After 100 days in the White House, Americans have new request for President Trump

As President Donald Trump finishes the first 100 days of his second term, Americans from all over the country are giving him advice on what he should focus on next.

Americans in Washington, D.C., Detroit, Houston and other parts of the country told Fox News Digital there were a variety of issues that they want to see Trump tackle throughout the rest of his term. Some also offered him advice on how to be more successful in the office going forward.

Buffalo, N.Y., resident Patrick offered some positive encouragement to Trump, telling him, “Keep the money in our country. Go ahead with the tariffs because they’re going to work. Closing the border was the best thing you ever could have done. Drill, baby, drill.”

WATCH: ENGLISH IS AMERICA’S OFFICIAL LANGUAGE. BUT, IS IT TRANSLATING FOR EVERYONE?

However, some, like Denny from Detroit, said the president could soften his approach.

“Try to be more non-partisan. It can’t be that every Democrat is wrong, and every Republican is right. Someone has to have an ounce of sense in that Congress,” she told Fox News Digital.

Trump will mark 100 days in office on Tuesday, a period marked by his agenda to stem the tide of illegal immigration, cut wasteful government spending, and enact sweeping reciprocal tariffs on foreign countries – a move that has sent shockwaves throughout the global economy.

A new Fox News poll revealed that Trump receives his best approval marks on border security, as a 55% majority approves. That’s the only issue where his ratings are in positive territory. On immigration, a record high of 47% approve of Trump (48% disapprove), while a new low of 38% approve on the economy (56% disapprove). His worst ratings are on inflation (33% approve, 59% disapprove), followed by tariffs (33%-58%), foreign policy (40%-54%), taxes (38%-53%), and guns (41%-44%).

Looking forward, Americans told Fox what they want Trump to focus on next with his second-term agenda.

FOX NEWS POLL: TRUMP, REPUBLICANS AT RECORD-HIGH RATINGS AS DEMOCRATS FALTER

Ernest from Houston said, “Oh, more help for the veterans.”

Brian, who was visiting Knoxville, Tenn., said Trump should continue to focus on “cutting the budget.”

Houston resident, Dave, said he wanted Trump to achieve “peace in the world.”

He advised the president to “Look where all the wars are happening and just see what he can do to go ahead and get rid of that stuff.”

D.C. native Eric said, “Continue to work toward making things more affordable for the middle class.”

Janelle, who was visiting D.C. from Missouri, said she wanted Trump to continue focusing on the border.

“Yeah, I really hope that he continues to make sure the border is secure. I really appreciate that the illegal crossings have gone down quite a bit since he took office,” she said.

FOX NEWS POLL: VOTERS HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT DOGE, EVEN AS THEY SEE NEED FOR CUTS

Deano from Detroit told Trump to keep working on getting prices down. “Prices –gas prices, everything that’s affecting America,” he told Fox.

When asked for what advice she’d give Trump going forward, one Houston resident named Lynn told Trump to relax with his approach.

“Calming down,” she said. “I’m sorry, really. He’s too erratic and we need consistent, well-thought-out government. “

Fellow Houston resident, Dave, disagreed, advising Trump to “Keep going, stay on track, and don’t get off track.”

Eric in D.C. advised Trump to trust in God, stating, “Just be prayerful. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not into your own understanding. And in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct you.”

Reed, a college student from Detroit, shared religious advice for Trump as well, stating, “spread Christianity more. Spread the love of God more, and be more personable.”

VA RESCINDS 2018 DIRECTIVE ON TRANSGENDER TREATMENTS, ALIGNING WITH TRUMP ‘TWO SEXES’ EO

Nicole, a liberal protester demonstrating in D.C., told Trump to “follow the law.”

An anonymous man from Detroit urged Trump to unite the country, though he expressed doubt that’s even possible.

“He needs to figure out a way to bring us back together. I don’t know if he’s the man that can do it though. So, I feel like we’re too far gone,” he said.

Another Detroit native named Gilbert told Fox, “He’s got to dial it down a little bit, focus on what he’s good at, and remember to lead for everybody.”

