Sean Duffy smacks down Hillary Clinton’s criticism: ‘You need to sit this one out’
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will work on upgrading the aviation system, and then fired back at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after she weighed in.
“Big News – Talked to the DOGE team. They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system,” Duffy noted in a post on X.
Clinton chimed in, tweeting, “They have no relevant experience. Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car. And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?”
TRANSPORTATION SEC SEAN DUFFY SAYS FAA SYSTEMS ARE ‘ANTIQUATED,’ CALLS FOR MORE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS
Duffy fired back at Clinton, the Democrat who lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump.
“Madam Secretary, with all due respect, ‘experienced’ Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out,” Duffy declared.
Business tycoon Elon Musk — who is spearheading the DOGE effort to uncover government waste, fraud, and abuse — indicated that the team will seek to swiftly implement “safety upgrades to the air traffic control system.”
“With the support of President @realDonaldTrump, the @DOGE team will aim to make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system. Just a few days ago, the FAA’s primary aircraft safety notification system failed for several hours!” he noted in a post when responding to Duffy’s announcement.

Someone replied to Musk, noting, “My brother first developed the method of accurately navigating airlines by GPS, 45 years ago. He expected an automated air traffic system long ago. It’s time to do it now. Get rid of 75-year-old ATC radar. Put all the planes on a 3-D map. All paths straight to landing.”
Musk replied, noting that he agrees.

The exchange comes after back-to-back fatal aviation incidents in the U.S. last week, including the collision between a military helicopter and a passenger jet near the Ronald Reagan Washington National airport (DCA) and a Learjet 55 medevac jet that crashed in Philadelphia, killing at least seven people.
White House Correspondents’ Dinner host says ‘no one wants’ Trump to show up
Comedian Amber Ruffin hopes President Donald Trump will once again opt out of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner this year.
The “Late Show with Seth Meyers” writer will be headlining the dinner in April and discussed the event on CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper” on Wednesday.
Although Trump never attended the dinner during his first term, Tapper asked Ruffin if she would be interested in seeing him this year.
“No!” Ruffin exclaimed. “No one wants that. Sure, it’s something to do. I can’t imagine he would.”
“He should,” she added. “He’s missing out on one of the cool things about being the President of the United States, but I don’t know that anyone’s looking forward to being in the same room as him.”
JESSE WATTERS: THE MEDIA IS A JOKE AND BIDEN CAN’T TAKE ONE
Trump has not yet indicated whether he will attend the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
Tapper remarked how Ruffin’s boss, late night host Seth Meyers, had previously headlined the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in 2011. That year, Meyers infamously mocked Trump, who had attended the event.
“Donald Trump has been saying that he will run for president as a Republican, which is surprising because I just assumed he was running as a joke,” Meyers said at the time.
Tapper pointed out how some have credited that moment for inspiring Trump to eventually run for president in 2015.
“[Meyers] got us into this mess,” Ruffin joked. “It is his fault. If you’re looking for somebody to blame, blame my boss.”

