Fox News Channel host Mark Levin sat down with the former President Trump at Mar-a-Lago to discuss his new book, “Save America,” which is set to hit bookstores on Sept. 3.
The exclusive interview will air on Fox News Channel at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday and on Sunday.

Trump warned that a Harris presidency would include no fracking in pivotal battlegrounds, like Pennsylvania, saying that the Democratic nominee is a “radical left Marxist.”
“I call her comrade Kamala because she is radical left. She’s a radical left Marxist. And that’s what she is. And she’ll destroy our country,” he said. “There’s not going to be any fracking in Pennsylvania.”
“And for her whole life, she fought people like I’ve never seen anything like it…look at the way she fought Justice Kavanaugh. The viciousness and the violence,” he said. “She’s a Marxist.”

During the interview, Levin asked Trump if he received any note or call from Harris following the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.
“Did you get a call or a note, I’m just curious, from Kamala Harris?” Levin asked.
“No. Not that I know of,” Trump responded.
The former president noted that he received a phone call from President Biden following the would-be assassination.

Trump discussed the “terrible” mainstream media, reminiscing about his previous debate performance with Biden, which heightened calls for the current president to stop pursuing reelection.
“ABC is probably the worst in terms of fairness. George Flopadopalis… the people they have, they’re just terrible… Jonathan. Karl,” he said, speaking about his upcoming date with Harris in September. “I had to make a decision, I wanted to, and I like to debate.”

“I mean, I guess I’ve won a lot of debates because otherwise I wouldn’t have been president,” he said. “I had a lot of debates initially, and the last one with Joe Biden, I think I did a very good job. And, maybe I did too good a job, but he was shielded and sheltered from, you know… here’s a man that’s in charge of nuclear warfare and stuff. And I don’t think he should have been there, but that was a debate, and it was their idea. They wanted to do it. I said, you know, it’s early, but I’ll do it if you want. What do you want to do? And they gave me CNN. They gave me Jake Tapper, and they gave me Dana Bash, who traditionally you would never do it. You’d never do it with them because they’re Trump haters at the highest level. And CNN is a Trump hater.”

The former president also weighed in after Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that the Biden administration pressured the company to “censor” COVID-19 content during the pandemic and the scandal surrounding Hunter Biden’s laptop.
“It just came out today in the New York Post that, Zuckerberg listened to the administration and did everything he could to help them, including hiding the laptop from hell, which is Hunter Biden, which has more stuff in it than even they report now,” he said. “But the laptop from hell, they hid the 51 intelligence agents had a lot of different things.”
“It would have made a big difference in the election. So that’s election cheating right there,” he said.

The former president called SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk a “great friend,” saying that, despite “loving” electric cars, they are sustainable at this point in time.
“Elon’s a great friend of mine. I think he’s phenomenal. I love electric cars. I think they’re great,” Trump told Levin. “But there’s a place for them. And then there’s a place for gas-propelled cars. And there’s a place for hybrids.”

“They buy everything, and they have a mandate, but we don’t make enough electricity,” he said. “So what are they going to do? And who would create this mandate? Where they want to make trucks all electric, but the trucks would have to stop six times to get charged from New York to Los Angeles, as opposed to no times if you have diesel. With diesel, the truck gets lighter and lighter as it goes along. With electric, the battery is so big it would take half the payload.”
Harris has recently attempted to flip the script on her previously encouragement of an electric vehicle mandate, recently back tracking her strong support for a mandate.

Trump highlighted the illegal migrant crisis in the U.S., saying that criminals are coming and “destroying our country.”
“We have billions of people coming in, but hundreds of thousands of those people are criminals from Venezuela,” Trump said. “They take them off the streets of Caracas, and they bring them into our country.”
“And then they [Venezuela] announce a crime rate is way down. You know, that’s what they’ve done. Their crime rate is way down now, but they come from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and from South America. And they’re destroying our country.”
Trump slammed Harris for ignoring the immigration crisis at the recent Democratic National Convention (DNC).
“And when you watch her, like at the convention, oh, everything’s just peachy,” he said. “But migrant crime is turning out to be a disaster. Many, many people are killed and raped and mugged and everything else. These are tough people, but they let them out of jails.”

