ICE agents ambushed in two attacks as DOJ identifies 10 suspects charged

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and other federal law enforcement officers conducting immigration enforcement have been targeted in at least two ambushes in Texas in recent days.

The Justice Department on Monday named 10 individuals charged with shooting a police officer in the neck and opening fire on other correctional officers outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, on the Fourth of July. The group, donning all black, allegedly first began shooting fireworks at the facility, which is being used by the Department of Homeland Security to hold people related to immigration violations or awaiting deportation.

The defendants are Cameron Arnold, also known as Autumn Hill; Savannah Batten; Nathan Baumann; Zachary Evetts; Joy Gibson; Bradford Morris, also known as Meagan Morris; Maricela Rueda; Seth Sikes; Elizabeth Soto; and Ines Soto. The complaint charges each of them with three counts of attempted murder of a federal officer and three counts of discharging a firearm during, in relation to and in furtherance of a violent crime.

ACTIVE SHOOTER KILLED IN ATTEMPT TO AMBUSH BORDER PATROL AGENTS IN TEXAS

Approximately 10 minutes after convening at the ICE facility, one or two individuals broke off from the main group and began to spray graffiti on vehicles and a guard structure in the parking lot, authorities said. Photos included in the criminal complaint, filed in the Northern District of Texas, show vehicles tagged with the messages “ICE pig” and “F— you pigs.” Correction officers dialed 911 and an Alvarado police officer responded to the scene.

Immediately after the officer got out of his vehicle, one defendant positioned in nearby woods allegedly shot the officer in the neck, according to the complaint. Another assailant, wearing a green mask and standing across the street, then allegedly fired 20 to 30 rounds at unarmed correctional officers who had stepped outside the facility.

“The shooting was captured by both CCTV and the APD officer’s body-worn camera,” the complaint says.

The FBI recovered AR-style rifles from the scene. The group fled from the detention center separately – some on foot, some in vehicles – and were later stopped by other law enforcement officers. The complaint notes that the defendants were “dressed in black, military-style clothing,” some were wearing body armor, some were armed, and some had two-way radios.

Prosecutors said a total of twelve sets of body armor were found during searches of vehicles associated with the defendants, on their persons, and in the area around the Prairieland Detention Center. Law enforcement also found spray paint, magazines containing ammunition and flyers stating, “FIGHT ICE TERROR WITH CLASS WAR!” and “FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS.” A flag was found that read, “RESIST FASCISM – FIGHT OLIGARCHY.”

DHS: ASSAULTS ON ICE NOW UP NEARLY 700% OVER SAME TIME LAST YEAR

Gibson had two cell phones inside his backpack inside a “Faraday bag,” which is used to block phone signals and “commonly used by criminal actors to try to prevent law enforcement from tracking their location,” according to prosecutors.

Two days after the attack, Rueda allegedly called Daniel Rolando Sanchez, who was charged in a separate complaint, expressing concern police would conduct a search warrant on Rueda’s home in Fort Worth.

“Whatever you need to do, move whatever you need to move at the house,” Rueda said, according to court documents.

The FBI conducted surveillance on another address in Garland, Texas, believed to be Sanchez’s residence and observed Sanchez carrying multiple packages to his truck. Agents followed Sanchez to an apartment in Denton. He carried a box inside which contained “anti-government propaganda,” including fliers stating “Organising for Attack! Insurrectionary Anarchy,” according to the complaint.

The complaint was announced the same day that a man in a “utility vest” and armed with an assault rifle fired dozens of rounds at federal agents and a U.S. Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas, near the U.S.-Mexico border, on Monday.

A police officer was injured before authorities say they shot and killed the assailant, identified as 27-year-old Ryan Louis Mosqueda.

Police say Mosqueda was linked to a Michigan address, but was reported missing from a Weslaco, Texas, address around 4 a.m. Monday. Weslaco is about 20 miles from the Border Patrol facility.

Hours before the attack in McAllen, Mosqueda’s father was stopped by Weslaco police around 2:30 a.m. for a traffic violation, according to police spokesperson Heriberto Caraveo. The father told police that he was looking for his son, who he said had psychological issues and was carrying weapons in his car, Caraveo told The Associated Press.

Police say the white two-door sedan that Mosqueda drove to the facility had letters painted — possibly in Latin — on the driver’s side door.