She continued, “He did what he had to do. It cannot be your job to razz people, and then this man comes alone and is like ‘I’m going to be president.’ You have to laugh. Ultimately, the joke’s on us, isn’t it?”
The annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner is attended by politicians, journalists and celebrities and usually features jokes by the host and the president.
President Biden attended the dinner in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Ex-Coast Guard boss reportedly evicted from base housing 2 weeks after firing
Adm. Linda Lee Fagan, the former commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, who was terminated from her role last month over concerns about issues including the border, recruitment and DEI issues, was evicted from her admiral quarters home with three hours of notice on Tuesday, according to an NBC report citing two people familiar with the incident.
Fagan was fired by the Trump administration on the president’s second day in office. She had been given a 60-day waiver to find new housing but was informed at 2 p.m. Tuesday that she had three hours to leave her home at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Washington, D.C., per the report.
The short time frame meant that she did not have enough time to remove “many — maybe all — of her personal items and household goods still there,” a former U.S. military official told the outlet. She spent the night with friends, the report states.
COAST GUARD COMMANDANT TERMINATED OVER BORDER LAPSES, RECRUITMENT, DEI FOCUS: OFFICIAL
NBC reports that Homeland Security officials told the acting commandant, Kevin Lunday, that Fagan needed to leave the home.
The outlet’s DHS source could not immediately ascertain whether the directive had come from President Donald Trump. Homeland Security oversees the U.S. Coast Guard.
Fox News Digital has reached out to the White House and the Coast Guard to confirm the report but did not immediately receive a response for publication.
Shortly after being told to leave, her team received a call from aides to Sean Plankey, a DHS senior adviser and retired Coast Guard officer, instructing her to leave the house unlocked so that the interior could be photographed, according to one of the sources.
Fagan, a four-star admiral and the first woman to lead a branch of the military, was terminated for a variety of reasons including an “erosion of trust,” leadership deficiencies, operational failures and an inability to advance the strategic objectives of the Coast Guard, a senior DHS official previously confirmed to Fox News.
These include the failure to address border security threats, insufficient leadership in recruitment and retention, mismanagement in acquiring key acquisitions such as icebreakers and helicopters, excessive focus on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and an “erosion of trust” over the mishandling and cover-up of Operation Fouled Anchor, which was the Coast Guard’s internal investigation into sexual assault cases at the Coast Guard Academy.

Fagan is accused of ineffective deployment of Coast Guard assets to support national border security, including in intercepting fentanyl and other illicit substances. She also is accused of having had insufficient coordination with DHS to prioritize operations along maritime borders.
The DHS official said Fagan had significant failures in recruiting personnel, which worsened issues related to operational readiness. The official added that the lack of innovative strategies to address retention struggles in critical specialties weakened workforce sustainability.
Under her leadership, there were also persistent delays and cost overruns in acquiring essential platforms, including icebreakers and helicopters, that the official said undermined Coast Guard capabilities in the Arctic and other strategic regions. The official further cited inadequate accountability for acquisition failures that were highlighted during Trump’s first administration.
Fagan also prioritized DEI policies, including at the Coast Guard Academy, which diverted resources and focus from operational essentials.
In Operation Fouled Anchor, the cover-up of sexual assaults at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy “deeply eroded trust” in the Coast Guard among the American public, the U.S. Congress and the military. The Coast Guard did not disclose the existence of Operation Fouled Anchor until 2023, despite its existence from 2014 to 2019.

Fagan was grilled by senators over the summer when she testified at a hearing on Capitol Hill, where she was questioned for not holding anyone accountable for the cover-up and withholding additional documents congressional lawmakers requested about the mishandling of the problem at the service’s academy.
The official said the failure to sufficiently address the systemic issues revealed by the investigation has highlighted a “leadership culture” unwilling to ensure accountability and transparency in protecting service members.
Fagan served as the 27th Commandant of the Coast Guard starting on June 1, 2022. She was tasked with overseeing all global Coast Guard operations and 42,000 active-duty, 7,000 reserve and 8,700 civilian personnel, as well as the support of 21,000 Coast Guard Auxiliary volunteers.
Caught-on-cam: Los Angeles arson suspect gets a dose of justice in ‘wrong neighborhood’
A group of residents stepped in and conducted a citizen’s arrest after spotting a man allegedly sparking a fire in the brush of their neighborhood in Los Angeles, as the region deals with the aftermath of wildfires.
Alejandro Martinez, 41, faces a charge of arson, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department.
Video posted by journalist Gabe Cortez on Instagram, and obtained by Fox News Digital, showed a man running down a road being chased by people in cars in a neighborhood in Chatsworth, a neighborhood in LA.
The video captured concerned residents taking matters into their own hands and tackling Martinez.
Wrong neighborhood, buddy! Wrong neighborhood!

