Despite the propaganda media’s best efforts, the economy is preventing Vice President Kamala Harris from breaking through with the American people.
No matter how much puffed, positive coverage the media gives her, she can’t seem to establish a clear lead.
The vice president’s great burden is Bidenomics – and more precisely its impact on the economy for which she is partly responsible.

On the rare occasion when Harris allows someone to publicly ask her about the economy, she gives strange answers. During the ABC News presidential debate, David Muir asked her “when it comes to the economy do you believe Americans are better off than they were four years ago?” Harris said she “was raised a middle class kid” and gave a clumsy biographical answer which included zero policy.
A few days later – during her only interview since the debate – her response to a question from anchor Brian Taff about her specific plans for the economy was better memorized, but equally unresponsive.
She said, “I’ll start with this. I grew up a middle-class kid. My mother raised my sister and me. She worked really hard. She was finally able to save up enough money to buy our first house when I was a teenager. I grew up in a community of hard-working people, construction workers, and nurses and teachers. I try to explain this to some people who may not have the same experience. You know, a lot of people will relate to this. I grew up in a neighborhood of folks who were very proud of their lawn.”
I’m not surprised she can’t answer direct questions about her economic plan. It’s likely one that we already have – it’s what she and President Joe Biden call Bidenomics.
For nearly four years, she and Biden have been claiming that Bidenomics would bring down the cost of living, invest in infrastructure, empower families, and make life better for all Americans.
It simply hasn’t.
Yet, these are the same claims she makes about her mystery plan on the campaign trail.
Rasmussen Reports this week found that only 20% of Americans wanted policies in general to stay the same. Nearly three-out-of-four (73%) want change.
Only 23% said economic conditions were improving (5% said things were much better and 18 percent said they were somewhat better). By contrast, 52% said things were getting worse (26% said much worse and 26 percent said somewhat worse).

In parallel, Scott Rasmussen (a separate polling outfit) reported that only 26% of Americans thought the economy was excellent or good (5% said excellent, 21% good). A full 74% rated the economy poor (26 percent) or only fair (48%).
If you are the candidate of the incumbent White House party, and only a quarter of Americans think the economy is good or improving, you have a huge problem.
Pablum about your childhood is not the answer Americans want to hear.
Being on video saying you would shut down fracking your first day in office (which would kill more than 105,000 jobs in Western Pennsylvania) just compounds your problem.
Finally, no matter how often the propaganda media puffs Vice President Harris up, Americans go to the grocery store every day. They are always reminded that the Biden-Harris administration has made everything too expensive.

Fetterman forced to admit hard truth about Trump’s influence in key battleground state
Former President Donald Trump has a “special” connection with the people of Pennsylvania, Democratic Sen. John Fetterman warns.
Fetterman made the observation during a conversation with The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg during the 2024 Atlantic Festival on Thursday.
“Trump has created a special kind of hold within the coronet he’s remade – the party – and he has a special kind of place in Pennsylvania, and I think that only deepened after the first assassination attempt,” Fetterman said.

A Thursday poll from the Washington Post had Harris at 48% support among likely and registered voters, while Trump sits at 47%. A New York Times poll gave Harris a slightly larger lead, with the vice president sitting at 50% compared to Trump’s 46%.
Fetterman expressed skepticism of Harris’ reported lead in Pennsylvania on Thursday, comparing the situation to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s seven-point lead in Pennsylvania that ultimately collapsed on Election Day during her failed 2016 presidential bid.
“Everybody thought that it was in the bag, but that’s not the energy and the other kinds of things that were really consistent with what I’m witnessing all across,” Fetterman recalled. “And then, sadly, we saw what happened.”

“I think it’s important to indict the Russians just as Mueller indicted a lot of Russians who were engaged in direct election interference and boosting Trump back in 2016,” the former presidential hopeful told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Monday. “But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda and whether they should be civilly, or even in some cases, criminally charged, is something that would be a better deterrence.”
Turley fired back at Clinton, accusing her, alongside other critics, of trying to abuse her power by censoring Americans’ right of freedom of speech.

