Rogan says the ‘greatest media psy-op in history’ was waged against Trump
Joe Rogan argued that the establishment media that once was friendly to President-elect Donald Trump has since been engaged in a years-long “psy-op” to convince Americans he is dangerous.
“The Joe Rogan Experience” is one of the world’s most popular podcasts, and Rogan is seen as having been one of the key players in the 2024 election, for interviewing Trump and then endorsing his bid for the presidency in the 11th hour. The podcaster has since mocked the media for losing their credibility with voters and alienating lifelong liberals like himself.
On Thursday’s episode, with comedians Shane Gillis, Mark Normans, and Ari Shaffir, Rogan recalled how friendly people in entertainment and the media once were to Trump, playing clips from his 2012 appearance on “The View” where he was cheered, as well as when he went on Oprah in and she asked him about running for president.
Since then, “The View” has become a frequent source for apocalyptic takes about Trump, and Oprah shredded him while campaigning with Vice President Kamala Harris. Rogan argued that the abrupt shift in tone toward Trump has been shocking in retrospect, “What we saw is the greatest media psy-op in history.”
HARRIS DISAPPEARS FROM SPOTLIGHT, VACATIONS IN HAWAII AFTER ELECTION LOSS
The podcast host continued to hammer legacy media.
“What you’re seeing with Trump, regardless of his flaws, is a massive concentrated psy-op,” Rogan said. “They’ve distorted who he is to the point where most people think that way. Most people think that way. They’ve had narratives.”
“What is a psy-op? I keep hearing that,” Normand said.
“Psychological operation,” Rogan explained. “Where they’ve decided to distort people’s perceptions of things.”
Shaffir replied that older liberals are shocked to hear that former President Obama oversaw more deportations than Trump. “They go, ‘That doesn’t make sense.’ And you go, ‘Right, focus on what’s giving you the reality of the world,’” he said.
JOE ROGAN ENDORSES DONALD TRUMP ON THE EVE OF THE ELECTION
Rogan then turned to his producer, Jamie, and asked him to show a “wild” quote from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from 2008 where she was “saying some wild MAGA-type s—” about “illegal immigrants.”
Clinton could be heard in the recording declaring, “I think we got to have tough conditions. Tell people to come out of the shadows. If they’ve committed a crime, deport them, no questions asked.”
“She’s a Republican,” Shaffir joked.
In the recording, Clinton continued, “If they’ve been working and are law-abiding, we should say, ‘Here are the conditions for you staying. You have to pay a stiff fine because you came here illegally. You have to pay back taxes and you have to try to learn English. And you have to wait in line.’”
The guests expressed their shock at Clinton’s past comments.
“’You have to wait in line,’ And everybody’s cheering,” Rogan said. “2008. Hillary Clinton was more MAGA than Trump. But how about that? More MAGA than Trump. It’s all a f—ing illusion. It’s all a f—ing illusion. All of them, when convenient, have said the exact same things.”

