School shooting suspect’s ex-neighbors allegedly got move-in warning, emotional note
STATHAM, Ga – The former neighbors of the suspected Georgia high school shooter shared a glimpse into the family’s chaotic home.
Fox News Digital spoke with the neighbors of 14-year-old Colt Gray in Statham, Georgia, a small town of approximately 2,000 residents, where the family of the suspected shooter lived until they sold the home in Sep. 2019.
The current owners of Gray’s former home, who spoke with Fox News Digital anonymously, said that the home on nearly 8 acres of land was in disarray when they bought it in 2019.
Fox News Digital on Saturday sought comment from the public defenders representing Colt Gray and Colin Gray.

The current neighbor said that Marcee Gray warned his family and their realtors of Colin’s volatile mood the day of the move.
“The day we were closing on the house, I was standing with my wife and our relator, and Marcee came up to us and told us to not make eye contact with Colin, they called him Coly,” the neighbor said. “Mauree said that he was in a mood, and she didn’t know what he would do.”
“But when he came in, he was as high as can be,” he said. “Red, glassy eyes. He didn’t bother anyone, but didn’t really interact either.”
The neighbor said that during the move in process the kids, including Colt, “were left on their own.”
“There was not much supervision,” he said.
The neighbor showed Fox News Digital where the Gray family measured the growth of Colt prior to the parents’f tumultuous divorce.

The growth chart showed Colt Gray’s progress through the years, with the family taking notes in 2017-2019.
Other neighbors corroborated stories of Colin Gray’s volatile mood, with one elderly neighbor sharing a heartbreaking story of her brief interaction with Marcee Gray.
“It was during the day, but I was home by myself and I saw her [Marcee] running up our driveway,” the elderly neighbor recounted. “And she had a child in her hands, and she ran towards our barn in the back and tried to get in. And all of a sudden, I see her husband, in a truck, driving on up and start running towards our barn building.”
“Marcee tried to get into the barn building, but it was locked, and when I saw him [Colin] running towards her, I came outside and yelled, ‘What is going on here?’ and he looked up and turned around and left real fast.”
“When she left the building, I told her, ‘I’m here if you need me,'” the neighbor said. “And she thanked me and I never saw her again.”
The next day, the elderly neighbor was greeted by an unexpected note on her front door.
“It read, ‘Thank you. You saved my life.'” she said. “And it was signed, Marcee.”
Another neighbor shared that Colt was an unusually “bright and witty” child.

“We gave Colt and his sibling, there was only two at the time, a ride on our horse,” the neighbor said. “He was 7 or maybe 8 at the time. And really smart and witty. Really cute kids.”
Following the selling of the Statham, Georgia home, the Gray family appeared to spiral, with the parent’s subsequent divorce separating the three children. Colt went to live with his father, while the two younger siblings initially lived with their mother.
Following the divorce, Colin and Colt Gray rented two homes in Jefferson, Georgia until their move to Winder, Georgia. The Winder, Georgia rental was where Colt and Colin were living at the time of the heartbreaking Apalachee High School shooting.
Four people were killed and nine were injured during the shooting on Wednesday, Sept. 4. The two students killed in the shooting were identified as Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14. Math teachers Richard Aspinwall and Christina Irimie were also killed, officials say.

The shooting was first reported at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The sheriff’s office received an alert of reports of an active shooter at 10:20 a.m.
GBI director Chris Hosey said law enforcement was at the scene “within minutes.”
“Law enforcement had a very, very swift response to this incident,” Hosey previously said.
The 14-year-old is being tried as an adult and is being charged with four counts of murder. He is accused of using a semiautomatic AR-style rifle to carry out the shooting.
His father, Colin Gray, faces related charges in the latest attempt by prosecutors to hold parents responsible for their children’s actions in school shootings.

“You don’t have to have been physically injured in this to be a victim,” District Attorney Brad Smith told reporters on Friday. “Everyone in this community is a victim. Every child in that school was a victim.”
WNBA rookie Angel Reese announces her season is over after injury
Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese announced on X that her season is over due to an injury on Saturday night after being declared questionable for the team’s upcoming game against the Dallas Wings with a wrist issue.
“I’m filled with emotions right now that I have a season-ending injury, but also filled with so much gratitude for what is next. Although this is God’s timing and not mine, I am finally able to give myself a physical and mental break. ‘God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers,’” Reese wrote.
Reese finishes her rookie year with an unprecedented number of rebounds. In just her first year, without even finishing the full season, Reese broke the record for most rebounds in a single WNBA season and the record for most rebounds per game with 13.1.