Greenland’s prime minister says whether island can be bought as Trump floats big purchase

Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said Sunday that comments from U.S. officials about the Arctic island have been disrespectful and that the island cannot be purchased, in defiance of U.S. President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly floated the idea of buying the strategic territory.

Nielsen said Greenland “will never, ever be a piece of property that can be bought by just anyone” as he stood by Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during a joint press conference at Frederiksen’s Marienborg official residence in Lyngby, Denmark.

The Greenlandic prime minister was meeting with Frederiksen on the second day of a three-day official visit to Denmark. Greenland is a semi-autonomous territory of Denmark.

“The talks from the United States have not been respectful,” Nielsen said. “The words used have not been respectful. That’s why we need in this situation, we need to stand together.”

TRUMP SAYS HE WASN’T ‘TROLLING’ ABOUT ACQUIRING GREENLAND, CANADA AS 51ST STATE

Political parties in Greenland recently agreed to form a broad-based new coalition government amid Trump’s targets on the territory.

This, as the island has for years been leaning toward eventual independence from Denmark.

Nielsen’s three-day visit seeks to address future cooperation between the two countries.

“Denmark has the will to invest in the Greenlandic society, and we don’t just have that for historical reasons. We also have that because we are part of (the Danish) commonwealth with each other,” Frederiksen said.

“We of course have a will to also continue investing in the Greenlandic society,” she added.

Nielsen is scheduled to meet Denmark’s King Frederik X on Monday before returning to Greenland with Frederik for a royal visit to the island.

Frederiksen and Nielsen were asked whether a meeting had been planned involving them and Trump.

“We always want to meet with the American president,” Frederiksen said. “Of course we want to. But I think we have been very, very clear in what is the [Danish commonwealth’s] approach to all parts of the Kingdom of Denmark.”

US adversary’s billion-dollar footprint 50 miles off Florida raises alarm, expert warns

China is steadily expanding in the Bahamas through projects that blur economic development and geopolitical aims, an expert warned.

“The People’s Republic of China has been making diplomatic, economic and even military and quasi-military inroads into the Caribbean, South and Central America for the past couple of decades,” retired Rear Adm. Peter Brown, former Homeland Security advisor to President Donald Trump, told Fox News Digital.

Brown pointed to the rise in dual-use infrastructure projects along the Bahamas coastline, which is located just 50 miles off the coast of Florida.

“It doesn’t take a lot of imagination for the People’s Republic of China to use its commercial footprint in the Bahamas to monitor, exploit and perhaps even do worse to [the] U.S.,” he said.

VACATION HOT SPOT USED AS ‘SPRINGBOARD’ FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS: EXPERT

Pointing to the Chinese-controlled British Colonial Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas, Brown said that its location directly across from the U.S. Embassy could give way to intelligence gathering on U.S. personnel.

“It doesn’t take a lot of imagination to think that additional electronics were put in there with the purpose and the task of keeping an eye not only on the U.S. Embassy itself, but also the U.S. Embassy visitors,” he said.

The hotel is owned by a Chinese company, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, which has raised geopolitical concerns given its location. Fox News Digital has reached out to the British Colonial Hotel for comment.

China has invested heavily in the Bahamas through a range of additional high-profile projects, including a $40 million grant for a national stadium, a $3 billion mega-port in Freeport, and $40 million for the North Abaco Port and Little Abaco Bridge.

Additionally, China EXIM Bank provided over $54 million in loans to construct a four-lane highway and nearly $3 billion to finance the development of the Baha Mar Resort.

Many of these strategic investments came in the wake of the devastating Hurricane Dorian in 2019 that left much of the archipelago nation decimated.

GORDON CHANG: REMOVE CHINA FROM WESTERN HEMISPHERE

In 2019, now-Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned in a Miami Herald op-ed that the devastation caused by the natural disaster could create an opening for the People’s Republic of China to use aid as a Trojan horse to gain a foothold near American shores.

