Violence against Tesla owners, dealers spreads as far-left activists denounce Elon Musk

Tesla car owners, dealerships and charging stations have been targeted nationwide in protest against electric carmaker CEO Elon Musk and his involvement with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which aims to slash wasteful spending and fraud within the federal government.

An Oregon Tesla dealership, located 10 miles south of Portland, was targeted by gunshots Thursday, damaging multiple cars and shattering windows, The Associated Press reported.

Earlier this month, a man was arrested after Molotov cocktails were thrown at a Tesla dealership in Salem, Oregon, the Salem Statesman-Journal reported.

In Massachusetts, several Tesla charging stations were set on fire.

When firefighters arrived, multiple Superchargers were “engulfed in flames and heavy, dark smoke,” according to Littleton police. More than half a dozen chargers were damaged.

Brookline police recently arrested a Boston man caught on video allegedly tagging Tesla vehicles with Musk decals and sharing the footage on X.

When confronted, the man said he had the right to deface the property of others, citing “free speech,” according to police.

“We’d like to speak with the suspect so we can educate him on the difference between ‘free speech,’ and vandalizing property belonging to others,” police wrote in a Facebook post prior to his arrest.

Last week, the U.S. attorney’s office in Colorado charged 42-year-old Lucy Grace Nelson, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, after police say they found a number of explosives and concerning messages at a Colorado Tesla dealership.

Nelson was charged with one count of malicious destruction of property, explosives or incendiary devices use, felony criminal mischief and criminal attempt to commit felonies, according to a statement from the Loveland Police Department.

The events come amid a string of apparent protests against Musk and DOGE.

Indivisible, an organization founded by former Democratic congressional staffers, previously urged liberals to protest Musk’s actions, going so far as providing a “tool kit” with recommendations on how to “take the fight to Elon.”

The manual details steps for planning and executing demonstrations at Tesla dealerships, showrooms and factories.

In an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., voiced concerns over lawmakers’ rhetoric about Musk.

“People have said that they know that Elon Musk, hitting him, attacking him, is actually good for their polling numbers,” Luna said. “So, they’re going to continue to do it.”

She also noted Musk’s comments while speaking with podcaster Joe Rogan about the increase in threats on his life.

Biden ripped for stepping into trans controversy after he threw gas on the fire as POTUS

Former President Joe Biden posted on X Saturday to celebrate International Women’s Day, and many Americans called out his administration’s record of enabling transgender athletes to compete in women’s sports.

“Like so many of you, I’m celebrating the incredible women in my life today. International Women’s Day is a time to recognize the achievements of women and girls everywhere and recommit our efforts to advance dignity, opportunity, and equality for all. When women and girls succeed, communities, economies, and democracies succeed,” Biden wrote.

During Biden’s presidency, he signed an executive order that allowed trans athletes to compete in women’s and girls sports, attempted to rewrite Title IX to allow it and even tried to punish states for taking their own steps to combat the issue.

Since Biden left office, Democrats in Congress and state governments have done plenty to combat Republican attempts to address the issue.

There was a wave of criticism against his celebratory post Saturday.

Critics included U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, who posted a screenshot of the House of Representatives’ vote on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which 203 Democrats voted against. The bill was then filibustered in the Senate when 45 Democrats voted against it.

XX-XY Athletics, the sportswear brand dedicated to promoting the activism of protecting female athletes from trans inclusion, lambasted Biden for “eroding” women’s rights.

Other Americans shared their own thoughts.

“They don’t succeed when men take over their spaces,” one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, “Is that why you humiliated our women by putting men in women’s sports? Asking for my Sisters and Daughters ? Or do you even know you did it?”

“Hey Joe. What is a woman? Is your way to celebrate it by letting men into women’s sports? Taking away the identity of actual women?” another user wrote.

Biden’s record of allowing trans athletes to compete in women’s and girls sports became one of the Democratic Party’s biggest vulnerabilities in the 2024 election.

DEMOCRAT VOTERS ABANDON PARTY AFTER AOC, JEFFRIES SAY ANTI-TRANS ATHLETE BILL EMPOWERS SEXUAL PREDATORS

On the first day of his presidency in January 2021, Biden signed an executive order on “Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation.”