Reese broke the single-season record in the Sky’s 79-74 loss at Minnesota on Sept. 1, when she surpassed Sylvia Fowles’ record of 404 set in 2018. Fowles beat the record by one just a year after Jonquel Jones recorded 403. Reese accomplished the feat in just 23 games.
Reese was considered the biggest challenger to fellow rookie star Caitlin Clark for the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year award. Former NBA All-Star Joakim Noah even told Fox News Digital he would vote for Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese over Clark for Rookie of the Year if he had a say.
“When I look at her play, she reminds me a lot of myself,” Noah said.
Clark has put up the better averages in terms of points, assists, steals, blocks and every major shooting percentage category. Clark broke the Fever’s single-season record for assists in a loss to Minnesota on Friday.
But Reese did have a drastic advantage in terms of rebounds. With 13.1 rebounds per game, Reese more than doubled Clark’s current 5.8 per game.
In head-to-head matchups this year, the Fever have beaten the Sky three out of four times. In two of those matchups, Reese put up more points than Clark while putting up more rebounds than Clark in all four meetings. Clark put up more assists in all four meetings.

Prior to her season-ending injury, Reese spoke about her rivalry with Clark in the first episode of her podcast on Thursday. Reese expressed tremendous respect for Clark and that they have no ill-will toward each other despite a heated rivalry that dates back to their college careers, when Clark was at Iowa and Reese was at LSU.
However, Reese spoke out against Clark’s passionate fans and claimed they have harassed her.
“I think it’s really just the fans, her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans, that are really just, they ride for her, and I respect that, respectfully. But sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes to it,” Reese said.
Reese went on to list death threats and people coming right to her home as an alleged example of a measure Clark’s fans have taken in response to their rivalry.

“People have come down to my address, followed me home, it’s come down to that,” Reese said.
Reese even alleges that some fans have made AI-generated images of her, depicting her without clothes on, and sent them to her family members.
“Multiple occasions, people have made AI-images of me naked. They have sent it to my family members. My family members are like uncles, sending it to me like, ‘Are you naked on Instagram?’” Reese said. “It sucks having to go through that and see other players have to go through that.”
After Clark was drafted with the first pick in the WNBA Draft this past year by the Indiana Fever, Reese was selected seventh overall by Chicago. Reese and Clark were the only rookies to be named to the WNBA All-Star Game in July.
Caitlin Clark struggles to ‘control emotions’ after taking hits, not getting fouls called
Caitlin Clark didn’t get the foul calls she was looking for during the Indiana Fevers’ 99-88 loss to the Minnesota Linx on Friday.
After the game, Clark referred to instances in which she was hit by opposing players but refs didn’t blow the whistle. Clark said those moments had an emotional impact on her that she hopes to control better.
“I thought I got fouled a couple times there in the second half on mid-range jump shots,” Clark said. “It happens. Sometimes they get calls, sometimes they don’t. It is what it is. I think I settled a little bit too much for mid-ranee jump shots, but I thought I got bumped a little bit, and I was honestly trying to shot-fake them to get them to foul me.
“I mean, I think I could have done a little bit better of a job controlling my own emotions.”

But Clark added that she doesn’t believe her emotions need to change.
“I think there’s a line and sometimes your passion, your emotion can get to you,” Clark said. “But that’s never something I would ever change or anybody on our team would change.”
At one point in the game during the third quarter, Clark got knocked to the floor by Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier. Collier’s arms appeared to hit Clark in the upper head and shoulder area when Clark tried to score in the paint.
The officials did not call a foul on Collier, and Clark lay on the floor with her arms spread out to her sides.
Clark didn’t have any urgency in getting back up, and the Lynx made it down the court on a fast break and scored. That score put the Fever in a 10-point hole that they never dug out of.
Clark’s coach, Christie Sides, addressed the incident after the game, too.
“When she’s upset or mad — that’s what we’ve been working on, trying to figure out how to get past those moments,” Sides said. “She’s got to learn that, in those moments, I need my point guard to have a cool head, get us in whatever we need to be in offensively, and if it’s not a foul call that you thought, you have to get back.”
“There’s a reaction to all of our actions, and we have to make sure we don’t put ourselves in a worse spot with those kind of moments.”
Clark has had to manage her emotions quickly since coming to the WNBA with regard to hard fouls.
Last week, Chicago Sky player Diamond DeShields sent Clark flying across the floor for a foul that was later upgraded to flagrant-1. After the game, DeShields posted a screenshot of her notifications list on Instagram, which included a string of hate comments from a user.
Clark took an infamous illegal hip check from Chicago Sky forward Chennedy Carter on June 1. Carter refused to answer questions about the incident at the postgame press conference but used her social media to repeatedly criticize Clark.