Rogan argued that this election shows that the tide has turned, however.
“They had control of the media up until now. This election was the first time they didn’t really have control of the media anymore,” Rogan argued.
When asked why this is, the podcaster replied, “Because of us, because of podcasts. Because of social media, because of X.”
Biden seen holding anti-Israel book during Black Friday shopping excursion
President Biden on Friday picked up a copy of a book that described Israel as a colonial power in the face of Palestinian resistance despite his repeated support for the Jewish state.
Biden was spotted by the press leaving Nantucket Bookworks holding a copy of “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonialism and Resistance, 1917-2017” by Columbia University professor emeritus Rashid Khalidi, the New York Post reported.
“I do not speak to the Post (or the Times for that matter), so this is not for publication, but my reaction is that this is four years too late,” Khalidi told the Post of Biden holding his book.
The newspaper noted it did not agree to any terms conditioning Khalidi’s response as off the record or on background.
ANTI-ISRAEL PROTESTERS ARRESTED IN SENATE OFFICE BUILDING
Fox News Digital has reached out to Khalidi and the White House.
The book argues that “the modern history of Palestine can best be understood in these terms: as a colonial war waged against the indigenous population, by a variety of parties, to force them to relinquish their homeland to another people against their will.”
It was not clear if Biden purchased the book or if it was given to him.
Khalidi, who is of Palestinian and Lebanese descent, called the first Trump administration a “mouthpiece” for Israel and has criticized Israel over the humanitarian toll in Gaza after Hamas killed about 1,200 people inside Israel Oct. 7, 2023, in addition to kidnapping hostages, including Americans.
“It’s perfectly unclear, reading the Israeli press, what their political objective is. I mean, ethnic cleansing. That’s not a political objective. They’re doing that. They’re driving the population of the Northern Gaza Strip into the Southern Gaza Strip. But what their political objective is, is, to me, entirely unclear, in the writings of, as far as one can tell, from the Israeli press,” he said on the “Intercepted” podcast in November 2023.
Biden has repeatedly declared his support for Israel but has been criticized by Israeli supporters for putting conditions on U.S. aid to the Middle East ally and pausing shipments of heavy munitions to Israel earlier this year.
Meanwhile, pro-Palestinian supporters, who nicknamed Biden “Genocide Joe,” have increasingly criticized him and Netanyahu over civilian casualties in Gaza. Biden has also reportedly criticized his Israeli counterpart behind closed doors, the Post reported.
The book, published in 2020 before Trump brokered relationships between Israel and five Muslim countries, criticized Trump for moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights, which it captured from Syria during the 1967 Six-Day war.
In the book, Khalidi wrote about Israel’s alleged discriminatory policies against Palestinians.
“Settler-colonial confrontations with indigenous peoples have only ended in one of three ways: with the elimination of full subjugation of the native population, as in North America; with the defeat and expulsion of the colonizer, as in Algeria, which is extremely rare; or with the abandonment of colonial supremacy, in the context of compromise and reconciliation, as in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Ireland,” he wrote.

He also praised the first intifada by Palestinians against Israel, which occurred from 1987 to 1993 and left more than 2,000 people dead, the Post wrote.
“The First Intifada was an outstanding example of popular resistance against oppression and can be considered as being the first unmitigated victory for the Palestinians in the long colonial war that began in 1917,” the book says.
Athlete accused of helping trans player rig match kneels during national anthem
Ahead of their Mountain West tournament semifinal game Friday, three members of the top-seeded Colorado State’s women’s volleyball team knelt during the national anthem.
One of the players, Malaya Jones, has been accused of conspiring with San Jose State University’s transgender player, Blaire Fleming, to influence the outcome of a game between the schools and hit Fleming’s teammate, Brooke Slusser, in the face with a ball during a match.
The Mountain West Conference conducted an investigation into allegations of conspiracy by players on San Jose State and Colorado State’s volleyball teams and closed it without any discipline.

The accusations came from a Title IX complaint filed by suspended San Jose State assistant head coach Melissa Batie-Smoose Oct. 29. Batie-Smoose was suspended shortly after the complaint was filed, to the dismay of Slusser and other players on the team.
San Jose State volleyball player Chandler Manusky is quoted in a separate lawsuit recounting an incident in early October, when she and other teammates, including Fleming, violated team rules by sneaking out of a team hotel the night before a match against Colorado State. Manusky claimed to have then learned about an alleged plan by Fleming to ensure San Jose State would lose the match and set up Jones to spike Slusser in the face during a match Oct. 3.
“Manusky said that at Jones’ residence Fleming had shared with Jones the scouting for the CSU-FC game, and they had discussed Fleming ‘throw[ing] the game’ and how they would set up Jones to ‘blow up’ Slusser and ‘blast’ her in the face during the game,” the court documents state.
SJSU ‘DISAPPOINTED’ IN BOISE STATE’S DECISION TO FORFEIT PLAYOFF GAME AGAINST TRANS PLAYER
Slusser previously told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview she was made aware of Fleming’s alleged plan and believes she has been treated unfairly by the university, arguing the university has not done enough to investigate the matter.
“If this was me, and I was the one threatening to do this to my teammate who’s caused so much commotion, there would have been action taken immediately,” Slusser said. “I was definitely very angry, and I was glad at first to know that it was already made aware to the coaching staff and compliance and everyone, but I don’t know if that made me feel any differently. I was just angry because I didn’t think someone would go to these lengths.
“Threatening to want to hurt one of your own teammates, I just feel like there’s so many things in that whole conversation that would make a school want to get it dealt with.”
The Rams won their match against San Diego State Friday in four sets, setting up a date with San Jose State Saturday for the conference championship.

