Terrorists’ favorite nightclub busted, illegal aliens arrested, US military members detained

Federal authorities announced Sunday that more than a hundred illegal immigrants were detained in a massive raid at an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs that officials say was “frequented by TdA and MS-13 terrorists.”

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Division led a multi-agency operation early Sunday morning and arrested 114 illegal immigrants at the venue that contained more than 200 people inside.

Authorities uncovered drugs, including pink cocaine, as well as evidence of prostitution and multiple firearms during the operation, according to the DEA.

“@DHSgov has taken more than 100 illegal aliens into custody,” DEA Rocky Mountain said in a post on X on Sunday. “Drugs and weapons have also been seized at this underground nightclub in Colorado Springs.”

BLUE SANCTUARY STATE OPERATING AS ‘CONTROL’ CENTER FOR VICIOUS MIGRANT GANG: ACTING DEA CHIEF

President Donald Trump commented on the raid in a Truth Social Post on Sunday.

“A big Raid last night on some of the worst people illegally in our Country — Drug Dealers, Murderers, and other Violent Criminals, of all shapes and sizes, and Judges don’t want to send them back to where they came from,” Trump wrote in the post. “If we don’t win this battle at the Supreme Court, our Country, as we know it, is FINISHED! It will be a Crime ridden MESS. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Attorney General Pamela Bondi applauded the operation, which included 300 officials across multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

“This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists,” Bondi said in a post on X. “Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department were also involved in the operation.

‘BRING IT ON’: SHERIFF PUSHES BACK AFTER BLUE STATE LEADERS SUE TO STOP IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT

In videos posted of the operation, U.S. Postal Service and IRS agents are seen arresting illegal aliens at the nightclub, showing the Trump administration using a whole-of-government approach to carrying out deportations.

Specifically, a U.S. Postal Service inspector and an agent with IRS Criminal Investigations were seen with alleged criminals in their custody.

DEA Acting Administrator Derek Maltz previously said Colorado has become “ground zero for some of the most violent criminals in America,” including Tren de Aragua’s leadership, Denver 7 reported.

One local official blamed the blue state’s leadership.

“Colorado without question has been a hub for illegal immigration due to the sanctuary policies of the city of Denver in conjunction with radical legislation (including this session) from the State Capitol affirming Colorado’s sanctuary status,” Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly told The Gazette, which first reported the story. “As the Sheriff of Douglas County I will do everything I can within Colorado law to support our federal partners. This, in turn, helps keep my community safe.”

Many of those detained in Sunday’s raid are expected to face federal immigration charges, according to DEA Rocky Mountain. At least two people were also arrested on existing warrants, Bondi said.

“#DEA partners and @DHSgov placed patrons (in the U.S. illegally) on buses for processing and likely eventual deportation,” DEA Rocky Mountain said.

About a dozen U.S. active-duty service members were also found at the club, special DEA Rocky Mountain agent Jonathan Pullen told multiple outlets. The service members were inside the club as patrons or working as armed security.

“I think that everybody that goes into a nightclub at 3 o’clock in the morning knows what they’re getting into,” Pullen told Denver 7. “The active duty servicemembers who were there will be dealt with by Army CID [Criminal Investigation Division]. They were on scene with us, and they are partners in this investigation.”

DEA Rocky Mountain confirmed to Fox News that those active duty service members found at the club have so far been detained and are not under arrest at this time.

“Colorado Springs is waking up to a safer city this Sunday morning,” Pullen said in a press briefing to local outlets.

“As we approach his 100 days in office @POTUS Trump’s directive to make America safe again is achieving results!” Bondi said on X.

Colorado Springs Chief of Police Adrian Vasquez said the department participated in the operation “solely to address criminal violations” affecting community safety and is not authorized to conduct immigration enforcement under state law.

“I want to be clear that it is the responsibility of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) to investigate criminal activity and make arrests when appropriate. This operation was the result of a months-long investigation into serious criminal activity in our community,” Vasquez said. “While the investigation is ongoing, arrests for these criminal violations are expected. CSPD is aware that our federal partners also detained multiple people for suspected immigration violations during the operation.”

Rubio calls out misleading deportation headline to TV anchor during live interview

Secretary of State Marco Rubio denied claims that three minor U.S. citizens, all under ten years old – and one with stage IV cancer, were deported without due process, calling the accusations “misleading.”

