announced that he would step back from public duties “for the foreseeable future.” He later lost his military titles and royal patronages, and corporate sponsors and charities cut ties with him and his initiatives.

Andrew did not admit liability but agreed to pay Giuffre an undisclosed sum and to make a donation to a charity supporting abuse victims.

In December 2021, Maxwell was found guilty of sex trafficking of a minor and conspiracy to entice and transport minors for illegal sex acts. She was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison in June 2022.

Days before Giuffre’s memoir was published on Oct. 21, Andrew released a statement in which he announced that he had relinquished his royal title, the Duke of York.

On Oct. 30, King Charles initiated a formal process to remove his brother’s remaining titles.

Ancient cult remains found at prophetic location mentioned in Book of Revelation

Ritual artifacts belonging to the Canaanites, an ancient people referenced in the Old Testament, were recently found in Israel — along with a 5,000-year-old winepress.

The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) announced the find near Tel Megiddo on Nov. 5. The excavation was carried out alongside the construction of Highway 66 in the Jezreel Valley.

Tel Megiddo is famously referenced in the Book of Revelation. The site is referred to as “Armageddon,” closely related to the Hebrew phrase “Har Megiddo,” which translates to “mountain of Megiddo.”

ARCHAEOLOGISTS UNCOVER 1,600-YEAR-OLD WINE FACTORY HIDDEN NEAR ANCIENT MOUNTAIN CASTLE

In terms of time frame, the finds ranged from Israel’s Early Bronze Age, around 3000 B.C., to the Late Bronze Age, about 1270 B.C.

The standout artifact was the rock-carved winepress, which officials described as the oldest ever discovered in Israel.

“This wine press is unique, one of very few known from such an ancient period when urbanization first took place in our region,” officials said in a statement.

“Until now, indirect evidence indicated that wine could have been produced 5,000 years ago, but we did not have conclusive proof of this. … [T]his wine press finally provides new and clear evidence that early wine production actually took place here.”

ANCIENT ESTATE TIED TO GROUP IN THE BIBLE UNEARTHED WITH ‘FASCINATING’ TREASURES IN ISRAEL

Archaeologists also found intriguing and fully intact evidence of a Canaanite folk cult dating back 3,300 years, including a ceramic model of a shrine and animal-shaped ritual vessels.

The IAA said the vessels “were carefully placed in the ground in an orderly burial as ritual offerings.”

“These included a miniature ceramic model of a shrine, storage jars, imported jugs and juglets from Cyprus, and a unique and impressive set of vessels, which was probably used for libations, or the ceremonial pouring of liquids,” the release said.

Historians believe it was used to pour valuable liquids — such as milk, oil or wine — into a funnel during ceremonies.

The burial locations suggest a folk cult operated outside the city, possibly comprised of local farmers who couldn’t enter the main temple

“[The finds] allow us to become acquainted with the daily life and beliefs of the region’s residents over the course of thousands of years.”

This allowed them to “offer consecrations of liquids or valuable agricultural produce,” the release said.

“Some of these offerings were discovered as intact pottery vessels buried next to a large rock outcrop, which may have served as an open-air altar outside the Canaanite city of Megiddo,” researchers said.

In a statement, officials said the recent excavation “revealed a new part of the matrix between the known settlements in the city.”

They added, “The 5,000-year-old hewn wine press places the beginnings of the local wine industry in a very early urban-settlement context, while the offerings from the period about 3,300 years ago indicate the continuity of ritual consecration and libations outside the sacred complex within the tell, possibly expressing aspects of the local Canaanite folk cult.”

Eli Escusido, IAA director, said the finds are “revealing, layer by layer, the wealth of history hidden and embedded in the soil here.”

He added, “The exposure of ancient wine-making facilities, and the evidence of folk worship outside of Megiddo, allow us to become acquainted with the daily life and beliefs of the region’s residents over the course of thousands of years.”

This isn’t the only recent discovery made at the Tel Megiddo site.

Earlier this year, archaeologists announced they’d found evidence of a biblical battle at the site.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, archaeologist Assaf Kleiman said pottery at the site suggested the presence of an Egyptian army, particularly the soldiers that defeated King Josiah.

“The exposure of so many Egyptian vessels, including fragments of serving bowls, cooking pots and storage jars, is an exceptional phenomenon,” said Kleiman.

“We, therefore, understand it as representing Egyptians who settled at Megiddo in the late 7th century, maybe as part of an army force that arrived at the site following the collapse of the Assyrian Empire.”

Former NFL star Cam Newton had a message for the Grambling State and Bethune-Cookman college football programs in the latest episode of his podcast after a brawl occurred among players from each team over the weekend.

The halftime melee resulted in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) handing out suspensions for 27 players, including three who were suspended for two games. Each program received thousands of dollars in fines as well.