“What it means, or whether or not it is an underlying reason for him being here, I do not know,” Rodriguez said when asked about the graffiti.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said Saturday that the Justice Department was “closely monitoring the attacks on DHS detention facilities in Prairieland, TX, and Portland, OR, and are coordinating with the USAOs and our law enforcement partners.” He said in a post to X, “The Department has zero tolerance for assaults on federal officers or property and will bring the full weight of the law against those responsible.”

An ICE facility in Portland, Oregon, has faced repeated protests and attacks, and nearly two dozen people have been arrested since June.

Another four suspects were arrested for allegedly targeting the facility on the Fourth of July, according to Oregon Live.  Those defendants are Jeremy Andrew Hummel, Andrew Lee Wyatt Marcum, Riley Freeman and Ian Joseph McCarthy.

Freeman is accused of tossing an incendiary device that exploded near federal officers outside the facility. Marcum is accused of kicking a federal officer who was chasing after Hummel, who was allegedly tagging protective plywood with graffiti.

Prosecutors say McCarthy, meanwhile, used bolt cutters while attempting to damage an electronic card reader near the driveway of the ICE building. He was also spotted allegedly removing fiber optic cables, interrupting the internet service inside the building. McCarthy also allegedly kicked and punched officers while being placed under arrest.

Freeman, Marcum and McCarthy appeared in federal court on Monday, but all three were released pending future court proceedings, according to KATU.

Schumer threatens ‘grave implications’ if GOP moves forward with $9.4B in cuts

Senate Republicans are set to consider a multibillion-dollar package of cuts from the White House, but the top Senate Democrat warned that doing so could have consequences for a later government funding showdown.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., warned on Tuesday that the Senate GOP’s plan to move forward with a $9.4 billion rescissions package would have “grave implications” on Congress, particularly the forthcoming government funding fight in September.

“Republicans’ passage of this purely partisan proposal would be an affront to the bipartisan appropriations process,” Schumer wrote in a letter to fellow Senate Democrats.

2 LONE REPUBLICANS VOTE AGAINST TRUMP’S ‘BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL’ AS IT HEADS TO PRESIDENT’S DESK

“That’s why a number of Senate Republicans know it is absurd for them to expect Democrats to act as business as usual and engage in a bipartisan appropriations process to fund the government, while they concurrently plot to pass a purely partisan rescissions bill to defund those same programs negotiated on a bipartisan basis behind the scenes,” he continued.

The rescissions package, proposed by the Impoundment Control Act, allows the White House to request that Congress roll back congressionally appropriated funding. Such proposed cuts must be approved by both chambers within 45 days.

TAX CUTS, WORK REQUIREMENTS AND ASYLUM FEES: HERE’S WHAT’S INSIDE THE SENATE’S VERSION OF TRUMP’S BILL

This package in particular, which narrowly squeaked through the House by a two-vote margin last month, would claw back $8.3 billion in funding for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and over $1 billion in cuts to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), the government-backed funding arm for NPR and PBS.

The package, informed heavily by the cuts proposed by President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, formerly helmed by tech billionaire Elon Musk, would only need to pass a simple majority in the upper chamber to pass.

Musk and DOGE made USAID a primary target of their hunt for waste, fraud and abuse within the federal government, dismantling much of the long-standing organization ahead of the rescission request.

The impending deadline to fund the government in September will either require the passage of a dozen appropriations bills – something Congress has not done in years – or the need to work with Democrats to crest the 60-vote threshold in the Senate.

GOP LAWMAKERS REBUKE ELON MUSK’S PRIMARY THREATS, SAY TRUMP’S LEGISLATION ‘SOMETHING WE’VE GOT TO DO’

And the rescissions package is not wildly popular among Republicans.

Senate Appropriations Chair Susan Collins, R-Maine, said during a hearing on the package late last month that she was concerned about proposed cuts to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the CPB, and warned that cuts to the AIDS and HIV prevention program would be “extraordinarily ill-advised and shortsighted.”

Schumer is no stranger to trying to leverage government funding fights to his advantage. Earlier this year, he withheld support for the House GOP-authored government funding extension before ultimately agreeing to the deal.

That same scenario could play out once more come September.

“This is beyond a bait-and-switch – it is a bait-and-poison-to-kill,” Schumer said. “Senate Republicans must reject this partisan path and instead work with Democrats on a bipartisan appropriations process.”

Reporter makes stunning admission while reflecting on Trump’s Butler rally in new book

Salena Zito, a veteran political reporter with more than 20 years of storytelling experience, is telling her own story in her book, “Butler: The Untold Story of the Near Assassination of Donald Trump and the Fight for America’s Heartland.”