The Washington Post reported that three American citizens from two different families, aged two, four and seven, were deported along with their mothers from a Louisiana facility on Friday. The report alleged that the four-year-old child is suffering from stage-4 cancer and that the mother had no way of contacting their doctors, according to the family’s lawyer. Rubio pushed back against the claims that the children were deported, instead asserting that the children’s mothers, who were not in the country legally, opted to take their children with them.

“That’s a misleading headline. Three U.S. citizens, aged 4, 7 and 2 were not deported. Their mothers were legally deported, and the children went with their mothers. They can come back to their father or someone who wants to assume them. Ultimately, it was the mothers who were here illegally. You guys make it sound like ICE kicked down the door and grabbed the child and threw them on an airplane, and it’s misleading and that is not true,” Rubio said.

MIGRANT LAWYERS CLAIM TRUMP IS DEPORTING WITHOUT ‘DUE PROCESS,’ BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Trump appointee U.S. District Judge Terry A. Doughty, however, did not believe the federal government’s claims that the children were not in fact deported. In response to an emergency order filed Thursday night by the father of the two-year-old girl, the judge issued an order expressing his “strong suspicion that the government just deported a U.S. citizen with no meaningful process.” The toddler had accompanied her mother to an immigration meeting that would allow her to remain in their community called an Intensive Supervision Appearance Program, the family’s lawyers claimed.

“The government contends that this is all okay because the mother wishes that the child be deported with her, but the court doesn’t know that,” Doughty wrote.

The family’s lawyers say the girl’s father was only able to speak to her mother for one minute before their phone call was abruptly ended by ICE agents, and the girl was shipped off to Honduras with her mother the following morning.

DEMS FUME OVER ‘DUE PROCESS’ FOR ABREGO GARCIA DESPITE LONG HISTORY OF PARTY BUCKING THE LEGAL PRINCIPLE

Rubio remained firm that the only targets for deportations were the mothers in the US illegally, and that the children would be welcome to return if their fathers or another suitable guardian were to assume responsibility for them.

“If someone is in this country unlawfully, illegally that person gets deported. If that person is with a 2-year-old child and says I want to take my child with me, then you have two choices. You can say yes, of course, you can take your child whether they’re a citizen or not, because it is your child. Or say yes, you can go, but your child must stay behind. And then your headlines would read U.S. holding hostage 2-year-old, 4-year-old, 7 -year-old while mother deported,” Rubio said.

Mass shooting in US tourist hotspot leaves 1 dead, several injured

One person is dead and 11 others wounded after a gunman opened fire in the middle of a popular tourist spot in Myrtle Beach on Saturday night, according to law enforcement officials.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department shared that the shooting happened just before midnight on Saturday, in the heart of the city’s famed entertainment district, when officers noticed a “disturbance involving multiple individuals.”

During the altercation, officers reported that a person opened fire.

“At that time, based on the immediate threat, one of our officers responded by discharging their firearm,” officials shared in an update on their department’s Facebook page.

Police said 11 individuals were injured and are receiving medical treatment. The individual shot during the officer’s response has died from his injuries.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard confirmed the identity of the person shot to News13 as 18-year-old Jerrius Davis of Bennettsville.

The officer involved in the shooting was not injured, officials said.

Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Bethune told News13 that the swift action taken by the officer prevented further tragedy.

“Our officer saw what happened, and when he saw that an altercation was taking place and a gun was being shot, the officer responded very quickly and, in my opinion, saved lives,” Bethune told the outlet. “Last night could have been so much worse.”

Bethune added that she was on Ocean Boulevard about an hour before the shooting happened and wouldn’t have been if she felt unsafe.

“This was an isolated incident. We had a huge crowd on the boulevard late last night, and we can’t always control what people are going to do, but we also can’t just shut ourselves in and do nothing,” Bethune said. “This is a great place to visit. It’s not an unsafe place at all. And I’m not making light of what happened in any way.”

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., also shared her thoughts and said that she was “devastated” to hear about the “tragic shooting.”

“Devastated by the tragic shooting in Myrtle Beach. Our hearts are torn apart for the victims and their families,” Mace wrote in a post on X.

Suspect identified in car-ramming that killed 11 people, including a 5-year-old

A driver plowed a car into a crowd at a Filipino festival in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday night, killing at least 11 people and injuring more than two dozen others, authorities said Sunday.

Police say the victims who were killed ranged in age from 5 to 65.

