The visibility at Waglan Island once fell below 1000 metres. It was hot with sunny periods during the day. The easterly airstream was gradually replaced by a southerly airstream in the afternoon. The southerly airstream will continue to affect the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. The weather will be relatively humid with a few showers, and hot during the day over the region. With the anticyclone aloft strengthening slightly early next week, showers will ease off and the weather will improve over the coast of Guangdong.