Newton said on “4th & 1” that historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) were “set back” because of the fighting that occurred on the field.

“I despise the actions … I am extremely displeased with what took place. Why? It’s because make no mistake about it — I’ve spoken at length about equal opportunity,” Newton said. “We are sitting up here trying to get more access, more visibility, to amplify the platform of HBCUs. No matter if you in the MEAC, the SWAC, the SIAC, the OVC — or whatever conference you’re in — if you’re a representation of Blackness and Black culture, you should look at this and say to yourself, ‘This set us back.’”

Newton wondered what if the brawl took place on a major network that aired college football games and what the conversation would be around HBCU programs.

He added that, overall, the image was damaged as schools are trying to grow in terms of name, image and likeness deals and looking for sponsors.

The former Carolina Panthers quarterback star also took issue with Grambling State head coach Mickey Joseph’s initial comments after the brawl. Joseph initially said the school wasn’t going to tolerate “disrespect” and they’re “going to meet disrespect with disrespect.”

Joseph apologized and backtracked from his comments, but it still didn’t sit well with Newton.

“I can forgive you for what you said, I can never forget what you said,” Newton said. “It’s almost like, what are you apologizing for? Are you apologizing because someone above you said, ‘That’s not a good look and you gotta apologize for that.’ Or, are you apologizing because that’s how you really feel?

“Anybody in the SWAC, MEAC, SIAC, CIAA, OVC, I’m ticked off because it set us back, man. It set us back.”

The SWAC admonished the schools and the players that took part in the fight.

“We’re extremely disappointed by the events that transpired during halftime of the Bethune-Cookman at Grambling State football game,” SWAC Commissioner Dr. Charles McClelland said in a statement. “Acts of that nature have zero place in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and intercollegiate athletics.

Hundreds of criminal illegal aliens, many of whom are child sex predators, have been arrested in a 10-day operation across Florida, state and federal law enforcement officials announced Thursday.

Operation Criminal Return launched on Oct. 25 and resulted in the arrests of 230 criminal illegal immigrants, including those who are registered sex offenders and have extensive criminal histories, officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.

“This operation underscores President Trump and Secretary Noem’s determination to target and remove dangerous criminal alien predators from the United States,” said ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheahan. “Sanctuary cities that shield these criminals from accountability undermine the rule of law and jeopardize the safety of their residents.”

The operation, also dubbed Operation Dirtbag, targeted child predators, rapists, and violent criminal illegal immigrants with convictions that range from sexual assault of minors, rape, lewd and lascivious conduct, and child exploitation to battery and attempted homicide, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a press release.

Of the more than 230 criminal illegal immigrants arrested, 150 were sexual predators, DHS said.

Mayor vows to enforce gun rule despite judge ruling it unconstitutional in criminal case

A Georgia judge on Wednesday tossed out the case against a man who was cited for violating a Savannah city ordinance prohibiting guns in unlocked vehicles, ruling that the ordinance violates state law and the U.S. Constitution.

Clayton Papp was cited by Savannah police for violating the ordinance, which imposes fines and possible jail time for leaving guns in unlocked cars, in August 2024. His attorney asked the judge presiding over his case to throw out the citation.

The ruling by Chatham County Recorder’s Court Judge Brian Joseph Huffman Jr. likely only applies to Papp’s case, as he challenged the ordinance as part of his criminal defense.

Savannah’s mayor said the city will continue to enforce the rule.

FEDERAL APPEALS COURT APPROVES ILLINOIS RESTRICTIONS ON CARRYING GUNS ON PUBLIC TRANSIT

“We’ve had this in existence now for quite some time, and we have reduced the number of guns stolen from unlocked vehicles in Savannah,” Democrat Mayor Van Johnson told reporters.

Johnson has pushed the gun ordinance as a way to urge responsible gun ownership without infringing on their rights to own or carry firearms. He said on Wednesday that the number of guns stolen from unlocked cars reported to Savannah police dipped from more than 200 in 2023 to just over 100 this year.

Savannah’s City Council voted unanimously last year to prohibit firearms in unlocked vehicles, with violators subject to maximum penalties of a $1,000 fine and 30 days in jail.

Proponents of the measure argued that the law would make it harder for criminals to steal firearms in the Peach State, where Republican state lawmakers have made it easier to own and carry guns.

“Concerns over firearms stolen from vehicles and later used in violent crime are in fact concerning,” the judge said in his ruling. “Good intentions, however, do not immunize legislation from constitutional scrutiny.”

APPEALS COURT BLOCKS NEW MEXICO’S 7-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR GUN PURCHASES, SAYING IT VIOLATES 2ND AMENDMENT

Huffman Jr. threw out the case in a ruling on Wednesday that declared Savannah’s ordinance “void and unenforceable.”

