At least five people were killed and more than a dozen were injured after a group of attackers opened fire on a bus in Jerusalem Monday morning, paramedics said.

The shooting unfolded at a busy intersection in northern Jerusalem, on a road that leads to Jewish settlements located in east Jerusalem.

FIVE IDF SOLDIERS KILLED, 14 WOUNDED IN GAZA ROADSIDE BOMBING

Israeli media reported that the two attackers boarded a bus and opened fire. Paramedics said 15 other people were injured and six are in serious condition.

Police said two attackers were “neutralized” soon after the shooting began but have not released additional information about the attackers’ identities.

Paramedics who responded to the scene said the area was chaotic and covered in broken glass, with people wounded and lying unconscious on the road and a sidewalk near the bus stop.

The deadly attack comes as the ongoing war in Gaza approaches two years since the Oct. 7 massacre. The war in Gaza has sparked a surge of violence in both the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Israel. Palestinian militants have attacked and killed Israelis in Israel and the West Bank, while there has also been a rise in settler violence against Palestinians.

A haunting new video shows the last moments of a Ukrainian refugee’s life before she was stabbed to death on a Charlotte light rail train last month.

The surveillance footage, released by the Carlotte Area Transit System (CATS), shows 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska boarding the Lynx Bline line just after 9:45 p.m. on Friday, August 22.

The footage shows Zarutska in her pizzeria uniform while scrolling on her phone. A man in a red hoodie is seen sitting behind her.

Around four minutes later, the man pulls out a knife and begins stabbing Zarutska three times, including at least once in the neck.

Zarutska, who had fled war-town Ukraine, grabs her neck as blood spills onto the floor. Authorities later pronounced her dead at the scene.

The video shows the suspect walk through the rail car, take off his sweatshirt, and wait by the doors as passengers look on.

The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Decarlos Brown, was arrested shortly after the stabbing and hospitalized before being arrested on a charge of first-degree murder

Records obtained by The New York Post showed that Brown has a history of arrests going back more than a decade, including charges of felony larceny, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and communicating threats. Police said Brown and Zarutska did not know each other and the attack had been random.

Zarutska’s death has renewed calls for action on public safety in Charlotte. Members of the Charlotte City Council expressed concern after Zarutska’s murder about violence on the city’s transit system.

Rep. Brenden Jones, a Republican who represents the area, blamed Zarutska’s death on “the result of decades of Democrat Das and Sheriffs putting their woke agendas above public safety.”

Trump reacts to raid at Hyundai plant as South Korea makes plan to get workers back

President Donald Trump said Sunday that while U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was right to arrest South Korean immigrants working illegally at a Hyundai battery plant in Georgia, the U.S. should consider letting foreign experts temporarily stay to train Americans in advanced industries.

Homeland Security Investigations said 475 people — mostly South Koreans — were arrested at the under-construction battery plant. Hyundai said it owns the site but insisted none of the workers were directly employed by the company.

When asked about the ICE operation on Sunday, Trump told reporters the U.S. needs experts who know how to build batteries to help train Americans with no such experience.

“If you don’t have people in this country right now that know about batteries, maybe we should help them along…,” Trump said, adding that industries like shipbuilding and computer manufacturing also need skilled trainers. “So, we’re going to look at that whole situation. We have a lot of industries that we don’t have any more, and we’re going to have to train people.”

SOUTH KOREA REACHES DEAL WITH US TO RELEASE WORKERS DETAINED AFTER IMMIGRATION RAID

He continued to explain that the best way to train people is to bring people in who know what they are doing, while also letting them stay in the U.S. for a little while to help.

Still, Trump said ICE was right to arrest those in the country illegally. “We do have to work something out where we bring in experts so that our people can be trained so that they can do it themselves,” he said.

Later on Truth Social, Trump urged foreign companies investing in the U.S. to respect immigration laws while pledging to make it “quickly and legally possible” for them to bring in skilled workers.

“Your Investments are welcome, and we encourage you to LEGALLY bring your very smart people, with great technical talent, to build World Class products, and we will make it quickly and legally possible for you to do so,” he wrote. “What we ask in return is that you hire and train American Workers. Together, we will all work hard to make our Nation not only productive, but closer in unity than ever before. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

On Sunday, the South Korean government reached a deal with the U.S. to secure the release of hundreds of migrant workers detained at the factory.