The order included a section that said, “Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.”

In March 2023, Democrats advocated for a transgender bill of rights, proposing a resolution “recognizing that it is the duty of the Federal Government to develop and implement a Transgender Bill of Rights.” The resolution specifically called for federal law to ensure that biological men can “participate in sports on teams and in programs that best align with their gender identity; [and] use school facilities that best align with their gender identity.”

In April 2023, Biden’s Department of Education proposed a rule change that would have punished schools for preventing trans athletes from competing in women’s sports.

The proposition was titled “Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance: Sex-Related Eligibility Criteria for Male and Female Athletic Teams.”

The rule would have outlawed individual states from banning participation in single-sex sports by gender identity rather than just sex. There are 23 states in the U.S. that have legislation in place to restrict trans athletes from competing as females in public school sports.

In April 2024, Biden issued a sweeping Title IX rewrite that issued a ban on “sex” discrimination in schools based on gender identity, sexual orientation and “pregnancy or related conditions.” The rule took effect Aug. 1, and, for the first time, the law stated that discrimination based on sex includes conduct related to a person’s gender identity.

It led to more than two dozen attorneys general suing over the rule, arguing it would conflict with some of their state laws that block transgender students from participating in women’s sports.

The Supreme Court struck down an emergency request by Biden to enforce the rewrite in states that defied the rewrite in August.

When the election came around in Novemeber, Biden’s record on the issue may have backfired on his party because it lost the White House, Senate and House of Representatives.

national exit poll conducted by the Concerned Women for America legislative action committee found that 70% of moderate voters saw the issue of “Donald Trump’s opposition to transgender boys and men playing girls’ and women’s sports and of transgender boys and men using girls’ and women’s bathrooms” as important to them.

Additionally, 6% said it was the most important issue of all, while 44% said it was “very important.”

After President Donald Trump returned to office, he signed an executive order banning trans athletes in women’s and girls sports Feb. 5. However, many Democrat-led states have refused to comply with the order despite most Democrats being opposed to it.

A recent New York Times/Ipsos survey found that the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, don’t think transgender athletes should be permitted to compete in women’s sports. Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% said that biological males who identify as women should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports.

Of the 1,025 people who identified as Democrats or leaning Democrat, 67% said that transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.

Illegal aliens with long rap sheets in ‘sanctuary’ city accused of heinous crime

Two murder suspects who allegedly killed a good Samaritan in Los Angeles County while he was attempting to stop them from stealing his neighbor’s catalytic converter were in the country illegally and have lengthy criminal records, Fox News has learned.

Wilber Alberto Rabanales and Jose Christian Saravia Sanchez were arrested by police in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood Thursday for the Feb. 25 murder of Juan Miguel Sanchez.

The incident was caught on surveillance video.

Rabanales, a Guatemalan national, has been arrested at least 15 times in the last few years in the county, predominantly on gun charges, grand theft, burglary and drug charges, police sources told Fox News.

He has multiple grand theft arrests, mostly for stealing catalytic converters, and past charges for multiple DUIs, conspiracy, felon in possession of a gun, possession of burglary tools, possession of meth, possession of stolen property and felony hit-and-run during a police pursuit.

Sanchez has been arrested at least a dozen times, mostly for grand theft, gun charges, drugs, burglary, kidnapping, possession of meth and possession of burglary tools, the sources said.

Fox News Digital has reached out to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

The victim was shot in the chest after he confronted the suspects while they were allegedly attempting to steal the catalytic converter, FOX 11 reported.

The suspects escaped in a car and were later arrested at a motel in Cudahy, California, about 15 miles east of Inglewood.

The victim’s sister, Susana Sanchez, said he would have turned 49 April 4.

Angel Reese fires back at conservative over WNBA salary protest

WNBA player Angel Reese ignited a social media firestorm after claiming players are prepared to sit out games to demand higher salaries during her podcast Friday.

Reese and fellow WNBA player DiJonai Carrington addressed the next WNBA collective bargaining agreement.