“By targeting the Bahamian government in this period of crisis, Beijing would be making the same opportunistic play to access critical foreign infrastructure,” Rubio wrote in 2019. “But in this case, the national security threat is especially perilous, as it would give China a foothold just 50 miles from the coast of Florida.”

In addition to growing Chinese infrastructure influence, Brown highlighted the Bahamas’ role in U.S. military testing and its position under key space launch paths.

FLORIDA OFFICIALS DIVIDED OVER ICE DEPORTATION DEAL AIMED AT CRIMINAL ALIENS: ‘EMBARRASSED FOR OUR CITY’

“The U.S. Navy has an underwater testing facility, called Autech, that does very significant and sensitive submarine and anti-submarine warfare work,” he said. “[And] the Bahamas are right in the flight path of many space launches.”

Strategic importance of U.S.-Bahamas relationship

Brown said that the biggest benefit that the U.S. gets from an ongoing collaborative relationship with the Bahamas is security.

“The better relationship we have, the more secure we can be, because we can detect and deal with issues when they’re still kind on the Bahamas side of the Straits of Florida,” he said.

“From an economic standpoint, the huge gain for the Bahamas is that trade and tourism transportation with the United States,” he said. “So, it’s in our mutual interest for us to have a good relationship with the Bahamians.”

As China increases its presence in the region, the U.S. risks losing influence if it fails to remain the Bahamas’ primary ally, Brown said.

“If we’re not the Bahamas’ best friend, somebody else will be—and we don’t want that somebody to be China.”

Packed ferry ride turns deadly after getting struck by boat in hit-and-run

One person is dead after a boat ran into a ferry packed with passengers in Clearwater, Florida, on Sunday, prompting a “mass casualty incident.”

The Clearwater Ferry, a method of transportation from downtown Clearwater to Clearwater Beach, had approximately 45 people on board when it was struck by a recreational boat at around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

The crash, which left one person dead, took place near the Memorial Causeway bridge, according to Clearwater police.

The City of Clearwater said six passengers were declared “trauma alerts.” Police described two of those as “seriously injured” and said they were taken to local hospitals by helicopter.

All injuries came from passengers on the ferry, police said.

The boat that hit the ferry fled the scene, but was later identified by another law enforcement agency, according to the City of Clearwater. Further details on that boat have not been provided.

Over 100 illegal immigrants arrested in massive raid — more secrets were exposed inside

Federal authorities announced Sunday that more than a hundred illegal immigrants were detained in a massive raid at an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs that officials say was “frequented by TdA and MS-13 terrorists.”

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Division led a multi-agency operation early Sunday morning and arrested 114 illegal immigrants at the venue that contained more than 200 people inside.

Authorities uncovered drugs, including pink cocaine, as well as evidence of prostitution and multiple firearms during the operation, according to the DEA.

“@DHSgov has taken more than 100 illegal aliens into custody,” DEA Rocky Mountain said in a post on X on Sunday. “Drugs and weapons have also been seized at this underground nightclub in Colorado Springs.”

BLUE SANCTUARY STATE OPERATING AS ‘CONTROL’ CENTER FOR VICIOUS MIGRANT GANG: ACTING DEA CHIEF

President Donald Trump commented on the raid in a Truth Social Post on Sunday.

“A big Raid last night on some of the worst people illegally in our Country — Drug Dealers, Murderers, and other Violent Criminals, of all shapes and sizes, and Judges don’t want to send them back to where they came from,” Trump wrote in the post. “If we don’t win this battle at the Supreme Court, our Country, as we know it, is FINISHED! It will be a Crime ridden MESS. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Attorney General Pamela Bondi applauded the operation, which included 300 officials across multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

“This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists,” Bondi said in a post on X. “Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department were also involved in the operation.

‘BRING IT ON’: SHERIFF PUSHES BACK AFTER BLUE STATE LEADERS SUE TO STOP IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT

In videos posted of the operation, U.S. Postal Service and IRS agents are seen arresting illegal aliens at the nightclub, showing the Trump administration using a whole-of-government approach to carrying out deportations.