The judge said the ordinance violates a state law that prohibits local governments from regulating “the possession, ownership, transport, (or) carrying” of firearms.

He also ruled that the ordinance “burdens conduct covered by the plain text of the Second Amendment.”

Georgia Republican Attorney General Chris Carr celebrated the ruling as “a major victory for law-abiding gun owners, who shouldn’t be punished for the actions of criminals [and] thieves.”

While the judge found that Savannah’s ordinance is illegal, the ruling likely only applies to Papp’s case because the challenge was raised as part of a criminal defense and not a broader lawsuit seeking an injunction to stop further enforcement, Anthony Michael Kreis, a Georgia State University law professor, told The Associated Press.

“In theory, the city could continue to enforce the ordinance and leave it to individual defendants to raise this question again as a defense,” Kreis said.

A separate lawsuit brought by another gun owner aiming to halt enforcement of the ordinance was dismissed last year by a different judge in Chatham County Superior Court, ruling that the gun owner in that case lacked standing to file the lawsuit because he was not a Savannah resident and had not been cited under the ordinance.

Conservative group defiant after serial attacks on right-wing campus orgs

The leader of a conservative group on the University of Iowa campus says his group is undeterred after a left-wing student allegedly went on a spree of destruction.

“To be honest, we’re not really surprised that this happened,” Brody Baker, chairman of the University of Iowa’s Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter, told Fox News Digital in an interview. “We’re kind of used to it at this point.”

Baker was referencing the recent alleged actions of Iowa student Justin Calhoon, who in the span of one week was arrested for flipping a YAF table and a Turning Point USA table on campus. Both incidents were caught on video.

Stemming from YAF table-flipping on Oct. 27, Calhoon, who was wearing a dress, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, fifth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree harassment, according to jail records.

ILLINOIS STATE TEACHING ASSISTANT FIRED AFTER TRYING TO FLIP TPUSA TABLE TWICE IN VIRAL CLASH

“Upon arrival, Defendant disrupted their assembly by flipping the groups [sic] table, made obscene gestures, and shouted profanity, including ‘s— my d—,’ while flipping off the group,” a criminal complaint from that incident says. The complaint also notes that some of YAF’s property was damaged.

On Nov. 5, Calhoon was arrested again on charges of disorderly conduct, just hours after he allegedly flipped a Turning Point USA table on campus, sending promotional materials flying, after the group offered him a hot chocolate. Jail records show he was arrested for two counts of disorderly conduct, fifth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of third-degree harassment.

“All the officers in town that speak to us know about this incident and every time something happens with us, they’re always very respectful with us,” Baker said. “And when we talk to them, we go, ‘you know, it’s the usual day in the neighborhood, someone’s trying to mess with us.'”

“But at the University of Iowa and under the college campuses, other chapters, we’re used to the stuff and we’re not gonna back down,” Baker later said.

YOUNG AMERICA’S FOUNDATION TABLE GETS TRASHED AT OSU BY PERSON WHO TELLS CONSERVATIVES TO ‘F— OFF’

In illustrating that aggressive behavior from the political left is a frequent occurrence on campus, Baker pointed to a 2023 event wherein YAF hosted conservative commentator Matt Walsh, who was promoting his film “What Is a Woman?”

“We have a lot of protesters outside our events. In the past, we had Matt Walsh here on campus,” he said.

“People were dumping marbles on the stairs so we couldn’t get into the event. People outside protesting, throwing batteries, some rocks from parking structures at the people just going to listen,” he said, noting that many apolitical people also attend YAF’s events simply to hear different perspectives.

The marble-dumping incident garnered national attention.

Despite the attacks, Baker and YAF have no plans to back down, and he even discussed his gratitude for the administration at the University of Iowa, which he said is sympathetic to the group’s concerns and treats YAF like any other campus organization.

“It builds character, standing up for your rights, standing up for your freedom,” he said. “I think that for us in general, it’s truly passionate, shows our patriotism and shows your dedication to your country and your group here on campus.”

“I stand side by side with anybody in my club, and we’ll defend them at any cost against people that are trying to physically assault us, physically abuse us, mentally abuse us,” he continued. “We’re there standing side by side. I want people to hear us.”

“I don’t care if you hate me. And I think the biggest thing is that if you hate me on campus, I’m doing my job well.”

In a statement to Fox News Digital, the University of Iowa reinforced its commitment to free speech and noted that the school hosts First Amendment training annually.

The university also said it takes campus safety seriously.

“Campus Safety welcomes conversations with event organizers ahead of time to help support a safe environment,” the school said. “The primary goal of Campus Safety during demonstrations is to protect free speech while ensuring the safety of both demonstrators and the community.”