Zito’s book, released Tuesday, takes readers back to July 13, 2024, when a young shooter unleashed gunfire into the crowd at President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

I didn’t get down,” Zito told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview ahead of the release. “There was this inner voice that told me, ‘You have a job to do, continue doing it.’”

When 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks began firing toward Trump, Zito found herself in the Secret Service’s secure perimeter, right by the stage where Trump was delivering his remarks.

FOX NATION REVEALS NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN FOOTAGE FROM TRUMP ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT IN BUTLER

“Time has these layers that happen,” Zito said. “It’s not remembering them. It’s experiencing them. It’s this interesting thing that happens. I see a sea of navy blue suits immediately surround him. Then, I hear the second four shots. I still didn’t get down.”

PHOTOGRAPHER WINS PULITZER FOR ICONIC PHOTO OF BULLET SPEEDING BY TRUMP’S HEAD DURING ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT

As a gun owner, Zito recognized the sound of the gunshots right away. But as a journalist, she quickly began to commit the historic moment to memory as it was unfolding.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Zito described the scene she saw first-hand, that was caught on video by the network pool camera and watched across the world.

Just over eight minutes into Trump’s speech, Zito was standing in the “buffer” with her daughter, her son-in-law and a Trump campaign aide, Michel Picard. It was Picard who finally brought Zito to the ground.

“Michel Picard takes me down and lies on top of me and covers me,” Zito explained. “This young man didn’t have to do this. He will always be a hero in my heart. He lies on the top of my daughter. My son-in-law has already taken my daughter down.”

Zito said, even from that vantage point, she could still see and hear the situation unfolding as Trump shouted out for his shoes, someone called out for a medic and a woman screamed.

“I had my recorder on my phone because I thought I was going to be recording the rally, his speech. I wanted to make sure I got the nuance. I always do that. I could see, and I could hear everything that was happening.”

She said Trump was saying, “USA,” from the ground as the crowd began to chant. When the Secret Service helped Trump onto his feet, he shouted, “Fight! Fight! Fight,” Zito said she saw a different side of Trump, which is revealed in her book.

The journalist, who is a political reporter for the Washington Examiner, is a special contributor for the Washington Post and has been a columnist for the New York Post, said Trump must have called her seven times in the 24 hours after the shooting.

Zito was slated to interview Trump ahead of his rally in Butler, but such is the case with presidential campaign schedules, the interview time kept slipping. Zito was planning to fly with Trump to Bedminster, N.J., to interview him after the rally.

Trump recovered from his near assassination with little more than a bullet graze to the ear, thanks to the immigration chart he was turning his head to face. One rally attendee, firefighter Corey Comperatore, was killed, and two others were critically injured by Crooks’ gunshots.

Comperatore shielded his wife and daughters from the shots, saving his family. Trump honored their family when he returned to Butler to finish the rally later that year.

“This book is for everyone,” Zito told Fox News Digital. “First of all, it was a witness to history. And it’s told in a way that is very conversational and told in way that’s very real and authentic. I tell the story exactly the way that it happened.”

“But it’s also a book about understanding why place and rootedness [are] so important in American politics. There have been very few Republicans or Democrats that have understood that. Protests erupt in popular vacation spot targeting Americans: ‘Respect my culture’

As overtourism continues to be a liability for many vacation destinations and cities, a number of locals have been making their feelings known about unwanted visitors to their home areas.

Residents in Mexico City protested against mass tourism over the weekend, with hundreds of people taking to the streets, The Associated Press (AP) reported.

Protesters marched in neighborhoods that are popular with tourists, as well as near the U.S. Embassy and inside metro stations in a stand against gentrification of the popular destination.

What began as a peaceful march then took a turn when a small group of people in masks began smashing storefronts, looting and harassing foreigners, AP reported.

Popular areas such as Condesa and Roma were affected.

Graffiti written on shattered glass from rocks read, “Get out of Mexico,” AP reported.

Other signs held by protesters read, among other messages, “Gringos, stop stealing our home,” and Pay taxes, learn Spanish, respect my culture.”

Protesters are demanding stricter housing laws and legislation to regulate tourism levels.

Many Americans took advantage of cheaper rent prices in Mexico during the coronavirus, escaping lockdowns in 2020 as “digital nomads.”

The number of Americans living in Mexico jumped 70% from 2019 to 2022.

“There are a lot of foreigners, namely Americans, coming to live here.”

