‘Complete obliteration’: Israel, Iran and US agree on Trump’s Iran strikes
President Donald Trump’s historic precision strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites Saturday hit their targets and “destroyed” and “badly damaged” the facilities’ critical infrastructure — an assessment agreed upon by Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Israel and the United States.
“Our nuclear installations have been badly damaged, that’s for sure,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei told Al Jazeera.
TRUMP SAYS US WOULD STRIKE AGAIN IF IRAN REBUILDS NUCLEAR PROGRAM
Israel’s Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said its assessment is that Iran’s nuclear program has been “significantly damaged,” while Israel’s Atomic Energy Commission described the U.S. strikes as “devastating.”
“The devastating U.S. strike on Fordo destroyed the site’s critical infrastructure and rendered the enrichment facility inoperable,” Israel’s Atomic Energy Commission said. “We assess that the American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, combined with Israeli strikes on other elements of Iran’s military nuclear program, has set back Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years.”
It added: “The achievement can continue indefinitely if Iran does not get access to nuclear material.”
TRUMP THRASHES CNN AS ‘GUTLESS LOSERS’ FOR COVERAGE OF US STRIKES ON IRAN
And as for the United States, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan “Razin” Caine said that initial battle damage assessments indicate that “all three sites sustained extremely severe damage and destruction.”
“More than 125 U.S. aircraft participated in this mission, including B-2 stealth bombers, multiple flights of fourth and fifth generation fighters, dozens and dozens of air refueling tankers, a guided missile submarine, and a full array of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft, as well as hundreds of maintenance and operational professionals,” Caine said in a press briefing.
And Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that “given the 30,000 pounds of explosions and the capability of those munitions, it was devastation underneath Fordow.”
HEGSETH SAYS FBI IS CONDUCTING INVESTIGATION INTO LEAK OF INTEL REPORT ON STRIKE AGAINST IRAN
“Any assessment that tells you otherwise is speculating with other motives,” Hegseth said.
The agreement on the assessment of damage between the United States, Israel and Iran comes amid a report that cited leaked low-confidence intelligence from one intelligence agency that suggested the U.S. strikes did not destroy Iran’s nuclear sites.
A Defense Intelligence Agency source told Fox News that the “low confidence” assessment was based on just “one day’s worth of intelligence reporting.”
More intelligence has been gathered in the days since through other sources and methods, according to the source.
“This is a preliminary, low-confidence report and will continue to be refined as additional intelligence becomes available,” the Defense Intelligence Agency said. “We are working with the appropriate authorities to investigate the unauthorized disclosure of classified information.”
And Secretary of State Marco Rubio blasted the report and said that Iran’s nuclear program “today looks nothing like it did just a week ago.”
“That story is a false story, and it’s one that really shouldn’t be re-reported because it doesn’t accurately reflect what’s happening,” Rubio said. “Everything underneath that mountain is in bad shape.”
Rubio also added that “there is no way Iran comes to the table if somehow nothing had happened.”
TRUMP LASHES OUT AT ISRAEL AND IRAN WITH PROFANITY FOR BREAKING CEASE-FIRE
“This was complete and total obliteration. They are in bad shape,” Rubio said. “They are way behind today compared to where they were just seven days ago because of what President Trump did.”
Even the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi assessed that “very significant damage is expected to have occurred.”
“At the Esfahan nuclear site, additional buildings were hit, with the US confirming their use of cruise missiles,” he said, according to prepared remarks for the International Atomic Energy Agency.
“Affected buildings include some related to the uranium conversion process,” he said. “Also at this site, entrances to tunnels used for the storage of enriched material appear to have been hit. At the Natanz enrichment site, the Fuel Enrichment Plant was hit, with the U.S. confirming that it used ground-penetrating munitions.”
Meanwhile, Trump has been in the Netherlands at the NATO Summit, where he was met with praise from allies on his “decisive” action in Iran.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte praised Trump as a “man of strength” and a “man of peace” during Wednesday’s summit.
“I just want to recognize your decisive action on Iran,” Rutte said at the start of his joint remarks with the president. “You are a man of strength, but you are also a man of peace. And the fact that you are now also successful in getting this ceasefire done between Israel and Iran — I really want to commend you for that. I think this is important for the whole world.”