Trump weighed in on his relationship with China’s President Xi Jinping, saying that there has been “no greater critic of China than me.”
“I think there is no greater critic of China than me,” he said. “But I respected China and I respected President Xi and I had a great relationship with them.”
“They took advantage of us. And why shouldn’t they? I mean, if we were stupid enough to let them do it, they made hundreds of billions of dollars a year, $507 billion. And most years over that and now it’s more, and I had them down to a much smaller,” he said. “And I put massive tariffs on them. Nobody got any money from China, but I got hundreds of billions of dollars from China.”

Trump said that if he wins November’s election that he will have a good relationship with “everybody.”
” I think that we will have a good relationship. I’d rather have a good relationship with China,” he said. “And I’m saying this, and I hope that President Xi is watching, which he will in one form or another, whether it’s watching or he’ll be told.”
“But I think we’ll have a good relationship with China. And I think we’ll have a good relationship with everybody,” he said.
Two Jewish college students allegedly attacked with glass bottle on campus
A group of Jewish students at the University of Pittsburgh was allegedly attacked with a glass bottle, leaving two students injured, the university announced.
According to a statement from the Pennsylvania college, students were attacked near the Cathedral of Learning, a focal point on the Pittsburgh campus, around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Two students were injured in the attacks. The students, who were wearing traditional Jewish yarmulkes, were treated at the scene, the university said.

The alleged perpetrator, the university said, had no known university affiliation and was immediately arrested by Pitt Police.
The suspect was wearing a kaffiyeh, a traditional checkered scarf worn in the Middle East and increasingly displayed as a symbol of solidarity with Palestinians.
University leaders were in contact with the Hillel University Center as well as the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
The university condemned the attack, calling it “appalling.”
“To be clear: Neither acts of violence nor antisemitism will be tolerated,” the statement said. “Local and federal partners are supporting Pitt Police in this ongoing investigation.”
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said “antisemitism and hate-fueled violence of any kind has no place” in the community.
“No matter what you look like, where you come from, or who you do or do not pray to, you deserve to feel safe on your campus here in Pennsylvania,” Shapiro posted on X. “As an investigation proceeds, let me be clear: antisemitism and hate-fueled violence of any kind has no place in our Commonwealth.

Chicago Sky player fouls Caitlin Clark to the ground then posts the hate comments she got
Chicago Sky player Diamond DeShields committed a hard foul on Caitlin Clark that sent the rookie star to the floor Friday night.
During the Fever’s 100-81 win over the Sky, DeShields lost her footing and crashed into Clark.
DeShields held her hands up as she knocked into Clark in an attempt to avoid a foul, but it was called anyway due to the impact of the hit. Clark went flying forward across the hardwood. Then DeShields offered to help Clark up. The foul was later upgraded to a flagrant 1.
The clip of the foul drew criticism from many WNBA fans on social media.

After the game, DeShields posted a screenshot of her notifications list on Instagram, which included a string of hate comments from a user. The comments were about a tumor DeShields overcame in 2020. That year, she was diagnosed with a benign tumor on her spinal cord in 2020. She risked paralysis when she had it surgically removed and suffered painful tremors while recovering from the procedure, according to Yahoo Sports.
Over her screenshot of the comments, DeShields wrote, “Thank you God for covering me , I pray [you] cover those who wish harm unto me as well.”
DeShields’ foul on Clark prompted such a strong reaction on social media, the Chicago Sun-Times printed a full back page spread Saturday with a photo of the hit with the headline, “Foul Ball.”

The author of the article put out a statement distancing herself from the graphic.
“Let me be crystal clear: I do not choose headlines or back page photos for the Sun-Times,” Annie Costabile wrote on X. “The story I wrote was one about the Sky and Fever for that matter being two very different teams since the All-Star break.”
The incident was the latest in a string of hostile moments between Clark and members of the Sky this season.
Clark took an infamous illegal hip check from Chicago Sky forward Chennedy Carter June 1. Carter then refused to answer questions about the incident at the postgame press conference but used her social media to repeatedly criticize Clark.
“That’s that on that cause beside 3-point shooting what does she bring to the table man,” Carter wrote in reply to a post about her postgame press conference on Threads.
Clark took another questionable hit to the head from Sky rookie and longtime college rival Angel Reese June 16.
Sky coach Theresa Witherspoon even called out Clark publicly to the media, saying “nobody talks more crap than Caitlin” to reporters June 27.