Big change coming soon to majority of US Costco stores in January
Book bargain hunters will be disappointed to learn Costco plans to stop selling books at most of its U.S. stores at the beginning of the year.
In January, Costco will remove the store’s popular book section from the majority of its 600-plus stores in the United States.
And it will only return during the holiday season, from September to December, and at other intermittent times, the discount store chain told publishers over the summer, according to The New York Times.
Costco told the executives the change was made because stocking books on tables is labor-intensive and must be done by hand rather than by forklift like other products, the Times reported.
HOW TO SCORE A SELECT COSTCO MEMBERSHIP FOR JUST $20
The decision comes as more consumers are buying books through online outlets like Amazon.
Books will remain in around 100 Costco stores across the country all year, however, trade news magazine Publisher’s Weekly reported this week.
The decision to keep some books in stores would be a reversal from the store’s earlier plans, the outlet reported.
COSTCO IS SELLING A 175-PIECE LE CREUSET COOKWARE SET THAT HAS A HEFTY PRICE TAG
Publishing and Costco executives will also be watching sales trends for Taylor Swift’s official Eras Tour book, which is being sold exclusively at Target starting on Black Friday, Publisher’s Weekly reported.
If book sales continue to do well, Costco could bring literary sections back to more stores, according to the magazine, or all of them could become seasonal if sales lag.

Gunfire rocks packed US mall on busiest shopping day of the year
Police in Little Rock, Arkansas, were investigating a shooting that took place during Black Friday afternoon at the Park Plaza Mall, according to reports.
Authorities received a report about an “active aggressor” just before 2 p.m., FOX 16 reported.
Mark Edwards with the Little Rock Police Department told the Arkansas Democrat Gazette the shooting was an “isolated incident.”

“I haven’t heard of any fatalities,” Edwards told the Gazette. “I’ve heard maybe a couple of non-life threatening injuries, but nothing fatal.”

ARKANSAS FATHER ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY KILLING MAN HE FOUND WITH HIS MISSING 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER
Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr said in a statement that the actions of two people had “jeopardized the lives” of shoppers.
“The careless, senseless and criminal actions of two individuals today jeopardized the lives and safety of residents and visitors. We are praying for the victims of this incident, and are hopeful they make a full recovery,” he said in a statement posted to X.
“Gun violence is unacceptable at any time or in any place,” he added. We trust those responsible for this will be held fully accountable for their dangerous and reckless decisions. We are grateful to our law enforcement officers, first responders, mall security, and employees, and everyone who acted quickly to ensure safety and protect others.”
It wasn’t clear if any arrests had been made.

Popular gun manufacturer thanks Elon Musk after being suspended by Facebook
After its Facebook account was suspended, the popular American gun manufacturer Smith & Wesson thanked Elon Musk and X for supporting free speech amid what it called ongoing attacks against the First and Second Amendments.
Andy Stone, a representative for Facebook’s parent company, Meta, told Fox News Digital that the account had been suspended in error and that it has since been restored.
In a Friday post on X, however, Smith & Wesson emphasized the importance of Musk’s stance on free speech, criticizing Meta for suspending their account after the platform flagged several of its posts for promoting the sale of weapons.
Founded in 1852 in Norwich, Connecticut, today Smith & Wesson is based in Maryville, Tennessee, and is one of the most recognized gun brands in America, reporting $535.8 million in sales in the 2024 fiscal year.
Smith & Wesson said that “despite our extensive efforts and resources spent on trying to adhere to Facebook’s ever-changing community guidelines on firearms, our account was suspended indefinitely on Friday, November 22nd, 15 years after its original creation.”
ELON MUSK PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR THE SECOND AMENDMENT: ‘TYRANTS’ DISARM THE PEOPLE
The manufacturer shared a screenshot of the suspension notice it had received from Facebook in which the platform said several posts dated Nov. 22, 13 and July 18 violated the rules on promoting weapons.
Facebook’s commerce policy prohibits the promotion of buying, selling and trading of weapons, ammunition and explosives. However, according to Facebook’s parent company Meta’s website, there is an exception for legitimate brick-and-mortar and online retailers, though their content is still restricted for minors.
ZUCKERBERG SAYS ‘ESTABLISHMENT’ ASKED FACEBOOK TO CENSOR COVID MISINFO THAT ENDED UP TRUE: ‘UNDERMINES TRUST’
Although its account has since been reinstated, Smith & Wesson encouraged its 1.6 million Facebook followers and fans to “seek out platforms” that represent the “shared values” of free speech and the right to bear arms.
“In an era where free speech and the right to bear arms are under constant attack, we want to thank Elon Musk and X for supporting free speech and our constitutional rights guaranteed by the 1st and 2nd Amendments,” said Smith & Wesson.