The president on Wednesday declared that the United States would strike Iran again if the country attempts to rebuild its nuclear program.
Republican exposes AOC’s Westchester upbringing after heated exchange with Trump
A New York state lawmaker called out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., over her upbringing after she referred to herself as a tough “Bronx girl” during an internet spat in which she traded jabs with President Donald Trump.
State Assemblyman Matt Slater, a Republican, called out the progressive firebrand, who represents portions of the Bronx and Queens, shared an image of her during her freshman year in suburban Yorktown High School, almost an hour north of the Bronx.
“If you’re a BX girl then why are you in my Yorktown yearbook? Give it up already,” Tweeted Slater, who was a senior at the same school when Ocasio-Cortez was a freshman.
‘I’M JUST A SILLY GIRL’: AOC FIRES BACK AFTER TRUMP CALLS HER ‘STUPID’
Slater’s move came after Ocasio-Cortez got into a social media spat with Trump after she called for his impeachment for ordering strikes over the weekend that targeted Iranian nuclear sites.
“When I saw the tweet making her out to be this tough Bronx girl, I’d just had enough,” Slater told Fox News Digital. “I literally just reached behind me and grabbed my yearbook, clicked the photos and said: ‘Listen, enough is enough.’”
“You’re from Yorktown,” he said. “Let’s end this charade and come clean.”
Prior to Slater’s post, Ocasio-Cortez traded barbs with Trump via social media.
In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump criticized the congresswoman, calling her “stupid” and “one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress.”
“When we examine her Test Scores, we will find out that she is NOT qualified for office but, nevertheless, far more qualified than Crockett, who is a seriously Low IQ individual, or Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our Country, yet the Failed Country that she comes from doesn’t have a Government, is drenched in Crime and Poverty, and is rated one of the WORST in the World, if it’s even rated at all,” Trump added.
In response, Ocasio-Cortez, who graduated from Yorktown High School in 2007, wrote a series of posts on X criticizing Trump.
AOC’S CONSTITUENTS WEIGH IN ON PRESIDENTIAL RUN, RECALL HER STUNNING 2018 POLITICAL UPSET
“Also, I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast. Respectfully,” she said, referring to Trump’s Queens roots and upbringing.
The constant references to the Bronx disrespect the congresswoman’s Yorktown upbringing, Slater said.
“That fact that she continues to go on this charade, I think disrespects this town,” he said. “I think that’s part of the problem these days. People just want real leaders, and not manufactured, fake folks who feel like they have to hide their past or create this false narrative to score points or votes and get attention.”
“I went to college in New Hampshire. I don’t say I’m from New Hampshire,” he added.
Fox News Digital has reached out to the Ocasio-Cortez’s office.
Ocasio-Cortez often touts her Bronx roots despite living a good chunk of her life further north. She lived in the borough’s Parkchester planned community until she was 5 before moving to Yorktown Heights, a suburb in Westchester County, for better schools, the New York Times previously reported.

“It is nice. Growing up, it was a good town for working people,” she said in reference to Yorktown in a 2018 tweet questioning her Bronx upbringing. “My mom scrubbed toilets so I could live here & I grew up seeing how the zip code one is born in determines much of their opportunity.”
Slater noted that candidates for public office often have to seem relatable to voters.
“Clearly, hiding or distorting her roots was done for a very specific reason and obviously that reason was to help her get elected,” he said. “That fact that she keeps putting up this front. I just got to that point where I was like ‘enough is enough.’ If you’re not going to be honest about it then we’re going to be honest for you.”
Florida lawmaker forced to evacuate office after sharing personal medical crisis
North Central Florida U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack shared on social media Wednesday night that her office was evacuated following death threats against her, her family and her staff.
The Congresswoman alleges she has been a repeat victim of the threats following an exclusive with the Wall Street Journal in which she spoke about an expelled pregnancy in May of last year, according to a post on social media platform X.
“These threats erupted after the Wall Street Journal reported on my life-threatening ectopic pregnancy—a nonviable pregnancy with no heartbeat. Since then, we’ve received thousands of hate-filled messages and dozens of credible threats from pro-abortion activists, which law enforcement is actively investigating,” Rep. Cammack’s Press Office posted.
