FBI probing ‘signals’ and mystery visitors in Charlie Kirk assassination investigation
FBI Director Kash Patel announced Sunday that his agency is investigating “theories and questions” related to the Sept. 10 assassination of Charlie Kirk.
In a social media post on X, Patel affirmed that he is “committed to ensuring the investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination is thorough and exhaustive.”
“We are examining every facet of this assassination,” the official said, before addressing some of the theories that have circulated in recent days.
“We are meticulously investigating theories and questions, including the location from where the shot was taken, the possibility of accomplices, the text message confession and related conversations, Discord chats, the angle of the shot and bullet impact, how the weapon was transported, hand gestures observed as potential ‘signals’ near Charlie at the time of his assassination, and visitors to the alleged shooter’s residence in the hours and days leading up to September 10, 2025.”

Patel added that while some details are “known today,” law enforcement agencies are still pursuing others “to ensure every possibility is considered.”
“Our primary focus is to complete this investigation and deliver justice,” Patel added. “To protect the integrity of the investigation and subsequent prosecution, we cannot release every piece of information we have to the public right now.”
He also addressed questions swirling about a plane that allegedly turned off its transponder after departing near Orem, Utah, where Kirk was shot.
“We can share updates (about the plane) when answers are confirmed,” Patel said. “After interviews with the pilot and consultation with the FAA, we determined the transponder was not turned off. Incomplete flight data in rural areas caused the apparent gap.”

“The entire FBI mourns the loss of Charlie Kirk,” he concluded. “We will not rest until justice is served, and our investigation into this assassination will continue until every question is answered.”
Patel’s tweet came the same day as the Charlie Kirk memorial event at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Vice President JD Vance, one of the event’s speakers, wrote on X that he was returning to the Grand Canyon State to “remember Charlie and honor his sacrifice.”

Riley Gaines left speechless after Charlie Kirk’s widow delivers speech at memorial
Riley Gaines had high praise for Erika Kirk on Sunday as she spoke in front of thousands of mourners during a memorial service for her husband, Charlie Kirk, in Arizona.
Erika Kirk stepped up to the podium at State Farm Stadium in Glendale – home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals. She showed immense courage and grace as she spoke about her husband, who was assassinated during an event at Utah Valley University nearly two weeks ago.

“Erika Kirk’s remarks…I have no words,” the women’s sports activist wrote on X. “This is exactly what America needed to hear. Filled with love, strength, compassion, honesty, and forgiveness. This is the most powerful speech I’ve ever heard.”
Kirk told the crowd that she would forgive her husband’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, and said that the conservative influencer’s mission was reaching young men in search of direction.
“Charlie passionately wanted to reach and save the lost boys of the West. The young men who feel like they have no direction, no purpose, no faith, and no reason to live. The men wasting their lives on distractions and the men consume with resentment, anger and hate,” she said. “Charlie wanted to help them. He wanted them to have a home with Turning Point USA. And when he went on to campus, he was looking to show them a better path and a better life. That was right there for the taking. He wanted to show them that.

“My husband, Charlie. He wanted to save. Young men, just like the one who took his life. That young man. That young man on the cross. Our Savior said that. Father. Forgive them, for they not know what they do,” she continued. “You, that man. That young man. I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did. And is what Charlie would do. The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us.”
Gaines lauded her bravery.
“Only God can give a grieving widow the heart, serenity, and strength to forgive her husband’s assassin only 11 days after he shot him,” the OutKick “Gaines for Girls” host added. “Only God.”