A man driving a black Audi SUV rammed into people attending the Lapu Lapu Day block party shortly after 8 p.m., the Vancouver Police Department said.

Police identified the suspect as 30-year-old Kai-Ji Adam Lo, of Vancouver, who was arrested at the scene. Police ruled out terrorism in the ramming, saying that the suspect has a history of mental health issues.

“The person we have in custody does have a significant history of interactions with police and health care professionals related to mental health,” Vancouver Police Interim Chief Steve Rai told a news conference.

Police say Lo is facing eight counts of second-degree murder, has appeared in court, and remains in police custody.

Rai called the incident “the darkest day in Vancouver’s history.”

The festival was being held in a South Vancouver neighborhood. Video posted on social media showed victims and debris strewn across a long stretch of road, with at least seven people lying immobile on the ground. A black SUV with a crumpled front section could be seen in still photos from the scene.

James Cruzat, a Vancouver business owner, told The Associated Press that he was at the festival when he suddenly heard a car rev its engine. He said he then heard “a loud noise, like a loud bang” that he initially thought might be a gunshot and described seeing people on the road crying, running and screaming for help.

“So we tried to go there just to check what was really actually happening until we found some bodies on the ground,” Cruzat said. “Others were lifeless, others like, you know, injured.”

Cruzat said the aftermath he witnessed was unimaginable and “heartbreaking.”

“I couldn’t even imagine that it’s actually happening in real life, because normally we see that on TVs or movies,” he said. “But when you are in that kind of situation, it was really shocking. … You couldn’t do anything but to pray for them.”

Vancouver Mayor Kenneth Sim expressed condolences to the victims in a post on X and said that officials would provide more information when possible.

“I am shocked and deeply saddened by the horrific incident at today’s Lapu Lapu Day event,” Sim said. “Our thoughts are with all those affected and with Vancouver’s Filipino community during this incredibly difficult time.”

Prime Minister Mark Carney said he was “devastated” at the violence that unfolded at the festival.

“I offer my deepest condolences to the loved ones of those killed and injured, to the Filipino Canadian community, and to everyone in Vancouver. We are all mourning with you,” Carney wrote.

In an evening update, Carney said he spoke with Mayor Sim and would be there “to support the community as they heal from this tragedy.”

“I spoke with Mayor Sim this afternoon following the attack at last night’s Lapu Lapu festival. I offered my condolences and the federal government’s full support,” Carney wrote in a post on X. “We will be there for the people of Vancouver and the Filipino-Canadian community as you heal from this tragedy.”

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell also spoke about the attack and said the city shares “a special connection that transcends borders.”

“The people of Seattle and Vancouver share a special connection that transcends borders. I speak for all Seattleites when I express that our hearts are with the victims, survivors, and all those affected by this attack, and our city supports them in the aftermath of this tragedy,” Harrell wrote in a post on X.

Shedeur Sanders NFL draft prank call controversy yields stunning new development

The son of an Atlanta Falcons coach owned up to a prank call to Shedeur Sanders during the NFL Draft as the quarterback slid from a first-round projection to the fifth round.

Jax Ulbrich, the son of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, posted a statement on his Instagram account, apologizing to the former Colorado Buffaloes star.

“On Friday night, I made a tremendous mistake,” the post read. “Shedeur, what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing, and shameful. I’m so sorry I took away from your moment, it was childish and selfish.

“I could never imagine getting ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life and I made a terrible mistake and messed up with that moment. Thank you for accepting my call earlier today, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

The NFL confirmed to Fox News Digital earlier on Sunday that the league had launched a probe into the call.

The Falcons said that Jax Ulbrich had written the phone number down off of an iPad that had been left out in the open at his parents’ house.

“Earlier in the week, Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, unintentionally came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad while visiting his parents’ home and wrote the number down to later conduct a prank call. Jeff Ulbrich was unaware of the data exposure or any facets of the prank and was made aware of the above only after the fact,” the team said.

“The Atlanta Falcons do not condone this behavior and send our sincere apologies to Shedeur Sanders and his family, who we have been in contact with to apologize to, as well as facilitate an apology directly from Jax to the Sanders family.

“We have also been in contact with the NFL and will continue to cooperate fully with any inquiries we may receive from the NFL league office. We are thoroughly reviewing all protocols, and updating if necessary, to help prevent an incident like this from happening again.”

Sanders was subjected to at least two prank calls during the draft.

