General Situation
A humid southerly airstream affected the coast of Guangdong today. A band of clouds also covered the region. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with isolated showers. There was coastal fog in the morning and at night. The weather was hot with sunny periods during the day. Temperatures generally rose to 30 degrees or above. Under the influence of an anticyclone aloft, the weather is expected to be mainly fine, and hot during the day over the coast of southern China in the next couple of days. With the anticyclone aloft weakening and a trough of low pressure developing gradually over southern China, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the region in the middle and latter parts of this week.

Mainly cloudy. Coastal fog in the morning with a minimum temperature of around 26 degrees. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be about 31 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Moderate southerly winds.
