General Situation
A cold front has moved across the coast of Guangdong. The associated intense northeast monsoon is affecting the region.
Forecast Description
Mainly cloudy. One or two showers at first. Becoming cool appreciably overnight. The minimum temperature tomorrow morning will be about 17 degrees. Very dry with sunny intervals during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 23 degrees. Fresh to strong northerly winds, occasionally gale force offshore and on high ground at first. Winds will moderate later tomorrow, visibility relatively low in some areas.
Mainly fine and very dry in the following couple of days, with a rather large temperature difference between day and night. Relatively humid in the latter part of next week.

Strong winds are expected from the north. The public should beware of the possible danger brought by rough seas.
Weather Warning Information
The Strong Monsoon Signal is now in force. Strong winds with mean speed exceeding 40 kilometres per hour are expected from the north. Gusts will occasionally reach gale force.
In the past hour ending 7:30 p.m., the maximum sustained winds recorded at Waglan Island and Cheung Chau were 64 and 48 kilometres per hour with maximum gusts 79 and 80 kilometres per hour respectively.
1. If you are not well sheltered from the north, you are advised to take precautions against strong gusty winds. Flower pots and other objects likely to be blown away should be taken indoors.
2. Small craft owners should make arrangements for the safety of their boats. Make sure that all deck fittings are firmly fastened.
3. Since sea state is very rough, you are advised to stay away from the shoreline and not to engage in water sports. Conditions are particularly rough over the offshore waters.