PRO-LIFE ALLY: PRO-ABORTION ASSAULT RESPONSE ‘TROUBLING’; TRUMP’S PLANNED PARENTHOOD FUNDING CUT ‘GREAT STEP’
Cammock’s ectopic pregnancy occurred shortly after the state’s heartbeat law went into effect. Cammock noted the threats came after the publication of the WSJ interview – which noted that the lawmaker, who is against abortion, supports exceptions for rape and incest and instances in which the mother’s life is at risk.
“To those spreading misinformation: I did not vote for Florida’s heartbeat law; I serve in the U.S. House of Representatives, not the Florida Legislature,” Cammack wrote on X. “Let me be clear: I will not be intimidated. I won’t back down in the fight for women and families. Ensuring women have the resources and care they deserve is critical. We need real conversations about maternal healthcare in America—conversations based on truth, not fear.”
In her post, Cammack included photos displaying the types of harassment she has received.
SPATE OF HEALTH SCARES AND VIOLENT THREATS HIGHLIGHT GROWING VULNERABILITIES FOR LAWMAKERS ON CAPITOL HILL
The congresswoman said during the WSJ interview that she had an ectopic pregnancy and that after speaking with medical professionals she had initially refused to terminate her pregnancy. She says she had fears that she would be violating state law due to the fact she was five weeks along at the time of the termination.
Although the nature of her condition was considered fatal, she was still afraid, she said, and blames pro-choice messaging.

“It was absolute fearmongering at its worst,” she told the publication. “There will be some comments like, ‘Well, thank God we have abortion services,’ even though what I went through wasn’t an abortion.”

‘Work husband’ of Jill Biden runs from questions about Biden’s cognitive decline
Anthony Bernal, the former advisor to former first lady Jill Biden, is refusing to appear before the House Oversight Committee to be questioned about the alleged cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s mental decline.
Chair James Comer, R-Ky., said in a press release Tuesday that Bernal was refusing to appear on June 26 for a transcribed interview, as part of the committee’s investigation into the Biden cover-up, and also the potentially unauthorized use of autopen for executive actions and pardons.
“Now that the White House has waived executive privilege, it’s abundantly clear that Anthony Bernal – Jill Biden’s so-called ‘work husband’ – never intended to be transparent about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the ensuing cover-up,” Comer said. “With no privilege left to hide behind, Mr. Bernal is now running scared, desperate to bury the truth. The American people deserve answers and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will not tolerate this obstruction.”
The chairman added that if Bernal does not wish to come on his own, he will issue a subpoena to compel Bernal to provide testimony before the committee.
HOUSE REPUBLICANS INCH CLOSER TO ANSWERS AS FORMER BIDEN ADVISORS LOSE EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE SHIELD
Letters obtained by Fox News Digital from a source familiar with the matter show the Trump administration will not allow the people of interest in Comer’s probe to use their past White House work as a legal shield.
Deputy Counsel to the President Gary Lawkowski sent the letters to former Biden Chief of Staff Ron Klain, former senior advisors Anita Dunn, Steve Ricchetti, Mike Donilon, Annie Tomasini, Bruce Reed, Ashley Williams and Bernal.
“In light of the unique and extraordinary nature of the matters under investigation, President Trump has determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the national interest, and therefore is not justified, with respect to particular subjects within the purview of the House Oversight Committee,” the letters said. “Those subjects include your assessment of former President Biden’s fitness for the office of the President and your knowledge of who exercised executive powers during his administration.”
TOP BIDEN OFFICIALS SUMMONED TO TESTIFY ABOUT ALLEGED COVER-UP OF FORMER PRESIDENT’S MENTAL FITNESS
Congressional Republicans and the White House are investigating whether the senior Biden aides in question played any role in keeping concerns about the former president’s mental acuity shielded from the public eye and even from lower-level White House staffers.
“Just yesterday, we heard from our first witness, Neera Tanden, the former Staff Secretary who controlled the Biden autopen,” Comer said Wednesday. “Ms. Tanden testified that she had minimal interaction with President Biden, despite wielding tremendous authority. She explained that to obtain approval for autopen signatures, she would send decision memos to members of the President’s inner circle and had no visibility of what occurred between sending the memo and receiving it back with approval.
“Her testimony raises serious questions about who was really calling the shots in the Biden White House amid the President’s obvious decline,” Comer continued. “We will continue to pursue the truth for the American people.”