It has continued to grow to a total of 1.6 million, according to the U.S. State Department.

Local college student Michelle Castro told AP she has watched the transformation of her “working-class” community.

“There are a lot of foreigners, namely Americans, coming to live here. Many say it’s xenophobia, but it’s not,” said Castro.

She added, “It’s just that so many foreigners come here [and] rents are skyrocketing because of Airbnb. Rents are so high that some people can’t even pay anymore.”

Last month, people in Barcelona and on the Spanish island of Mallorca sprayed tourists with water guns in an attempt to “cool down” tourism, Fox News Digital previously reported.

Other cities have held their own tourism protests, with locals gathering in Venice, Italy, and Lisbon, Portugal.

Other international vacation destinations have implemented taxes in an effort to curb tourism, Fox News Digital previously reported.

Greek officials, for example, are planning to impose a $22 tax on visitors cruising to Santorini or Mykonos.

How Texas victims were warned by alert system hours before deadly floods

In the event of a disaster, a mobile phone may be the first to alert someone.

With Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs), customers of telecommunications companies including Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T receive urgent messages from government agencies during critical situations such as tornadoes, flash floods or AMBER Alerts. FEMA said the messages show the type and time of the alert, any action people in the impacted area should take, and the agency issuing the alert.

Here’s how they work:

WEAs are issued by authorized federal, state, local, tribal and territorial public alerting authorities and broadcast from cell towers to any WEA‐enabled mobile device in a locally targeted area. WEA is part of a partnership between FEMA, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and wireless providers, aimed at enhancing public safety.

MAJOR COMPANIES PROVIDE DISASTER RELIEF TO DEVASTATED TEXAS COMMUNITIES AFTER DEADLY FLOODING

There are different types of alerts, but natural disasters and extreme weather fall under the Imminent Threat Alerts category.

Wireless Emergency Alerts are not subscription-based, according to FEMA. There is also no need to provide personal information to receive a WEA. WEAs are free and based on location. However, people will still receive messages even if they are in an area where they don’t live or are outside the area where the phone is registered.

If someone travels into an area after a WEA was sent, they will receive the message, if the alert is still active.

To identify if it’s an WEA, FEMA said the alert will be no more than 360 characters. These messages will also have a specific tone and vibration that will be repeated twice.

TEXAS SUMMER CAMP EVACUATED 70 STAYING NEAR RIVER AHEAD OF FLOODING: ‘SAW IT COMING’

Wireless providers are selling devices with WEA capability included. However, to find out if a phone can receive WEA alerts, FEMA said people should contact their wireless provider, which participates in WEA on a voluntary basis.

Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) do not track people’s location. Instead, they’re broadcast from cell towers to all WEA-enabled phones in a specific geographic area.

If a phone is in range, a person will receive the alert no matter which carrier they use. If someone is on a call when an alert is sent, it will be delayed until the call ends. WEAs are also not affected by network congestion, so they can get through even when regular calls or texts are slow.

Aside from the WEAs, the National Weather Service also sends up repeated warnings.

On July 3, ahead of the deadly flooding in Central Texas, the NWS offices in Austin and San Antonio conducted forecast briefings for emergency management in the morning and issued a Flood Watch in the early afternoon. Flash Flood Warnings were issued on the morning of July 4, giving preliminary lead times of more than three hours before warning criteria were met.

First, the National Water Center Flood Hazard Outlook issued on July 3 indicated an expansion of flash flood potential to include Kerrville, Texas, and surrounding areas. A Flood Watch was then issued by NWS Austin and San Antonio around 1:18 p.m. central time Thursday, in effect through Friday morning.

The Weather Prediction Center (WPC) also issued three Mesoscale Precipitation Discussions for the excessive rainfall event as early as 6:10 p.m. Thursday, indicating the potential for flash flooding.

The National Water Center Area Hydrologic Discussion (AHD) #144 messaged locally considerable flood wording for areas north and west of San Antonio, including the city of Kerrville, and the first Flash Flood Warning for the event was issued at 11:41 p.m. Thursday for Bandera County. The AHD is a tool to help the NWS quickly identify and communicate potential flash flood threats.

At 1:14 a.m. Friday, a Flash Flood Warning marked as “considerable” was issued for Bandera and Kerr counties, signaling a serious threat. Warnings labeled “considerable” or “catastrophic” mean there’s a high risk of major damage. These alerts automatically go out as emergency notifications to cellphones in the area and are also broadcast over NOAA Weather Radio, ensuring the public is warned during only the most dangerous flash flood events.