Another iconic American company rolls back DEI policies as criticism intensifies
Heavy equipment maker Caterpillar is making changes after reviewing its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies amid mounting scrutiny of such initiatives at corporations around the country.
A memo sent by Caterpillar executives to the company’s employees that was reviewed by FOX Business explained that the DEI changes include requiring that all corporate training be oriented to focus on business operations, as well as requiring approval from senior leaders for bringing in external speakers or participating in external surveys and awards.
The changes come as anti-DEI activist Robby Starbuck said he had been in discussions with the company about his plans to “expose their woke policies” which resulted in the preemptive changes, which he outlined in a social media post.
Caterpillar said in the memo that going forward, “All training, both formal and informal, must be focused on our business and designed to foster high performance and execution of our enterprise strategy.”
MOLSON COORS SCRAPS ‘WOKE’ DEI POLICIES IN GROWING TREND AMONG US COMPANIES
The company explained the policy change regarding participation in external surveys and award processes, noting that most “require extensive company resources, including employee time.”
“The decision to participate in a survey or apply for an award must be focused on our business objectives and approved in writing by the responsible Senior Vice President, Group President and Chief Human Resources Officer,” Caterpillar leaders wrote.
Similar requirements will be in place for bringing in an external speaker to talk to Caterpillar employees, as the company will now require approval from senior vice presidents who are “responsible for ensuring that speakers are properly vetted and the content aligns to our enterprise strategy and purpose.”

Caterpillar is also planning to issue new guidelines for its Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). The company’s website lists a variety of ERGs available to its employees who share similar life experiences or interests, including ERGs for employees based on racial and ethnic background; gender identity and sexual orientation; disability; veteran status; healthy living and physical activity; as well as for younger workers and experienced professionals.
“Our ERGs exist to foster an inclusive culture through internal networking, mentoring and development opportunities in support of our enterprise strategy,” Caterpillar wrote. “To ensure this focus, new ERG guidelines will soon be distributed that govern external sponsorships and donations, external speakers, training, and more. All ERGs will remain open to all employees.”

Caterpillar’s move comes as other major corporations have rolled back aspects of their DEI policies amid blowback over “woke” policies.
Ford announced last month that it would make changes to its ERGs and that it would not publicly comment on polarizing political issues, as well as telling the workforce that it does not use quotas in hiring.
Molson Coors said earlier this month that it was doing away with DEI training now that all employees had completed it. It also announced it would scrap its defined supplier diversity goals and, starting next year, will remove “aspirational representation goals” from its executives’ compensation plans.

Both Ford and Molson Coors ended their participation in the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, which is an annual survey and report used to gauge “policies, practices and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) employees” compiled by the progressive Human Rights Campaign. Caterpillar stopped participating in the HRC’s index last year.
Starbuck said in posts on X that he had corresponded with both companies about their DEI policies in advance of the changes being announced.

Bizarre twist in executive’s slaying case as explosive email to ex-wife goes public
Slain Microsoft employee Jared Bridegan and his murder suspect ex-wife, Shanna Gardner, exchanged contentious emails in 2017 regarding finances, child therapy and their divorce, according to redacted documents published earlier this month.
Bridegan was fatally shot in front of his car after coming across a tire in the middle of a secluded road on Feb. 16, 2022, which prosecutors believe was a setup orchestrated by Gardner and her now-husband, Mario Fernandez Saldana, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. His then-2-and-a-half-year-old daughter was in the back seat at the time.
The documents obtained by Fox News Digital through a records request detail some of the items police collected from Gardner’s West Richland, Washington, home while serving a warrant in February 2023, including phones, an Apple Watch, multiple laptops and other electronic items. Gardner would not be arrested until six months later, in August 2023.
A child who was home at the time of the search told police that their mother kept her “important” electronics in her “bedroom closet,” and then whispered “up above” to the office while pointing toward the ceiling, documents show.