HOUSE GOP SECURES FOUR KEY WITNESSES IN BIDEN MENTAL-DECLINE PROBE AS FORMER AIDES AGREE TO TALK
Bernal’s team previously confirmed he would appear for a transcribed interview on June 26, 2025, according to Comer’s office. But yesterday, the White House counsel’s office notified Bernal that it was waiving executive privilege regarding the Oversight Committee’s investigation.
Bernal’s legal team then told the committee he would no longer appear for the interview.
Comer’s team said in the press release that during the last Congress, the chairman subpoenaed three key White House aides, including Bernal, who allegedly ran interference for Biden to cover up his decline.

Despite the subpoenas, the White House under Biden allegedly obstructed the committee’s investigation by refusing to make the aides available for interviews or depositions.
Former NYC mayor dismisses fears over Bernie-backed socialist’s primary victory
Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told ‘Fox News @ Night’ Wednesday he believes fears over Zohran Mamdani’s win in the Democratic primary are greatly exaggerated.
Mamdani, a 33-year-old democratic socialist endorsed by Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, claimed victory in New York City’s Democratic mayor primary Tuesday after former New York governor Andrew Cuomo conceded the race.
While the race’s outcome will still need to be decided by a ranked count on July 1, Mamdani’s far-left policy proposals have caused angst among more moderate Democrats.
CITY-RUN GROCERY STORES, DEFUNDING POLICE, SAFE INJECTION SITES: WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT NYC’S NEXT POTENTIAL MAYOR
De Blasio downplayed these fears, arguing that many of Mamdani’s proposals – such as creating free bus networks, expanding grocery stores and implementing rent control – have been tried in other cities.
“These are not staggering ideas. If he wants to tax the wealthy, he has to get the approval of the legislature. They may or may not give it,” de Blasio said, arguing that the “wealthy” are poised to get generous tax cuts from President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” which passed in the House last month.
DEM SOCIALIST’S NYC PRIMARY UPSET SIGNALS ‘GENERATIONAL’ SHIFT IN DEMOCRATIC PARTY, STRATEGISTS SAY
“I just think there’s a lot of exaggeration here. And we’re not going to see people leaving in droves,” de Blasio said. “They said it would happen when I became mayor. It didn’t happen. I just don’t buy it.”
De Blasio, who served as New York City Mayor between 2014 and 2022, argued that Mamdani’s success was due to his focus on “kitchen table issues” – something Democrats paid the price for forgetting in the 2024 election cycle.
“Here’s someone who actually talked all day long about affordability, talked about rent. He talked about the basics of life, food, the whole thing that people are struggling to make ends meet,” de Blasio said.
The former mayor predicted that police would not be defunded under a prospective Mamdani administration.

“I think in the end, he’s going to laser focus on the kinds of things that everyday New Yorkers want across the ideological spectrum here, across demographics, because this place is incredibly expensive, and working-class and middle class people are struggling to live here,” de Blasio said.
Newsom’s office posts video of man ‘destroying’ woman after Title IX warning
California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office made light of U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon announcing the state had violated Title IX by allowing trans athletes to compete in girls sports with a controversial social media post on Wednesday.
Just hours after McMahon’s announcement of the violations and an ultimatum of 10 days for the state to amend its policies, Newsom’s press office X account mocked McMahon with an old clip of her being body-slammed during a WWE skit.
The clip was of current Knox County Mayor Glenn Thomas Jacobs, also known as “Kane,” hitting McMahon with move known as the “tombstone piledriver” during an episode of “Monday Night Raw” in the early 2000s.

McMahon, as the wife of WWE founder Vince McMahon, has been heavily involved in the wrestling entertainment product for decades. She even led the WWE organization as CEO.
However, Newsom’s office making light of the Title IX violation announcement with a clip of McMahon’s WWE past prompted severe backlash.
Many critics pointed out that the clips depicts a man physically overpowering a woman, which is often centered as one of the most common arguments against letting biological males compete in girls and women’s sports.
“So a man easily destroying a woman is how you want to relay that boys belong in girls sports?” one X user wrote.
Another critical user wrote, “Thanks for proving our point. Men are stronger than women. I can’t believe you actually posted this display of male violence.”
Several prominent women’s rights activists and groups made separate posts speaking out against Newsom’s office over the joke.