The NWS said the first reports from Kerr County Sheriff’s Office of flooding at low water crossings had 201 minutes of lead time. However, just after 4 a.m. local time, the Flash Flood Warning was upgraded to a Flash Flood Emergency for south-central Kerr County, including Hunt.

An hour later, the National Water Center Area Hydrologic Discussion #146 included concern about considerable widespread flooding throughout the day. The Flood Hazard Outlook was also upgraded to considerable and catastrophic.

A Flash Flood Emergency was issued for the Guadalupe River at 5:34 a.m.

OJ Simpson lawyer delivers grim forecast for Diddy’s fate behind bars

Despite his partial acquittal on federal charges, Sean “Diddy” Combs remained behind bars as he awaits a decision on the judge’s sentencing.

Speculation as to how much time the rapper would spend in the slammer circulated after Diddy beat the RICO charge that would have landed him in prison for life.

Robert Shapiro, the first member and initial chair of OJ Simpson’s defense team, gave a grim prediction regarding Diddy’s potential sentence. After being found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, Diddy’s judge proposed his sentencing hearing take place on Oct. 3.

“I have to look into a crystal ball. And this is going to be a call that only one person is going to make,” Shapiro told Fox News Digital. “Many times we will rely on a probation report or a pre-sentence report where they calculate the guidelines.”

DIDDY JUDGE RULES RAPPER MUST REMAIN BEHIND BARS AS HE AWAITS SENTENCING

According to Shapiro, judges will typically follow these guidelines, and the former defense attorney estimated the range in Diddy’s case would likely come out to be in the 2.5-3.5-year range.

“Whether or not he had a criminal history, I don’t know. That could raise it,” he explained. “But, having said that and having seen that this judge did not release him on bail, I think a message may be coming that you’re going to be spending a lot more time, so no reason to let you come out and come back in.”

DIDDY BEATS RICO, FOUND NOT GUILTY OF RACKETEERING CONSPIRACY AND SEX TRAFFICKING

WATCH: DIDDY ASSAULTS EX-GIRLFRIEND CASSIE VENTURA IN HOTEL VIDEO

Shapiro pointed out that Judge Arun Subramanian brought up the 2016 surveillance video showing Diddy attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura when denying the rapper’s bail application.

“If the judge looks at that tape in his mind and is reminded about it again… I think there is a real chance that a substantial sentence will be forthcoming.”

Diddy could spend a maximum of 20 years behind bars, 10 years for each count he was convicted of. However, the prosecution suggested the rapper be kept behind bars somewhere between four and five years.

Celebrity lawyer David Chesnoff noted that while the circumstances of Diddy’s case would generally lead to a low sentence, Judge Subramanian can actually do a “variance.” The criminal defense attorney explained the sentencing guidelines don’t take into account other factors the judge is allowed to consider.

“The guidelines in this case, based on what he got convicted of and the lack of criminal history, would lead you to think that it could be a rather low sentence,” Chesnoff, who has defended Paris Hilton, Bruno Mars and more, told Fox News Digital. “And considering the amount of time he’s been in, he’d be out quickly, but on the other hand, the judge is allowed to do what’s called a variance — when the guidelines don’t take into account factors that the judge is allowed to consider.”

“I got the sense from this judge that he feels that [Diddy is] deserving of punishment, otherwise he wouldn’t have kept him in,” he added. “So it’s hard to speculate. The maximum sentence is 10 and 10. That’s very unlikely. But do I think that he’ll get somewhere above what the defense wants and lower than what the government wants? I think he’ll split the baby.”

During a press conference following the verdict, his lead counsel, Marc Agnifilo, boasted that the team wasn’t going to stop until Diddy walks out a free man to his family.

WATCH: DIDDY’S LEGAL TEAM WON’T STOP UNTIL HE WALKS A ‘FREE MAN,’ RAPPER’S ATTORNEY SAYS

“We are not nearly done fighting. We are just getting started,” Agnifilo said outside the courthouse Wednesday. “To win this and to defeat the prosecutors from the Southern District of New York takes effort from beginning to end. Today was a major, major step in the right direction. But we fight on and we’re going to win, and we’re not going to stop until he walks out of prison a free man to his family.”

Diddy’s judge denied the rapper’s bail package following his partial acquittal. Judge Subramanian claimed Diddy’s violence within his personal relationships, that Combs owned up to, was a contributing factor to his reasoning for keeping the rapper behind bars.