The documents also contain redacted photographs of heated emails exchanged between Bridegan and Gardner from April and May 2017.
In April 2017, Gardner told Bridegan she was sending their children to therapy and they “are caught in the crossfire of living between two houses.” In another email, Gardner criticized Bridegan for not prioritizing the therapy sessions or giving “financial help for it,” despite agreeing that their two children needed therapy.

Bridegan, in turn, said he “will not pay for things you and I do not agree to prior.”
The two exchanged other heated phrases in their emails back-and-forth. Gardner told Bridegan to move “that self righteous pedestal of yours in front of a mirror.” Bridegan asked Gardner, “[W]hy are you ashamed of who you really are, why cover up all your tattoos in court, why not be proud of the person you have become?” He also accused her of mismanaging money and calls her a “retard.”

In May 2017, Bridegan promised his ex-wife that she would not “find happiness by tearing” his family down.
“You cannot bring us down as a family.”
“[Redacted] will be raised in a Christ centered home. You will not thwart this,” he wrote. “You cannot bring us down as a family. I realize you live a life without the Spirit, without the Priesthood, and without the blessings of the Temple. You won’t find happiness by tearing us down. I won’t allow you to.”

Gardner and Fernandez-Saldana are accused of paying $150,000 to accused hitman Henry Tenon, Fernandez-Saldana’s former tenant, to kill Bridegan. Tenon is accused of ambushing and fatally shooting Bridegan in Jacksonville Beach on Feb. 16, 2022.
Both Gardner and Fernandez-Saldana have pleaded not guilty in connection with Bridegan’s murder. Tenon pleaded guilty to pulling the trigger and agreed to testify against the other suspects.

Female Russian lawmakers, including politicians Anna Kuznetsova and Zhanna Ryabtseva joined in on the push by encouraging women to maximize their childbearing years by starting families once they turn 18.
One Russian Member of Parliament, Tatyana Butskaya, even encouraged employers to monitor the birth rates of their female staff members, reported Sky News Australia.
Women in Moscow between the ages of 18 and 40 are also being encouraged to receive fertility testing.
“This new push for more Russian babies is consistent with the Russian government’s previous initiatives to improve demographics and increase the size of the future workforce,” former DIA intelligence officer and author of “Putin’s Playbook,” Rebekah Koffler, told Fox News Digital. “While the Kremlin portrays Russia’s declining birth rates in Russia as ‘disastrous,’ in reality Russia’s demographics is not much different from those of most industrial countries.”

The UN estimates that Russia’s population, which currently sits around 140.8 million, will fall by 10 million by 2054.
The United States Census Bureau reports that the number of children per woman in Russia is currently 1.5, though a birth rate of 2.1 is needed to sustain its current population rate, according to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, as reported by Newsweek.

A new trend that’s emerging on TikTok is sparking a viral debate among travelers.
The coined “airport tray aesthetic” has people taking out their belongings and strategically placing them to be filmed or photographed inside the plastic trays used in TSA security checkpoint lines.
A woman on TikTok, who posts under the handle @vickirutwind, filmed various shots of her TSA tray as she was traveling to different locations and posting from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

A TSA spokesperson told Fox News Digital via email that the agency is aware of the trend.

Not all influencers appear to be filming while waiting in line. Some are seen recording content after they pass a security checkpoint while others are filming at home, according to several TikTok videos.
A user commented, “lol people have their own trays from amazon and they take these pics at home, just fyi.”
Some social media users called out others for flexing their luxury items and questioned whether it was sanitary.

“Those bins never been cleaned. It’s giving infectious disease and not very mindful,” said another.
A study published in the journal BMC Infectious Diseases said that the highest frequency of respiratory viruses at airports were found on plastic trays.