“I’ve got to get in the meetings because I’m hearing like, ‘If y’all don’t give us what we want, we sitting out,'” Reese said.

Carrington added, “That’s a possibility.”

Reese has griped about her financial situation in the past.

The WNBA don’t pay my bills at all. I don’t even think it pays one of my bills. Literally,” Reese said.

Reese’s comments incited heated debate on social media about a WNBA player strike resulting in higher salaries. The WNBA has never turned a profit in its existence and has been subsidized by the NBA.

Reese got in on the discussion when she called out conservative influencer AKA on X for a post that Reese said falsely claimed she demanded to be paid as much as NBA players.

“I never said anything about the NBA. We are prepared to stay at the negotiating table for as long as it takes,” Reese said.

AKA’s original post has since been deleted.

Reese signed a four-year, $324,383 rookie contract ahead of her first WNBA season in 2024. She made under $75,000 in her first year and will make less than that in 2025.

In October, Reese admitted she couldn’t afford to pay her bills based on that salary in an Instagram live video.

“I’m living beyond my means. Hating pays them bills, baby. I just hope you know the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” she said. “I don’t even think that pays  of my bills. Literally, I’m trying to think of my rent for where I stay at. Let me do the math real quick. I don’t even know my (WNBA) salary, $74,000?”

Reese said she is paying $8,000 for rent.

“Babe, if y’all thought… That WNBA check don’t pay a thing,” she added. “Did that even pay my car note? … I wouldn’t even be able to eat a sandwich with that. I wouldn’t even be able to eat. I wouldn’t be able to live.”

The WNBA players union opted out of its current collective bargaining agreement in October, two years before its expiration.

The current CBA will still cover the 2025 season, so the two sides have a year to negotiate a new agreement.

Expert explains what likely happened as Gene Hackman lived with wife’s body for days

Gene Hackman may not have realized his wife, Betsy Arakawa Hackman, was dead during his final weeks due to his advanced Alzheimer’s, according to forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden.

The legendary actor died due to hypertensive atherosclerosis cardiovascular disease, with Alzheimer’s disease as a significant contributing factor, New Mexico officials confirmed Friday.

Hackman likely survived alone in the home for about a week, until he died around Feb. 18, which was the last time activity was recorded on his pacemaker.

GENE HACKMAN DIED OF HEART DISEASE, ABOUT ONE WEEK AFTER WIFE DIED OF HANTAVIRUS: INVESTIGATORS

“I think what [happened] here is he didn’t realize it and … didn’t understand that she was dead. He didn’t understand that he needed to call 911,” Dr. Baden told Fox News Digital.

“It sounds like he’s kind of wandered around, was able to drink water from … [the] kitchen sink or even get some food out of the refrigerator … [he] probably couldn’t cook anything but could eat bread or something if he was hungry,” he explained.

Hackman’s wife, a classical pianist, died due to Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, which is transmitted from animals to humans and is commonly found in rodents, the New Mexico Department of Health confirmed. Her autopsy determined the manner of death as natural. Authorities believe she died on or about Feb. 11.

WHAT IS HANTAVIRUS, THE CAUSE OF GENE HACKMAN’S WIFE’S DEATH?

Leading up to their mysterious deaths, the actor’s wife appeared to be the primary caretaker of Hackman, according to Dr. Baden.

“It looks like she was really taking good care of him,” he noted. “She goes first and then … pointing to the evidence that was presented for about six, seven days – 11th to the 17th — when they [knew] that something [had] happened to him.”

GENE HACKMAN’S 5 MOST MEMORABLE HOLLYWOOD ROLES, FROM ‘THE FRENCH CONNECTION’ TO ‘SUPERMAN’

Chief Medical Investigator Dr. Heather Jarrell performed a full autopsy on Hackman the day after his body was discovered, which showed “severe heart disease, including multiple surgical procedures involving the heart, evidence of prior heart attacks, and severe changes of the kidneys due to chronic high blood pressure.”

She added, “Examination of the brain showed advanced Alzheimer’s disease as well as blood vessel changes in the brain secondary to chronic high blood pressure.”