Former Biden aide exposes White House ‘cult’: ‘Nastiest’ people I’ve ever encountered
“He has to run because she can’t.”
“She” was Vice President Kamala Harris. “He” was President Joe Biden. The message was clear: Biden had to run because his team didn’t believe she could.
“Then why did you pick her in the first place?” I asked as I sank back into my seat on Brightstar, the first lady’s plane.
BIDEN AIDES BLAST HARRIS BOOK EXCERPTS, ADDING VP ‘WAS SIMPLY NOT GOOD AT THE JOB’: REPORT
Silence. Deflection. Business as usual.
We were instructed to parrot one line — “No one runs for president for four years.” That was the strategy.
Harris’s forthcoming book, according to recently released excerpts, says what insiders whispered for years: the Biden bubble was full of bullies. The former vice president is finally saying the quiet part out loud.
KAMALA HARRIS COMPLAINS ABOUT ‘IMPOSSIBLE’ LACK OF SUPPORT FROM BIDEN’S COMMS TEAM, INNER CIRCLE
Biden won the most votes of anyone for president in our country’s history. But he never won the hearts and minds of the American people, and especially not of his own party. That fragile foundation collapsed fast.
The Biden White House was filled with its share of cartoonist characters out of a badly cast high school version of “West Side Story.” They thought they were a “BFD” because they had worked in a previous administration or because our campaign defied the odds and beat expectations. But they had no instincts for the shifting media and political landscape — and no instinct for politics as it is now lived and practiced in the age of Donald Trump.
Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi was more direct, “I’ve never been that impressed with his political operation,” referring to Biden’s team.
There was no pragmatic truth-teller, because no one admitted that we weren’t a movement. We swaggered like we’d won President Barack Obama’s mandate or his congressional majorities. We hadn’t. We lost 13 Democratic House seats on our way in. From the moment Biden won the nomination, no one ever wanted to admit the obvious: Democrats felt stuck with us, not inspired by us.
HARRIS ADMITS BIDEN ‘GOT TIRED,’ DENIES ‘CONSPIRACY’ TO HIDE MENTAL DECLINE
Inside the White House, the Regina Georges of Biden’s circle ruled like mean girls and policed loyalty. Staff weren’t serving a president and first lady — they were serving a cult. You never knew when Regina was in charge or when the Bidens were. It was all blurred.
Joe and Jill Biden were warm, decent, empathetic. But they enabled some of the nastiest and most mean-spirted people I’ve ever encountered in politics. That contradiction defines the Biden era.
I believed in Joe Biden once. After hearing him and Jill deliver barnburner speeches at the 2018 Human Rights Campaign gala, I was convinced he was the champion to take on Trump. As someone who endured relentless bullying growing up, Biden’s words about standing up for LGBT youth resonated. I left determined to join his effort.
One year later, Biden was in the race, and I was chief spokesperson to his very influential and active spouse.
KAMALA HARRIS SCOLDS ‘PILING ON’ AGAINST JOE BIDEN WHEN ASKED ABOUT SEPARATING HERSELF DURING 2024 CAMPAIGN
In the summer of 2020, Jill reintroduced herself to the country while launching “Joey,” her children’s book about young Joe Biden — a natural leader who stood up to bullies.
“School was where the bullies were.” He stood up for himself and “also defended others from bullies,” Jill wrote.
Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi was more direct, “I’ve never been that impressed with his political operation,” referring to Biden’s team.
“We were expected to stand up to bullies,” Valerie Biden Owens wrote in her memoir, “Growing Up Biden.”
Biden’s final mission, he said, was to save the country from Trump — who Democrats consider to be the ultimate bully.
KAMALA HARRIS HAD PROFANE MESSAGE FOR GOVERNORS UNEASY ABOUT SUPPORTING BIDEN
But bullies are everywhere, even among Democrats, and despite his brand — even around Biden.
When I entered the fraught world of part-time punditry, there were times I questioned the strategic direction of the Biden reelection effort. When the economic message was “Bidenomics is working,” I explained why it was an error and pushed alternatives. When the polls were bad, I said so. How could I say the sky is red when we all know it’s blue?
“It will always feel like friendly fire to them,” MSNBC television host Nicolle Wallace warned me. “But all you have is your credibility,” she emphasized.
I wanted to be taken seriously, not just another robot regurgitating thoughtless talking points. I balanced my love for and personal loyalty to the Biden family with candid and thoughtful analysis.
But the president’s bullies didn’t see it that way. To them, I had taken off the team jersey by pointing out missed opportunities and mistakes, so they came for me.
The example they tried to make of me was meant to serve as a warning to any Democrat who raised concerns ahead of 2024. The same bullies who claimed to serve a president who despised bullies were sending me a message: shut up or we’ll humiliate you.
In time, however, the roots of their insecurity would be revealed to the entire world on a debate stage, one tragic June night in Atlanta. Biden’s bullies and their intimidation tactics would crumble over the course of four long, hot, summer weeks — along with their credibility.
Bullies don’t win. They implode.

Biden’s bullies dragged him down — and tried to drag Harris with him. Now, they’re out for her — again.
Recently, we saw a glimpse of that vindictiveness when a few of my former teammates reacted with ugly, and of course, blind quotes to the release of Harris’s book excerpts.
Inside the White House, the Regina Georges of Biden’s circle ruled like mean girls and policed loyalty.
But so far, Harris isn’t bending. Not this time. She sees what I saw. What we all eventually saw. And she is standing up to them.