According to the federal judge, there would be no way to guarantee the safety of others should the musician be released.

NYC mayoral candidate’s threat to arrest Netanyahu gets brutal Trump response

After Zohran Mamdani, New York City’s leading mayoral candidate, pledged to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits the city, Netanyahu responded to questions about whether he’s worried.

In December, Mamdani, who identifies as a democratic socialist and is the Democratic Party’s nominee for New York City mayor, said, “as mayor, New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu.”

“This is a city that our values are in line with international law. It’s time that our actions are also,” Mamdani said, referring to the International Criminal Court issuing an arrest warrant against Netanyahu as well as Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

Netanyahu met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday evening to discuss a range of topics, including Iran and Israel’s ongoing war with Hamas.

When asked whether he was worried about the possibility of facing arrest in America’s largest city, Netanyahu said, “I’m not concerned about that.”

The prime minister added, “I’m going to come there with the President Trump and we’ll see.”

He went on to say that Mamdani’s threat is “silly in many ways, because it’s just not serious.”

Trump also chimed in, saying, “We don’t know who the mayor is going to be yet, but this is a communist. He’s not a socialist. He’s a communist, and he’s said some really bad things about Jewish people.”

TOP IRANIAN CLERIC CALLS FOR TRUMP’S EXECUTION

“He might make it,” Trump said. “But, you know, it all comes through the White House. He needs the money through the White House. He needs a lot.

“He’s going to behave. He’ll behave. He better behave. Otherwise, he’s going to have big problems.”

Hearkening back to an earlier question asked by reporters, Netanyahu said, “what is serious” is whether there can be a two-state solution in Gaza that does not pose an existential threat to the Israeli people.

“Look, there’s enough craziness in the world, but I guess it never ends,” he said. “After October 7th, people said the Palestinians had a state, Hamas state in Gaza, and look what they did with it. They didn’t build it up. They built down two bunkers into terror tunnels, after which they massacred our people, raped our women, beheaded our men, invaded our cities and our towns and our kibbutzim and did horrendous, horrendous massacres, the kind of which we didn’t see since World War two and the Nazis, the Holocaust.”

“So people aren’t likely to say, let’s just give them another state. It’ll be a platform to destroy Israel,” he added. “We’ll work up a peace with our Palestinian neighbors, those who don’t want to destroy us, and we’ll work out a peace in which our security, the sovereign power of security, always remains in our hands.”

“Now, people will say it’s not a complete state. It’s not a state, it’s not that, we don’t care,” he said. “You know, we vowed, ‘never again.’ Never again is now, it’s not going to happen again.”

“Vacation photos are popping up of Patrick Mahomes, and he’s fat. I’m gonna say it, and I’m gonna tell you the truth, that’s why you hit the play button, he’s an embarrassment,” he said. “You’re a $500 million quarterback, you’ve made all these comments in the offseason that ‘We’re gonna do our talking on the field, we got our butts kicked in the Super Bowl, we’re coming back with a vengeance.’ Dude, you’re fat. Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us, 60 year olds. My skin is flabbier than yours, I get it. Stop. Stop the fast food. Do a sit-up. Do something.

“Yeah, I’m sure he’s worked out and he’s strengthened his arm and he’s done all kind of different things, quarterback things, but there’s no training to this man. I don’t understand it. He’s an enormous talent. But I cannot stand it when I see somebody just sit back on their talent and not be the best that they are.”

Mahomes had previously gone viral for having a so-called “dad bod” and even teamed up with Coors Light to lean into that notion.

“I’ll also say I have a great body for a quarterback,” he told Time Magazine last year. “You’ve got to have some padding in there to take the hits that we take.”

Mahomes is listed at 225 pounds as he gets ready for Year 9.

The iPad, which is the latest model available, is the ultimate affordable tablet, complete with an A16 chip, delivering an incredibly fast user experience. The retina 11-inch display rivals the competition thanks to its True Tone adjustments that automatically adjust the screen depending on where you are and the conditions to give you the best picture. There’s an impressive 128 GB of storage, all the way up to 512 GB.

An artist’s dream, the iPad has a compatible Apple Pencil that makes drawing ultra-realistic. Note that the iPad doesn’t support the newest Apple Pencil Pro. The magic keyboard folio turns your iPad into a fully functioning laptop and detaches and attaches with a simple click.

To protect your iPad, a hard cover iPad case (that comes in nearly any color) and a screen protector are a must. They’ll prevent cracks and scratches from everyday wear and tear.