Specifically, a U.S. Postal Service inspector and an agent with IRS Criminal Investigations were seen with alleged criminals in their custody.

DEA Acting Administrator Derek Maltz previously said Colorado has become “ground zero for some of the most violent criminals in America,” including Tren de Aragua’s leadership, Denver 7 reported.

One local official blamed the blue state’s leadership.

“Colorado without question has been a hub for illegal immigration due to the sanctuary policies of the city of Denver in conjunction with radical legislation (including this session) from the State Capitol affirming Colorado’s sanctuary status,” Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly told The Gazette, which first reported the story. “As the Sheriff of Douglas County I will do everything I can within Colorado law to support our federal partners. This, in turn, helps keep my community safe.”

Many of those detained in Sunday’s raid are expected to face federal immigration charges, according to DEA Rocky Mountain. At least two people were also arrested on existing warrants, Bondi said.

“#DEA partners and @DHSgov placed patrons (in the U.S. illegally) on buses for processing and likely eventual deportation,” DEA Rocky Mountain said.

About a dozen U.S. active-duty service members were also found at the club, special DEA Rocky Mountain agent Jonathan Pullen told multiple outlets. The service members were inside the club as patrons or working as armed security.

“I think that everybody that goes into a nightclub at 3 o’clock in the morning knows what they’re getting into,” Pullen told Denver 7. “The active duty servicemembers who were there will be dealt with by Army CID [Criminal Investigation Division]. They were on scene with us, and they are partners in this investigation.”

DEA Rocky Mountain confirmed to Fox News that those active duty service members found at the club have so far been detained and are not under arrest at this time.

“Colorado Springs is waking up to a safer city this Sunday morning,” Pullen said in a press briefing to local outlets.

“As we approach his 100 days in office @POTUS Trump’s directive to make America safe again is achieving results!” Bondi said on X.

Colorado Springs Chief of Police Adrian Vasquez said the department participated in the operation “solely to address criminal violations” affecting community safety and is not authorized to conduct immigration enforcement under state law.

“I want to be clear that it is the responsibility of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) to investigate criminal activity and make arrests when appropriate. This operation was the result of a months-long investigation into serious criminal activity in our community,” Vasquez said. “While the investigation is ongoing, arrests for these criminal violations are expected. CSPD is aware that our federal partners also detained multiple people for suspected immigration violations during the operation.”

Passenger’s defiant action prompts pilot to threaten to ‘turn this plane around’

An airline passenger traveling from Los Angeles to Cancun, Mexico, took to social media to share the way a flight crew handled a recent incident of a person vaping while on board.

Posted in the “r/AlaskaAirlines” Reddit forum, the post was titled, “Vaper on LAX-CUN Flight 4/18/25.”

The user wrote, “So on Flight 1340 this morning, ‘a lady’ decided that (per the gossip I heard from a flight attendant) that she needed to vape a bit in the lav because ‘she was stressed out.‘”

PILOT ALLEGEDLY CALLS OUT VAPING PASSENGER IN CABIN-WIDE ANNOUNCEMENT: ‘ONE PERSON DECIDED TO RISK LIVES’

While the Reddit user was in the lavatory, the pilot made an announcement, according to the post.

“The pilot comes on the air and tells everyone that [t]here’s been a smoke alarm in the lav and ‘no smoking or vaping or chewing tobacco’ [is allowed] on the flight,” the person wrote about what allegedly happened.

The user added, “He’s upset and [said] this is a federal offense, and he’s going to turn this plane around and go home if he has to tell us all again.”

The user concluded, “I exit the lav and take my seat shaking my head in digust so [that] everyone knows it wasn’t me.”

FLIGHT PASSENGER SLAMS ‘SNEAKY’ TRAVELERS WHO VAPE IN AIRPORTS: ‘YOU AREN’T FOOLING ANYONE’

Plenty of other Reddit users took to the comments section to share their thoughts and opinions about vaping on planes.

“That’s risky, since it’s illegal to smoke on an aircraft,” commented one user.