Former NBA All-Star Joakim Noah believes the Fever should look to address the issue by signing a player who can dish the punishment back against opponents who are too physical with Clark.

“If I was the owner of the Indiana Fever, I would get a real enforcer in there to protect her,” Noah told Fox News Digital during an interview at “NBA Night” in the Emirates Suite at the U.S. Open in New York on Wednesday.
Noah acknowledged that Clark may be getting hit by opposing players because they are aware of the talent she brings as a difference-maker on the court.
“Sometimes I feel like she is getting hit because she is a very talented person,” he said. “But at the end of the day, we’re in the business of winning games, so if I’m the owner [of the Indiana Fever], I’m getting a real enforcer in there.”
However, Noah believes that the physical treatment Clark has received has been great for the WNBA.
“I think it’s great,” Noah said when specifically asked about the fouls that have occurred against Chicago. “I think it’s all entertainment.”

ESPN broadcaster Holly Rowe issued a similar sentiment to Noah’s in an interview with Fox News Digital last month.
“I think it’s good for the game,” Rowe said. “I kind of love it because it is supposed to be salty, that’s why it’s competitive, that’s why it’s sports.”
Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley spoke out against the players who have undermined the positive attention Clark’s rookie season has brought to the WNBA this year during an appearance on the “Bill Simmons Podcast” on Wednesday.
“These ladies, and I’m a WNBA fan, they could not have f—ed this Caitlin Clark thing up even worse if they tried,” Barkley said on the show. “This girl is incredible,” Barkley said. “The number of attention, eyeballs, she’s brought to college and the pros, and for these women to have this petty jealousness, and you’re saying to yourself, ‘Damn, what is going on here?'”

Popular YouTube firearms expert Paul Harrell announced his own death from pancreatic cancer at the age of 58 in a posthumous video.
The late U.S. Army and Marine Corps veteran, who was known for his gun reviews, firearms instruction videos and 2nd Amendment advocacy, shared the heartbreaking update in final message to his fans that was uploaded to his YouTube channel Tuesday by his manager, Brad Nelson.
In the six-minute clip, which Harrell said was recorded on Dec. 20, 2023, he was seen sitting on a log in the woods with a crutch lying beside him.
“If you’re watching me, I’m dead,” Harrell began in the video, which was titled “I’m Dead.”
He continued, “Now a few months ago I sat here on this log, and told you I’d been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I told you they caught it early and we were going to be here for some time. Well, we did catch it early but not as early as I had thought.”
Harrell noted that his fans had previously seen him using his crutch in his videos and he had explained that he recently broke his hip.
“Well, I did break my hip, but it wasn’t because I was in any kind of accident.It was because the cancer spread to my bones,” Harrell shared. “The bones just crumbled, my hip fractured, and I fell down.”
“My time is drawing short,” he added.
Harrell went on to thank his fans for supporting him through Patreon and asked that they continue to do so for awhile since he hoped his brother and other members of his crew would pick up his torch and create content for the channel.
“My goal in doing all of this was, yes, to have fun, do some things that were fun, but primarily to put out useful information,” he explained. “Or if not useful at least interesting information.”
“And what I really hope is that as you’re watching me, you’ve seen some things that have made you say, ‘Oh, I get it, OK.’ Things that have made you change something you did in such a way that has helped you,” he continued. “I would really hope that seeing the reviews we’ve done of things have saved you some money, kept you from buying things that probably wouldn’t have been a good fit for you. And if those things have happened, then we’ve met our goal”