GENE HACKMAN DEATH INVESTIGATION TIMELINE: DETECTIVES WORKING ‘BACKWARDS’ TO DETERMINE HOW COUPLE DIED

Jarrell noted that Hackman’s pacemaker data indicated an “abnormal rhythm of atrial fibrillation” on Feb. 18. She said it was “reasonable to conclude” Arakawa died the week before Hackman, with the actor’s death likely on Feb. 18.

“Based on the circumstances, it is reasonable to conclude that [Arakawa] passed away first, with February 11th being the last time that she was known to be alive,” Jarrell said.

Fox News Digital medical contributor, Dr. Marc Siegel added that if Hackman’s Alzheimer’s was “severe,” he wouldn’t have realized his wife was dead.

“If he was incapable of calling 911, and getting her seen, and just sat there for a week, then he either went into a state of great despondency or was somehow incapacitated himself,” Dr. Siegel remarked. “Or his Alzheimer’s was so severe that he was incapable of even noticing what was going on.”

Meanwhile, when asked if authorities believed Hackman was able to live on his own and survive after his wife died, Chief Medical Investigator Dr. Jarrell noted that the Oscar-winning actor was in “a very poor state of health.”

“Mr. Hackman showed evidence of advanced Alzheimer’s disease,” Jarrell said. “I’m not aware of what his normal daily functioning capability was. He was in a very poor state of health, and he had significant heart disease. And I think ultimately that is what resulted in his death.”

Detectives initially described the couple’s deaths as “suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation,” according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital.

LISTEN: GENE HACKMAN 911 CALL

Officials confirmed that no external trauma was seen on either Hackman or Arakawa, and New Mexico authorities promptly launched a criminal investigation into their deaths.

Hackman and Arakawa previously tested negative for carbon monoxide, Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed last week. Their residence was tested for the colorless, odorless gas and was cleared by the Santa Fe City Fire Department after authorities were unable to find evidence of a carbon monoxide leak or poisoning.

Social media star Livvy Dunne’s gymnastics career may have just ended without warning

LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne missed her senior night Friday.

The 22-year-old New Jersey native announced in an Instagram post she has an “avulsion fracture of my patella,” which cost her Friday night’s meet.

“It absolutely breaks my heart not to get the opportunity to compete in the (Pete Maravich Assembly Center) one last time,” Dunne wrote.

Dunne has not competed since Jan. 24 against Arkansas, but she could return for NCAAs next month. A typical recovery time for the kneecap injury is at least three months, but it could also take up to half a year.

The Cleveland Clinic defines an avulsion fracture as an injury when “a small piece of bone attached to a tendon or ligament gets pulled away from the main part of the bone.”

Friday marked No. 2-ranked LSU’s final home meet of the season, a 198.575-197.175 victory over No. 10 Georgia.

Ousted Democrat senator blames Kamala Harris for his loss in brutal takedown

Former U.S. Senator Jon Tester, D-Mont., linked his 2024 Senate loss to ex-Vice President Kamala Harris’ poor performance in the state.

Tester, who lost to former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy in that race, declared on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” that the woke politics embraced by the top of the ticket are what doomed his performance in Montana.

“And the top of the ticket did not perform because I don’t think the top of the ticket embraced the issues that Americans were talking about,” he said. “We got wrapped up in all the cancel culture crap.”

13-YEAR-OLD CANCER SURVIVOR EARNS STANDING OVATION AS HE BECOMES SECRET SERVICE AGENT DURING TRUMP SPEECH

Tester had served three terms as the Democratic U.S. Senator in Montana, which has consistently voted for the Republican presidential candidate for decades.

The ex-senator has taken a more moderate stance on issues during his time in the Senate, openly breaking with the Biden-Harris administration on several issues throughout the years. The Democrat also withheld an endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris after she became the party’s nominee.

Both Maher and Tester agreed on the need for the Democratic Party to abandon its far-left leanings and “court the center” as the best way to rebuild and present an alternative to the GOP under Trump.

