Trump unveils ‘beautiful’ real estate vision after shocking the world with plan for Gaza

President Donald Trump reiterated his plans for the United States to have a “long-term ownership position” in the Gaza Strip at some point in the future during an exclusive interview with Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier that aired on Monday.

Trump said “great people” in the Middle East could potentially fund the reconstruction process inside the war-torn enclave after Israel ends its war against Hamas, which began after the militant group led a surprise early morning attack on Oct. 7, 2023, killing roughly 1,200 people and taking more than 250 as hostages.

HAMAS FREES 3 MORE HOSTAGES AS PART OF CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT WITH ISRAEL

When asked whether Palestinians would have a right to return to Gaza, the 47th president answered that they wouldn’t because they “will have much better housing.”

“Much better – in other words, I’m talking about building a permanent place for them,” he told Baier on “Special Report.”

A key issue at the heart of Trump’s proposed U.S. takeover of the Gaza Strip is his suggestion of relocating Palestinians to neighboring countries while reconstruction is ongoing, something two U.S. Middle Eastern allies have flatly rejected.

RAND PAUL RECOILS AT TRUMP’S GAZA TAKEOVER PLANS: ‘I THOUGHT WE VOTED FOR AMERICA FIRST’

Jordan’s King Abdullah II, who has repeatedly pushed back against the idea of relocating Palestinians to the Hashemite Kingdom, is expected to discuss the proposal Tuesday when he meets with the president at the White House.

Egypt announced over the weekend that it will host an emergency Arab summit in Cairo at the end of the month to address the “new and dangerous developments in the Palestinian issue,” according to a statement released by the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Trump said he believes he can ultimately make a deal with Egypt and Jordan because the United States gives them billions of dollars in aid.

“There’s practically no building that’s livable in the whole thing, on of the whole Gaza Strip. I say we go in, we knock them all down. We just create some — no more Hamas. There’s no Hamas there. There’s nobody there. We move them into beautiful areas of the Middle East,” he explained.

“We’ll build beautiful communities for the 1.9 million people. We’ll build beautiful communities. Safe communities. [It] could be five, six could be two. But we’ll build safe communities a little bit away from where they are, where all of this danger is. In the meantime, I would own this. Think of it as a real estate development for the future. It would be a beautiful piece of land.”

Jet owned by Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil involved in fatal plane crash

A private jet owned by Vince Neil – the lead singer of Mötley Crüe – was involved in a fatal crash Monday afternoon at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona.

Authorities say one person was killed and three others were injured when the landing gear on Neil’s plane failed, causing it to careen off the runway and smash into a bigger jet.

The jet is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, Inc – a Wyoming-based company – that lists Neil as its director, according to records reviewed by Fox News Digital.

A lawyer for Neil confirmed to AZFamily that he was not on the plane.

“On board, Mr. Neil’s plane were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on the plane,” the statement reads. “Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all the first responders assisting today.”

Scottsdale Fire Capt. Dave Folio said a person was trapped in Neil’s jet after the crash, but rescuers were able to free them from the wreckage. The person was transferred to a trauma center in critical condition.

“Our thoughts and prayers are going out to everybody in the aviation community that this affects today,” Kelli Kuester, Aviation outreach and planning coordinator for the Scottsdale Airport said.

The plane was coming from Austin, Texas when it crashed.

Officials said the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the crash.

A spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed the crash to Fox News Digital.

“A Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona around 2:45 p.m. local time Monday, Feb. 10,” the FAA said in a statement.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes said she was “devastated” to hear about the crash.

“I’m devastated to hear that a fatal plane crash has occurred at Scottsdale Airport. My thoughts are with the victims of this terrible accident and their loved ones,” Mayes wrote in a post on X.

Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky also shared a statement with Fox 10 Phoenix and said they are closely monitoring the situation.

Today, Scottsdale sadly experienced an aircraft accident at our airport. Based on the information provided thus far, it appears at least one person is dead after two jets collided on the runway at Scottsdale Airport,” Borowsky said. “We are closely monitoring the situation, and we are in touch with airport, police and federal agencies and will update the community as we have further information.”

“On behalf of the city of Scottsdale, we offer our deepest condolences to those involved in the accident and for those who have been taken to our trauma center for treatment. We will keep all affected by this tragedy in our prayers. I would also like to thank our first responder community for their quick action and service in this situation.”

The airport confirmed the crash in a post on X shortly after it happened.

“An accident has occurred upon arrival to runway 21,” the airport posted on X. “Fire Department is on scene assessing the situation. Scottsdale Airports runway is currently closed.”

Officials said airport operations staff and emergency personnel from a Scottsdale fire station responded to the scene within one minute of the collision.

Eagles captain comments on potential Trump White House invite

With the Philadelphia Eagles winning Super Bowl LIX over the Kansas City Chiefs, the celebration has begun.

Whether it will be at the White House – President Donald Trump has yet to announce a formal invitation – will be a “team decision,” says veteran offensive lineman Lane Johnson.

“I’d be honored to go, regardless of who the president is, but we’ll see,” Johnson said via Sportico’s Eric Jackson. “It’s ultimately a team decision. I’ll do what’s best for the team.”