“I guess the final line, I have not really rehearsed this, is that I’m really glad to have had the opportunity to do all of the stuff that we’ve done,” he added as he became emotional. “I really hope it’s been helpful and I really appreciate you watching, commenting and participating, and I have probably very few regrets in what we’ve done here.”
“I think we’ve been, for the most part, successful. I hope you agree. So, as always, don’t try this at home. And thanks for watching.”
After Harrell concluded his message, the video cut to his brother Roy E. Harrell, Jr., who shared that he was “heartbroken” to confirm the content creator’s death.
“It was his wish that I maintain his legacy through this channel,” Roy said. “He will remain an inspiration to us all.”
Nelson appeared next in the video as he introduced himself to Harrell’s viewers that may not know him, noting that he had worked behind-the-scenes with the gun expert since the channel was “very small.”
“I had the great privilege of having Paul in my life and having him as a friend,” Nelson said. “He’s very generous and kind guy, and he told the best campfire stories. He’s positively influenced many people’s lives, including my own, and I’m very grateful for that.”
“We are going to be continuing his legacy by uploading videos on this channel eventually, and continuing to educate people the way that Paul did,” he said. “But you can continue his legacy as well by sharing your knowledge with other people and your enthusiasm for firearms in the outdoors.”
“And just by being curious and striving to learn new things like Paul did.”
After the clip was posted, Harrell’s fans took to the comments section to thank him for educating his viewers about gun safety and using his platform to advocate for gun owners’ rights.

The American University historian who has correctly predicted the outcomes of nine of the last ten presidential elections tells Fox News Digital that the Democrats “finally got smart” by rallying around Kamala Harris as their candidate – and that is one of the reasons why he thinks she will be November’s winner.
The formula Allan Lichtman has used to correctly predict nearly every presidential race since 1984, his “Keys to the White House,” was developed in 1981 with mathematician Vladimir Keilis-Borok and is based on their analysis of presidential elections dating back to 1860. The “keys” consist of 13 true or false questions, parameters that, if true, favor stability.
“The way it works is real simple. If six or more keys — any six — go against the White House party, they are predicted losers. Otherwise, they’re predicted winners,” Lichtman told Fox News Digital this week. “And by the way, this also led to a prediction of Donald Trump’s win, which made me virtually alone in making that prediction in 2016.”
Lichtman says the Democrats represented by Harris could lose five keys “at most” and that is why he is predicting that “we are going to have a precedent-breaking election and Kamala Harris will become the first woman President of the United States.”

But the Democrats finally got smart and united behind Harris and that preserved the contest key. That means the shift only cost them one key.”

Kamala Harris made a campaign stop on Saturday at a spice shop known to openly discriminate against Republicans while calling for an end to political “divison.”
The spice shop, Penzeys Spices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, welcomed the Democrat nominee to browse the store and meet some supporters.
While facing a gaggle of reporters, Harris claimed, “It’s time to turn the page on the divisiveness. It’s time to bring our country together, chart a new way forward.”

For contrast, the “About Us” page on the Penzeys website features only 461 words, including “We are trying to make the world a better place.”
HARRIS FLIPS ON ANOTHER POLICY POSITION: BANNING PLASTIC STRAWS
Part of the “About Republicans” page on their site, penned by CEO Bill Penzey, informs Republicans they can shop elsewhere: “Going forward we would still be glad to have you as customers, but we’re done pretending the Republican Party’s embrace of cruelty, racism, Covid lies, climate change denial, and threats to democracy are anything other than the risks they legitimately are.”
“If you need us to pretend you are not creating the hurt you are creating in order for you to continue to be our customer, I’m sad to say you might be happier elsewhere,” reads the Penzeys Spices website.
Penzeys recently launched an advertisement campaign for their “Justice” spice blend directed at former President Donald Trump, saying “Re-Indicted and it Feels So Good!”
“Sorry Kamala, ‘Scary Spice’ is already taken!” said Former President Trump’s campaign in response to Kamala’s visit.
Penzeys Spices CEO Bill Penzey is no stranger to controversy. In 2022, he came under fire for renaming Martin Luther King Jr. Day to “Republicans Are Racist Weekend!”
The spice brand lost 40,000 subscribers in January 2022 according to the Penzeys Spices Facebook page for the stunt, but did not offer an apology.

Elon Musk makes bold prediction on when SpaceX will send crewed flight to Mars
SpaceX founder Elon Musk made bold predictions about human life on Mars in a series of social media posts on Saturday.
Writing on X, Musk made the forecasts in response to a post by Bill Ackman promoting a “Make America Healthy Again” ad posted by Robert F. Kennedy’s former running mate Nicole Shanahan.
“Without our health and that of our children, we have nothing,” Ackman wrote. “And for those who care about our economy, national debt, and deficits, there is no more important initiative.”
Musk used Ackman’s tweet as a jumping-off point to discuss how colonizing Mars could improve humanity.

“It is a little cold, but we can warm it up,” SpaceX’s website notes. “Its atmosphere is primarily CO2 with some nitrogen and argon and a few other trace elements, which means that we can grow plants on Mars just by compressing the atmosphere.”