Angelina Jolie stuns film festival: ‘I don’t recognize my country’
Angelina Jolie waded into the political waters Sunday at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain.
Ahead of the premiere of “Couture,” where Jolie portrays an American filmmaker named Maxine who discovers she has cancer, Jolie was asked during the press conference what she feared as an artist and an American, according to Variety.
Jolie, 50, reportedly sighed deeply, paused in thought and noted that it was “a very difficult question.”
ANGELINA JOLIE PLANNING TO SELL LA HOME AND MOVE ABROAD AFTER BRAD PITT CUSTODY RESTRICTIONS LIFT: REPORT
“I love my country, but at this time, I don’t recognize my country,” Jolie said during the panel discussion.
“I’ve always lived internationally, my family is international, my friends, my life… My worldview is equal, united, and international. Anything anywhere that divides or limits personal expressions and freedoms from anyone, I think, is very dangerous.”
She added, “These are such serious times that we have to be careful not to say things casually. These are very, very heavy times we are living in together.”
ANGELINA JOLIE CAN’T WAIT UNTIL SHE’S ‘ABLE TO LEAVE’ LOS ANGELES
The Academy Award-winning actress has previously discussed her desire to leave the states behind and move abroad.
“I love my country, but at this time, I don’t recognize my country.”
Jolie explained to The Hollywood Reporter last year that although she “grew up” in Los Angeles, the only reason she remains in the city is “because I have to be here from a divorce.”
“But as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” she said, referring to her youngest children, twins Vivienne and Knox, 17, whom she shares with ex Brad Pitt.

The Maleficent star admitted she was searching for “privacy” for her “big family,” which also includes Maddox, 24; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; and Shiloh, 19.
“When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety,” Jolie told the outlet. “I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
She added, “I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world.”
“I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
A source recently told People magazine that Jolie’s move may be sooner than expected as she’s preparing to “put the house up for sale.”
“[Jolie] never wanted to live in L.A. full time. She didn’t have a choice because of the custody arrangement with [ex-husband] Brad [Pitt],” the insider claimed.

According to the source who spoke with People, Jolie “plans to relocate as soon as Knox and Viv turn 18 next year. She’s eyeing several locations abroad. She’ll be very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles.”
In September 2016, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt after two years of marriage. They reached a settlement last December after an acrimonious and highly-publicized eight-year legal battle.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt,” Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon, said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
A source close to the matter told Fox News Digital, “She doesn’t speak ill of him publicly or privately. She’s been trying hard to be light after a dark time.”
“The kids have grown up seeing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voices don’t matter,” the insider added. “Their pain doesn’t count. They have wanted her to speak up for herself, to defend herself over these years, but she reminds them to focus on changing laws over telling public stories.”

Student punished after classmate grabbed MAGA cap he wore for Charlie Kirk
An Orange County, California, high school student said he was suspended after his “Make America Great Again” hat was stolen, sparking a political argument with another student.
Laguna Beach High School student Zach Hornstein told Fox News Digital that he and several friends wore MAGA hats on Sept. 11 to honor Charlie Kirk, the Turning Point USA co-founder who was shot and killed during a speaking event at a Utah college campus the day before.
“His death really affected us,” Hornstein said. “I may not agree with everything he says, but I appreciate that he encourages students to think critically, consider both sides, and engage in honest discussions. My mom is an immigrant, and I was brought up to love America. On Sept. 11, I wanted to feel patriotic and show my support for our country as a whole.”
At the end of the school day, Hornstein said, a female student grabbed his hat and threw it in the girls’ bathroom trash can. A political argument followed, during which the student used profanity when speaking about President Donald Trump, according to KTTV-TV, Fox 11 Los Angeles.
STUDENTS SUPPORTING CHARLIE KIRK SAY THEY ‘ARE NOT AFRAID’ AFTER ASSASSINATION, VOW TO DEFEND FREE SPEECH
Hornstein said the group “got over it and moved on” but, at a teacher’s direction, he filed an incident report and requested a written apology. The school later suspended both students.
Hornstein called the suspension “extremely upsetting” because it interfered with his rigorous AP class schedule.
“To this day, I do not understand what I was actually suspended for,” he told Fox News Digital. “During the argument, I jokingly said, ‘If you don’t like America, Canada has open borders,’ which was confirmed by numerous students, including the girl who took my hat off.”
Hornstein said he and the other student remain friends, and he believes school administrators made a mistake.
VIGILS HELD ACROSS US AFTER ASSASSINATION OF CHARLIE KIRK: ‘WE MUST HEAL’
“She was suspended as well, and I believe that it was a complete overreaction,” he said. “I think it was a highly emotional day for everyone on 9/11, and she made a mistake for which she later apologized.”
“We were able to work through it in a healthy way, and I wish the adults involved had modeled that same approach instead of creating more division,” he added.
His mother, Janet Semenova, told Fox News Digital her son is an honor roll student and had never been disciplined before.
She believes her son was targeted because of his political views.
“I think it’s a double standard,” she told Fox11. “I think kids who have certain political beliefs are held to a different standard than kids who have other political beliefs.”