ESPN women’s basketball commentator Holly Rowe said the harsh reception from teams like the Sky is a positive for both Caitlin and the WNBA as a whole.

Wildlife officials issue warning with two important tips after venomous snake found
Wildlife officials issued a warning in Somerset County, New Jersey, to be on guard for northern copperhead snakes after one of the species was seen last week in Watchung, a Garden State borough that’s less than an hour from New York City.
The northern copperhead snake is described as having two shades of copper or a reddish-brown color.
It “inhabits rocky fields, berry thickets, woodlands and farmlands and may even be discovered among old mulch piles,” said the N.J. Division of Fish and Wildlife in a “Snakes of New Jersey” publication.

This species is one of two venomous snakes found in New Jersey, according to the same source.
“There have always been copperheads in the northern half of New Jersey and most people who live in copperhead areas coexist with them without conflict, often without even realizing they are there,” said Tyler Christensen, a PhD candidate studying copperheads at Rutgers University’s Department of Ecology, Evolution and Natural Resources in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
“The best thing a resident can do is learn how to tell copperheads apart from more common nonvenomous snake species — such as water snakes, milk snakes and garter snakes — and understand how to respond if they see a copperhead.”
Although the warning was issued for New Jersey, the snakes are prevalent in other parts of the nation.

What else should people know about copperheads?
Copperheads are much less dangerous than their reputation suggests, Christensen told Fox News Digital.
“They are surprisingly calm and docile, relying on their camouflage rather than their venom to defend themselves from predators and humans,” he noted.
“A bite is usually delivered as a last-resort defensive effort, and their venom is mild relative to most vipers.”
How do these snakes hide in the outdoors?
These snakes often blend into their surroundings.
“Copperheads are extremely cryptic (i.e. camouflaged) so they can be very difficult to spot against a background of leaves, brush and twigs,” Scott L. Parker, PhD, professor and chair of the Department of Biology at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, told Fox News Digital.
“Don’t put your hands and feet anywhere where you can’t see them.”
Parker warned people to avoid touching or approaching copperhead snakes if these animals are seen or encountered.
“Copperheads don’t want anything to do with humans,” he said. They will not attack, and if left alone they will quickly try to escape.”
“To avoid accidentally getting bit, don’t put your hands and feet anywhere where you can’t see them, and always wear shoes and use a flashlight when walking outside at dusk or after dark in the summer.”

Parker also said, “Millions of people in the eastern U.S., especially in the Southeast, live in close proximity to copperheads and don’t even realize that they are close by.”
What’s the best way to stay safe?
To prevent possible encounters with copperheads, the University of Virginia provides these tips on its website:
- Wear boots when hiking and avoid open-toed footwear
- Use a flashlight at night when walking after sunset
- Know that banks of streams, rivers and lakes are common places where snakes can be found.
- Never touch or pick up a snake
If you encounter a copperhead in a natural setting, in most cases you should simply leave it alone, Christensen at Rutgers University recommended.
“Most bites occur when people try to handle or move the snake by themselves,” he added.

Mark Cuban polls followers on preferring their kids to be like Trump or Harris
Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban posed a question to his followers on X on Friday night in a currently-lopsided poll.
“Who’s persona and character would you like to see young children grow up to have?” Cuban wrote on a two-way poll with the two options being Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
Trump won the poll 68.9% to just 31.1% for Harris, with a total of 804,173 votes when the poll ended.

The poll prompted several responses from prominent political commentators and influencers on the platform. Former Republican candidate for Missouri Secretary of State Valentina Gomez, who lost earlier this month, was one of many high-visibility right-wing voices in the replies to criticize Harris’ professional history.