The Browns eventually selected Sanders with the No. 144 overall pick of the draft.

“It didn’t really have an impact on me, because it was just like, I mean, OK, like I don’t feed into negativity, or I don’t feed into that stuff.” Sanders told Cleveland media about the prank call, via ESPN. “You’ve seen on Deion [Sanders] Jr’s YouTube video. My reaction to it, I don’t – it is what it is. I think, of course, it’s childish. Of course, I feel like it was a childish act, but everybody does childish things here and there.”

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was spotted with President Donald Trump at his golf course in New Jersey on Sunday, a day before the team visits the White House.

A photo that made the rounds on social media showed Barkley sitting to Trump’s left. There were at least a dozen “Make America Great Again” hats sitting on the table directly in front of the Super Bowl champion NFL star and the president.

He flew back to Washington with Trump.

Barkley’s appearance with Trump came a few days after Jalen Hurts raised eyebrows when he was silent on a question about whether he would visit the White House with the team to celebrate their Super Bowl championship.

Appearing on the red carpet for the 2025 TIME100 gala in New York City on Thursday night, Hurts was asked whether he planned on visiting the White House for next week’s official visit on Monday.

“Um,” Hurts said before looking around. He never answered the question as the interviewer thanked him for his time.

NFL TRIES TO SEND MESSAGE TO SHEDEUR SANDERS, FATHER WITH DRAFT SLIDE, EX-NFL STAR SAYS

A White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital in early March that an invitation from the president had been sent and that the team had “enthusiastically accepted.” This followed the Eagles’ decision not to attend the White House in 2018 after winning the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl.

During that time, Trump rescinded the invitation to host the Eagles after several players said they would not participate in the visit because of his previous criticisms of national anthem protests.

But this month, Eagles team owner Jeffrey Lurie called it “a time-honored tradition” that the team was looking forward to.

Hurts didn’t exactly have a glowing statement on Trump’s decision to visit New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX.

Meanwhile, Barkley was at the J.P. Morgan Tech 100 Summit this month, which Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, attended with husband Jared Kushner, their son, Theodore, and Jared’s brother, Joshua.

Playboy twins detail troubling experience while living with Hugh Hefner

At 19 years old, former Playboy playmates – and twins – Karissa and Kristina Shannon’s lives took a drastic turn after moving into Hugh Hefner‘s Playboy mansion.

In a new interview, the twins, now 35, open up about the troubling experience they shared while living in the mansion with Hefner, who died in 2017, and fellow playmates, explaining how it led them down a dangerous web of addiction and sharing the steps they took to eventually find peace.

“We always say ‘Playboy’ will always be a part of our lives. We were ‘Playboy’ fans and we still are ‘Playboy’ fans. Even though it turned out to be very traumatic for us, there were also a lot of high points,” Karissa told People magazine.

From the get-go, the Florida natives said they were met with bouts of “extreme jealousy” from other playmates after Hefner showed favoritism toward them.

HOLLY MADISON RECALLS PLAYBOY FOUNDER HUGH HEFNER’S ‘INSECURITIES’: ‘HE HAD A JEALOUS STREAK’

“We got a lot of jealousy from the other playmates because we were twins. We were the first twins to each get our own months, which made Playboy history. We were the youngest playmates and the youngest girlfriends,” Kristina said.

“When we’re taking pictures, he would want to get in the middle of the twins to take a picture. Or he would be like, ‘Can you move the twins toward the front of the table? I want to sit next to them.’ So the girls started getting really jealous,” Karissa noted.

“It made Kristina cry. Kristina literally cried and wanted to leave the mansion when we were shooting. And I told her, ‘These girls are older. They know how to play the game better. But we’re pretty. We’re here. We’ve made it this far.’ And so we ended up staying and Kristina got through it, but there was so much bullying,” she added.

During their four-year stay at the mansion, Karissa said the experience “left a huge hole in both of our hearts and our spirits.”

“It really crumbled who we are, especially when [Hugh] took our religion away,” she explains. “Our believing in Jesus became a big problem, and losing that was just really big trauma that we dealt with. We had no family that was there to back us up like a lot of the girls.”

After moving out, the twins faced another wave of challenges, including loss and substance abuse.

“When we moved out, we had a couple of years where we went through this individuality phase,” Karissa said. “I feel like every set of twins goes through it, particularly in your early 20s. We were both into different things and trying to be individuals, because Hef really did force the twin thing on us, more than anyone else had ever. But we’ve always been extremely close. I believe we’re twin flames, closer than most twins.”