WHITE HOUSE RESPONDS TO NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN PROBE OF SJSU TRANS ATHLETE ALLEGEDLY CONSPIRING TO HARM TEAMMATE
McMahon said in an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday that California would be at risk of losing its federal funding for its K-12 schools if the requirements are not met.
A press release by the U.S. Department of Education states that California’s high school sports league, the CIF and the California Department of Education (CDE) have 10 days to amend their policy or risk referral to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Newsom responded to the Education Department later Wednesday.
“It wouldn’t be a day ending in ‘Y’ without the Trump Administration threatening to defund California. Now Secretary McMahon is confusing government with her WrestleMania days — dramatic, fake, and completely divorced from reality. This won’t stick,” Newsom spokesperson Izzy Gardon told Fox News Digital.
The CIF said it didn’t comment on legal matters.
“The California Department of Education believes all students should have the opportunity to learn and play at school, and we have consistently applied existing law in support of students’ rights to do so,” Liz Sanders, director of communications at the California Department of Education, told Fox News Digital.
Newsom previously talked about transgender participation in girls sports back in March with prominent conservative Charlie Kirk.
“The young man who’s about to win the state championship in the long jump in female sports, that shouldn’t happen,” Kirk said. “You, as the governor, should step out and say no. Would you do something like that? Would you say no men in female sports?”

“I think it’s an issue of fairness. I completely agree with you on that. It is an issue of fairness — it’s deeply unfair,” Newsom told Kirk. “I am not wrestling with the fairness issue. I totally agree with you.”
Kirk pressed Newsom on whether he would condemn the athlete in question from Jurupa Valley High School after the athlete won another event at the time. Newsom did not directly address the win but said, “It’s a fairness issue.”
“So, that’s easy to call out the unfairness of that,” he said. “There’s also a humility and a grace. … These poor people are more likely to commit suicide, have anxiety and depression. And the way that people talk down to vulnerable communities is an issue that I have a hard time with as well.
“So, both things I can hold in my hand. How can we address this issue with the kind of decency that I think, you know, is inherent in you but not always expressed on the issue?”
Breadcrumb trail leads authorities in mom’s slaying hundreds of miles away
Barry Morphew was indicted on Friday with a first-degree murder charge in the death of his wife, Suzanne Morphew.
While Suzanne Morphew went missing in May 2020, her body wasn’t found by investigators in Colorado until September 2023. Over two years later, Barry Morphew was charged in her death. The new effort to convict him comes after similar charges were dropped in 2022, following prosecutorial misconduct.
Here’s a timeline of Suzanne Morphew’s disappearance and Barry Morphew’s alleged involvement:
BARRY MORPHEW SEEN FOR FIRST TIME AFTER JAIL BOOKING, MAINTAINS INNOCENCE IN WIFE’S DEATH
May 6, 2020:
Suzanne Morphew texts Barry Morphew: “I’m done. I could care less what you’re up to and have been for years. We just need to figure this out civilly.”
May 10, 2020:
Suzanne Morphew was last seen on May 10, 2020. Court documents indicate that Barry Morphew told detectives that the last time he saw his wife was at 5 a.m. that morning when he got up to leave for Denver, Colorado for a landscaping job. Suzanne Morphew’s neighbor reported her missing to police after she disappeared during a bike ride on Mother’s Day.
Law enforcement officials found Suzanne Morphew’s blue mountain bike, adding that there was no blood around it. One of the deputies investigating the case said he “started to question if something criminal had occurred as it looked like the bike was purposely thrown in this location.”
A massive search effort to find Suzanne Morphew also began, with involvement from the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office, FBI and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
May 13, 2020:
Investigators found Suzanne Morphew’s bicycle helmet about .84 miles from where her bicycle was located.
May 14, 2020:
According to 9 News, Barry Morphew posted a video to Facebook on May 14, 2020, pleading for his wife’s return home.
“Oh Suzanne, if anyone is out there that can hear this, that has you, please we’ll do whatever it takes to bring you back,” Barry Morphew said. “We love you. We miss you. Your girls need you.”
“No questions asked, however much they want. I will do whatever it takes to get you back,” he added. “Honey I love you. I want you back so bad.”
May 5, 2021:
Barry Morphew was arrested on charges of murder after deliberation, attempting to influence a public servant and tampering with physical evidence. He pleaded not guilty.