President Lee Jae Myung’s office said South Korea will send a charter plane to bring the workers back to South Korea in the coming days.

Still, South Korea’s government expressed “concern and regret” over the raid.

Homeland Security Investigations chief Steven Schrank said some workers had crossed the border illegally, while others overstayed visas or entered under waivers that barred them from working. Many were employed by subcontractors at the site.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was seen pushing a Buffalo Bills fan after a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins on Sunday night.

Jackson threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Hopkins late in the third quarter. Somehow, the veteran wide receiver came up with the one-handed catch. Baltimore took a 34-19 lead as the third quarter ended.

The NBC broadcast showed a fan sitting near the field smack Hopkins and Jackson on the helmet as they came close to the barrier. The star quarterback pushed the fan back.

There was no penalty assessed on the play. Jackson seemed to have collected his emotions after he got back to the Ravens’ bench. Hopkins didn’t react to the fan.

“I’m not excusing … I know there’s no way you’re allowed to go after fans in the stands, almost no matter what happens,” NBC broadcaster Cris Collinsworth said. “But sometimes that gets a little ridiculous too.”

Ravens star Derrick Henry was also dominating on the ground through three quarters with 129 rushing yards and a touchdown.

J.J. Watt has been busy since he retired from the NFL after the 2022 season.

He joined CBS Sports as an NFL analyst and became a minority investor in Burnley FC, which earned a promotion to the Premier League. On Sunday, Watt made his debut in the booth for CBS.

NFL fans immediately noticed that something was different about Watt. He switched up his haircut during the year, departing from the famous crew cut he sported his entire playing career. CBS Sports called it “feathered and lethal.”

He was on the call with Ian Eagle for a game between the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers. Watt’s brother, T.J., plays for the Steelers.

CBS announced that Watt would be a color commentator for games starting in the 2025 season.

“There is nothing better than the energy and excitement of being in the stadium on game day in the NFL,” he said in a statement earlier this year. “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to return to that atmosphere each week, working with one of the best in Ian. While I certainly miss delivering hits on the field, it will be nice to leave the stadium without taking any, unless Ian decides to try something crazy.”

Dallas star ‘can’t believe’ what he saw from Micah Parsons in Packers uniform

Micah Parsons’ first sack as a member of the Green Bay Packers left his former Dallas Cowboys teammate Trevon Diggs in disbelief.

The Packers had a 27-13 statement win against the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon, and their defense, featuring Parsons for the first time, played a big part. In the fourth quarter, Parsons’ first tackle as a Packer was a sack on Lions quarterback Jared Goff, and Lambeau Field erupted as their new star edge rusher made his presence felt.

While Packers fans loved every second of the play, Diggs voiced his displeasure on social media.

“This can’t be real,” he wrote above a video of the play. “Wake me up from the dream.”

Diggs and Parsons were close friends on the Cowboys’ defense, and Diggs was among those who immediately reacted to the bombshell trade that sent the four-time Pro Bowler to Green Bay.

Diggs posted a broken-heart emoji when the news went public and called Parsons the “best in the world” as he congratulated him on signing a four-year, $188 million contract extension with the Packers.

While Parsons prepared for his Packers debut, Diggs played against the Philadelphia Eagles to kick off the NFL season Thursday. The Cowboys made it tough for their division rival, but the Eagles pulled out a 24-20 win.

Perhaps the loss, coupled with seeing Parsons thrive in Green Bay as the Packers get off to a hot start, is stinging the Cowboys’ top cornerback in Week 1.

The Packers’ defense sacked Goff four times in this NFC North battle as the Lions’ offense struggled to find consistency early in their campaign. Goff was still efficient, going 31 of 39 for 225 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the loss.

Meanwhile, Parsons’ new quarterback, Jordan Love, threw with confidence, going 16 of 22 for 188 yards with two touchdown passes to Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft.

While Parsons notched his first sack of the year, fellow edge rusher Rashan Gary added 1.5 sacks and seven tackles in the victory.