Cuban has been a vocal opponent of Trump dating back to the former president’s first bid for office. However, the billionaire sports mogul once sided with Trump.
Cuban has said he supported the former president when Trump initially launched his first presidential campaign in 2015. Cuban elaborated on his initial support of Trump during an interview with Vivek Ramaswamy on X on August 7.
“In 2015, I was like, ‘He’s great. He’s not a typical Stepford candidate. I thought that was a positive,” Cuban said. “A big part of that is I didn’t think he had a chance. I just wanted to kind of screw things up in traditional politics, which I’m not a fan of.”
The “Shark Tank” host even said he would consider being Trump’s running mate in the 2016 election in an interview with Business Insider in July 2015.
“I don’t care what his actual positions are,” Cuban also wrote of Trump in a post on his own social media app project “Cyberdust” in July 2015. “I don’t care if he says the wrong thing. He says what’s on his mind. He gives honest answers rather than prepared answers. This is more important than anything any candidate has done in years.”
Earlier this year, when Joe Biden was still the presumptive Democratic nominee, Cuban went so far as to say he would vote for Biden over Trump even if Biden were “being given his last rites.”
“If they were having his last wake, and it was him versus Trump, and he was being given last rites, I would still vote for Joe Biden,” Cuban told Bloomberg News in March.

Cuban has been quick to throw his support behind Harris since she became the presumptive nominee. He defended her proposed economic agenda in a thread of X posts on August 16, and even accused Trump of copying Harris’ policy when the former president declared that his presidency would be “great for women’s reproductive rights.”

San Francisco 49ers first-round draft pick Ricky Pearsall was reportedly shot during a robbery attempt in downtown San Francisco Saturday, Mayor London Breed confirmed.
“This afternoon, there was an attempted robbery in Union Square involving San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and he was shot,” Breed’s statement on X said. “SFPD was on scene immediately and an arrest of the shooter was made.
“My thoughts are with Ricky and his family at this time.”

The 49ers released a statement on the matter, saying that Pearsall is in “serious but stable condition.”

The San Francisco Fire Department told Fox News Digital two victims were discovered near Grant and Geary streets with possible gunshot wounds. The first 911 call came in at 3:38 p.m., and both victims were transported by paramedics to a hospital.
San Francisco Police Department added that “two male subjects suffering from injuries” were found at the scene. After receiving medical attention and being transported to a local hospital, they revealed their preliminary investigation findings.
“Officers learned one of the subjects attempted to rob the victim, San Francisco 49ers player Ricky Pearsall,” SFPD’s statement read. “During the attempted robbery, a physical altercation ensued, and both the suspect and victim were injured. The suspect is in custody and charges are pending at this time. All information is preliminary, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.”
Pearsall was the 31st overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the 49ers after a standout senior season at Florida, where he totaled 1,027 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games in 2023.
However, Pearsall missed a lot of the preseason due to a shoulder injury, which head coach Kyle Shanahan called a shoulder subluxation. Shanahan said his latest subluxation came on Aug. 6, but he was fighting through it during practice.

RFK Jr tells state to remove his name from ballot to avoid spoiling election — they say no
A week after Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. suspended his third-party presidential campaign and endorsed former President Trump, he filed a lawsuit against the North Carolina State Board of Elections to get his name removed from the state’s ballot before November.
When he suspended his campaign, Kennedy said he planned to keep his name on the ballot in safe Democratic and Republican states but didn’t want to be a spoiler in the battleground states.
Recent polls have shown a close race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in North Carolina.
Kennedy’s lawsuit comes not long after he had been trying to get on the North Carolina ballot over the summer by seeking signatures for his We the People party.

“With the November election looming and ballot deadlines fast-approaching, Kennedy has no choice but to turn to this Court for immediate relief,” his lawsuit said.
It added that the election board’s decision violated his speech and state election law, The Charlotte Observer reported.
Kennedy dropped out of the race and claimed he could still become president if neither Trump nor Harris reached 270 electoral votes. On Aug. 23, he joined Trump onstage at their first rally together.

“Don’t you want a president who’s going to protect America’s freedoms and who is going to protect us against totalitarianism?” Kennedy said at a rally in Glendale, Arizona.
“Don’t you want a safe environment for your children? Don’t you want to know that the food that you’re feeding them is not filled with chemicals that are going to give them cancer and chronic disease? And don’t you want a president that’s going to make America healthy again?”
Kennedy’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