May 15, 2023:
When Barry Morphew was asked during a Good Morning America interview if he was involved in his wife’s disappearance, he said: “Absolutely not.”
“They’ve got tunnel vision and they looked at one person and they’ve got too much pride to say they’re wrong and look somewhere else,” Barry Morphew added. “I don’t have anything to worry about. I’ve done nothing wrong.”
Despite a mountain of evidence from prosecutors that there were allegedly issues with their marriage, Barry Morphew said nothing was wrong.
“We had a wonderful life, a wonderful marriage,” Barry Morphew said. “She was just so loving and giving, and such a good mother.”
Macy Morphew, his daughter, said she has “never had a shred of doubt” about her father.
REMAINS OF COLORADO MISSING MOM SUZANNE MORPHEW FOUND THREE YEARS AFTER DISAPPEARANCE
Sept. 22, 2023:
The remains of Suzanne Morphew were found on Sept. 22, 2023 by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Her remains were found in Moffat, Colorado.
April 29, 2024:
An autopsy ruled Suzanne Morphew’s death a homicide with butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine intoxication in her body, according to CBI.
June 20, 2025:
Barry Morphew was indicted by a grand jury charging him with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Suzanne Morphew. He was arrested in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
The chemicals that comprise butorphanol, azaperone and medetomidine (BAM) were found inside Suzanne Morphew’s body, prosecutors said. According to the indictment, Barry Morphew used “BAM” as a tranquilizer to sedate and transport deer on his deer farm.
According to investigators, Morphew was the only person in any surrounding counties who had purchased a BAM prescription between 2017-2020.

Fan banned from MLB stadiums after leaving Diamondbacks star in tears: source
The fan who yelled derogatory comments about Arizona Diamondbacks star Ketel Marte’s late mother during the team’s 4-1 win over the Chicago White Sox at Rate Field Tuesday is banned indefinitely from all MLB ballparks, a source confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The 22-year-old fan admitted to taunting Marte and was remorseful, according to ESPN.
Marte, 31, was left in tears after the fan yelled derogatory comments about his late mother, Elpidia Valdez, who died in a car crash in the Dominican Republic in 2017.

“We commend the White Sox for taking immediate action in removing the fan,” MLB said in a statement to Fox News Digital. MLB did not comment on what the fan told Marte when asked by Fox News Digital.
The Diamondbacks played the White Sox again Wednesday, and the White Sox displayed a message on their scoreboard in support of Marte in the first inning.
“Baseball is Family: The White Sox community supports Ketel Marte,” the message said.
Diamondbacks’ manager Torey Lovullo consoled the tearful Marte on the mound and put his arm around him during a pitching change in the seventh inning.
DIAMONDBACKS STAR KETEL MARTE CRIES ON FIELD AFTER FAN’S CRUEL COMMENTS ABOUT LATE MOTHER
“It was a terrible moment. Fans are nasty. Fans go too far,” an emotional Lovullo told reporters after the game.
“I just reacted as a dad would when I went out to change pitchers,” Lovullo said, according to The Arizona Republic. “I could see he was sobbing. It hurt.”
Lovullo added that he told Marte he was not alone, and that the heckler was “an idiot.”
Diamondbacks shortstop Geraldo Perdomo called for the fan to banned after the game ended Tuesday.
“That can’t happen,” Perdomo said. “We can’t continue to do that … here in MLB.”

Lauren Sánchez’s ex attends wedding to Jeff Bezos: Inside her past loves
Before Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez found love and became one of the world’s most talked-about couples, the Amazon founder and his soon-to-be bride each navigated their respective relationships — and their downfalls — over the past three decades in various ways.
From friendly exes who co-parent to highly publicized — and expensive — divorces, both Bezos and Sánchez’s lengthy relationship history proved to pave the way to what would become a fairytale romance for the ages.
Though it’s likely most of their exes won’t be attending their lavish Italian wedding, Sanchez’s ex-boyfriend and former Kansas City Chiefs player, Tony Gonzalez, is on deck to support the couple’s nuptials.
JEFF BEZOS AND LAUREN SÁNCHEZ ARRIVE IN VENICE AS WEDDING FESTIVITIES BEGIN
According to People, Gonzalez and his wife, October, will be attending the wedding festivities in Venice this week. Gonzalez and Sánchez share one son, Nikko, together.