Another user said, “Please note this is not necessarily a criminal offense, so being arrested for this doesn’t normally occur unless some other severe activity is also present. It is a civil violation and can result in FAA penalties.”

Suggested one Redditor, “The answer for smokers and vapers is to use a patch or a Zyn on flights.”

Another user commented, “Smoking and vaping require the FAs to submit a smoking/vaping report … [They] can actually do it right from their work device in real time.”

FLIGHT PASSENGER SAYS ‘ENTITLED’ SEAT SWAPPERS SHOULD PUT THEIR MONEY WHERE THEIR MOUTHS ARE

“I bet the airline cares. And will cancel her flight home. And blacklist [her] from the airline,” said another user.

A different person shared, “I have a couple of flight attendant friends. She wasn’t arrested because it’s unlikely they wanted to process the paperwork in that jurisdiction and then be forced to deal with a case relating to a major U.S. airline and their airport.”

On the Alaska Airlines website under its “Onboard Policies,” the company lists prohibited items.

“We prohibit the use of items that do not meet FAA or Alaska Airlines regulations. These include: electronic smoking devices – battery-operated or USB-charged cigars/cigarettes/pipes that simulate smoking.”

Gary Leff, a Texas-based travel industry expert and author of the blog “View From the Wing,” told Fox News Digital there’s a stigma against vaping.

“Other passengers might think vapers are smoking a cigarette even though they aren’t,” said Leff.

He added, “You can’t smoke on a plane. You can’t vape, either. The FAA has interpreted the prohibition on cigarette smoking to include vaping products, even though they’re quite different.”

He added, “It’s not about banning vapor. The regulation simply extends the ban on cigarettes to include e-cigarettes, which weren’t contemplated when the law against on-board smoking was passed.”

He continued, “Planes still have ashtrays even though smoking has been illegal on U.S. aircraft for a quarter-century!”

Said Leff, “You’ll usually find them in or near the lavatory, because customers may smoke even though it’s illegal to do so.”

Playboy twins detail troubling experience while living with Hugh Hefner

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

At 19 years old, former Playboy playmates – and twins – Karissa and Kristina Shannon’s lives took a drastic turn after moving into Hugh Hefner‘s Playboy mansion.

In a new interview, the twins, now 35, open up about the troubling experience they shared while living in the mansion with Hefner, who died in 2017, and fellow playmates, explaining how it led them down a dangerous web of addiction and sharing the steps they took to eventually find peace.

“We always say ‘Playboy’ will always be a part of our lives. We were ‘Playboy’ fans and we still are ‘Playboy’ fans. Even though it turned out to be very traumatic for us, there were also a lot of high points,” Karissa told People magazine.

From the get-go, the Florida natives said they were met with bouts of “extreme jealousy” from other playmates after Hefner showed favoritism toward them.

HOLLY MADISON RECALLS PLAYBOY FOUNDER HUGH HEFNER’S ‘INSECURITIES’: ‘HE HAD A JEALOUS STREAK’

“We got a lot of jealousy from the other playmates because we were twins. We were the first twins to each get our own months, which made Playboy history. We were the youngest playmates and the youngest girlfriends,” Kristina said.

“When we’re taking pictures, he would want to get in the middle of the twins to take a picture. Or he would be like, ‘Can you move the twins toward the front of the table? I want to sit next to them.’ So the girls started getting really jealous,” Karissa noted.

“It made Kristina cry. Kristina literally cried and wanted to leave the mansion when we were shooting. And I told her, ‘These girls are older. They know how to play the game better. But we’re pretty. We’re here. We’ve made it this far.’ And so we ended up staying and Kristina got through it, but there was so much bullying,” she added.

During their four-year stay at the mansion, Karissa said the experience “left a huge hole in both of our hearts and our spirits.”

“It really crumbled who we are, especially when [Hugh] took our religion away,” she explains. “Our believing in Jesus became a big problem, and losing that was just really big trauma that we dealt with. We had no family that was there to back us up like a lot of the girls.”

After moving out, the twins faced another wave of challenges, including loss and substance abuse.