Sheriff’s deputies arrived in the neighborhood following the citizen’s arrest.
When deputies searched Martinez, they found a lighter in his pocket, a small sum of cash and a car battery jumper kit. Footage showed authorities removing the illicit items from his pockets following the apprehension.
At one point in the video, Martinez could be heard protesting in Spanish: “No he robado nada, en serio” — “I haven’t stolen anything, seriously.”
LOS ANGELES AGENCY REVEALS ESTIMATED ECONOMIC IMPACT OF DEADLY WILDFIRES AS INFERNOS STILL RAGE
Brandon Taylor, a photographer with Traffic News LA, said that he was capturing photos in the area after he was alerted to a brush fire in the area.
“It just seemed a little strange that there was a guy there after a brush fire was reported just a quarter-mile up the road,” Taylor explained to FOX 11 Los Angeles. “And he’s in the bush doing something.”
After spotting Martinez in the bush, citizens went after him, leading to a swift apprehension.
For the neighbors, the suspected arson hits home as many Los Angeles residents continue to pick up the pieces after their homes were destroyed by devastating wildfires.
“The residents were furious,” Taylor said. “They’ve gone through the Woolsey Fire, which started just a mile from there. With all the dry vegetation, they were really concerned about him starting another fire and losing their homes.”

Trump praised for ‘adorable moment’ with kids while signing sweeping executive order
EXCLUSIVE: Arizona’s Senate president, Republican Sen. Warren Petersen, spoke to Fox News Digital after attending President Donald Trump‘s signing of the “No Men in Women’s Sports” executive order, which Petersen called an “incredible” moment for female athletes nationwide.
“I think the impact is huge,” Petersen told Fox News Digital shortly after witnessing Trump sign the highly anticipated executive order to keep biological males out of women’s sports, fulfilling one of his most prominent campaign promises.
“We now have a multi-pronged approach to making sure that only girls play in girls sports and boys cannot play in girls sports,” Petersen said. “We’ve passed laws to do this. We’ve been litigating in the courts, and now we have the executive branch issuing an executive order saying that the way they’re interpreting Title IX is just boys and girls. Boys are boys and girls are girls. And if you violate this title, if you allow boys to play in girls sports, then you’re going to lose federal funding, and you’re going to be investigated. I think it’s great news.”
Citing recent polling, Petersen pointed out that 70% of Americans “want to see girls’ sports protected.”
RILEY GAINES: THE ALL-OUT WAR ON FEMALE ATHLETES ENDS NOW, THANKS TO PRESIDENT TRUMP
“I think this is a perfect example of why you’re seeing Democrats with the 31% approval rating,” Petersen said. “I think this is a perfect example of what you saw in Arizona, that we increased our majorities, and we won virtually all of our competitive races. So I’m excited. I mean, President Trump is making girl sports great again and that’s good for America. That’s good for American girls. And girls can now pursue their dreams. It has been absolutely ridiculous that you’ve had girls work their whole lives, set goals, work hard only for some boy to come along and snatch their dreams away from them. In sports, it’s really been unthinkable that we have allowed this to happen to some of our girls and some of the women.”
Petersen, who posted a photo at the event with former NCAA swimmer and girls sports activist Riley Gaines, spoke to Fox News Digital about the “disconnect” between the average American voter and Democrat politicians on the issue of girls’ sports.
RILEY GAINES TEARS INTO WNBA STAR, WHO GAVE CAITLIN CLARK BLACK EYE, FOR WEARING ANTI-TRUMP SHIRT
“They’re totally out of touch with their voters,” Petersen said. “They have this really loud, small faction that’s well-funded and well-organized, but it is by far out of touch with what the vast majority of Americans believe. And quite frankly, it’s out of touch with logic and science. The biggest gaslight that we have had to deal with over the last several years are the Democrats trying to convince the rest of America that boys are girls. I mean, that is total lunacy, totally insane. It flies in the face of just common logic and the voters sent a message loud and clear that they’re not going to have it.”
As Trump was signing the executive order, dozens of young female athletes who were in the audience walked up to the table and surrounded Trump after he invited them over in a moment that Petersen called “incredible.”
“I think it was just a feeling of relief, I can’t believe this battle is over,” Petersen told Fox News Digital. “The boys playing in girls sports, you know, stolen titles from our girls and women. That time is over. And I thought it was really an adorable moment. We’re you’re just extremely grateful for this president.”