Sánchez and Gonzalez’s wife October are “super close,” the source said. October attended Sánchez’s bachelorette party in May.
Here’s a look at the couple’s past romantic relationships that helped pave their way to each other.
MacKenzie Scott
Scott and Bezos wed in 1993 and share four children together.
In 2019, the duo announced their divorce after 25 years of marriage. They settled shortly after.
“Grateful to have finished the process of dissolving my marriage with Jeff with support from each other and everyone who reached out to us in kindness, and looking forward to next phase as co-parents and friends,” MacKenzie wrote in her first tweet. “Happy to be giving him all of my interests in the Washington Post, Blue Origin, and 75 [percent] of our Amazon stock plus voting control of my shares to support his continued contributions with the teams of these incredible companies. Excited about my own plans. Grateful for the past as I look forward to what comes next.”
Bezos responded with a tweet of his own, thanking MacKenzie for her “support and kindness in this process.”
“I’m so grateful to all my friends and family for reaching out with encouragement and love. It means more than you know. MacKenzie most of all. I’m grateful for her support and for her kindness in this process and am very much looking forward to our new relationship as friends and co-parents.”
“In all our work together, MacKenzie’s abilities have been on full display. She has been an extraordinary partner, ally, and mother. She is resourceful and brilliant and loving, and as our futures unroll, I know I’ll always be learning from her,” he concluded.
Bezos didn’t have a prenup with Scott, and the separation left her with a 4% stake in the online shopping giant, or around $36 billion at the time.
“Bezos handled his first divorce as fast as an Amazon delivery,” Christopher Melcher, an attorney and partner at Walzer Melcher & Yoda LLP, told Fox News Digital of Bezos’ first marriage. “It was quick but not painless. Billions of dollars were at stake, which were earned during marriage and had to be split because there was no premarital agreement.”
Tony Gonzalez
Gonzalez and Sánchez began dating in 2000. They welcomed a son, Nikko Gonzalez, in February 2001.
The pair called it quits in 2002, but have remained on good terms in the years following.
Gonazelez, who has been married to his wife October since 2007, and Sánchez celebrated their son’s graduation as a blended family in 2024.
Sánchez previously opened up about her relationship with Gonzalez in a 2023 interview with The Wall Street Journal.
“It wasn’t always that way. There was friction [at the beginning]. But Tony and [his wife October] were at Thanksgiving with us [this year], and we’re really good friends,” she said.
“That took about five years, but we always communicated. I’m not saying that being best friends with your ex is the end-all be-all — but you do need to be able to communicate.
“I’m so proud of it. My son looks at me, and he’s like, ‘I’m the luckiest boy in the world because I can have Thanksgiving with both my parents, and they don’t have to be married.'”
Henry Simmons
Sánchez was briefly engaged to “NYPD Blue” star Henry Simmons in the early 2000s.
Not much is known about their relationship, but it was reported that Sánchez called off her engagement with Simmons shortly after meeting her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell.
Patrick Whitesell
Patrick Whitesell and Sánchez tied the knot in 2005. They went on to have a son, Evan Whitesell, in 2006 and a daughter, Eleanor Whitesell, in 2008.
After over a decade of marriage, the couple separated and filed for divorce.
Sánchez allegedly signed a prenuptial agreement with Whitesell. According to TMZ, the former couple’s assets and properties were divided per the agreement.
According to People, celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser mediated the divorce agreement.

A number of celebrities are invited to the wedding festivities, which remain a secret but are expected to kick off on Thursday and end Saturday in the picturesque Italian city.
Vanity Fair reported on Wednesday that the first event of the Bezoz-Sánchez wedding will be a kick-off party in Cannaregio. The outlet noted that the wedding party has water cabs ready to escort guests to the Italian city. A city ordinance has already been sent out, blocking off traffic from 6 PM to midnight between Madonna dell’Orto and nearby streets, the outlet reported.
The party is reportedly being held in the Sant’Alvise complex, which is a 14th century church, monastery, and Barco. Per Vanity Fair, Bezos will be escorted by 10 bodyguards during the kick-off party and the Italian government has recruited reinforcements to maintain the privacy and safety of all attendees amid recent protests.