Johnson is a team captain with the Eagles, having spent all 12 of his NFL seasons with the franchise.

He was there in 2018 when controversy came back after their Super Bowl victory over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots

Trump was in office when he rescinded his invitation to the Eagles to celebrate their Super Bowl LII victory, as some players said they would not visit the White House due to Trump’s criticism of those who kneeled or raised their fists during the national anthem to protest racial injustice and police brutality.

Trump released a statement at the time regarding his invitation cancellation, saying “the 1,000 fans planning to attend the event deserve better.”

“They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country,” Trump’s statement read seven years ago.

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was asked before Super Bowl LIX if he would head to the White House if his team won.

“I just want to win Sunday,” he responded, via Front Office Sports.

Josh Sweat, an Eagle with a crucial performance on Sunday with 2.5 sacks on Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, added, “It’s a great honor, but I’m looking forward to this parade more than anything.”

Republican rebels mutiny against leadership amid Trump budget bill standoff

The hard-line conservative House Freedom Caucus has released its own proposal to enact President Donald Trump’s agenda via the budget reconciliation process.

The plan would pair a debt ceiling increase and increased border security funding with deep spending cuts through welfare work requirements and rollbacks on progressive Biden administration initiatives.

It’s a sign that House GOP leaders have still not found consensus within the conference on a path forward, despite ambitious plans to get a bill through the chamber at the end of the month.

House and Senate Republicans are aiming to use their congressional majorities to pass a massive conservative policy overhaul via the budget reconciliation process.

SCOOP: KEY CONSERVATIVE CAUCUS DRAWS RED LINE ON HOUSE BUDGET PLAN

By reducing the Senate’s threshold for passage from one-third to a simple majority, where the House already operates, Republicans will be able to enact Trump’s plans while entirely skirting Democratic opposition, provided the items included relate to budgetary and other fiscal matters.

GOP lawmakers want to include a wide swath of Trump priorities from more funding for border security to eliminating taxes on tipped and overtime wages.

But fiscal hawks have also demanded the package be deficit-neutral or deficit-reducing. Congressional leaders can afford little dissent with their razor-thin majorities and guaranteed lack of Democratic support.

The Freedom Caucus’s plan would follow through on conservatives’ pleas for deep spending cuts, pairing $200 billion in annual new spending for the border and national defense with $486 billion in spending cuts for the same 10-year period.

It would also include a $4 trillion increase in the debt ceiling, something Trump demanded be part of Republicans’ fiscal negotiations.

Spending cuts would be found in codifying rollbacks to the Biden administration’s electric vehicle mandates and imposing Clinton administration-era work requirements for certain federal benefits, among other measures.

The legislation leaves out one critical component of Trump’s reconciliation goals – the extension of his 2017-era Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

House GOP leaders and Republicans on the Ways & Means Committee had pushed for them to be included alongside border security, debt ceiling, defense and energy measures in one massive reconciliation bill.

They argued that leaving them for a second bill, which the House Freedom Caucus plan would do, will allow Trump’s tax cuts to expire at the end of this year before Congress has time to act.

The two-track approach is also favored by Senate Republicans, who are moving forward with their own plan this week.

Conservatives on the House Budget Committee pushed back against GOP leaders’ initial proposals for baseline spending cuts to offset new spending in the reconciliation plan, forcing the House to punt on plans to advance a resolution through the House Budget Committee last week.

Senate Budget Committee Chair Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., later announced plans to advance his own proposal through his committee by Thursday.

BLACK CAUCUS CHAIR ACCUSES TRUMP OF ‘PURGE’ OF ‘MINORITY’ FEDERAL WORKERS

“”The biggest loser this weekend wasn’t at the Super Bowl, but rather the American people,” Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., told Fox News Digital. “The clock is ticking, and we are no closer to a budget deal, which is why the House Freedom Caucus released our Emergency Border Control Resolution Budget to secure our border and address Trump’s America First Agenda.”

House Freedom Caucus Chair Andy Harris, R-Md., said in a statement, “Given the current delay in the House on moving a comprehensive reconciliation bill, moving a smaller targeted bill now makes the most sense to deliver a win for the President and the American people.”

Rep. Michael Cloud, R-Texas, said, “The American people voted for Donald Trump to see action – not for Congress to sit on its hands while our short window to pass his America-First agenda closes.”

Supporters of the two-bill approach have said it would secure early wins on issues Republicans agree most on while leaving more complex matters like tax cuts for the latter half of the year.

Kid Rock unleashes on Nashville bar audience, cuts performance short

Kid Rock was not pleased with the crowd at Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar on Saturday night.

The musician attended the venue to celebrate Bon Jovi rocker David Bryan’s birthday. On Feb. 8, Kid Rock walked off the stage in the middle of his performance after noting the crowd was not clapping along to his liking.

Kid Rock was met with applause when he first got on stage and then began singing “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival, per a video a fan shared to TikTok.

The performance was off to a good start before he stopped the song to ask the crowd to clap along.