The Laguna Beach Unified School District said it does not discipline students for expressing political opinions and issued the following statement:
“We are legally required to keep student discipline matters confidential to protect the privacy and well-being of all students. Protecting free expression is fundamental to our democracy, and schools play a critical role in helping young people navigate differing viewpoints with respect. Our responsibility as educators is to support students in engaging through constructive dialogue and healthy debate that is respectful, empathetic, and rooted in civil discourse. High school is a formative time, and we are committed to helping students grow into thoughtful citizens who understand both their rights and responsibilities in a diverse community,” a spokesperson for the district told Fox News Digital.
“When disputes arise on campus, schools must evaluate the behavior involved. California law defines the grounds for suspension, and we are reviewing the facts in this situation through that process to ensure it is handled fairly and consistently,” the statement continued.

The district’s dress code does not restrict students from wearing political apparel, and Hornstein said students are allowed to wear clothing with political messages as long as it is appropriate.
Semenova said the family plans to appeal the suspension before the school board.
“We deeply love this school and its teachers, which makes our disappointment in the administration’s handling of this sensitive situation even more pronounced,” she told Fox News Digital. “What we really want is an acknowledgment from the school that they could have done better and used this as an opportunity for learning and growth, instead of a moment that created further division. It is difficult to be a teenager, and I believe that it is our moral responsibility to help them become more empathetic and tolerant adults. In this, perhaps we can all learn a lesson from the late Charlie Kirk.”
Marvel star warns America is headed for ‘Taliban’ rule under ‘fascist regime’
Actor Mark Ruffalo compared the government under President Donald Trump to the Taliban on Thursday after late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was suspended.
Ruffalo brought up the ABC host’s show being “canceled” during a kickoff call for the Oct. 18 “No Kings” protest. The 57-year-old Marvel actor said the details surrounding Kimmel’s program being pulled were “cloudy” and “murky” but insisted it was a result of cancel culture coming from the government.
He went on to call the government a “fascist regime” and warned viewers about living under what he described as a new kind of Taliban rule.
CHARLIE KIRK ALLY DEFENDS JIMMY KIMMEL SUSPENSION OVER ‘VILE LIE’ AMID FIRST AMENDMENT CRITICISM
“This cancellation is the U.S. government coming and taking your voice away from you,” Ruffalo said. “It is the U.S. government that is now suppressing the freedom of speech. It is the U.S. government, not your neighbors, not someone on social media. It is the government doing it now.”
He continued, “And that’s where we all have to come together, because authoritarian regimes, fascist regimes have to degrade our freedoms more and more overtime until we’re living the smallest, the most frightened, the most secretive lives. Think of yourselves living under the Taliban because that’s where we’re headed.”
Fox News Digital reached out to Ruffalo’s publicist for comment.
ABC and parent company Disney “indefinitely” suspended Kimmel’s show Wednesday night after the host accused conservatives of reaching “new lows” in trying to pin a left-wing ideology to Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s assassin, despite authorities confirming the shooter’s political leanings at the time.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.
In a Threads post Saturday, Ruffalo reacted to a report of Disney stock dropping seven percent after announcing Kimmel’s suspension.
“It’s going to go down a lot further if they cancel his show. Disney does not want to be the ones that broke America,” Ruffalo wrote.

Tension boils over between Kelce and coach Reid after failed drive against Giants
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid appeared to butt heads on the sideline after one of the final drives of the half against the New York Giants on Sunday night.
Kelce had a catch for minus-2 yards, and the drive ended with Harrison Butker missing a 40-yard field goal. The NBC broadcast showed Kelce and Reid coming face-to-face. Reid threw his shoulder into the star tight end as he walked off the field.

Reid said the emotion was “good.”
“We need some juice,” he told NBC’s Melissa Stark.
The two pillars of the Chiefs’ franchise had a similar incident during Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers.