Musk responded to the post by saying, “[we] believe in the Constitution.” He also pointed out that X had resumed allowing users to post the gun emoji after it was replaced by a water gun by Twitter in 2018.
The National Association for Gun Rights, which is a Second Amendment advocacy group with over 4.5 million activists, also chimed in, saying, “Thank you for giving us a place to shelter in this storm of Constitution-hating companies.”
In a separate post, the association called X one of the last holdouts for free speech and gun rights.
“It is becoming clear that X is one of the last major bastions of 2A and Firearms content on social media,” said the group, adding, “the noose is slowly tightening everywhere else, seeking to squeeze us out entirely.”
Anti-Israel mob attacks Jewish children, teens on school bus in broad daylight
The latest targets of antisemitic attacks spreading through Western Europe were Jewish teens and children in the United Kingdom. On Thursday, two buses carrying students from a London Jewish school were attacked at a bus stop by a swarm of around ten teens from a nearby school who wielded large rocks, the Jewish Chronicle reported.
Four teens boarded one of the double-decker buses and went to the second level, where they began to swear at students and give them the middle finger. One 12-year-old student, who professed he was “scared” by the attack, described how the teens “were swearing at us, saying ‘F— Israel, nobody likes you. F— off, you bitches. They were filming us like they were enjoying it. There were lots of people in the street and nobody tried to stop them,” the student told The Jewish Chronicle.
CALLS FOR US TO DO MORE AS ANTISEMITIC ACTS SKYROCKET IN EUROPE: ‘ENORMOUSLY PAINFUL’
After the four teens got off the bus, they began to throw heavy rocks at the buses. An 11-year-old student recalled, “I don’t know where they got the rocks from – maybe they had them in their bags. None of us knew what to do.” She reported that some students ran off the bus, but she remained aboard. “They were swearing at us and filming us,” she explained. “We don’t know what they are going to do with that video or why they did what they did.”
“This incident did not take place in a vacuum,” a spokesperson from the British organization Campaign Against Antisemitism told Fox News Digital. “Over the past year, we have repeatedly warned of the dangerous consequences of Jew-hate going unchecked.”
Citing the Campaign Against Antisemitism’s findings that “69% of British Jews are less likely to show visible signs of their Judaism in public,” the spokesperson explained that “the simple truth is that our streets are no longer safe for British Jews and their children. . . . It is time for arrests and those who break the law must face consequences.”
PATRICIA HEATON CALLS ON CHRISTIANS TO FIGHT AGAINST ANTISEMITISM, OCTOBER 7 ‘DENIALISM,’ AT AWARDS SHOW
Antisemitism has seen a startling rise in the UK in the aftermath of Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 terror attacks. Citing CST statistics, the BBC reported that 1,978 antisemitic incidents occurred during the first six months of 2024, up from 964 during the same period in 2023. The number may be higher, as the Metropolitan Police’s data reporting was obstructed for three months due to technical difficulties.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism has recorded the emotional toll of the past year for British Jews. According to their research, “42% of British Jews considered leaving Britain” over the last two years on account of antisemitism. The number rose to 85% when considering antisemitism in politics. The organization also found that only “26% of British Jews think the Crown Prosecution Service does enough to protect the Jewish community.”
Thursday’s school bus attack follows another startling act of violence. On Nov. 25, a man on an East London balcony launched glass bottles at a group of Jewish teenage girls walking to a rehearsal, the Jewish Chronicle reported. One of the Jewish teenagers was hospitalized with “serious but non-life changing head injuries.” The incident is being investigated as a “potential antisemitic crime.” The spokesperson from the Campaign Against Antisemitism told Fox News Digital that the victim was “visibly Jewish.”

In 2023, 4,103 antisemitic incidents were recorded in the UK, with more than half of them, 2,140, occurring in London.
Amichai Chikli, the Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism previously called London “the most antisemitic city,” on account of the “atmosphere created by Hamas supporters.”
