General Situation
A trough of low pressure brought showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong today. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with showers and squally thunderstorms. More than 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over most parts of the territory, and rainfall even exceeded 30 millimetres over Sai Kung, Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan Districts. Showers eased off gradually in the afternoon. A trough of low pressure is expected to persist over Guangdong in the next couple of days. There will be heavy showers and squally thunderstorms over the region. With the trough of low pressure weakening early next week, showers will ease off slightly over the region.

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavier at times and will ease off gradually later. Temperatures will range between 24 and 29 degrees. Moderate southeasterly winds, becoming moderate to fresh south to southwesterlies, gusty at times.
There will still be showers and thunderstorms over the weekend. Showers will ease off on Monday. The weather will be unsettled again in the following couple of days.
