General Situation
An intense northeast monsoon is affecting the coast of Guangdong. It is very dry over the region. Locally, temperatures this morning were generally about four to five degrees lower than those of yesterday. Besides, under the influence of sand and dust weather, visibility is relatively low over parts of Guangdong.
Forecast Description
Very dry with sunny intervals. Visibility relatively low in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 25 degrees during the day. Fresh northerly winds at first, strong offshore and occasionally reaching gale force on high ground. Winds will moderate later.
Mainly fine and very dry in the next couple of days, with a rather large temperature difference between day and night. Relatively humid in the latter part of this week.

The Strong Monsoon Signal is now in force. Strong winds with mean speed exceeding 40 kilometres per hour are expected from the north. Gusts will occasionally reach gale force.
1. If you are not well sheltered from the north, you are advised to take precautions against strong gusty winds. Flower pots and other objects likely to be blown away should be taken indoors.
2. Those planning for water sports activities and operations at sea should take special care against high winds and rough sea conditions. Conditions are particularly rough over the offshore waters.