“When we moved out, we had a couple of years where we went through this individuality phase,” Karissa said. “I feel like every set of twins goes through it, particularly in your early 20s. We were both into different things and trying to be individuals, because Hef really did force the twin thing on us, more than anyone else had ever. But we’ve always been extremely close. I believe we’re twin flames, closer than most twins.”

“Everyone was saying we were going through our ‘Anna Nicole phase'” Kristina said. “We gained weight. There was alcohol and pills. We were really unhealthy and lost and, even at points, suicidal. We had no one. It was just us trying to figure it out after losing ourselves.”

After hitting rock-bottom, the duo decided to move back to their home state of Michigan.

“We drove the whole way without stopping until we got to Michigan. I remember getting into Colorado and smelling that fresh air … it was just different,” Karissa said. “Being in nature desensitized us. We ended up being diagnosed with manic depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. Being outside the city helped us slow down.”

“We were totally just ready to be selfish for the first time. And we were all about God and praying constantly to Jesus,” she added. “We were literally praying and just trying to change our lives. And I feel like this is when we really grew up.”

“I feel like out of all of this, God was humbling us,” Kristina noted. “He was humbling us and letting us know, ‘I have another plan for you.’ He’s restoring us, and that’s what we feel like now. We are completely different people, but still ourselves.”

“We’re still the playful twins who did Playboy, but we care about other things now. We are all about organics. Everything we eat, all our food is organic. All our water’s alkaline, our sheets are organic,” she added.

These days, the twins continue to prioritize their mental and physical health the best way they can.

“We meditate every day together, and we’re into meal-prepping and not eating out, really self-care and just taking time for ourselves and learning how to be selfish, learning how to say no,” Karissa said.

“We went in our hearts, we went through our healing era, which took years. I didn’t think we would ever come out of it. But Michigan changed us. We love being in Michigan and then going to L.A. or Vegas for work,” Kristina added.

The son of an Atlanta Falcons coach owned up to a prank call to Shedeur Sanders during the NFL Draft as the quarterback slid from a first-round projection to the fifth round.

Jax Ulbrich, the son of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, posted a statement on his Instagram account, apologizing to the former Colorado Buffaloes star.

“On Friday night, I made a tremendous mistake,” the post read. “Shedeur, what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing, and shameful. I’m so sorry I took away from your moment, it was childish and selfish.

“I could never imagine getting ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life and I made a terrible mistake and messed up with that moment. Thank you for accepting my call earlier today, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

The NFL confirmed to Fox News Digital earlier on Sunday that the league had launched a probe into the call.

The Falcons said that Jax Ulbrich had written the phone number down off of an iPad that had been left out in the open at his parents’ house.

“Earlier in the week, Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, unintentionally came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad while visiting his parents’ home and wrote the number down to later conduct a prank call. Jeff Ulbrich was unaware of the data exposure or any facets of the prank and was made aware of the above only after the fact,” the team said.

“The Atlanta Falcons do not condone this behavior and send our sincere apologies to Shedeur Sanders and his family, who we have been in contact with to apologize to, as well as facilitate an apology directly from Jax to the Sanders family.

SHEDEUR SANDERS’ NFL DRAFT FALL IGNITES FIERY DEBATE BETWEEN ESPN BROADCASTERS

“We have also been in contact with the NFL and will continue to cooperate fully with any inquiries we may receive from the NFL league office. We are thoroughly reviewing all protocols, and updating if necessary, to help prevent an incident like this from happening again.”

Sanders was subjected to at least two prank calls during the draft.

The Browns eventually selected Sanders with the No. 144 overall pick of the draft.

“It didn’t really have an impact on me, because it was just like, I mean, OK, like I don’t feed into negativity, or I don’t feed into that stuff.” Sanders told Cleveland media about the prank call, via ESPN. “You’ve seen on Deion [Sanders] Jr’s YouTube video. My reaction to it, I don’t – it is what it is. I think, of course, it’s childish. Of course, I feel like it was a childish act, but everybody does childish things here and there.”