“F— them. F— them. Hey, hey, stop. If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna go,” Kid Rock said in the video. He even demonstrated the pace he wanted the crowd to be clapping.

“You know what, f— y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone.”

The crowd began to clap, and Kid Rock continued to sing. About a minute later, the musician stopped singing and said, “You know what, f— y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone” and stormed off the stage.

Bryan was seen looking confused and talking to another bandmate while the star made a dramatic exit.

Kid Rock’s representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

For the convention, the rocker redid his 2000 song “American Bad A–” to include references to Trump. He began his performance by asking the audience to stand and raise a fist before leading it in chants of “Fight, fight!” and “Trump, Trump!”

He finished his performance by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the most patriotic American bada– on earth, President Donald J. Trump.” Kid Rock then introduced UFC CEO and President Dana White, who spoke immediately before Trump gave his speech.

During his own speech, Trump spoke about Kid Rock, saying the rocker had called him and asked him if he could be involved with the convention.

“He became a friend of mine over the last ten years, and he’s amazing,” Trump said. “Everyone loves him. I didn’t even know how big he was.”

Sec Hegseth says legendary US fort will regain original name – but with a twist

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday directed the U.S. Army to change the name of Fort Liberty back to Fort Bragg, but with a twist.

Hegseth signed a memo aboard a U.S. Air Force C-17 before landing in Stuttgart, Germany, ordering the renaming of the North Carolina base to Fort Roland L. Bragg, not the Confederate general that was the previous namesake.

“That’s right. Bragg is back,” said Hegseth after signing the memo.

SO LONG FORT BRAGG, WELCOME FORT LIBERTY: THE PENTAGON’S NAMING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS TAKE EFFECT

The name of the military installation was changed in 2023 as part of a broad Department of Defense initiative, motivated by the 2020 George Floyd protests, to rename military installations bearing the name of Confederate soldiers.

The base was originally named in 1918 for Gen. Braxton Bragg, a Confederate general from Warrenton, North Carolina, who was known for owning slaves and losing key Civil War battles that contributed to the Confederacy’s downfall.

The new name pays tribute to Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, a World War II hero who earned the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his exceptional courage during the Battle of the Bulge.

“During these hellish conditions and amidst ferocious fighting, PFC. Bragg saved a fellow soldier’s life by commandeering an enemy ambulance and driving it 20 miles to transport a fellow wounded warrior to an allied hospital in Belguim,” the memo states.

MILITARY INSTALLATIONS, SHIPS NAMED AFTER CONFEDERATES BEGIN RENAMING PROCESS

The military installation is one of the largest in the world and is home to the Army’s famed 82nd Airborne Division and the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

“The directive honors the personal courage and selfless service of all those who have trained to fight and win our nation’s wars, including PFC. Bragg, and is in keeping with the installation’s esteemed and storied history,” the memo said.

In addition to the North Carolina base, several other Army posts were renamed, including Fort Benning, home to the Army’s infantry school, to Fort Moore, after the late Lt. Gen. Hal Moore, a Vietnam War commander, and Fort Hood to Fort Cavazos, named after Gen. Richard Edward Cavazos, a four-star general who fought in both the Korean and Vietnam wars.

At the time the Army was renaming several bases, Retired U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Ty Seidule said at a commission meeting that Fort Liberty was chosen as the new name because “liberty remains the greatest American value.”

Two American tourists airlifted to hospital after shark attack at luxury resort

Two American tourists were attacked by a shark at a popular Bahamas resort over the weekend, police said.

The female swimmers were in the waters at Bimini Bay, which is part of the westernmost island in the Bahamas and about 50 miles from Miami, about 6:30 p.m. Friday when the attack took place.

“Initial reports indicate that the victims, both U.S.A. residents, sustained injuries while swimming in the waters at Bimini Bay,” the Royal Bahamas Police Force wrote in a press release.

Both victims of the reported shark attack were initially provided with local medical treatment before they were airlifted to New Providence, a separate island in the Bahamas, for further medical care.

“One of the victim’s injuries is listed as serious,” police continued in their statement on Saturday, adding that the investigation is ongoing.

At least two other Americans have suffered from shark attacks in the Bahamas in a little over a year.

Serena Williams enters the chat on Taylor Swift getting booed at Super Bowl

Taylor Swift heard Philadelphia Eagles fans loud and clear on Sunday during Super Bowl LIX.

A chorus of boos was directed toward the pop star at the Caesars Superdome as the Eagles took on, and eventually defeated, the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift appeared to be stunned by the boos birds, according to multiple social media videos.

Swift did find a defender during the game – in Serena Williams. The tennis legend directed a post toward Swift.

“I love you @taylorswift13 dont listen to those booo!!” she wrote.

Unfortunately for Swift, she sat and watched the Chiefs get their doors blown off in a 40-22 rout from the Eagles. Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, had four catches for 39 yards. It was far from enough to stymie the intense Eagles defense that plagued Kansas City all night long.

Williams, at least, was able to make a guest appearance in Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show.

Swift faced more ridicule after the loss from President Donald Trump, who attended the game, becoming the first sitting president to do so.

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!” Trump wrote.