He said, “Yeah, you go to the place where the people are, and that way those disenfranchised Republicans have a place to land because they don’t think the other party’s crazy.”

Tester added, “And if they’re able to do that, and you do that by talking about common sense stuff that people deal with every day.”

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP CONCLUDES REMARKS AFTER DECLARING ‘AMERICA’S MOMENTUM IS BACK’

Maher then asked Tester why a more moderate Democratic lawmaker like him couldn’t win his election.

Though he never named her outright, Tester told host Bill Maher that Harris’ progressive stances and own loss in Montana dragged his performance in the state down.

“If you want to know the truth, the top of the ticket lost by what? 30-some points?  And the truth is the top of the ticket has to at least be competitive if you’re gonna win in a red state or even a purple state.”

In 2024, Donald Trump won Montana by 20 points, 58 percent to 38 percent. Sheehy beat Tester by seven points, 52 percent to 45 percent.

Fellow guest panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin agreed with Tester’s point that cancel culture sunk the party in Montana, adding that “identity politics” did so as well.

Reps for Harris did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Vanna White reveals surprising number of days off she gets each year on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

“Wheel of Fortune’s” Vanna White made a surprising revelation about what her work schedule is like at the long-running game show.

During an appearance Wednesday on “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” White, 68, who has co-hosted “Wheel of Fortune” 42 years, set the record straight after the radio broadcast’s co-host, Nate Marino, told her he had only recently learned the hit series didn’t air live every night.

“We film about 34 days a year,” White said. “That’s it.”

“But [we film] six shows a day. Come on. You could feel bad for me,” she added as the hosts expressed their amazement.

“I do not feel sorry for you one bit,” Duran quipped. “That sounds like a great job.”

“That’s six different dresses a day,” exclaimed co-host Danielle Monaro.

“It is,” White said with a smile.

A post shared by Elvis Duran & The Morning Show (@elvisduranshow)

Earlier in the show, White noted she had worn over 8,000 dresses during her time on “Wheel of Fortune,” donning a different gown for each episode. For decades, the TV personality had never repeated a dress until one instance in 2020, due to a production mistake.

After that, White and the production crew reportedly established extra precautions to ensure that would not happen again.

Meanwhile, Marino continued to grapple with his astonishment over White’s filming schedule.

“So weird. You have 331 days off a year?” he asked her.

“He’s doing the math,” Duran noted.

“Yes, I guess so,” White said as the hosts laughed.

“And no one deserves it more than you,” Duran said. “You’re just the best.”

The “Vanna Speaks” author made her debut on “Wheel of Fortune” in 1982. White co-hosted the game show alongside Pat Sajak until his retirement last year.

Sajak’s final episode aired June 7, almost a year after he announced June 12, 2023, he was leaving “Wheel of Fortune.” The legendary host returned to “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” Oct. 7 for his final farewell.

In June 2023, “Wheel of Fortune” announced longtime “American Idol” host Ryan Seacreast would replace Sajak after his retirement.

After a clip from White’s appearance was posted on the “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” Instagram account, fans shared their reactions to her revelation in the comments.

“34 days of work in a year and your net worth is over 80 million!!! Youuuu WIN!!,” one social media user wrote.

“An American icon if ever there was one!” another added.

“This is why she looks 40.. She’s barely worked a day in her life, she’s cracked the code… the fountain of youth,” one fan wrote.

During White’s appearance on “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” Duran noted there must have been “a little bit of an adjustment” after Sajak’s departure.

“And not just for me,” White agreed. “For everybody who watched for 41 years [that] Pat and I have been doing the show. And then Pat decided to retire, and he’s very happy. I saw him a couple of weeks ago. He looks great.

“And Ryan took over, and he’s doing a great job. And he said, ‘Look, no one can ever replace Pat Sajak. I’m just here to fill in.'”

“I feel like you should be in charge now because, like, you’re Vanna White,” Monaro told White. “Like, ‘You listen to me, Ryan Seacrest.’”

“I think maybe he would listen to me, but I don’t have anything to say,” White said with a smile. “He’s doing a fine job.”