“I think this common sense move that he’s making is just, you know, the reason why his his polling is very high right now. And, you know, people are just so sick of politicians making promises saying they’re going to do things…and nobody can say that Trump is not fulfilling his promises because not only is Trump fulfilling his promises, but he’s doing it at a breakneck speed.”
Petersen, who has filed paperwork to run for attorney general in Arizona, told Fox News Digital that he will continue to fight for the “right side” of this issue in his home state.
“I’m the lead defendant in a case to protect the Save Women’s Sports Act in Arizona,” Petersen explained.
“It’s sitting at the Supreme Court right now. We’re going to see that trial all the way through. We have an attorney general who’s completely out of touch with the rest of the Democrats. She wouldn’t defend the law. She thought it was okay for boys to play in girl sports. So I am defending that law. It’s in the Supreme Court. We are going to see that all the way through.”
Former USAID official speaks out over alleged waste, fraud inside agency
One former State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) official is speaking out over the waste and fraud she allegedly saw, which ultimately made it difficult to do their jobs.
“We would try to keep USAID in line with the Secretary of State because, technically, the USAID responds to the Secretary of State, and it was very difficult. There was no traceability, no accountability, and it was really hard for us to do our jobs,” Catharine O’Neill Gillihan said on “Varney & Co.” Wednesday.
O’Neill Gillihan worked at the State Department for three years before transferring to being a USAID official under President Donald Trump’s first administration. Currently, the USAID finds itself in the crosshairs of Trump and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chair Elon Musk, as they work to shut down the agency.
Musk, the world’s richest man now in charge of Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), made headlines over the weekend after he targeted the international aid agency and his team seized classified information on Saturday despite lacking the security clearance to do so, the Associated Press reported.
BILL GATES WEIGHS IN ON NEW TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, ELON MUSK’S ROLE
By Sunday, the USAID website went dark and on Monday employees were barred entry into its headquarters, while thousands of others had their work instantly put on hold.
USAID has become increasingly the target of heated U.S. politics, with Republicans arguing it is wasteful, promotes liberal agendas and should be enfolded into the State Department.
“The list goes on and on and on,” O’Neill Gillihan said of the spending waste. “I think I read recently that they were funding a ‘Sesame Street’ program in Peru. I mean, these programs have gotten so out of control.”
“USAID was created in 1961 by President Kennedy under executive order,” she further explained. “And his idea for the agency would be housed under this Department of State. So President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are totally within their right to bring USAID back under the Department of State. It’s within its original mandate.”
The U.S. far outspends its international peers when it comes to foreign aid, spending some $68 billion in 2023 – $40 billion of which was budgeted for USAID, the BBC reported.

“If you’re a CEO of a large company and you have a department that’s out there spending money that’s not in alignment with your mission, not matching up with your bottom line, the natural inclination is to bring that department into review and perhaps cut it,” O’Neill Gillihan pointed out.
“So Donald Trump, as the CEO of the United States of America, has deputized Elon Musk, who I see as the de facto controller of America, is reviewing every penny that’s going out the door… Article II of the Constitution gives the president that right, as [it’s] called the vesting clause, to review the powers of this government and to make sure that all of the spending is aligned with our interests.”

Navy SEAL veteran pulling back the curtain on the real danger at our southern border
A Navy SEAL veteran-turned-congressman is fighting to pull back the curtain on the growing threat of Mexican drug cartels and other organized crime groups, introducing legislation Thursday aimed at providing Americans with transparency about the dangers they pose.
“Thanks to the Biden administration’s open-border policies, dangerous cartels have been running our borders and profiting from human and drug trafficking,” Rep. Morgan Luttrell, R-Texas, told Fox News Digital.
Luttrell introduced the CARTEL Act, which mandates that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) report whether individuals listed in the Terrorist Screening Database were released into the United States.