Maryland Governor Wes Moore (D) shocked NBC “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker on Sunday with his announcement about whether he intends to run for president in the 2028 election.

Speculation has swirled that Moore would run for president, and the Maryland governor is up for reelection in 2026. When asked if Moore intends to serve a full term if reelected, he said yes. When Welker pressed if he would not be running for president, Moore ruled out a presidential run in the next election.

“Yes, I’m going to be serving a full term. I’m excited about re-election. I’m exciting about what I’m gonna be able to do for the people of Maryland,” Moore said.

“Do you rule out a run for president, governor?” Welker shot back.

Yeah, I’m not running for president,” Moore replied.

“You rule it out? Yes. You completely rule it out?” Welker asked.

Moore proceeded to list his accomplishments as governor and said he looks forward to continuing to work leading Maryland.

“I’m so excited about what we’re doing, that we’ve gone from 43rd in the country in unemployment to now one of the lowest unemployment rates. We’ve had amongst the fastest drops in violent crime anywhere in the United States of America. Our population is growing, Maryland is moving, and so I’m really excited about going back in front of the people of my state and asking for another term,” Moore said.

Maryland’s unemployment rate was 3.4% as of July 2025, slightly higher than the previous month, but tied for 14th lowest among all 50 states. Baltimore saw 201 homicides in 2024, according to police data. Its homicide rate represented a ten-year low. However, Maryland’s violent crime rate was 17.1% higher than the national average.

Moore was just one of several names speculated to run for the Democratic nomination in 2028, other prominent Democrats thought to be potential candidates include Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttiegieg and 2024 Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. New York “squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is also thought to be mulling a presidential run.

As police hunt a killer, other odd stories reportedly emerge from Burning Man festival

This year’s Burning Man festival was reportedly marred by a string of shocking incidents, from a surprise birth to a possible electrocution, in addition to the homicide of a Russian national at the famous gathering in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.

A Utah couple who attended Burning Man, held this year from Aug. 24 to Sept. 1, left the festival as new parents and did not even know they were expecting.

Kayla Thompson, 37, woke up in their recreational vehicle on Aug. 27 with abdominal pain she mistook for cramps, FOX 2 reported, citing her sister-in-law Lacey Paxman.

Thompson, who said she had no idea she was pregnant, gave birth in their RV to their daughter, Aurora, who weighed 3 pounds and 9.7 ounces. Thompson’s family said she had experienced a cryptic pregnancy, a rare condition where pregnancy goes unnoticed until late in the term or delivery, according to FOX 2.

Good Samaritans at the festival rushed to assist with the baby’s delivery, including an OB-GYN who responded to the scene so quickly that he arrived in his underwear, FOX 2 reported.

“It just shows like nobody cared about getting things in place,” Paxman told FOX 2.
“…Nobody cared what they were wearing or, you know, not wearing. They were just there to help this beautiful miracle, you know, come together so beautifully.”

In another startling incident, James “JP” Patrick was meditating on the desert floor on Burning Man’s final night when he was reportedly struck by a Tesla Cybertruck. He was airlifted out of the desert and underwent emergency surgery. His wife, Jade Patrick, said she expects to face a $50,000 medical bill for the helicopter transport, news outlet SFGate reported.

Another man was similarly airlifted from this year’s Burning Man after he reportedly stepped in a puddle of water and was possibly electrocuted.

He was brought to an external medical provider for additional treatment, FOX 11 reported.

MINIVAN PLOWS THROUGH CROWD AT PENNSYLVANIA FESTIVAL, INJURING THREE PEOPLE

The incidents have made headlines as authorities continue to investigate the death of Vadim Kruglov, a 37-year-old Russian national who was found “lying in a pool of blood” at the event. Officials have indicated that his death appears to be an isolated incident.

Pershing County Sheriff Jerry Allen’s office told Fox News Digital there was “no update” on the case on Sunday. Police have not yet named a suspect in the killing.

The annual Burning Man gathering draws tens of thousands of attendees, turning the desert into a temporary city filled with themed camps, massive art installations and ceremonial fires. Last year, the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office reported that 28 people had been arrested at the event, up from 13 arrests in 2023, the Reno Gazette Journal reported.