“Everyone was saying we were going through our ‘Anna Nicole phase'” Kristina said. “We gained weight. There was alcohol and pills. We were really unhealthy and lost and, even at points, suicidal. We had no one. It was just us trying to figure it out after losing ourselves.”

After hitting rock-bottom, the duo decided to move back to their home state of Michigan.

“We drove the whole way without stopping until we got to Michigan. I remember getting into Colorado and smelling that fresh air … it was just different,” Karissa said. “Being in nature desensitized us. We ended up being diagnosed with manic depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. Being outside the city helped us slow down.”

“We were totally just ready to be selfish for the first time. And we were all about God and praying constantly to Jesus,” she added. “We were literally praying and just trying to change our lives. And I feel like this is when we really grew up.”

“I feel like out of all of this, God was humbling us,” Kristina noted. “He was humbling us and letting us know, ‘I have another plan for you.’ He’s restoring us, and that’s what we feel like now. We are completely different people, but still ourselves.”

“We’re still the playful twins who did Playboy, but we care about other things now. We are all about organics. Everything we eat, all our food is organic. All our water’s alkaline, our sheets are organic,” she added.

These days, the twins continue to prioritize their mental and physical health the best way they can.

“We meditate every day together, and we’re into meal-prepping and not eating out, really self-care and just taking time for ourselves and learning how to be selfish, learning how to say no,” Karissa said.

“We went in our hearts, we went through our healing era, which took years. I didn’t think we would ever come out of it. But Michigan changed us. We love being in Michigan and then going to L.A. or Vegas for work,” Kristina added.

Damning report shows Black Hawk pilot ignored instructor before collision with packed jet

The pilot of the military Black Hawk helicopter that collided with a passenger airplane over Washington, D.C., in January ignored instructions to change course seconds before the crash, according to a new report.

The report, published by the New York Times on Sunday, detailed the Black Hawk’s exchanges with air traffic controllers in the lead-up to the disaster, which left 67 people dead.

According to the report, the Black Hawk pilot, Capt. Rebecca Lobach, was conducting her annual flight evaluation and her co-pilot, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, was serving as her flight instructor.

When air traffic controllers informed the Black Hawk that there was an airliner nearby, Lobach and Eaves acknowledged the message and requested to fly by “visual separation,” a common practice that allows aircraft to avoid collisions based on their own observations rather than following instructions from air traffic control.

55 VICTIMS IN WASHINGTON, DC MIDAIR COLLISION PULLED FROM POTOMAC RIVER AS RECOVERY OPERATION CONTINUES

“The Black Hawk was 15 seconds away from crossing paths with the jet. Warrant Officer Eaves then turned his attention to Captain Lobach. He told her he believed that air traffic control wanted them to turn left, toward the east river bank,” the Times wrote.

VP VANCE CALLS ON US ‘TO DO A BETTER JOB’ WITH AVIATION SAFETY AFTER ‘INCREDIBLY HEARTBREAKING’ DC PLANE CRASH

“Turning left would have opened up more space between the helicopter and Flight 5342, which was heading for Runway 33 at an altitude of roughly 300 feet. She did not turn left,” the report said.

Lobach, of Durham, North Carolina, served as an aviation officer in the Army beginning in July 2019, and had around 500 hours of flying time in the Black Hawk, the Army said in a release.

Lobach was assigned to the 12th Aviation Battalion in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Her awards included the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon, according to the Army.

She was also a White House military social aide in the Biden administration.

The third member of the flight crew, along with Lobach and Eaves, was Staff Sgt. Ryan O’Hara.

The crash instantly caused national scrutiny on air traffic control policies, with Transportation Sec. Sean Duffy opening an investigation.

Duffy announced plans in March to bolster airport air traffic control systems with the latest technology over the next four years, while also using artificial intelligence (AI) to identify “hot spots” where close encounters between aircraft occur frequently.

There have been 85 near-misses or close calls at Reagan National, according to a report from the National Travel Safety Board (NTSB). Close calls were identified as incidents when there are less than 200 feet of vertical separation and 1,500 feet of lateral separation between aircraft.

“We’re having near-misses, and if we don’t change our way, we’re going to lose lives,” Duffy told reporters at the time. “That wasn’t done. Maybe there was a focus on something other than safety, but in this administration, we are focusing on safety.”