The legislation also mandates the transparent tracking of individuals associated with cartels who have attempted illegal crossings.
The bill comes just a few weeks after President Donald Trump signed an executive order that moved the U.S. toward designating drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. The order says the organizations “threaten the safety of the American people, the security of the United States, and the stability of the international order in the Western Hemisphere.”
“The Cartels have engaged in a campaign of violence and terror throughout the Western Hemisphere that has not only destabilized countries with significant importance for our national interests but also flooded the United States with deadly drugs, violent criminals, and vicious gangs,” the order adds.
MEXICO AGREES TO DEPLOY 10,000 TROOPS TO US BORDER IN EXCHANGE FOR TARIFF PAUSE
The order highlighted both Mexican cartels and other gangs throughout Latin America, such as Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua and El Salvador’s MS-13, which have raised alarms in recent years after reports of gang activity spreading to the United States.
Luttrell, who served seven years as a Navy SEAL, believes the legislation will offer Americans transparency on just who is trying to enter the country, while also mandating that CBP provide a comprehensive report to Congress showing which terrorist organizations and cartels are working to enter the country.
The CARTEL Act is co-sponsored by representatives Bryan Steil, R-Wis., Daniel Webster, R-Fla., Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., Andrew Garbarino, R-N.Y., Jen Kiggans, R-Va., Randy Weber, R-Texas, Jack Bergman, R-Mich., Michael McCaul, R-Texas, Brian Babin, R-Texas, and Mike Collins, R-Ga.

“Americans deserve to know exactly who is trying to enter our country,” Luttrell said. “The CARTEL Act will provide critical transparency and accountability in the fight to secure our borders and protect our communities.”
State takes action on school lunches with potential ban after feeling inspired by RFK Jr
A bill in Arizona is seeking to make school lunches healthy again by banning ultra-processed food.
House Bill 2164, titled the Arizona Healthy Schools Act, was introduced by Representative Leo Biasiucci and inspired by RFK Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement.
The bill would ban any food that contains potassium bromate, propylparaben, titanium dioxide, brominated vegetable oil, yellow dyes 5 and 6, blue dyes 1 and 2, green dye 3, and red dyes 3 and 40.
MAKE AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN: WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
“The legislature finds that ultra-processed, industrially manufactured, nutrient-depleted food with synthetic additives is undernourishing minors at public schools and contributing to childhood obesity,” the bill reads.
Adding, “Any taxpayer-funded meal or snack program offered to minors at public schools in this state should be nutritious and made primarily of whole, minimally processed plant or animal products.”
On Tuesday, a “Cut the Chemicals” press conference was held at the Arizona Department of Education (AZDE) hosted by Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne.

At the presser, Rep. Biasiucci, along with wellness advocates and supporters of the bill, gathered to share the importance of advancing the bill in Arizona.
Biasiucci told Fox News Digital that the idea for the bill was sparked while in Italy visiting his family last summer.
“[I] realized that even after eating pizza, pasta, bread, cheese and ice cream almost daily, I still felt great. I started to then look at the ingredients in the foods and noticed they didn’t have all the dyes and chemicals we had in our foods,” said Biasiucci.
He added, “Sometimes, these foods even came from companies that provide the same product in both the United States and in Europe. It was at that moment I knew I had to do something.”

Biasiucci said the MAHA movement has absolutely impacted his legislative agenda, and that the support of this bill has been incredible.
Calley Means, an advocate for healthcare reform, focusing on the intersection of food, policy and chronic disease, said these food colorings are crude oil.
“They are unambiguously connected to mass behavioral and neurological issues for kids. These are not allowed in any other developed country in the world…we have a food industry that’s addicting kids and rigging lives,” said Means.
Means added, “from the food industry standpoint, the largest fast food restaurant in America is school lunches.”

From 2017 to March 2020, 22.2% of adolescents ages 12–19 were diagnosed with obesity, according to the CDC.
And from 2015 to 2018, 28.2% of teens were diagnosed with prediabetes, according to JAMA Pediatrics.
Arizona Autism Charter Schools Executive Director Diana Diaz-Harrison said she is an autism mom, and it is sad for her to see what is currently being served for school lunch.
“I honestly don’t feel good about feeding the kids that lunch and that breakfast every single day because it is honestly something that I myself would not eat, nor would I give my child,” said Diaz-Harrison.
Actor and comedian Rob Schneider was also in attendance at the press conference.
“We can get the farmer’s market and get the chefs to help, and we want to encourage the schools and the parents [to] get involved. It can be a community thing where it leaves the schools, and then it becomes part of the parents, becomes part of the lifestyle,” said Schneider.
Schneider added, “I got two kids here in Arizona, and I love this state. And the passion here today was fantastic.”