It’s unclear what the two were talking about on Sunday night, but Kelce was having a tough time in the first half. He and Patrick Mahomes also seemed off as the quarterback threw a dink of a pass just out of the reach of Kelce.
He had three catches on six targets for 13 yards at the half. The Chiefs led at the break, 9-6.
Kansas City won the game, 22-9. Kelce had four catches on seven targets for 26 yards.
Kelce faced criticism last week when a pass when off his hands into the arms of a Philadelphia Eagles’ defender in the end zone. The play essentially ended the Chiefs’ chance of getting some revenge on the Eagles after Philadelphia won Super Bowl LIX.

Theft rocks one of the world’s top tourist attractions as hunt for suspect underway
A once-powerful pharaoh’s priceless bracelet was melted down and sold after being stolen from an Egyptian museum, according to local officials.
The disappearance of the bracelet, which once belonged to Pharaoh Usermaatre Amenemope, was announced by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on Sept. 17. Officials circulated images of the artifact to airports and border crossings.
The artifact was taken from the restoration laboratory of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
‘REMARKABLE’ ANCIENT SUN HAT, POSSIBLY WORN BY ROMAN SOLDIER, UNVEILED FOR FIRST TIME
A restoration specialist took the bracelet from a safe at the museum on Sept. 9, according to the BBC. She gave it to a silver jeweler — who then sold it to a gold jeweler for $3,735.
The bracelet was then sold to a gold foundry worker for $4,025, who melted it down with other metals. Egyptian officials said the money was seized, and all four suspects have been arrested.
Amenemope ruled during the Third Intermediate Period, likely between 993 and 984 B.C., making the bracelet more than 3,000 years old.
Before the recent arrests, officials circulated pictures of the bracelet, which was made of gold and strung with beads made of lapis lazuli, a blue stone prized in antiquity.

The Egyptian Museum, one of the country’s most popular tourist spots, houses the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities.
The institution has over 120,000 artifacts in its collections.
The theft of the bracelet came as Egypt remains one of the world’s most popular tourist places, attracting several million visitors per year.
The country’s government recently revealed its plans to build a mega resort at Mount Sinai, the place where God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.

Golf legend slams ‘hateful’ Democrat lawmakers after widow’s powerful speech
LIV Golf star Phil Mickelson took a swipe at Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, and Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, while praising Erika Kirk for her remarks at her husband’s memorial service.
Kirk spoke about Charlie less than two weeks after he was assassinated at a Utah Valley University event. Her bravery and courage during her speech at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, sparked a ton of reaction across social media.

Mickelson was among them.
“Amazing strength, and amazing grace,” Mickelson wrote on X.
As Kirk offered her forgiveness to the alleged assassin accused of murdering the 31-year-old conservative influencer, Mickelson chided Omar and Crockett.
“While (Ilhan) and Jasmine are speaking hateful rhetoric, Erika Kirk is saying this. I have no words. Amazing,” he added.
Omar received backlash after she insulted Charlie Kirk’s legacy in wake of his killing.
She addressed her recent social media posts in which she called Kirk “Dr. Frankenstein,” doubling down on those comments and saying his legacy should be left in the “dustbin of history.”
“What I find jarring is that there’s so many people willing to excuse the most reprehensible things that he said, that they agree with that, that they’re willing to have monuments for him, that they want to create a day to honor him, and that they want to produce resolutions in the house of Congress honoring his life and legacy,” Omar said on CNN.
RILEY GAINES PRAISES ERIKA KIRK AS SHE HONORS HUSBAND CHARLIE KIRK: ‘I HAVE NO WORDS’
“I am not going to sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind, that should be in the dustbin of history, and we should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every single day.”
Crockett on Sunday took issue with only two White Democrat lawmakers who voted against a resolution to honor Charlie Kirk.
“One of the things that I want to point out that’s not been laid out that honestly hurt my heart is when I saw the no votes — there were only two Caucasians,” Crockett said on CNN. “For the most part, the only people that voted no were people of color.
“The rhetoric that Charlie Kirk continuously put out there was rhetoric that specifically targeted people of color. It is unfortunate that even our colleagues could not see how harmful his rhetoric was — specifically to us.”
Meanwhile, Erika Kirk offered grace and bravery as she spoke in front of more than 70,000 mourners at her husband’s memorial.
“Charlie passionately wanted to reach and save the lost boys of the West. The young men who feel like they have no direction, no purpose, no faith, and no reason to live.
